Dmytro Kolesnikov mobilized to the Armed Forces of Ukraine and defended Ukraine. He died defending one of the inhabited localties on the eastern borders of Ukraine.
The battalion of the Zhytomyr Air Assault Brigade received the award “For Courage and Bravery”. On November 17, 2022, President Volodymyr Zelenskyi awarded the military units of the Air Assault Forces. In particular, the 13th separate air assault battalion named after the Hero of Ukraine Colonel Taras Seniuk of the Zhytomyr 95th Brigade received the award. The russian troops made seven attacks on the border of Sumy oblast during the day. They used grenade launchers, mortars and artillery.

The occupants struck at the critical infrastructure of the region during the day. The gas industry equipment was damaged in Izium raion. During the liquidation of the consequences 8 people were injured – workers and policemen, all of them are being treated as outpatients after medical examination and assistance.
In addition, the russian troops struck at inhabited localities located near the frontline: Kupiansk, Chuhuiv, Kharkiv and Izium raions.
In the village of Kamianka, Izium raion, a 60-year-old man was hit on an explosive device, and received an explosive injury. He was hospitalized.
Pyrotechnic units continue to eliminate mines, during the day they destroyed 219 explosive devices.

The community of Oleksandriya again received sad news about the loss of our compatriot – 28-year-old Dmytro Cherepenko. Since 2016, he served under contract in the Armed Forces of Ukraine and defended the Motherland in the fight against the invaders. As a result of artillery shelling on the front line in the Donetsk Oblast, Dmytro was seriously wounded. Unfortunately, on the 17th of November, our defender’s heart stopped in a military hospital. The deceased is survived by his parents and a sister.
Another tragic news for the Company community of Kropyvnytsk raion has been confirmed. Shcherbina Anatoly, a resident of the village Dolynivka died in the war with the russian invaders. Yt also took part in an anti-terrorist operation. Together with his wife, he raised a daughter.
On the 12th of November, Liga Rostislav, a resident of Novy Starodub village of Oleksandriya district, died after receiving life-threatening injuries while performing a combat mission to protect the Motherland in Kherson Oblast.
The Onufryivka community of the Oleksandriya raion reported that defender, soldier, anti-aircraft gunner Dmytro Khomenko died on the 7th of November in the area of the settlement of Bilogorivka, Luhansk Oblast, while defending Ukrainian land from russian invaders.

Poltava Oblast
Defender Andrii Kalinichenko will say goodbye in Kremenchuk. Andriy Kalinichenko died on the 14th of November. He was a driver-electrician of the artillery division and was called up for military service on mobilization on the 27th of February.
Vyacheslav Pachenko from the city of Lubny died. From the first days of the full-scale invasion, he joined the ranks of the Armed Forces. His last birthday was on the 21st of February. Vyacheslav was only 42 years old. Died as a result of artillery shelling in Kharkiv Oblast on the 17th of June.
Two more soldiers from the Poltava Oblast died defending Ukraine. Andrii Kalinichenko was mobilized to the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine on the 27th of February. At the front, the man was an electric driver, he died on the 14th of November. Farewell to the soldier will take place tomorrow in Kremenchuk. Artem Medvedev from Poltava died in battle in Mykolaiv Oblast on the 18th of August. The 31-year-old soldier was a grenade launcher.
In Poltava, widows and mothers of fallen soldiers were given their posthumous awards. Dmytro Kaplin, Anatolii Dergai, Denyas Palia, Yuriy Khymych were posthumously awarded the Order “For Courage” of the 3rd degree by the decree of the President of Ukraine. Awards were presented to the relatives and friends of the Heroes.
