It is known that these funds were collected during the “Harbuz fest [Pumpkin Fest]” charity event, so the volunteers are grateful to everyone who helped and continues to help our military.

The other day, the team of AUI “Active community” filmed an interview with Anna, originally from the Kherson Oblast, who now lives in Bohuslav. She shared her war story. Anna said that the war overtook her family twice – in 2014 in Luhansk Oblast, and in 2022 – in Kherson Oblast. Today, with two children, she found shelter in Bohuslav and even started her own business. She is engaged in what she loves very much – sewing, so she opened a studio.

Also, already this week, the first meeting of the Active Community Club in Bohuslav will be held on the topic “How did the Bohuslav community change during the full-scale war? “Ne na chasi [Out of time]” or what is urgent for the community today?” They plan to discuss the changes that have taken place in the community, whether the structure of the population has also changed, what is the communication between the authorities and citizens. Pavlo Pavlichenko, head of the department of economics and financial management of Bohuslav city council, will also be at the event, who will tell how the community is currently moving in this direction.

Zhytomyr Oblast

Energy workers from Zhytomyr Oblast went to Kherson Oblast to help restore energy supply there. There are currently three teams of Zhytomyr specialists in Kherson Oblast, which will work there for about a month.

Chernihiv Oblast 

Russian troops shelled the border areas of Chernihiv Oblast. Yesterday, the Semenivka community came under fire. From 11:55 a.m. to 12:33 p.m., border guards recorded 15 hits, presumably from 120 mm mortars and barrel artillery. From 1:23 p.m. to 2:00 p.m., the russians fired 14 shots from 120 mm mortars in the area of ​​Mykolaivka village. Another 14 rounds were recorded from 1:24 p.m. to 3:00 p.m., presumably from 120 mm mortars, and two explosions, presumably from cluster munitions, in the Leonivka area. As a result of russian shelling, the equipment of one of the local agricultural producers was damaged, and a transformer substation was destroyed near one of the settlements. 

Today, explosive devices were detonated near the village of Shestovytsia.

All residents were taken out of the border village of Senkivka. They fled because of the shelling of the russian military.

Yesterday, in Chernihiv Oblast, two soldiers – chief sergeant Ivan Koynash and soldier Vitaly Melnyk – were taken on their last journey.

In Chernihiv Oblast, emergency power outages have been added to scheduled power outages.

Sumy Oblast 

Yesterday, the russians fired 264 mines, rockets and projectiles along the border of Sumy Oblast. The communities of Shalygyne, Znob-Novgorodske, Khotyn, Bilopillya, Yunakivka and Krasnopilkya were shelled.

This morning, the russians shelled one of the critical infrastructure facilities of the Sumy Oblast with self-propelled guns. Three people are in the hospital.

Also today, the russians shelled the Yunakivka community with self-propelled guns. At least 5 houses were damaged: broken roofs, windows, fences. Outbuildings were also damaged.

Mine safety training took place in Sumy. Anyone willing could take part in the training after paying a charitable contribution of 100 hryvnias. This time almost three dozen people gathered.

The Christmas tree will not be lit in Sumy this year. Funds that should be directed to the maintenance of the Christmas tree will be redirected to defense capability.

Eastern Oblasts

Kharkiv Oblast 

Yesterday at around 22:40, the enemy hit Kharkiv with three missiles, previously the S-300 air defense system. An industrial facility was damaged in the Industrial district. Previously, there were no casualties.

The Korolenko library in Kharkiv, damaged by russian shelling, is raising money for restoration. According to the Ministry of Culture, it is necessary to collect 128 million hryvnias for the restoration of the library’s facade and the repair of book stores.

During the past day, the occupiers shelled the cities of Kupyansk and Vovchansk and other settlements of the Kupyansk, Chuguyiv and Kharkiv raions, located near the contact line and the border with the russian federation.

A residential building was damaged in Vovchansk of Chuguyiv raion, an infrastructure object and an educational institution were damaged in Shevchenkove village of Kupyansk raion. There were fires.

In Kupyansk, a 48-year-old man and a 26-year-old woman were hospitalized with injuries.

Demining works are ongoing in the Oblast. During the day, pyrotechnics of the State Emergency Service defused 80 explosive objects.

On the 13th of November, the russians injured 4 civilians in Donetsk Oblast: in Kurakhovo, Bakhmut, Andriivka, and Ivanovsk.

Currently, it is impossible to establish the exact number of victims in Mariupol and Volnovakha.

Since the 24th of February, the russians have killed 1,204 civilians of Donetsk Oblast, wounded another 2,592. The number of victims in Mariupol and Volnovakha is currently unknown.

Bakhmut

The enemy continued shelling in the direction of Bakhmut – from the entire range of artillery, in the areas of the settlements of Bilogorivka, Verkhnyokamianske, Spirne, Yakovlivka, Soledar, Bakhmutske, Bakhmut, Andriivka, Zelenopillia, Kurdyumivka, Ozaryanivka, Zalizne and New York.

Pokrovsk and Pokrovsk raion

In the east of Pokrovsk raion, the city of Kurakhove suffered the greatest destruction: as a result of enemy shelling, 7 high-rise buildings, kindergartens and an administrative building were damaged, 1 person was injured.

Kramatorsk

The mayor of Kramatorsk held a meeting with the housing and communal services. Currently, almost 90% of private sector houses are connected to gas supply. Connection work continues.

Repair of damaged buildings continues.

The regional coordinator navigates the work of the volunteers. Help was provided to a person with a disability. Even going down from the apartment to the yard is an overwhelming task due to the disabled elevators. Together with a group of volunteers, they helped the woman move to another apartment.

Mariupol

Instead of restoring the two floors of the building, which were completely destroyed during the russian shelling, the occupiers decided to simply cover them with sheets of corrugated board. In this way, they pretend that they are carrying out repairs and rebuilding housing for Mariupol residents. And at this time, most of the city’s residents continue to remain without heat, gas and water, live with broken windows and damaged roofs.

Demolition of houses is gathering pace. In total, the occupation authorities announced the demolition of 147 buildings this year. At least 30 percent of these houses are partially inhabited by Mariupol residents. The future fate of the residents is unknown – the occupation administration continues to pretend that they do not exist.

There are daily power outages throughout the city. The real reason is constant hardware crashes due to network reboots.

The Mariupol Resistance group once again “denazified” the russian flag from Freedom Square. The occupying power either does not notice or pretends that nothing happened.

Luhansk Oblast 

The Ukrainian military regained control over the settlement of Makiyivka, which is in the Krasnorichen settlement of the Svatove raion.

Belogorivka is under constant shelling and attacks by the russian army.

Winter is already two weeks away, and in Luhansk only a few days ago they realized that the so-called “lpr” had not prepared for the heating period. Traditionally, there are significant problems in Alchevsk, but the biggest ones are in the communities captured in 2022.

Southern Oblasts

Kherson Oblast 

The russians spread disinformation to reduce the level of negativity due to the de-occupation of Kherson. The report that “the surrender of Kherson is a strategic plan of the russian military command”, “exchange for Bakhmut” and strict filtering of the population of the Kherson Oblast is false, reports the Center for Combating Disinformation.

The russian military is advancing in the Bakhmut, Avdiivka and Novopavlivka directions, as well as creating defensive lines on the left bank of the Dnipro, the General Staff reported.

In the Kherson Oblast, the russian military shelled Gornostayivka with mortars due to the residents’ refusal to evacuate. Two people died, three were injured.

In the Tavriysk direction, the russian military shelled the areas of the settlements of Vyshchetarasivka, Mylove, Zolota Balka, Mykhailivka, and Shevchenkivka.

In the temporarily occupied settlements of Kakhovka, Tavriysk, and Novaya Kakhovka of the Kherson Oblast, a decrease in the number of russian troops is observed. Their number remains minimal in the cities, patrols are moving through the streets – reports the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The Ukrainian military on the right bank of the Dnieper liberated 179 settlements covering more than 4.5 thousand square kilometers. Stabilization measures and demining are carried out there.

Today in Kherson, people met the president of Ukraine and rejoiced. President Zelenskyi arrived in Kherson today. He met with local residents and the military. The flag of Ukraine was officially raised on the square.

Mobile operator Vodafone has returned to Kherson. Technicians built an almost “new” network for the city in less than 18 hours. Base stations are on the air and working at full capacity, the mobile communications operator Vodafone Ukraine reported.

A car ran over a russian mine in the village of Novoraiske in the Kherson Oblast. Four victims are known, including an 11-year-old child.

Kirovohrad Oblast

In order to arrange housing for internally displaced persons who have settled in the territory of the Novo Ukrainiska Territorial Community, local self-government bodies and public organizations are doing a lot of work. Since September of this year, 30 unemployed people, two of whom are internally displaced, have been working on the construction of two houses for displaced people. In general, almost 300 thousand hryvnias were allocated from the local budget for the organization of public works with the participation of the unemployed.

In the Haivoron community of the Golovanivsk raion, money was collected during the charity art campaign “Everything will be Ukraine”. We managed to collect 12,668 hryvnias. The funds, together with the previously collected sum, will be used for the purchase of a thermal imager.

Anatoliy Stoyan, the regional coordinator of the Active Community, provided advice to migrants from Donbass and Zaporizhzhia on obtaining documents on the status of IDPs, as well as information on available job vacancies in the regional center and surrounding communities.

Poltava Oblast

Senior soldier Serhii Pryima from Poltava oblast gave his life to Ukraine. 34-year-old Serhii Pryima came from the village of Martynivka. He was a driver of an anti-aircraft missile platoon. He was killed on November 8 near the village Kurdyumivka, Bakhmut raion. Today, the soldier was paid his last respects by a “living corridor” in Karlivka.

Anatoliy Pletiukh from Poltava oblast was killed at the front. It happened on November 9. The fallen defender is survived by his wife and two children. The funeral of the soldier will be held on November 14 in his native village Kustolovo-Sukhodilka.

Three more soldiers from Poltava oblast were killed while defending Ukraine: Junior Sergeant Volodymyr Reshta from Lubny raion was killed on November 9 near the town of Bakhmut, Donetsk oblast. He was 59 years old. On the same day, Sergeant Viktor Kyslyak died as a result of an air strike near Bakhmut. The 45-year-old soldier was from the village of Yerkivtsi. He is survived by his wife and five children. Sergeant Vladyslav Halayko died on November 10 as a result of mortar shelling near Yakovlivka, Donetsk oblast. The 25-year-old soldier was from the village of Voynivka.

For 9 months of 2022, the defenders of Poltava paid almost UAH 500 thousand in personal income taxes. This amount may increase next year due to the formation of a new missile regiment in Poltava. 

Poltava oblast’s terrorist defense is restoring trophy equipment that is being transferred to the frontline by the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Thus, a tank company “Ltava” was created from the trophies captured by the russians in the north of Poltava oblast. Tanks, armored infantry vehicles, artillery, and air defense equipment, which defenders and civilians took from the russian division near Hadiach, were handed over to the Land Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Svitlana Rybalko, the spokesperson of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Poltava oblast, is creating a mural on the wall of the department to honor the hard and dangerous work of rescuers. Yesterday, the final touches of this season were applied and today, November 14, the drawing will be preserved until spring, when the work will be completely completed. 

Five boys in Poltava oblast organized a checkpoint to raise money for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Country boys created their checkpoint where they gathered money for the military. Everyone who passed by the children’s checkpoint was offered to throw money into a corked glass jar, which was subsequently filled to the brim. Khmelnytsky Oblast

Kamianets-Podilskyi

A fellow countryman of the “Svoboda” battalion of the 4th operational brigade of the National Guard of Ukraine Andrii Shyian “Hora” was killed in the hellish battle that is now taking place in the Bakhmut direction. 

Rozmai Center for Culture and Arts appealed to the community with a proposal to help the residents of Kherson oblast. “The situation is very difficult, people do not have food, so we start collecting: cereals, canned food, vegetables, and other goods, as well as hygiene products to help our people to survive somehow!” 

Western Oblasts

Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast

Ivano-Frankivsk oblast received 2147 Chromebooks for teachers and teachers of vocational and general secondary education institutions. 1547 Chromebooks were handed over to schools, and 600 – to vocational education institutions. This was reported by the head of the Ivano-Frankivsk regional military administration Svitlana Onyshchuk. “We received the laptops within the framework of the national project “A laptop for every teacher” thanks to the cooperation of the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine with Google and with the support of the United Nations Educational, Scientific and Cultural Organization UNESCO,” said Ms. Onyshchuk.

Rivne Oblast

Today, on November 14, Rivne rescuers went to the Kharkiv oblast to conduct training with the civilian population on the risks associated with the handling of explosive objects in the de-occupied territories. 

In Rivne oblast, the first modular town for IDPs has been arranged. The first 12 houses for more than 40 internally displaced persons are being installed on the territory of the Radyvyliv community. The works on the installation of modular houses were started within the framework of the Programme of providing housing for internally displaced persons in the Rivne Oblast for 2022-2024. In addition, each house will be fully equipped with the necessary household appliances, furniture, and other equipment. 

7 tons of homemade cookies and 12.5 thousand cans of canned meat were sent to the military by volunteers from Ostroh raion. Ozhenyn volunteers have been working on their front for almost nine months of the war. In the local House of Prayer, residents united and began to prepare various delicacies for our defenders. In addition to cooking, in the House of Prayer of the village of Ozhenyn at the beginning of the war, three rooms for internally displaced persons were arranged, where the IDPs lived. 

Zakarpattia Oblast

‘Tvorchi Piatnytsi’ (Creative Fridays) are arranged in Uzhhorod. The public organization “Happy Children” suggested mothers with children creatively spend the end of a week. Art therapy is conducted by artist and ceramist Olga Ladyzhets. In the master classes, they paint with acrylic or sculpt from clay.

IDPs knitted gloves in the first laundry cafe “Bulka” in Uzhhorod Mostly, adults come to the first laundry cafe “Bulka” to wash clothes and drink coffee, and children – to play. Every day, about 20 people come to the “Bulka” to use the laundry. And during the week, about half a ton of clothes are washed here. 

The kitten found in the rubble in Kharkiv oblast will soon go with its rescuer to Zakarpattia.
