The one hundred and twenty-ninth day of the heroic resistance of the Ukrainian nation to the russian military invasion continues.
About us: The “Active Community” initiative was launched by activists of the “Republika” Institute after the Euromaidan (2014), which focused on the activation and involvement of Ukrainians in the decision-making process. The goal for 2025: to activate and involve at least 1% of citizens in making decisions and promoting reforms in Ukraine on a systematic basis for the well-being of Ukrainian communities. Today we work in 30 communities in Ukraine.

Pablo Gana Quesada, Chargé d’Affaires of Spain in Ukraine, and Javier Fuentes Leja, Counselor of the Spanish Embassy, visited Irpin. The Spaniards came to Irpen with a specific goal – to collect as much information as possible about the destroyed objects, to study the needs of the city for help in its restoration. Mobile information centers continued their work this week. People were consulted in Borodyanka, Dymer and Gostomel. Specialists provided explanations to the residents of the communities regarding topical issues. Most often, people need advice on the correct processing of compensation for destroyed or lost property, receiving social benefits, on the algorithm for the restoration and reconstruction of the housing stock, the registration procedure, the deployment of modular towns and obtaining a place in them for temporary residence.
Demining continues. Over the past day, pyrotechnicians neutralized 351 explosive objects. And for the entire time – almost 48 thousand such items.
A beaten and mined dog was found near Makarov. He was lying in a pit with garbage, the zoo patrol said. People wanted to take it out, but they noticed a mine nearby.
