From the first days of the full-scale war and for more than six months, religious communities have supported the city council, providing assistance to IDPs. Provision of food and settlements were discussed today at a meeting with the participation of the Spiritual Council representatives, which will continue to organize shelter for people who fled to Kamianets from explosions and russian rockets.
Oleksandr Tron, a representative of the Ministry of Community and Territorial Development of Ukraine, who is also a member of the Cabinet of Ministers’ winter preparation staff, visited Kamianets yesterday. The city’s readiness for the heating season was discussed.
The commission on the provision of one-time financial assistance prepared a decision of the executive committee to pay 10,000 hryvnias each to five servicemen who were wounded in the war.
