Kyiv
In Kyiv educational institutions, the russian language will be removed from the school curriculum. Teaching in russian was also banned.

The coat of arms from the shield of the Motherland Monument will be removed next year. On the same occasion, there will be a competition for the Trident project, which will replace the old coat of arms.

In Kyiv Oblast, many youth centers have become centers of assistance for those affected by the war.
The police detained two looters – a 45-year-old man and his 30-year-old accomplice, who robbed pawnshops in Bucha during the attack of the invaders. The total cost of the stolen property is almost 800 thousand hryvnias.
Pyrotechnicians inspected 5 campuses in Pushcha-Vodytsia for the presence of explosive objects. They completed 18 field visits and surveyed the territories of 2 preschool and 3 general education institutions with a total area of 12.8 hectares.
Zhytomyr Oblast
Residents of Zhytomyr collected money for the Armed Forces of Ukraine and trained outdoors – Ukrainian boxer Denys Berinchyk visited the city.
The townspeople paid their final respects to the defender who fell for Ukraine. Oleh Anatoliyovych Tishchenko returned home defeated. He was buried at the Smolyanske city military cemetery.
Volunteers are now trying to draw people’s attention to the needs of the military in various ways. Artem Sokhatsky from Zhytomyr decided to hold charity lotteries and auctions with interesting things. Nowadays, the guy collects the T-shirts of famous football players and will put them up for auction.

Chernihiv Oblast
Over the course of yesterday, the russians shelled Semenivka Raion. In the morning, the enemy fired artillery shells for an hour from the russian village of Kurkovichi. 40 explosions were registered.
Today, near the village of Yahidne, bomb disposal technicians neutralized ammunition by detonation.
Sumy Oblast
On August 12, around 7 a.m., the russian military shelled the Esman hromada in Sumy Oblast. There were also shelling of Yunakivka and Khotin hromadas. The circumstances are being specified.
In Sumy Oblast, the Minister of Internal Affairs, Denys Monastyrskyi, presented state awards to the best police officers, National Guardsmen, border guards, and employees of the State Emergency Service.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine conducted military training and exercises on the territory of Sumy district.
The city authorities reported that there were no victims despite the large number of russian shelling and demining of Sumy Oblast. Currently, Sumy Oblast is the most mined among the de-occupied territories.

Eastern Oblasts
Kharkiv Oblast
Last night, the russians launched rocket attacks on Kharkiv. 4 rockets were launched from Belgorod at once.
Around 3 a.m., 2 rockets hit an educational institution in the Slobidskyi raion. The canteen and vegetable warehouses were damaged.
At the same time, in the Novobavarskyi raion, a rocket hit the road next to the administrative building. Shrapnel damaged the facade. The arrival of another rocket was recorded in the Kyiv region.
Also, this night, occupier strikes were recorded in Tsirkuny and between Tsirkuny and Cherkassy Tyshky in the Kharkiv district.
During the past day, the occupiers shelled the Chuguyiv, Kharkiv, Izyum and Loziv raions.
During the day, civilians were injured in Kharkiv, Kupyansk and Bogodukhiv raions: 2 wounded in Tsirkuny – a 58-year-old woman and a 62-year-old man, their condition is moderate. A 62-year-old man received minor injuries in the Dergachi community. In the Kupyansk raion, a 54-year-old tractor driver was blown up by a mine, his condition is moderate. A 23-year-old man was injured, and a 51-year-old woman died in the Zolochiv community.
Fighting continues on the front lines. Our defenders hold their ground and hit back.
Donetsk Oblast
Last night the russians fired missiles at Kurakhove. They hit a two-story residential building in the center of the city, damaged private houses and the Center for Culture and Leisure, where forcibly displaced people spent the night. None of them was injured. Fires broke out in the city due to shelling, and their residents were trapped under the rubble of destroyed buildings. At present, it was possible to rescue a woman from under the rubble and raise the bodies of two dead men to the surface.
The enemy is trying to make up for the loss of personnel and equipment.
In the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy shelled Siversk, Hryhorivka, Serebryanka, and Verkhnokamyanske raions with barrel and jet artillery.
An offensive was led in the direction of the settlements of Verkhnokamianske and Ivano-Daryivka, the enemy had no success, and withdrew his forces.
As a result of the offensive in the direction of Horlivka – Zaitseve, the enemy was partially successful.
The enemy waged offensive battles in the direction of the settlements of Vyimka, Bakhmut, Vesela Dolyna and Kodema, had no success, and retreated. After regrouping, he resumed the attack on Codema. Fighting continues.
In the Avdiivka direction, artillery shelling was recorded near Vodyanyi, Oleksandropol, Avdiivka and Pisky. The enemy carried out airstrikes near Mariinka and Vodyanyi.
The occupiers tried to conduct offensive battles in the districts of Spartak and Mariinka, they failed, and retreated. Fighting continues near the village of Pisky.
On August 11, the russians killed 7 civilians of Donetsk region: 3 in Bakhmut, 2 in Kurakhovo, 1 in Mariinka and 1 in Avdiivka. Another 14 people were injured.
Since February 24, the russians have killed 723 civilians of Donetsk oblast, wounded another 1,845.
Kramatorsk
Kramatorsk survived 11 rocket attacks last night. The Russians attacked the private sector, according to preliminary information, they damaged three residential buildings. There are no victims or injured.
Cherevkivka microdistrict was under attack in Slovyansk. Several houses were destroyed, 2 cars were burnt. There are no victims.
On the Great Martyr Panteleimon Day, 23 of the best doctors of Ukraine were awarded the Order of Saint Panteleimon. This year, the award has only one nomination – “For selfless service to the Ukrainian people, courage and steadfastness in the fight for the health of Ukrainians, for the freedom and independence of Ukraine in the war with the russian aggressor.” In particular, the “Order of Saint Panteleimon” was awarded to Oleksiy Yakovlenko – general director of the communal non-profit enterprise “City Hospital No. 3” of the Kramatorsk City Council. He ensured stable functioning of the hospital during the war: he established cooperation with medical military units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, military hospitals of Lysychansk, Druzhkivka, and Bakhmut. He also established contacts with the Romodanov Institute of Neurosurgery (Kyiv), thanks to which neurosurgeons and anaesthesiologists of the institute provide high-quality professional care on the basis of the municipal non-profit enterprise “City Hospital No. 3” of the Kramatorsk City Council.
The situation in the city remains alarming. Kramatorsk residents leave the war zone to Kirovohrad oblast. Free evacuation takes place along the route: Kramatorsk-Pokrovsk-Olexandria-Kropivnytskyi. For evacuation, it is necessary to apply for the hotline number: +38 050 544 86 92 or +38 099 415 65 54 (for Kramatorsk); +38 098 890 33 18 (for all communities).
The coordinators of the All-Ukrainian Initiative “Active Community” met the humanitarian cargo from friendly Poland. Among all the useful things – children’s sweets, which will be able to lift the mood of children.
Pokrovsk and Pokrovsk Raion
The villages of Zhelanne, Ocheretyne, Karlivka, Memryk, Novozhelanne, and Novomykolaivka were covered by enemy fire. The occupying forces hit with rockets, S-300 air defense systems, Grad, Uragan multiple rocket systems, artillery, and tanks.
The past day in the Pokrovsk community was relatively calm. There are no facts about the victims and destruction for the past 24 hours.
In Pokrovsk, the Red Cross distributes 35 tons of humanitarian aid:
Representatives of the international medical humanitarian organization “Doctors Without Borders” visited Mirnograd. At the meeting, the most acute problems faced by the Myrnograd community were discussed: ensuring the working conditions of medical staff and hospital patients during the 2022/2023 heating season; alternative water supply of the city hospital; the work of social services under martial law.
Bakhmut
In the Bakhmut direction, the enemy fired from tanks and artillery near Pereizny, Vesely, Bakhmut, Soledar, Vershina and Kurdyumivka. Used aviation near Vyimka, Ivano-Daryivka, Spirnyi, Yakovlivka, Soledar and Bakhmutskyi.
Mariupol
The occupiers are in a hurry before August 24 and finally turn the Chamber Philharmonic into a prison. They are setting up a special bunker to which Ukrainian prisoners will be brought.
The reconstruction of Mariupol has almost stopped. Debris removal has been stopped, construction has not started, the restoration of electricity and water supply is making almost no progress. This is the situation throughout the city.

The Kreminna city military administration informs that persons who have moved from the territory of the Kreminna community to safe regions of Ukraine as a result of the russian invasion have the opportunity to receive humanitarian aid (food products) via Ukrposhta mail. Southern Oblasts
Kherson Oblast
In the Kherson Oblast, the russian military shelled three settlements during the day. There are wounded and a lot of destruction. The occupiers continue to loot and kidnap people.
Near the villages of Posad-Pokrovske, Petropavlivka, Chornobayivka, Stepanivka, and in the cities of Kherson, Nova Kakhovka and Beryslav, the russian military captured and destroyed 11 gas stations. The owner of the gas station suffered millions in damages.
During that night, the missile and artillery units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed 11 russian soldiers and an ammunition depot near the village of Vesele in the Kherson Oblast. The losses are being investigated, reports the Operational Command “South”.
Skadovsk
The Security Service of Ukraine suspected Tetyana Kalinovska of aiding the aggressor state. She assumed the position of “deputy” of the fake “head of the Skadovsk administration”. Previously, Tetyana Kalinovska was informed about the suspicion of collaborative activities.
Mykolaiv Oblast
Yesterday morning, a fire broke out in a residential building in the Korabelnyi district of Mykolaiv city due to enemy shelling. There are no victims.
Also, yesterday afternoon, as a result of the fall of ammunition and their fragments, coniferous litter and dry grass caught fire in the Balabanivka forest tract.
The Shevchenkove community is under constant shelling. Yesterday afternoon, as a result of shelling in the village of Zorya, two residential buildings were destroyed. Shells also hit the outskirts of the village of Olenivka. There are no victims.
Yesterday at 8:30 p.m. the villages of Kostyantynivka and Novomykolaivka (Pervomayska community) were under fire.
This morning at 05:20 shelling was recorded on the outskirts of the village of Parutyne (Kutsurub community).
Shelling of the Berezneguvate community continues. Thus, during the past day, the villages of Lepetykha and Kavkaz were shelled again. In the evening, a woman died as a result of shelling in the village of Berezneguvate. Residential buildings were also damaged.
Yesterday around 18:00 there was shelling outside the villages of Shyroke and Polyana (Shyroke community). As a result, residential buildings were damaged. Also, on the night of August 12, around 1:00 a.m., there was shelling outside the settlements on the territory of the entire community.
Central Oblasts
Dnipropetrovsk Oblast
Enemies directed 40 shells from the “Grad” multiple rocket launcher systems at Marhanets. Three residents were injured: a 12-year-old boy and two men aged 66 and 49. Two more were hospitalized. A gas pipeline was burning on one of the streets. A wall from the 3rd to the 5th floor of a residential building was destroyed. 4 high-rise buildings, 2 private houses, 2 garages and an outbuilding were damaged. A factory, cafe, 2 shops and a printing house were destroyed.
10 shots from barrel artillery were fired at Nikopol. 4 private houses and 1 car were damaged.
The russians hit the “Uragan” multiple rocket launcher systems in the Kryvyi Rih raion. There were strikes on the Zelenodolsk community. There is destruction of houses.
For Kostya Krasnov, an 18-year-old artist with autism, drawing is his favorite pastime. Now, with the help of his hobby, the young man helps the military. He sells self-painted eco-bags to buy bulletproof vests. In general, the artist has already managed to collect more than 120,000 hryvnias. Kostya bought 29 bulletproof vests. Another almost 10,000 hryvnias were given to volunteers for the purchase of medicines.
A friendly football tournament was held in Dnipro. The national teams of Dnipropetrovsk, Kharkiv, Donetsk and Luhansk Oblasts met on the field. The sports competition was organized for the Youth Day.
