Northern oblasts
Kyiv Oblast
A modular town was opened in Irpin. These are 88 four-person residential modules equipped with all the amenities necessary for life. They will serve as temporary homes for the residents of Irpin, who were left homeless because of the russians.
Zhytomyr Oblast
500 tactical first-aid kits and a thousand tourniquets were transferred to the 95th detached air assault brigade. These medical products are made according to the NATO standards. This was reported by Zhytomyr City Mayor Serhiy Sukhomlin.
In Zhytomyr, they accompanied two fallen defenders of Ukraine, Vyacheslav Usenko and Bohdan Kozachok, on their final journey.
Patrolmen continue to identify supporters of the russian federation and violators of martial law.
At one of the checkpoints, law enforcement officers stopped a car, the driver of which, during the check and passing through the checkpoint, filmed everything on video, which is currently strictly forbidden to do. Patrol officers called the investigation task force to the scene.
Employees of the tactical and operational response (TOR) unit (tactical police) detained a woman who behaved aggressively and refused to provide documents for her identity verification. The detainee had a copy of the russian federation passport. The woman was handed over to the Security Service of Ukraine.

Chernihiv Oblast
Over the past day, the enemy five times shelled the territory of the Chernihiv Oblast. It was reported about five explosions of tube artillery shells in the area of the settlement of Hirsk of the Snovsk territorial community of the Chernihiv Oblast.
Sumy Oblast
On August 13, the russian army shelled 8 communities of the Sumy Oblast: Shalyhyne, Khotyn, Bilopillia, Znob-Novhorodske, Esman, Novoslobidske, Buryn, and Velykopysarivka. The population was not affected. Civil facilities were damaged in the Khotyn community (the village of Bilovody). Also, in Novoslobidske community (the village of Manukhivka), a power line was damaged.
At around 6 a.m. today, the russians shelled the Yunakivka community in the Sumy Oblast with mortars. People were not injured, and no destruction was inflicted.
Eastern oblasts
Kharkiv Oblast
Yesterday, after 6 p.m., the occupiers shelled civilian infrastructure with incendiary ammunition in the Kyivskyi district of Kharkiv. The roofs of outbuildings were on fire. There were no casualties.
In the oblast at night, the Defense Headquarters recorded missile launches from the territory of the russian federation. About 1 o’clock, the russians attacked Slobozhanske. 3 residents were wounded: a 27-year-old man and 38- and 74-year-old women. Their condition is mild.
Surrounding houses and also cars were damaged. One of the missiles hit a critical infrastructure facility.
Over the past day, the invaders attacked the Bohodukhiv, Chuhuiv, and Kharkiv raions. The russians repeatedly shelled Tsyrkuny: houses, garages, outbuildings were on fire.
Today, the russian occupation army attacked Zolochiv, Kharkiv Oblast. A private house and outbuildings of Zolochiv Lyceum No. 2 were damaged. The police of the Kharkiv Oblast specified that the technical workshop of the lyceum and the dining room were damaged.
Donetsk Oblast
In the Donetsk sector, the enemy fired at our units from tanks, tube and rocket artillery. With the purpose of reconnaissance of the logistics support routes and critical infrastructure facilities, the UAV conducted aerial reconnaissance.
In the Kramatorsk sector, the russian occupiers launched airstrikes near Spirne. They made an attempt to conduct offensive reconnaissance in the Serebrianka area, but met with heavy fire from Ukrainian soldiers and fled. The enemy tried to improve its tactical position in the vicinity of Spirne with assault actions, but had no success and retreated. Fighting continues in the Ivano-Daryivka area.
In the Avdiivka sector, in addition to shelling a number of settlements with artillery, the occupiers launched airstrikes near Maryinka. The enemy continued the aerial reconnaissance with the help of UAVs. The russians led assault operations in the direction of Krasnohorivka and Pisky, had no success and withdrew. Hostilities continue in the area of the settlement of Pervomaiske.
On August 13, the russians killed 2 civilians of the Donetsk Oblast, namely in Krasnohorivka. Another 10 people were wounded.
Since February 24, the russians have killed 730 civilians of the Donetsk Oblast, and wounded another 1,890.
Pokrovsk and Pokrovsk Raion
The past day in the Pokrovsk community was relatively quiet.
Public utilities of Pokrovsk eliminate the consequences of the damage caused at about two o’clock in the morning by the enemy shelling of the village of Sribne – one of the elders’ districts of the Pokrovsk community. 10 private houses, a school building, a shop, a club, and the power grid were damaged.
Drinking water is freely available: treatment plants provided by French partners are starting to operate in the city.
Bakhmut
In the Bakhmut sector, the enemy fired artillery and tanks at the civilian infrastructure of settlements and the positions of the defense forces. The invaders launched airstrikes in the Soledar and Vesela Dolyna areas. They conducted aerial reconnaissance, using UAVs of the operational-tactical level. The enemy also made an attempt to conduct offensive reconnaissance near Soledar, was met by heavy fire and fled. The russians led offensive operations in the Zaitseve area, had no success and withdrew. The fighting continues.
Mariupol
Yesterday there was an explosion in Mariupol. The place of the explosion is the area of Slag Mountain, where a scrap metal collection point was set up. The reason is the detonation of an abandoned aircraft bomb.
A new list of the Mariupol buildings subject to demolition was distributed on social networks. This was reported by Petro Andriushchenko, adviser to the Mariupol mayor. He added that this list contained some surviving houses, but a number of completely destroyed ones were not included therein.
Luhansk Oblast
In the temporarily occupied Luhansk Oblast, the russians are urging even those who lost their homes due to hostilities to come to the “referendum”. In particular, in Svatove, “high-ranking officials from the russian federation” encouraged refugees to take part in the “referendum”, in return they promised to resolve all their problematic issues. This was announced by Serhii Haidai, the head of the Luhansk Oblast Military Administration.
Residents of the temporarily occupied Luhansk Oblast write on social networks about the increase in prices for all goods – food products and manufactured goods. According to the estimates of residents of non-controlled territories, food prices have risen by 10-20% on average, and household chemicals have increased in value the most. In some cities, for example, shampoos are sold at a price 4-5 times higher than in early February.
Southern regions
Kherson Oblast
At night, the Armed Forces of Ukraine struck the Antonivskyi road bridge, which connects the right and left banks of the Kherson oblast. The strike was made in order to establish the status of the bridge as impassable.
In Kherson, the russian military robbed the apartment of the rector of the Kherson State Agrarian and Economic University Yuriy Kyrylov. The Deputy Chairman of the Kherson Regional Council Yuriy Sobolevskyi wrote on his page that such searches in the apartments and homes of Kherson residents who left the occupation are a reason for their robbery.
In the Novovorontsov Territorial Community of the Kherson Oblast, former employees of the REN are repairing power lines that were damaged as a result of shelling by the Russian military on their own without any help.
Mykolayiv Oblast
Yesterday evening, the port infrastructure of Mykolaiv was attacked with three rockets of the Uragan salvo fire system. No casualties.
Also in the evening, around 20:00, Mykolaiv was shelled. Six rockets of the “Smerch” salvo fire system hit the residential quarters and industrial facilities of the city.
Yesterday evening, at approximately 8:12 p.m., enemy shelling of the Pervomaysk community of Pervomaisk was recorded. As a result, a shop and a residential building were damaged. There are no casualties.
Several buildings were damaged, one civilian was injured.
At night, August 14th, around 02:00 a.m, the enemy again shelled the regional center. Also, as a result of the night shelling of the village of Halytsynov of the Halytsynov community, economic buildings were damaged. There are no casualties.
Yesterday, the village of Shiroke of the Shirokiv community was shelled. Three residential buildings and the stadium were damaged. Around 2:00 p.m., the shelling was outside the village of Polyana. Around 7:00 p.m. there was shelling outside the villages of Chervona Dolyna and Polyana. Today around 03:30 a.m. there was shelling on the agricultural buildings of the village of Shiroke.
Shelling of the territory and nearby settlements of the Berezneguvat community continues. So, during the past day, the territories of the village of Berezneguvate, the villages of Lepetykha and Kavkaz were shelled.
Odesa Oblast
The day in the community passed peacefully. The danger of rocket attacks remains.
The Public Relations Service of the Southern Air Command reported that yesterday, August 13th, around 1:00 p.m. in the sky over Odesa, soldiers of the anti-aircraft missile unit of the Southern Air Command destroyed another russian Orlan-10 unmanned aerial vehicle, which was trying to conduct air intelligence.
A charity game was held at the training base between the teams of the Odesa City Council and the Odesa Regional Council on the initiative of the Chornomorets football club. The event participants collected 100 thousand hryvnias for the needs of the army. Also, the management of the Chornomorets stadium – the ALLRISE CAPITAL INC company handed over 25 life jackets to the defenders. The game itself turned out to be spectacular and effective. Kyrylo Kovalchuk strengthened the city council, and Oleksiy Antonov – the regional council.
As part of the charity project “Childhood 2022” in the Summer Theater, children turned war paraphernalia into wonderful flower pots. Young Odessans added colors, painting helmets with their favorite colors, emotions, and impressions. The process itself is liberation from negativity, a resource for new impressions, and the result is the transformation of a negative helmet, which has already become a symbol of war, into positive vases that will continue to delight the eyes of Odessans in the future, giving them hope for a bright future.

Central regions
Dnipropetrovsk Oblast
In Nikopol, there were 20 approaches from barrel artillery. The occupiers targeted 9 high-rise and 8 private houses, a school, a cafe, and a shop. Gas pipelines and power lines were cut. Several thousand residents were left without electricity.
The enemy was attacking Marhanets from Grad. The city was covered by 30 rockets. A 69-year-old man was injured. He is in the hospital. In the city, 11 private houses, 4 farm buildings, a car, and the power grid were damaged.
The Kryvyi Rih district came under fire from the “Uragan”. The aggressor targeted the Zelenodol community.
Kirovohrad Oblast
The day in the community passed calmly, without air sirens. The situation in the communities of the region is calm and under control.
Sad news came from the front. Mykola Sydorov, defender of Ukraine from the Dolyna community, died. He died on August 9, 2022 in battles with the russian occupiers while performing a combat mission.
A bust of Maxim Gorky was dismantled on the territory of general educational institution No. 2 in the city of Alexandria. The works were carried out by the utility company “Clean City” in accordance with the decision of the city council. This is the second dismantled monument in recent times. A week before, the memorial plaques in the square near the Oleksandriysk Theater were demolished.
The coordinator of the Ukrainian Initiative “Active Community” worked at the Humanitarian Center named after St. Nicholas the Wonderworker, greeted people with the Savior of the Honey Feast Day, and helped citizens receive food packages.
Poltava Oblast
The police of the Poltava region seized automatic weapons and ammunition from a cache in the forest. One of the residents of Koteliv region told about the shelter yesterday. Thanks to this, 5 Kalashnikov assault rifles, 1 machine gun, 2 pistols, about 20 grenades and fuses for them, as well as cartridges for automatic weapons, were seized from illegal circulation.
With the joint assistance of the leaders of the Poltava Regional Military Administration, training was held for the personnel of the ground defense battalions and the volunteer formations of the Poltava territorial defense regarding mining and demining of territories. In addition, some military equipment was presented during the exercises. This will improve the military’s understanding of the need for such equipment, as well as improve the performance of combat tasks in practice.
The girl from Poltava travels in Ireland with concerts of Ukrainian music. Kateryna Gavrilova was able to raise funds for a mobile speaker and a microphone and sings Ukrainian songs.
In exchange for a donation, she offers vocal or piano lessons, a recording of a song, and a song as a gift. Tetyana Gerasimova, a bandura player and vocalist is playing in a duet with her.
The team of the Ukrainian Initiative “Active Community” of Poltava organizes and conducts the Ukrainian conversational club “Ukrainian above all!” every week. Another online meeting took place this morning, which was attended by 7 women who want to learn or improve the Ukrainian language.

Western Oblasts
Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast
The situation in Prykarpattya is stable and under control.
With the funds of the state budget and with the support of the President of Ukraine and the Ministry of Health of Ukraine, mobile X-ray machines were purchased for 3 hospitals of the oblast. They will be used for non-transportable patients. The need for medical equipment is acute, because Prykarpattya reliably holds the rear, and a large number of those in need of medical assistance are concentrated here.
The Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast Center for Disease Control and Prevention of the Ministry of Health of Ukraine published information that on August 13, the radiation background indicator in the Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast was from 0.10 to 0.12 μSv/h. This is at a threshold value of 0.32 μSv/h.
Volunteers continue to work actively. The Support Fund of the Mountain Assault Brigade “Edelweiss” handed over a bath and laundry complex to the soldiers. The owners and employees of one of the workshops, which specializes in the repair of household appliances and the sale of used appliances from Europe, helped to create this complex. A mobile bath and laundry complex is very necessary in war. Thanks to its mobility and functionality, this complex will help soldiers take a shower, wash and dry their clothes in the field.
Rivne Oblast
The general situation is relatively calm, there were no air alarms as of 16:50.
The employees of the Goshchan Cultural Center produced almost 1,500 gauze bandages, 300 bags for individual tactical first-aid kits and several for large ones. And today they sew unloading vests of military equipment. Volunteers help with fabric, threads and accessories. The entire team works on the products: the women sew, and the men straighten and burn the ribbons on the vests. IDPs also help them. The women workers consulted with the military about what the unloading vest should be. 10 people work on the production of one product: 3 are engaged in patterns, and 7 are sewing.
Residents of Rivne are urged to unfurl blue and yellow flags en masse for Flag Day. This is an initiative of the mayor of the Rivne community.
Khmelnytskyi Oblast
Kamianets-Podilskyi
The mayor held another meeting of the coordination council on preparation for the autumn-winter period during martial law. Clear tasks have been set for managers of various industries and units to have action algorithms, how to provide the community with water, heat and everything necessary in a critical situation. Specialists in the fields of gas, water, and electricity supply were involved, and already today they presented plans and preliminary needs. This means that in order to prepare for such situations, the city council must allocate significant funding. After all, this concerns special expensive equipment: mobile mobile boiler rooms, powerful generators, a reserve of fuel and lubricants, emergency supplies of pipes.
The Kamianets-Podilskyi community received a letter of thanks from the commander of one of the military units for significant assistance to the Armed Forces of Ukraine.
Charismatic TV presenter, blogger, musician, cook and volunteer Serhiy Podveza held his solo concert in Kamianets-Podilskyi. The author used harsh trolling of russians, which he conveyed through his own covers of famous hits and witty stand-up.
The military asked the coordinators of AUI “Active Community” for help. They needed flashlights for Kevlar helmets. The coordinators found two lanterns and sent them as intended.
