The one hundred and twenty-ninth day of the heroic resistance of the Ukrainian nation to the russian military invasion continues.
About us: The “Active Community” initiative was launched by activists of the “Republika” Institute after the Euromaidan (2014), which focused on the activation and involvement of Ukrainians in the decision-making process. The goal for 2025: to activate and involve at least 1% of citizens in making decisions and promoting reforms in Ukraine on a systematic basis for the well-being of Ukrainian communities. Today we work in 30 communities in Ukraine.

The Spaniards came to Irpen with a specific goal – to collect as much information as possible about the destroyed objects, to study the needs of the city for help in its restoration. Mobile information centers continued their work this week. People were consulted in Borodyanka, Dymer and Gostomel. Specialists provided explanations to the residents of the communities regarding topical issues. Most often, people need advice on the correct processing of compensation for destroyed or lost property, receiving social benefits, on the algorithm for the restoration and reconstruction of the housing stock, the registration procedure, the deployment of modular towns and obtaining a place in them for temporary residence.

Private houses in the villages are burning one after the other, very high density of shelling. Burns simultaneously in several places. Rescuers barely have time to put out large-scale fires in Lysychansk. Like in an apartment building, where the flames spread to several apartments. Or in the shopping center – if the fire on the area of 1,800 square meters was not extinguished in time, it is difficult to imagine the consequences.
