A center of comprehensive support for IDPs “I am Mariupol” opened in Kyiv.

The Prime Minister of Finland Sanna Marin visited Irpin and Bucha. The foreign delegation visited tragic places where the russian army committed genocide against civilian Ukrainians. I saw with my own eyes the civilian houses destroyed by the russian occupiers. Irpin authorities discussed with the Prime Minister the issue of assistance in rebuilding the city.

Donetsk Oblast

During the past 24hrs, ten enemy attacks were repulsed in Donetsk and Luhansk, four tanks, two artillery systems, an armored personnel carrier, a car and one unit of special equipment were destroyed. Air defense units destroyed five Orlan-10 UAVs.

The enemy advanced in the area of Pokrovsky and Klinov near Bakhmut.

Russian troops entered Liman, the city is fighting.

The main reason for the enemy advancing is a great advantage in the amount of weapons and ammunition.

Russian troops maneuver freely along the front and have the ability to withdraw troops from other areas not attacked by them in order to concentrate forces in areas where they want to advance. The enemy is also tired and no longer uses large-scale attacks, trying to solve tactical tasks by concentrating artillery and air strikes.

Ukrainian soldiers in the Donbas are making every effort to defeat russian strike groups and thwart russian troops’ plans. Russian troops suffer heavy losses.

Since the beginning of the large-scale Russian invasion of Ukraine, 431 civilians have been killed and 1,168 wounded in shelling and bombing in the Donetsk Oblast.

On May 25, the russians killed four more civilians in the Donetsk Oblast: 2 in the Lyman, 1 in Sidorovo, and 1 in Berestovo. Another 12 people were injured.

Kramatorsk

No enemy activities have been recorded in the city so far.

Kramatorsk residents can buy bread in the city’s chain stores with their bakeries. Large bread-producing enterprises in this area have stopped working due to the cessation of gas supplies in Donetsk Oblast. The main junction used to supply gas to the community is in Luhansk Oblast. Currently, this junction is occupied by russians and the gas supply through it is stopped. The reserve junction unit was damaged in April as a result of hostilities. The company is unable to begin repair works due to constant shelling by the russian army.

More and more people are seeking humanitarian aid. They need hygiene products and medicine. The more expensive the fuel is, the more difficult it is to deliver these products to the city. Medicine is delivered only to central pharmacies. Village residents are almost cut off from access to medicine.

The situation in the community remains alarming.

The AUI “Active Community” coordinator negotiated with family doctors, pharmacists and nurses to distribute humanitarian aid, particularly medicine bought by the “Active Community” members. Given the principle of “do no harm”, all work in this direction is possible only in close cooperation with family doctors and in the presence of qualified specialists.

Pokrovsk and Pokrovsk Raion

In the Avdiivka direction, the occupiers attacked the territories of Krasnohorivka, Kamyanka, Avdiivka and Pisky, but their attempts were unsuccessful.

This case has been discussed today at a joint briefing of rescuers and community leaders. As a result of today’s shelling of Pokrovsk, railway infrastructure facilities, 14 apartment buildings, about 50 private sector residential buildings, and one physical culture and sports facility were damaged. There were also 20 damages caused to private business facilities. All injured civilians were railway workers. There is one wounded person in a very serious condition, and two people with neurogenic shock are undergoing rehabilitation in the neurological department. Two more wounded were sent to outpatient treatment after receiving first aid. According to preliminary data from the Donetsk Oblast prosecutor’s office, the russians used a short-range ballistic missile system Iskander to shell the city.

Bakhmut

The russian occupation troops continue to attack the territory of Bakhmut, from the village of Klynove located in the south of Bakhmut to the village of Berestove located in the north of Bakhmut. The attack is very slow due to the resistance of Ukrainian troops, but the russians slowly push the Ukrainian army away.

Enemy units were unable to keep their positions on the Bakhmut-Lysychansk route, but they continue to fire the route from firearms near the village of Nahirne. Traffic on the route is impossible, trucks with aid have to bypass the route in this place. Heavy fighting continues. Ukrainian soldiers are inflicting heavy losses on the enemy. But there are significant losses among the military of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU). The 76th Air Assault Division units continue their attempts to break through to the Bakhmut-Lysychansk route on a wide front.

The enemy is actively using electronic warfare in the Bakhmut and Avdiivka directions. The russians used artillery and assault aircraft on the positions of the Armed Forces of Ukraine (AFU) units and the civilian infrastructure of this territory.

Active hostilities continue in the Bakhmut direction. The enemy unsuccessfully attempted to attack Komyshuvakha, Lypove, and Nagirne.

Due to the absence of gas supply in Donetsk Oblast, the work of Bakhmut-Khlib LLC was temporarily suspended. The City Mayor met with the representatives of the retail chains “EcoMarket” and “Lafar” that have corresponding tools to bake bread. They discussed how to meet the needs of the community and the Mayor asked to increase the maximum number of baking loaves per day, as well as to work the night shift, if possible.

Oligarch Rinat Akhmetov will sue russia over the destroyed Azovstal plant. He will also demand compensation for all losses for other enterprises he owns, as they are partially or completely destroyed.

Southern Oblasts

Zaporizhzhia Oblast

In the Zaporizhzia direction, the russian occupiers are strengthening their units in Polohy and Vasylivka Raions. They are propably trying to resume attacks in the direction of Vasylivka and Kamyanske and in the direction of Orikhiv and Huliaipole. According to the Zaporizhzia Oblast Military Administration, there is still a probability of missile and air strikes.

The russians continue to accumulate their military equipment in Zaporizhzhia Oblast.

On May 25th an echelon of Soviet T-62 tanks arrived in Melitopol and 30 units of russian vehicles arrived in Kyrylivka.

During the past 24 hours, the Armed Forced of Ukraine (AFU) destroyed the following in the Zaporizhzhia direction: 4 self-propelled howitzers Msta-C, 2 armored combat vehicles, 2 units of motor vehicles, and an armored combat vehicle was seized.

Kherson Oblast

Skadovsk

Today there were mass flights of enemy fighter aircraft at a fairly low altitude.

russian SIM cards have started to be sold in Kherson Oblast, and the russians publish the videos of many people allegedly queuing for new phone numbers. Enemies are preparing to launch russian passports and a simplified system for obtaining russian citizenship in Kherson Oblast. The number of checkpoints continues to increase, and no one (not even volunteers) has been released from Oblast for more than a few days. All agricultural machinery and grain crops are exported in huge amounts to russia.

The Mayor is not in the city but continues to work online and is involved in all possible volunteering.

People are holding up but they are already very exhausted and disappointed that nothing good is happening. Most of the elder people remained in the city.

The situation in the community is consistently critical. Food and all other food-related products are transported from Crimea. Pharmacies do not work. Bank branches plan to stop working in Skadovsk completely. People exchange medicine. Mobile connection and Internet are intermittent again.

Volunteers continue to work. Some of them are on the verge of burnout.

The AUI “Active Community” coordinator was volunteering and collecting new lists of neccesary things to help elder people.

The charity initiative will last until June 1st. One can bring homemade cookies to the Holy Dormition Cathedral and taste them in the House of St. Nicholas.

Salt from Poland, Romania and Turkey will be delivered to the Poltava Oblast to replace domestic deficiency. Vegetables are cleaned, chopped, dried and packaged. The sets have already been sent to units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, to the military hospital, and delivered to Kharkiv and Irpen.

The team of AUI “Active Community” in Poltava has joined the volunteers who prepare vegetables for borscht sets for the military hospital. Today they cut carrots and onions.

Vinnytsia Oblast

Zhmerynka

Currently, no hostilities are taking place in the community.

Representatives of the Defense Forces are patrolling at checkpoints.

People behave calmly.

In general, the level of activity in volunteer centers has decreased due to increasing indifference of citizens. If in the first days everyone did everything they could, now it is very difficult to find help. Many citizens have already spent their savings. Payrolls are delayed by the Ukrainian Railways (where almost a half of the city’s population works), teachers’ benefits have been cut, and salaries have been reduced. The situation is the same at many enterprises. These factors, along with sharp rise in prices, make people hold back money. That is why it is very difficult to help the military.

Khmilnyk

The past day in Khmilnyk community passed calmly, no air alarms were heard. Utility services work in a regular mode. Representatives of the Territory Defense patrol the community.

Employees of the utility company “Blahoustriy mista Kalynivka” spent two days liquidating unauthorized landfills in Kalynivka. In recent weeks, when fuel problems started in the country, garbage collection machines did not work. As a result, the whole mountains of garbage have grown on local waste gathering stations. Old furniture, tires, weeds from gardens, branches, building materials and even pieces of asphalt were brought by Kalynivka residents to the sites, freeing their farms from waste.

Cyber specialists of the Security Service of Ukraine identified a bot farm in the Oblast center. The activities of the bot farm were aimed at mass registration and maintenance of fake accounts in the most common social networks, including those banned in Ukraine.

According to operative data, the created bots were used in the interests of the enemy. False information about Russia’s military aggression against Ukraine was spread on the Internet in order to create panic among social network users.

Rivne

In general, the situation is relatively calm, there were no air alarms.

Soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine are patrolling the border with Belarus. Representatives of the Territory Defense are patrolling the city and on duty at checkpoints.

Citizens are systematically informed about the availability of fuel at gas stations in the oblast.

A resident of one of the communities of Rivne oblast is being prosecuted for promoting the Russian narrative and justifying the murders by the Russian army. According to the Rivne Oblast Prosecutor’s Office, a 62-year-old woman, professing pro-Russian views, categorically denied the killings by the armed forces of the aggressor country of civilians in Bucha and the shelling of the railway station in Kramatorsk.

Students of one of Rivne’s higher educational institutions participated in clearing the Kyiv Oblast of rubble.
