Northern Oblasts
Kyiv
Today, February 20, on the day of the mass shootings of Euromaidan protesters in 2014, a ceremony honoring the memory of the Heavenly Hundred Heroes and participants of the Revolution of Dignity was held in Kyiv.
“Kyiv 2014. The Return” is the title of the exhibition of Belgian photographer Jim Siumkay, which was opened in the capital on the Day of the Heavenly Hundred Heroes. 10 years ago, at the height of the Maidan, the Belgian photographer came to Kyiv to document the events.
Alain Berset, one of the candidates for the post of Secretary General of the Council of Europe, arrived in Kyiv. He is also a former president of Switzerland. The focus of this visit is the role of the Council of Europe in supporting Ukraine against russian aggression.
In Kyiv, a new medical development was presented to save wounded soldiers: mobile stabilization containers STABNET, equipped with modern technologies. French volunteers helped to purchase the necessary medical equipment.
Chernihiv Oblast
Russian troops shelled 11 villages on the border of Chernihiv Oblast.
Law enforcement officers helped a family evacuate from a border village under russian shelling. The couple and their 90-year-old mother left Leonivka for the Kulykivka community. Their belongings were loaded onto a truck and escorted to a new home in a safe community.
Sumy Oblast
On February 19, the russian army shelled the Nova Sloboda community in Sumy Oblast, injuring 4 people. Also, in the late evening, the russian army shelled the civilian infrastructure of the Velyka Pysarivka community in Okhtyrka raion. The property of the farm was damaged – agricultural machinery and a car. In total, over the yesterday, russian troops fired at 30 settlements along the border.
At night and in the morning, the russian army shelled five communities in Sumy Oblast. 39 explosions were recorded.
Today at 5:00 am, a russian drone with explosives hit a residential building in the Nova Sloboda community in Konotop raion. A family of five lived there. All of them were killed.
Eastern Oblasts
Kharkiv Oblast
A 65-year-old man died as a result of the shelling of Zybyne in the Vovchansk community. Eight settlements in Kharkiv Oblast were hit by russian air strikes during the day. Near Synkivka, russians tried to advance four times.
Twice in one day, russians hit one house in Vilkhuvatka. A 74-year-old woman was found under the rubble. She was transported in a fire truck to meet an emergency medical team.
In the Lyman-Kupyansk sector, 642 attacks were registered yesterday. Ukrainian troops were wounded by FPV drones, heavy artillery, mortars and grenade launchers. Over the yesterday, enemies launched 25 drone strikes against Ukrainian positions.
In Kharkiv Oblast last night, air defense forces shot down enemy drones.
Donetsk Oblast
Ukrainian troops repelled 51 russian attacks in the Lyman, Bakhmut, Avdiivka, Novopavlivka and Maryinka sectors on February 19. Most of the attacks were conducted in the Mariinka sector.
Kramatorsk and Kramatorsk Raion
Yesterday, the russian military shelled Mykolayivka and Ivanopillia of the Kostiantynivka community with “Smerch” systems and damaged 11 houses. Illinivka also came under fire, where one private house was destroyed.
Pokrovsk and Pokrovsk Raion
The 110th Brigade confirmed that several seriously wounded and killed soldiers could not be evacuated during the retreat from the “Zenit” position in Avdiivka. Due to the complete encirclement, it was decided to contact the coordination center that is negotiating with russia on the exchange of prisoners. The russian side said that they agreed to evacuate the wounded and provide them with medical assistance, and later to exchange them. Later, a video of the shooting of six Ukrainian soldiers was posted online.

Mykolaiv Oblast
Over the past 24 hours, the russian army attacked the coastal communities of Mykolaiv Oblast four times. In the sky over the region, the Defense Forces destroyed a russian attack drone.
Zaporizhzhia Oblast
The russian army launched 453 strikes on 19 towns and villages in Zaporizhzhia Oblast over the course of a day on February 19.
11 attacks by the russian army near Malynivka and Robotyno in Zaporizhzhia Oblast were repelled by the defense forces yesterday. In the Zaporizhzhia sector, the russian military resumed the use of poisonous substances: they are throwing grenades with tear gas and suffocating agents.
Odesa Oblast
Yesterday, a car of the Ukrainian Volunteer Army exploded in the suburbs of Odesa. The Kruchynin couple was in it, and doctors are now fighting for their lives. The priority version is a terrorist attack by enemy sabotage and reconnaissance groups.
Kherson Oblast
During the day, russian troops shelled the Kherson Oblast 43 times with artillery, mortars, anti-aircraft guns, tanks and anti-aircraft fire. They hit the residential quarters, aimed at the point of invincibility in the Beryslav raion. Two people are injured.
Air defense units shot down a “Shahed-131” drone in the sky over the Kherson Oblast during another drone attack by the russian army.
On the night of February 20, the russian army hit Bilozerka with multiple rocket launchers. Kindergarten and school were damaged. The russian military also fired mortars at a kindergarten in the Tyagyne community.

Dnipropetrovsk Oblast
On the night of February 20, two drones of the russian army were shot down over the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast in the Sinelniki and Dnipro raions. Three summer houses and two cars were damaged by the debris.

At night, in the Kremenchuk raion,the russian military fired drones at an industrial facility. There were no casualties or injuries. The fire was extinguished.
