Northern oblasts

Kyiv Oblast

As part of the CRIMEA GLOBAL conference, 35 representatives of the countries of the Persian Gulf, Africa, Malaysia, Indonesia, and South America came to Ukraine. A delegation of the countries of the Global South visited the sites of russian war crimes in Irpin. The participants noted that in their states, the terrorist country has a powerful informational influence and the war in Ukraine is not sufficiently covered.

In the Bucha Raion, more than 18,000 buildings and facilities were completely and partially damaged during the hostilities. More than 16,000 of them are residential buildings. Ruslan Kravchenko, the head of the Kyiv Oblast Military Administration, together with members of the commission and media representatives, checked the progress of the reconstruction of four high-rise buildings in Bucha.

Next year, a new kindergarten will be opened in the village of Byshiv in the Kyiv Oblast. It will be a modern space for 75 children. The old building of the Kashtan kindergarten was destroyed by the russian occupiers. Construction of the new premises has already begun at the expense of the Fund for the Elimination of the Consequences of Armed Aggression.

Zhytomyr Oblast

Another train with IDPs from the eastern regions of Ukraine arrived in Berdychiv. 13 internally displaced persons, including five children, arrived in the Zhytomyr Oblast.

25 representatives of different communities of the Zhytomyr Oblast have started studying at a school for female farmers to learn new methods of doing business in agriculture. The school operates on the basis of the Polissia National University.

Chernihiv Oblast

On October 14, russians shelled the border areas of the Chernihiv Oblast six times from their territory. Border guards recorded 115 explosions. The Semenivka, Horodnia, and Snovsk communities came under fire.

Sumy Oblast

Over the past day, the soldiers of the russian federation carried out 20 shelling attacks on the border areas of the Sumy Oblast. 92 explosions were recorded. Five communities came under fire.

At night, the russian army shelled the Yunakivka community with MLRS and mortars. 12 explosions were recorded.

Eastern oblasts

Kharkiv Oblast

A 57-year-old man and a 54-year-old woman were killed as a result of a russian guided aerial bomb strike on the village of Druzheliubivtsi in the Borova community on the night of October 15. Another woman sustained shrapnel wounds and was hospitalized.

46 facilities damaged by shelling are planned to be restored in the Kharkiv Raion by the end of 2023. Construction work has already begun on 25 of them. The cost of the works is almost 921 million hryvnias.

Donetsk Oblast

On October 14, the russian army shelled 8 settlements in the Donetsk Oblast. The bombardment with the use of aircraft, missiles, Grad MLRS rockets, and artillery damaged 6 residential buildings, a medical institution, an overpass, cars, and power lines.

In the Donetsk Oblast, two people were killed in Avdiivka, and one more person was injured in Ocheretyne over the past day.

In total, since February 24, 2022, the Russians have killed 1,740 civilians of the Donetsk Oblast, and wounded another 4,256 people. The number of casualties in Mariupol and Volnovakha is currently unknown.

More than half a million residents remain in Donetsk region, 40,000 of them are children. Forced evacuation of children will be carried out from the Toretsk and Maryinka communities, where there are more than 250 minors.

Rescuers and volunteers of the Donetsk Oblast are preparing for power outages and blackouts in winter. Activists have provided them with three charging stations and five solar panels worth over 180 thousand hryvnias.

All stations and auxiliary posts of the Donetsk Railways Company, located in the government-controlled territory, have been renamed as part of the program of de-russification and Ukrainization of railway transport facilities since the beginning of the year.

Kramatorsk and Kramatorsk Raion

In the Lysychansk sector, a house in Siversk was damaged, and 12 shelling attacks on the Lyman community were recorded.

Pokrovsk and Pokrovsk Raion

Two people were killed in Avdiivka as the town was subjected to a missile attack and two massive artillery bombardments. One person was wounded in Ocheretyne, a house and an enterprise were damaged. Krasnohorivka, Antonivka, Novomykhailivka, and Kostyantynivka in the Maryinka community are under fire. A house in Kurakhove was damaged.

Bakhmut and Bakhmut Raion

In the Chasiv Yar community, 3 private houses and 2 high-rise buildings were damaged. In the Soledar community, Rozdolivka was shelled. An infrastructure facility was damaged in the settlement of New York.

Volnovakha and Volnovakha Raion

In the Volnovakha sector, Vuhledar and Maksymivka came under fire, with no casualties.

Mariupol

Nearly 2,000 kilograms of “warm aid” were collected at the YaMariupol centers for the Ukrainian Armed Forces. For two weeks, this effort continued in all the centers, in particular, for the soldiers of the Mariupol territorial defense units. Warm clothes, blankets, shoes, flashlights, trench candles – everything will go to the front.

Luhansk Oblast

The russian military dropped six KAB-500 aerial bombs on Nevske in the Svatove Raion. Information about the damage is being clarified.

A man and a woman were evacuated from Nevske, Luhansk Oblast, on October 14. The day before, russian troops bombarded the village using aircraft and artillery, and after one of the last shelling attacks, another house was destroyed.

The russian occupiers brought 1-2 modular boiler houses to Severodonetsk before the onset of winter, but in fact only a few dozen houses in the occupied city will have heating.

Southern oblasts 

Mykolaiv Oblast 

On October 14, the russian army launched artillery strikes on the Kutsurub community three times. There are no injuries or dead.

As of the beginning of October, more than 96,000 people have been examined. 13 thousand ha were demined. More than 34,400 explosive items were seized (including 57 aerial bombs).

In Mykolaiv, art therapy master classes were organized in the branch of the “Voices of Children” Charitable Foundation. The goal of the event is to help improve mental health during full-scale war.

Zaporizhzhia Oblast

russian military personnel carried out three missile strikes on Zaporizhzhia, 11 drone attacks on six populated areas, four MLRS attacks on Robotyne. The enemy bombarded Orikhiv, Novoandriivka, and Novodarivka with four aerial bombs. A total of 176 hits were recorded.

Tonight, russian troops struck the outskirts of Zaporizhia three times using S-300 air defense missiles. Infrastructural facilities were partially destroyed, and a fire broke out. Information about the victims is being clarified.

In the Zaporizhzhia direction, the russians tried five times to restore their lost position in the Robotyne and Verbove raions, but they were unsuccessful.

In Zaporizhzhia, a memorial plaque dedicated to the soldiers of the 128th Separate Mountain Assault Brigade of Zakarpattia was opened. It was placed on the facade of one of the five-story buildings on Zakarpattia Legion Street.

Kherson Oblast

Over the past day, the russian military shelled the Kherson Oblast 107 times. They targeted residential quarters, an educational institution building, a cultural center, a post office and a store, an enterprise, and the territory of a market. Two people died, two more were injured. 

Around one o’clock in the morning, the russian army struck Kizomys in the Kherson Oblast. A 79-year-old man was seriously injured. He was hospitalized and operated on.

At night, the russian military attacked Stanislav in the Kherson Oblast with anti-aircraft guns and phosphorus aerial bombs. The injured person was hospitalized and operated on.

In the morning, the enemy launched an airstrike from an SU-34 near a critical infrastructure facility in Kherson. Two guided aerial bombs were dropped on the suburbs of Kherson. There are destroyed houses, damaged power lines and infrastructure. As a result, communication in Kherson has deteriorated and there is no Internet. The authorities called on people, if necessary, to turn to the invincibility points, where generators and starlinks work, and there are supplies of food and water.

In the afternoon, russian shells hit power lines again. The center of Kherson is de-energized. Repair work is underway.

In Kherson, due to shelling by the russian army, the vestibules of the 11th carriage of train #102 Kherson — Kyiv were damaged by a shock wave, several windows were damaged. People were not injured. The train left the city and continued on schedule.

The russian army attacked four settlements in the Beryslav Raion of the Kherson Oblast and dropped 11 guided aerial bombs.

Central oblasts

Dnipropetrovsk Oblast

On the night of October 15, russian troops fired nearly 40 shells at the Nikopol and the Marganets community of the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. A private house caught fire in Nikopol due to shelling, the fire was extinguished. Another eight houses and one farm building were damaged. A power line, a minibus and 10 solar panels were affected. There are no dead or injured. In the sky over the Oblast, Ukrainian soldiers shot down a drone of the russian army.

Kirovohrad Oblast

The 2nd cross-country half-marathon “Iron Run” has started in Znamianka. In this way, athletes raise money to purchase a car for the soldiers of the 65th separate mechanized brigade of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. 76 participants registered. The oldest is 55 years old, the youngest is 5 years old.

Poltava Oblast

At the Lyceum of Kremenchuk, the bomb shelter began to be arranged. More than a thousand students study in this educational institution. Currently, dismantling works, installation of ventilation and sewerage have begun there. After the repairs are completed, the shelter will protect students of the lyceum and children from a nearby kindergarten.

Vinnytsia Oblast

220 children of defenders from Vinnytsia were sent to a children’s camp in the Zakarpattia Oblast. During two weeks, they will take part in outdoor quests and games, master classes and competitions.

Western Oblasts

Volyn Oblast

Valentyna Mazurik, a blind volunteer from Lutsk, knits a pair of warm mittens for the military every day. Since 2014, the woman has handed over 3,200 pairs to the front lines. The other day, the woman sent another 170 pairs of gloves to the Territorial Defense fighters from Volyn and 14 separate mechanized brigades.

Khmelnytskyi Oblast

Pupils of the Khmelnytskyi Vocational Technical School repair cars and special equipment for military and police special forces. In total, six units of military equipment, including off-road vehicles, have already been restored there.

Kamianets-Podilskyi

As part of the “Side-by-Side” program, the Khmelnytskyi Oblast allocated UAH 47 million for the reconstruction of Vysokopillia, the Kherson Oblast. It is planned to allocate about UAH 94 million more.

The public organization “Ratusha” from Kamianets-Podilskyi provided the soldiers of the combat unit stationed in the Kherson Oblast with autumn jackets, trousers, warm clothes, food, medical supplies and first-aid kits.

Today, children who underwent psychological rehabilitation for 30 days as part of the “Children of War” project in Kamianets-Podilskyi are returning home to Chornobaivka. Now recovery and rehabilitation await other children, because the “Children of War” project has been working continuously for the second year.

Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast

An action was held in Ivano-Frankivsk in support of the captured defenders of Mariupol. Approximately 60 people gathered on Vichevyi Maidan to remind the authorities and the world community about relatives and friends in russian captivity.

In Burshtyn, the Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast, a swimming tournament was held in memory of the Hero of Ukraine Dmytro Kotsiubailo with the call sign Da Vinci.

Ternopil Oblast

The busts of Stepan Bandera and Roman Shukhevych were opened in the village of Byshky of the Kozova community. It was done for the 80th anniversary of the location of the Headquarters of the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists-Ukrainian Insurgent Army in Byshky.

In Ternopil, more than 600 participants ran the “Fine Run” half marathon. The event was organized to raise money for military equipment for 105 separate Territorial Defense brigades of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
