Northern oblasts
Kyiv
Almost a third of the victims of the russian missile attack on Kyiv on October 10 are in serious condition.
Yesterday, an exhibition dedicated to the defenders who died for Mariupol was opened on Sofia Square in Kyiv. It is dedicated to the defenders from the Azov unit of the National Guard of Ukraine, who gave their lives defending Mariupol. It consists of information tablets containing a portrait and a text about the life of the deceased. In total, there are 154 portraits on the square. During the opening ceremony, the families of the soldiers lit icon lamps in memory of their loved ones.
Kyiv Oblast
Around 7 a.m., the enemy launched a missile attack on one of the communities of the Kyiv Oblast. Critical infrastructure was affected. There were no casualties or damage. The relevant services record the consequences and circumstances of the attack. Due to this, power outages are possible throughout the oblast.
In the Kyiv Oblast, pyrotechnicians discovered and neutralized about 71,000 explosive devices. Over the past day, the pyrotechnic units cleared 16.35 hectares of the territory.
A mural depicting the Mriya aircraft was created in Hostomel. The picture with an area of 1179 square meters has elements of the Petrykivka painting style, Ukrainian cultural symbols, and the image of the aircraft.
Chernihiv Oblast
On October 14, russian troops shelled the Semenivka community. During the day, the enemy bombarded the community with 120 mm mortar shells; three explosions were recorded. At the same time, the russians dropped two explosive devices on the territory of the same community from a UAV. The shelling continued after two a.m. on October 15. The enemy fired eight shells from 120 mm mortars.
Sumy Oblast
Around 3 p.m. on October 14, the russian military fired four mortar shells on the territory of the Glukhiv community.
This morning, the russians shelled the Bilopillia and Richky communities in the Sumy Oblast.
Yesterday, near the village of Slavhorod of the Krasnopillia community, a harvester hit a mine during agricultural work. The farmer was not injured.
The government allocated 37 million hryvnias from the reserve fund of the state budget for elimination of the consequences of russian shelling in the Sumy Oblast.
Eastern oblasts
Kharkiv Oblast
Over the past day, the enemy shelled Kharkiv and some settlements of the Kharkiv, Izium, Kupiansk, and Chuhuiv raions. As a result of shelling, a private house in Vovchansk, an unused shop building in Izium, as well as non-residential and outbuildings were damaged; several fires broke out.
As a result of enemy shelling, a 66-year-old civilian was killed in the border community of the Kharkiv Raion; besides, a 74-year-old man was hospitalized with injuries in the Kupiansk Raion.
Pyrotechnic units of the State Emergency Service continue demining the territory of the oblast. During the day, 558 explosive objects were defused.
Donetsk Oblast
Civilians were killed or injured, and 26 houses were damaged as a result of russia’s military aggression in the Donetsk Oblast over the last day. The occupiers carried out 21 fire attacks. Police are recording the consequences of russian shelling in 11 settlements of the Donetsk Oblast. The cities of Avdiivka, Krasnohorivka, Bakhmut, Toretsk, the town of Ocheretyne, the villages of Druzhba, Karlivka, Lastochkyne, Maksymilianivka, Soloviove, and Khromove were affected.
On October 14, the russians killed 2 civilians of the Donetsk Oblast, specifically in Bakhmut.
In addition, 6 other civilians killed by the russians during the occupation were found in Liman.
Another 6 people were injured yesterday.
In total, since February 24, the russians have killed 1,002 civilians of the Donetsk Oblast, and wounded another 2,402. The number of victims in Mariupol and Volnovakha is currently unknown.
Kramatorsk
In the Kramatorsk sector, the russian aggressor fired mortars, tube and rocket artillery in the areas of the settlements of Verkhniokamianske, Vyshneve, Hrekivka, Hryhorivka, Zarichne, Kovalivka, Makiivka, Nadiya, Novovodiane, Olhivka, Pershotravneve, Rozdolivka, Tabaivka, Terny, and Yampolivka.
As a result, Kostyantynivka suffered the most this morning. The outbuildings of the enterprise and the former building of the dispensary were damaged in the city. Also, on the territory of the community, , the village of Oleksandro-Shultyne came under cluster shelling – a house was damaged. Fortunately, there were no casualties.
Pokrovsk and Pokrovsk Raion
As a result of shelling in the east of the Pokrovsk Raion, houses were damaged, and people were killed and wounded. The towns of Avdiivka, Krasnohorivka, Ocheretyne, the villages of Karlivka, and Maksymilianivka were affected.
The enemy used the Grad MLRS and artillery.
In Pokrovsk, they said goodbye to a defender of Ukraine, Viktor Kharchenko. A 27-year-old resident of Pokrovsk was killed on October 6 in the village of Pervomaiske while performing a combat mission. The hero was buried with military honors in his native Pokrovsk, where a blue-yellow flag will always fly over his grave.
The territorial service center of the Ministry of Internal Affairs of Ukraine resumed its work in Pokrovsk. It will provide the full range of services that local residents used to receive before the war. These include registration and re-registration of vehicles, exchange of driver’s licenses, etc. Also, here you can get approval for the transportation of dangerous goods and installation of special blue and yellow light signs on vehicles.
Events dedicated to the Day of Defenders of Ukraine were held in the educational institutions of the Pokrovsk community. Schoolchildren of the Pokrovsk community took part in flash mobs, exhibitions, quizzes, and other activities dedicated to the Day of Defenders of Ukraine and the 80th anniversary of the Ukrainian Insurgent Army.
Bakhmut
In the direction of Bakhmut, the enemy shelled such settlements as Bilohorivka, Yakovlivka, Soledar, Bakhmutske, Bakhmut, Opytne, Klishchiivka, Odradivka, Zelenopillia, Kurdiumivka, Maiorsk and New York.
The day before, there was also a shelling of Fedorivka of the Soledar community. Two people were wounded.
Mariupol
Today, the occupiers handed Azovstal over to saw up. Demining and dismantling will take years, so they decided to build anew.
Almost 1,300 high-rise buildings in Mariupol remain in a ruined state. The absolute majority of areas of the city have film or plywood instead of windows. People begin to live in the middle of the house as if they were on the street. At the same time, russian propaganda continues to feed people with promises that they will fix everything.
Yesterday, the Mariupol resistance painted the letter «Ї» right in front of the occupiers on the side of the commandant’s military truck.
Luhansk Oblast
In the Luhansk Oblast, the russians began the so-called “restoration” of hospitals, but not a single destroyed medical facility is in this list.
Yesterday, the occupiers destroyed a school with their shelling in one of the liberated villages.
The head of the Luhansk Oblast Military Administration, Serhiy Gaidai, reported that 27 soldiers of the Armed Forces of russian federation left their trenches near Kreminna, contrary to the orders of their commanders. After interviews with elements of pressure, 22 of them were arrested and taken into custody, and five returned to their positions because the command managed to intimidate them.
Defenders of the Luhansk Oblast received state awards from Volodymyr Zelenskyi. They defended Novotoshkivske, Lopaskine, Triohizbenka, Sievierodonetsk, Lysychansk, Bilohorivka.
Southern oblasts
Zaporizhzhia Oblast
Over the past day, on October 14, the russian military shelled 18 settlements in Zaporizhzhia. 68 reports were received about the destruction of houses and apartments of citizens, as well as infrastructure objects as a result of shelling by russian military personnel.
The russian invaders attacked Zaporizhzhia with 4 Shared-136 drones and 10 S-300 missiles. As a result of the morning shelling, 21 apartment buildings, 15 private sector buildings, an educational institution and a parking lot were damaged. There are no injured.
On the evening of October 14, four powerful explosions followed by detonation were recorded in the temporarily occupied Melitopol. It happened in the area of the airfield, where the russian military is once again trying to restore the military base.
In the morning summary of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, it is reported that four S-300 complexes have been destroyed in the area of Berdiansk. The destruction of personnel and equipment of the occupiers in the previous days in the Zaporizhzhia Oblast has been confirmed. Thus, as a result of the effective actions of the Defense Forces in the areas of the settlements of Orihiv, Kinski Rozdory and Tokmak, about 100 occupiers were injured. In the city of Tokmak of the Zaporizhzhia Oblast, hospitals are overcrowded due to the large number of wounded.
Kherson Oblast
Several thousand children were taken from the Kherson Oblast to the territory of russia. 500 people are taken out of the Kherson Oblast every day and placed in different regions of the aggressor country.
In Kherson, the russian military shot the conductor of the regional philharmonic orchestra in his own home because he refused to cooperate with them. The Kherson Oblast prosecutor’s office opened criminal proceedings for violating the laws and customs of war, combined with intentional murder.
In occupied Arkhangelsk of the Kherson Oblast, a local resident was killed by a russian mine in his own car. Russian military personnel who were in the village at the time did not allow local residents to approach the blown-up car.
The russians do not allow local residents of the occupied settlements of the Kherson Oblast to bury their murdered and tortured relatives in the cemetery. For this, people use the yards of their own homes.
In the temporarily occupied territory of the Kherson Oblast, the russian military robs the homes of people who left the occupation, as well as restaurants, hotels and shops. In total, the occupation authorities of the Kherson Oblast took 100 real estate objects from their legal owners.
In the South Buh direction, more than 30 settlements along the demarcation line suffered fire damage. Russian aviation has attacked the direction of Davydova Broda six times during the day. In response, Ukrainian aviation has made 13 strikes on air defense positions, control points and storage of ammunition of the russian troops.
An attempt by the russian military to carry out airstrikes on positions in the Kherson Oblast was also thwarted. The russian helicopter was destroyed. The final losses of the enemy are being investigated.
During the night, units of the Kherson anti-aircraft missile brigade shot down a russian attack helicopter (type is being specified) and a Shahed-136 kamikaze drone over the Kherson Oblast.
In the Beryslav Raion, the Southern Defense Forces destroyed another warehouse with ammunition of the russian troops. In addition, the russian army lost 18 soldiers, two howitzers “Msta-S”, two «Grad”, a self-propelled howitzer “Pion”, four pieces of equipment.
The Kherson Oblast Prosecutor’s Office suspects the professor of the department of the Kherson Maritime Academy in collaborative activities and assistance to the aggressor country. The man headed a fake high school and implemented russian education standards using russian as the official language.
In Novooleksandrivka of the Beryslav Raion, the russian military offered residents children’s military uniforms in exchange for votes in a pseudo-referendum. A large batch of mini-copies of russian army uniforms was discovered by the officers of the Security Service of Ukraine during stabilization measures in the de-occupied village. When the “bribery” did not work, the local collaborators voted themselves.
Power supply is being restored in the de-occupied settlements of the Kherson Oblast. Crews of power engineers work on the lines supplying Vysokopillia, Novovorontsovka, Osokorivka, and Nova Kaluga. Specialists removed broken wires, replaced insulators and electric pillars, reported the Kherson military administration.
400 filters for water purification were delivered to Vysokopillia. Residents of Fedorivka, Novohryhorivske, Mala Shesternia and Topolyne received one-time financial aid from the Red Cross Society in the amount of over 97 thousand hryvnias.
Mykolaiv Oblast
According to the Main Directorate of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine in Mykolaiv Oblast, rescuers completed a search operation under the rubble of a residential building hit by a russian rocket at night on October 13. Yesterday, at 2:30 p.m., they retrieved the body of the last victim. In total, the bodies of six dead people were unblocked from under the rubble. Thus, as a result of the russian attack on October 13, eight residents of Mykolaiv were killed: seven residents of the building and one rescuer who died at the boat station while on duty.
Settlements of the Berezneguvate community, located on the dividing line, remain under constant enemy fire. Yesterday, the vicinity of one of the villages was shelled. There were no casualties.
Odesa Oblast
The naval group of the russian forces in the Black Sea consists of 12 ships and boats that are maneuvering near the Crimea, hiding from the storm and the weapons of the Armed Forces of Ukraine behind Cape Tarkhankut. Three missile carriers, including one submarine, equipped with 12 cruise missiles “Caliber” are on standby.
A farewell ceremony was held in the Podilsk Raion of Odesa Oblast for two soldiers who died at the front – Serhiy Zvelindovskyi and Serhiy Naidych.
Central Oblasts
Dnipropetrovsk Oblast
At night, more than 50 enemy shells hit Nikopol city. 10 high-rise buildings and 4 private houses, commercial buildings, 2 shops, a garage cooperative, a transport company, cars, offices, a gas pipeline and an electricity network were damaged. More than 500 families were left without electricity. 2 men and 3 women were injured. No people were injured in the Marganets and Chervonogrigorivka communities. But the industrial enterprise and houses were damaged there.
In the morning, the russian occupation forces attacked the residential districts of Nikopol again. Previously, three people were injured.
Air defense forces shot down 5 kamikaze drones over Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.
While defending Ukraine, combat medic Yevhen Pogribnyi and soldier Vladyslav Velesyk from Kryvyi Rih Raion, Eduard Ivantsov from Pokrovske community, Andriy Semenov from Pavlograd, Oleksandr Petrov from Kamianske, rifle platoon commander Dmytro Lomako from Dnipro, and Oleksiy Yarlichenkov from Zhovti Vody died in the battles. A bright memory to the Heroes.
In the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, a convict who was recruited by the russian federal security service was exposed.
During the day of October 14, the pyrotechnicians neutralized more than 300 munitions in the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.
The city of Dnipro handed over 22 more trucks and pickups to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
The Ministry of Health of Ukraine and the World Bank handed over almost 400 units of modern equipment to doctors in different parts of the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. These are electrocardiographs, X-rays, mobile ultrasound diagnostic devices with high image quality.
The rescuers of the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast joined the charitable campaign “Your blood is lifesaving!”. 76 rescuers from the Dnipro, Kamianske and Kryvoriy Rih raions took part in it. Donated blood and its components will go to the rescue of injured or sick patients who need urgent help.
In Dnipro, on the Alley of Heroes, the “Thank the defenders” action was organized. It was timed to the Day of Defenders of Ukraine. The participants wrote letters to the military, made charms and drew aqua grim.
The “Caravan of Angels” charity project was launched in the “Caravan” shopping and entertainment center in Dnipro, in partnership with the Serhiy Prytula Charitable Foundation and Ukrainian artist Yulia Kosivchuk. For a donation to the Armed Forces of Ukraine, everyone will receive a talisman angel: a picture, a T-shirt or a shopping bag from the “Caravan” shopping center.
In Kryvyi Rih, students and teachers created a mural dedicated to the Ukrainian military.
Children of military personnel from the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast are invited to study for free at an IT school. The project is implemented by the IT STEP SCHOOL network. 15 million hryvnias were allocated for it.
Kirovohrad Oblast
A charitable exhibition of creative works “Invincible: strong in spirit and body” was opened in the Oleksandria Central City Library. The authors of the presented paintings and items of decorative and applied use were Olexandrian craftsmen and women. At the initiative of the artists, all funds received from the sale of works of art will be transferred to the Coordination Center of Volunteers of Oleksandria and will be used for the needs of the soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Vinnytsia Oblast
Mykola Voitko, a military man from Vinnytsia, was posthumously awarded the Order “For Courage” of the 3rd degree. The award was handed over to his wife.
The 120th Territorial Defense Brigade of the Armed Forces of the Vinnytsia Oblast received a combat flag. The flag was personally handed over by the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyi. It is awarded to units that distinguished themselves in battle.
Vinnytsia schoolchildren teach foreigners to make patriotic bracelets. For their part, they sell ready-made products, and the money will be donated to the needs of Ukrainian fighters.

Lviv Oblast
Lviv Oblast was in the top three in terms of the number of registered marriages on the Day of Defenders on October 14. 82 couples got married in the oblast.
