Kyiv

The criminal gang, which was run by deputy-betrayer Ilya Kyva from russian federation, was neutralized by the Security Service of Ukraine. Prior to the MP’s escape to russia, these ‘patriots’ were carrying out his task to cause provocations during public gatherings to destabilize the socio-political situation in Ukraine. According to the investigation, the gang consisted of at least 12 people.

In Podil district, kindergarten No. 435, which was shelled by russians in spring, is being repaired.

A steel inscription made of metal from Azovstal “I believe in the Armed Forces of Ukraine” appeared in Kyiv. A huge inscription was installed in honor of heroes on the territory of the National Museum of History of Ukraine in World War II.

As part of this initiative, a set of bracelets made of Azovstal metal was also produced. This was the last supply of material before the full-scale russian invasion.

Oksana Sarapiy, who is a designer from Kyiv, has created a project of a 15-meter monument “Ghost of Kyiv” and proposes to install it under the Arch of Freedom of the Ukrainian people.

Kyiv Oblast

Valdemaras Rupshis, who is the Commander-in-Chief of the Lithuanian Armed Forces, visited Irpin. He came to the city to meet personally with Mayor Oleksandr Markushyn and hear the story of the heroic defense of Irpin and stopping the russian army on the outskirts of Kyiv firsthand. Valdemaras Rupshis gave a symbolic honorary badge to Oleksandr Markushyn of the Commander-in-Chief of the Lithuanian Armed Forces in recognition of the heroic deeds of the fighters of the Irpin Territorial defense units.

The shelters are being equipped in educational institutions in Kyiv oblast. Also, the shelter is being equipped in the educational association “Osvita” in Irpin. Here, people pave the way for the electricity grid, equip the bathrooms, and complete other tasks.

Keys and documents from 19 social apartments were handed over to Ukrainian families in Boryspil for temporary residence. The apartments were given to large families of Kyiv oblast, whose housing was damaged or destroyed as a result of russian military aggression. The keys were also handed over to families with children who are displaced from Donetsk, Luhansk, Zaporizhzhia, and Kherson oblasts.

Chernihiv Oblast

On October 6, russian troops continued shelling the border of Chernihiv oblast. They shelled from mortars and cannon artillery. The communities of Novhorod-Siversky, Semeniv, and Horodnia communities were under the shellings. There were no casualties and no destruction.

This morning russians shelled the border of Chernihiv oblast three times. There were 15 mortar attacks in the direction of the settlement of Bleshnya, 25 attacks from cannon artillery in the area of settlement of Hai, and 13 mortar attacks in the direction of Senkivka.

Sumy Oblast

On October 6, russians shelled the communities of Yunakivka, Seredyna-Buda, Esman, Krasnopillia, Myropillia, Bilopillia and Velykopysariv. More than 150 explosions were recorded.

The detached houses were damaged as a result of russian shelling in one of the villages of Yunakivka community. Almost fifty artillery hits were recorded on October 6. There were smashed, fences, garages and outbuildings were destroyed in three houses. The poultry was killed by the debris. There is also destruction in a residential high-rise building.

In the morning russians shelled the Shalyhyne and Velykopysariv communities of Sumy oblast. Almost at 6 am in the Shalyhyne community, there were 4 machine gun bursts from the Russian side. And later they fired from a mortar. After 9 am, russians shelled the territory of the Velykopysariv community.

Eastern Oblasts

Kharkiv Oblast

During the day, occupants struck at raions of Kupyinsk, Chuhuiv and Izium. As a result of shelling in Kupiansk, a fire broke out on the territory of a furniture shop.

During the day, doctors of the local Emergency Medical Center hospitalized 2 people in the raion of Kupiansk, 4 – in Izium raion, and 2 people in Vovchansk, the raion of Chuhuiv. All the casualties are in fair condition.

In the morning in the raion of Izium, a 47-year-old woman was wounded when she stepped on a mine. The victim was picking mushrooms in the forest.

The restoration of roads continues in Kharkiv oblast. First of all, the works are carried out on the roads connecting the liberated settlements with Kharkiv. On the road, Kharkiv – Lyptsi – Borysivka, 10 km of the road has already been cleared. More than 300 square meters of damages have been mended. 32 road service workers and 15 units of equipment are working at the site.

Currently, work is being carried out to clear the radio station from the debris in Balakliya, Kupiansk, and Izium. And the First Channel of “Ukrainian Radio” started broadcasting in the Vovchansk community and adjacent territories.

The network of ATB shops handed over 1000 grocery sets to the residents of Kupyansk city, which included: food (pasta, canned food, tea, coffee, sugar, purified water, sunflower oil, cereals, sweets) and household and hygiene goods (washing powder, soap, shampoo). ATB coordinates the humanitarian aid through representatives of Kupiansk local authorities, who deliver it to the residents of the city then.

The Ukrainian military liberated the village of Glushkivka, in the raion of Kupiansk.

Donetsk Oblast

On October 6, russians killed two civilians in Donetsk oblast – in Bakhmut and Kurdiumivka.

In addition, 7 more civilians killed by russians during the occupation were found in Sviatohirsk.

Another 7 people were wounded yesterday.

In total, since February 24 russian missiles killed 946 civilians in Donetsk oblast and wounded 2330 more. It is currently impossible to establish the exact number of victims in Mariupol and Volnovakha.

Kramatorsk and Kramatorsk raion

In the Kramatorsk direction, the enemy fired from artillery of various types in the settlements of Spirne, Bilohorivka, Verkhnokamianske, Serebrianka, and Rozdolivka.

Ukrainian police returned to the liberated Lyman. The city had been under occupation since May 25. Law enforcement officers received information from local residents about at least 39 graves of the dead, both single and massive. Among them are civilians and the military. Law enforcement officers are also preparing to exhume bodies from a mass grave found the day before.

Pokrovsk and Pokrovsk raion

At night, the communities of Pokrovsk and Bakhmut raions came under russian shelling.

There were no casualties in the Donetsk direction, but there are damages in Mariinka, Avdiivka, and Ocheretyne communities.

In particular, in the Mariinka community russians shelled Mariinka, Krasnohorivka, Maksymilianivka, Kostyantynivka, and Heorhiivka. Avdiivka was shelled by artillery three times, and in the morning – with cluster munitions. The old and central parts of the city were damaged. A house and a school were damaged in Novoselivka Persha of the Ocheretynska community.

If the gas supply to Donetsk oblast is restored, first of all, gas will be supplied to boiler houses and critical infrastructure sites, then – to private sector buildings, and lastly – to multi-apartment buildings. This was reported by Yuriy Klyuchka who is the head of Myrnohrad City Military Administration of Pokrovskyi raion. There is currently no exact information on when the gas supply will be restored in the community.

Bakhmut

The enemy is trying to keep the temporarily seized territories, and focuses its efforts on disrupting the active actions of the Defense Forces in certain areas. The enemy does not stop conducting offensive actions in the Bakhmut and Avdiivka directions.

Thus, in the Bakhmut direction, the enemy hit near the settlements of Soledar, Bakhmut, Chasiv Yar, Kurdiumivka, Opytne, Zaitseve, and New York.

In the Horlivka direction, the russians fired on the outskirts of Soledar, Bakhmut, and Fedorivka in the Soledar community and on the outskirts of Toretsk.

In the Lysychansk direction, there were hits in the Zvanivska community – in Verkhnekamianske 4 houses were damaged, but there were no casualties.

In Kurdiumivka, near Bakhmut, on October 7, rescuers pulled the body of a woman out of the rubble of a two-story residential building. 

Mariupol

The occupation administration officially appropriated buildings of dormitories, private hotels, and some buildings of different ownership. Now they are going to equip dormitories to heat Mariupol residents in winter.

Prayers “for Putin’s health” started in Mariupol churches. Yesterday church leaders received a circular from Patriarch Kirill of the Russian Orthodox Church regarding the text of the prayer.

As of today, the occupiers introduced a dress code and uniform for teachers in Mariupol. Makeup is prohibited. Also from today, teachers are officially banned from going to the territory controlled by Ukraine.

Resistance in Mariupol is growing every day. The citizens made the letter “Ї” almost in the center of the city on the roof of one of the buildings.

Luhansk Oblast

In Svatove, Bilokurakyne and Kreminna, the occupiers continue to mine infrastructure facilities, highways and bridges in order to restrain the offensive of the Armed Forces. They also began to mine the territory around Severodonetsk. The Armed Forces liberated the village of Grekivka of the Krasnorichenske settlement community of the Svativ Raion from the occupiers.

Southern Oblasts

Zaporizhzhia Oblast

Over the past day, on October 6, the Russian occupiers shelled 18 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia Oblast. 28 reports were received about the destruction of civil infrastructure objects as a result of shelling by the russian occupying forces.

The number of people who died as a result of a rocket attack on a residential building in Zaporizhzhia on the 6 of October has increased to 11 people. At least 5 more are considered missing. Debris clearance is currently ongoing.

On the night of October 7, the russian military attacked Zaporizhzhia for the first time with drones, previously with Iranian “Shahed-136”. Infrastructure facilities in two districts of the city were destroyed. Air defense forces neutralized three russian missiles over one of the communities of Zaporizhzhya Raion. According to preliminary information, there are no injuries.

One of the russian rockets fell into the courtyard of a high-rise building in Zaporizhzhia. The residential building was destroyed, utility networks were damaged, balconies and windows were broken. Windows were also blown out in two neighboring houses, two kindergartens and one non-residential building.

Today’s shelling of Energodar caused a blackout of electricity, water supply and the Internet. Information about possible destruction and injured people is currently being ascertained.

The first rotation of representatives of the IAEA mission, who stayed there for over a month, took place at the Zaporizhzhia NPP, reported the general director of the agency Grossi. According to him, the new team is already at the station.

Kherson Oblast

The russian military shelled the de-occupied and front-line villages of the Beryslav Raion. As a result of the shelling, power lines were severed, houses were damaged and in some places destroyed, some of them were on fire. Local residents who were in the yards near their houses were also killed. The number of victims is determined.  

The Southern Defense Forces carried out an airstrike on the points of deployment of anti-aircraft missile systems of russian troops in Nova Kakhovka. Missile and artillery units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine carried out 200 fire missions at positions and areas of concentration of russian military and equipment. Losses are being investigated.

The prosecutor’s office suspects the collaboration of five organizers of the pseudo-referendum in Henichesk Raion. The suspects headed the fake polling stations and created the appearance of “legitimacy” of this process.

Mykolayiv Oblast

Over the past day, the 6 of October, six enemy drones were destroyed in the Mykolayiv Oblast.

At night, the enemy attacked the city. As a result, a fire broke out in the roof of a two-story building in one of Mykolaiv’s Raions.

Yesterday, as a result of enemy shelling of the Shevchenkove community, two people were injured. A civil infrastructure object was damaged.

Also, on the 6 of October, three settlements of the Pervomai community were under shelling by the russians. Residential buildings and civil infrastructure were damaged as a result of enemy shelling. The hits were also outside the population centers.

During the past day, the settlements of the Berezneguvate community were shelled by the russians. The enemy launched a rocket attack on the community twice. Hitting on open territory and fields. There are no casualties.

In addition, on the 6 of October, the russians shelled the Shiroke community. Hitting on the agricultural enterprise.

Odesa Oblast

In Kherson Oblast, the commander of the amphibious assault company of the marines, senior lieutenant Oleksandr Kalov from Odesa Oblast, died. A military man from the Bolgrad community died on the 1 of October from multiple shrapnel wounds.

In Odesa, an FSS agent with the pseudonym “Professor” was sentenced to 15 years in prison for treason. It was proven in court that at the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the man was recruited by representatives of the FSS of russia, for whom he collected data on the Armed Forces, law enforcement agencies, special services and the results of missile strikes. 

Medical institutions of Odesa received another humanitarian shipment from the Odesa regional organization of the Red Cross Society of Ukraine. Washing machines and microwave ovens were delivered to city hospitals and maternity homes. Also, in September, medical facilities received bed linen, towels and hygiene products.

Central Oblast

Dnipropetrovsk Oblast

At night, the russian occupying forces attacked two communities of the Nikopol Raion. In Nikopol, several high-rise buildings, 14 private houses, 7 commercial buildings, a transport infrastructure enterprise, 3 cars, and a gas pipeline were damaged. The power grid is broken. The consequences of shelling are being established in Marhanka. The Chervonogrigorivka community was also hit three times with salvo rocket systems

The Mayor of Dnipro, Borys Filatov, said that the City Hall will pay up to half a million hryvnias to the residents of Dnipro, who suffered from rocket fire. This is 10 times more than what is being paid now. At the same time, the residents of the affected buildings complain that they have to do the repairs themselves without the help of the city executive committee.

Kirovohrad Oblast

Tonight, russian missiles were shot down by air defense forces over the Novoukrainka Raion. Their fragments were found in the fields. An investigative team is currently on the scene.

Oleksiy Lebid from the Potoky community, Ihor Kirdan from the Khorol community, Ruslan Kolodyazhny from the Novy Sanzhary community were killed in the fighting.

Photos with the names of Oleg Kulakovsky, Ivan Kovalev, and Denis Bondarev from Poltava, who died defending the state from the invaders, were added to the wall of the Mykhailivskyi Zolotoverhi Monastery in Kyiv.

An air missile was discovered in Poltava Oblast. NARS-8 is planned to be destroyed today. It was found in an open area in Myrhorod. S-8 is a soviet and russian 80-mm unguided anti-aircraft missile designed to destroy enemy equipment and manpower from the air.

Migrants who are registered in Poltava Oblast receive a monthly state housing allowance. 2 thousand hryvnias for an adult and 3 thousand hryvnias for a child or person with a disability. Funds have already been transferred for October. In total, since the beginning of the full-scale war in the Oblast, 174,800 families of displaced persons have received state aid for 3.1 billion hryvnias in total.

At the meeting of the executive committee, the decision on the transfer of humanitarian aid for internally displaced persons from seven charitable organizations was approved. So, today they provided household and medical equipment, hygiene products, sports equipment, grocery sets and baby food. The farmers of Poltava Oblast are holding their front – threshing sunflowers, soybeans, corn and digging sugar beets. They are also taking care of next year: almost a third part of the planned areas have already been sown with winter cereals. They continue to sow wheat, barley, and rye. They have already managed to sow rapeseed. 

The team of “Active Community” of Poltava is preparing for the premiere of the performance of the Documentary Theater. It is scheduled for October 15. Rehearsals with the participants of the performance are ongoing.

Western Oblasts

Lviv Oblast

24 more remains of victims of Bolshevik terror were found on the territory of the former NKVD torture chamber in Drohobych. They were found with bullet wounds and crushed skulls. They are mainly young and middle-aged people who were deliberately and cruelly executed. According to the Municipal Enterprise of Lviv Oblast Council “Dolya”, which organized and is engaged in search operations, the tortured are representatives of Ukrainians who opposed the Soviet occupation authorities and the OUN-UPA in 1944-1945. 

The Air Command “West” of the Air Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine received a truck and a trawl for moving large-sized military equipment weighing up to 50 tons. This will help the air command to be even more mobile, to protect the sky above Lviv Oblast more effectively and to inflict greater damage on the enemy. The cost of the car and trawl is 2.5 million hryvnias. The American company JustAnswer joined the purchase of equipment. 

Another 128 people arrived in Lviv by two evacuation trains from the epicenters of hostilities. 550 people went to Przemysl from Lviv Oblast by four trains. 18747 people left Ukraine through checkpoints in the Lviv Oblast during the day. 16 thousand 338 Ukrainians applied for entry.

80 people who lost their homes due to the war will receive temporary housing in the Yavorivsk raion.

In the Novoyavorivsk community, 32 living rooms of the dormitory of the higher professional school were renovated, where these people will be able to temporarily settle. To complete the repair, the facility was included in the Program for the Implementation of Priority Infrastructure Projects in the Lviv Oblast. 3.3 million hryvnias was allocated to it from the Oblast budget.

Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast

Volunteers and active citizens of Prykarpattia continue to collect funds for the Armed Forces. So, on October 8, Ihor Volochy from Ivano-Frankivsk will overcome one of the most difficult cycling challenges – Everesting. The idea of ​​the challenge is to cycle up and down one hill until you gain 8,848 meters of elevation gain. This is the height of the highest mountain on Earth, Everest. The man asks those who care to support him with donations, which will go to the Armed Forces through the Serhiy Prytula Charity Fund.

The community is preparing for the Day of the Defender of Ukraine. As part of the celebrations, a social advertisement – Alley of Glory with photos of local heroes who have died since 2014 in Moscow’s war against the Ukrainian state will be placed on the “hundred meter” in Ivano-Frankivsk.

Rivne Oblast

In Rivne, citizens said goodbye to Oleksandr Mamchur, whose life ended on October 4 as a result of an explosion of enemy ammunition.

On the territory of the Rivne community, another special object training was held at the boiler houses. They were conducted by RivneTeploEnergo, KvasylivTeploEnergo, RivneOblEnergo, and boiler plant workers together with emergency services specialists. The goal is to work out the mechanism of connecting them to generators. This will make it possible to provide heat to the residents of the community even in emergency situations.

In the art gallery of the artist Kostyantyn Kachanovskyi, which operates in the shelter of the Oblast clinical hospital, a charity event in support of the Armed Forces was held. Replicas of the artist’s paintings are presented there, and at the event they were supplemented with an interactive audio guide. The organizers collected more than 8 thousand hryvnias during the event.

Khmelnytskyi Oblast

Kamianets-Podilskyi

Heroes Vladyslav Neborskyi, Serhiy Akishev, Vadym Veretsun, who were buried on the Alley of Glory, were taken on their last journey today.

During the seven months of the full-scale war, the Kamianets-Podilskiy perinatal center received 415 internally displaced persons, 197 of whom were children. 98 mothers gave birth here, 276 pregnant women were registered.

Volunteers of the Red Cross Society of Ukraine held a master class on pre-medical care for young participants of the “Children of War” project. More than 40 children, who were adopted by Kamianets-Podilskyi, received training and acquired knowledge that can save human lives.

Chernivtsi Oblast

Bukovyna bid farewell to the Heroes who laid down their lives defending the Ukrainian land from the russian invaders: senior soldier Pavlo Diavolyuk was taken to the last trip in village of Horbovo, soldiers Yury Ivanovych, Oleksandr Horyuk and Viktor Atvinovskyi – in Chernivtsi, Petro Melnychuk – in the village of Ispas, Arkady Farkasha – in the village of Kupka, Oleksandr Melnyk – in the village of Vasylivka, Viniamina Danyshchuk – in the village of Chornoguzy.

About a hundred employers in Bukovyna received monetary compensation for employing immigrants. In total, almost 2.5 million hryvnias were paid to entrepreneurs.

2 tons of humanitarian aid were delivered to the Karapchiv boarding school. It is about food products and hygiene products. They were handed over to the institution by the Vrancha branch of the Romanian Red Cross. Currently, 22 children and 3 accompanying persons from the Slavic Center for Social and Psychological Rehabilitation of Children of the Donetsk Oblast live here.

Zakarpattia Oblast

In Mukachevo, people said goodbye to the deceased commander of the 128th Separate Mountain Assault Transcarpathian Brigade, Eduard Lukandii. They paid their respects to the Hero and held a funeral ceremony in the Cathedral. 

IT-students of Uzhgorod National University presented a new development at the international conference – a map of decommunization. Processed data from the “Diya” web portal and information from the Institute of National Remembrance were visualized using the cartographic web service Google Maps.

Almost 10 tons of potatoes for the displaced people were collected in the village of Vorochovo in the Uzhgorod raion. In the spring, two and a half tons of seed potatoes were handed over to the community under the program to support internally displaced persons. Help was received from the UN. They landed her in an open field. The settlers themselves harvest the crops.

In Beregove, students of the medical college organized a flash mob in support of the Ukrainian military. On the city square, the students danced dynamically, and also thanked the military for the peaceful sky above their heads.
