Northern oblasts

Kyiv

The Department of Construction and Housing of the Kyiv Municipal State Administration was ordered to create a housing fund in the city, intended for the temporary residence of internally displaced people.

Kyiv council will purchase portable boiler rooms for Kyiv as a backup source of heat supply. Portable boiler rooms will be purchased in case an emergency happens during the heating season. With the help of portable boiler rooms,hospitals, kindergartens, schools will be provided with heat and as well as the heating points that will be established throughout the whole city.

The rescuers of Kyiv went to the liberated cities of Kharkiv oblast. The team of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine consists of 41 rescuers and 12 units of equipment. The rescuers will participate in the restoration of the local infrastructure. The detachment also included 9 units of equipment and 11 people from the Kyiv City State Administration. In addition, 9 units of equipment and 11 people from the Kyiv City State Administration joined the unit of rescuers.

Kyiv oblast

Zhytomyr Oblast

One of the 215 POWs released from captivity is an Azovstal defender from Zhytomyr Oblast. This is Dmytro Kozatskiy, who was born in Malyn raion, whose military call sign is Orest. He is the author of photos that were reporting on the lives of Azovstal defenders.

380 million hryvnias remained in Zhytomyr community this year. According to Serhiy Sukhomlyn, the mayor of Zhytomyr, thanks to it, it was possible to provide everything necessary, in particular, the brigades that were formed in Zhytomyr oblast. After all, there are no expected revenues in the budget due to the war, a large drop in GDP, and the suspension of some local businesses.

In Zhytomyr, due to an accident at the sewage pumping station, another discharge of sewage into the Kamianka River was recorded. The ecologists took water samples for further laboratory studies, the results of which will determine the concentration of pollutants and calculate the amount of damage caused to the surrounding natural environment.

Chernihiv Oblast

Two communities of Chernihiv Oblast were shelled by the Russians on September 21. At around seven o’clock in the morning, the enemies shelled the territorial community of Horodnia with mortars of 120 mm caliber. After ten o’clock in the morning, the Russians continued shelling the border area – eight mines hit the territory of the Snovsk community.

Today, the rescuers neutralized ammunition by detonation near the village of Shestovitsa.

The junior classes of one of the schools in Chernihiv raised money and bought socks for Ukrainian defenders. The initiator was the daughter of a serviceman, who studies at this school. The servicemen came to the school to take socks and thank the children who volunteered.

On September 21, Major Oleksandr Kyianets was spent to his last journey in the Catherine Church.

Sumy Oblast

During the past day, russians were shelling the Bilopillia, Seredyna-Buda, and Shalygynne communities in Sumy Oblast. As a result of shellings, the houses, Atin psychoneurological school, substation, and electricity grid were damaged.

Yesterday, russian troops shelled the village of Volfynne in the Bilopillia community, Sumy oblast. As a result of the missiles’ explosions, three houses of the locals were damaged. One house was burned up.

The production of stoves and trench candles for the Ukrainian army was established at the Chemical Technology Center of Vocational Education in Sumy.

Eastern Oblasts

Kharkiv Oblast

The enemy continues to hit the critical infrastructure of Kharkiv oblast, trying to cause a technogenic catastrophe in Kharkiv oblast. The head of the Kharkiv Regional State Administration, Oleg Synigubov, together with the experts, assessed the Pechenizh Dam in the Chuguev raion, on which russian invaders have repeatedly struck missile strikes. Yesterday, two russian missiles were hit the dam. The upper gateway was damaged. Now experts neutralize the effects of shellings. The situation on the dam is fully controlled. There are no threats to the breakthrough of the dam and flooding of the territories.

Yesterday, at 9:30 pm russians shelled Kyiv district in Kharkiv by multiple launch rocket systems, 7 garages were destroyed on the neighboring territory. There was a fire.

The prosecutors of Kupyansk District Prosecutor’s Office of Kharkiv Oblast together with police officers during the inspection of the city found Fab-500 aircraft bombs. Among all the places where Fab-500 fell are residential areas. The invaders dumped bombs directly on the homes.

In Kharkiv oblast, Chuguiiv, Izyum, Kupiansk, and Kharkiv raions were under the enemy shellings. The houses and outbuildings were damaged.

Near the village of Grakove, Chuguev raion, during the reconstruction, two workers of Kharkiv power companies of “Kharkivoblenergo” and one worker of the State Emergency Service of Ukraine were injured because of the bomb’s detonation. As a result, one of them died, two workers were taken to the hospital.

320 bodies of civilians and 18 bodies of servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine were exhumed in Izyum.

Donetsk Oblast

Yesterday, russians killed 5 civilians of Donetsk oblast: two in Kurakhove, one in Bakhmut, one was killed in Avdiivka, and another in Karlivka. 12 people were injured.

Totally, from February 24, 873 civilians of Donetsk oblast have been killed by russian weapons, and another 2205 were injured. The number of victims in Mariupol and Volnovakha is still unknown.

Kramatorsk and Kramatorsk raion

On yesterday evening, russians attacked the enterprise in Kramatorsk and shelled the Chasiv Yar community with cassette ammunition – the local school of arts and the library were seriously damaged.

In the Kramatorsk oblast, the village of Diliyivka of the Konstantinov community was shelled – two detached houses were damaged; fortunately, there were no casualties.

Pokrovsk and Pokrovsky raion

In the Pokrovsky raion, Mariinka, Avdiivka, and Ocheretyno communities were under the shellings. In the Mariinka community were shellings in Marinka, Krasnogorivka, Maximilianivka, and Konstantinovka; there were no lossless.

One person was injured in the village of Udachne of the Pokrovsky raion.

Avdiivka was under single shellings all night, and in the morning there was an artillery attack on the central part of the city and the tank shellings of the old part of the city. The information about the scale of destruction and the casualties are being clarified.

In the Ocheretiane community, russians shelled on the outskirts of Ocheretyne; there were no casualties in Keramika and Novokalynove. 

In Myrnograd of the Pokrovsky raion, as a result of the air defense, fragments from a managed missile were found yesterday. The facts about the casualties and destruction as a result of the fall in the community have not been recorded. The conducted examination has shown no dangerous objects were detected.

The Pokrovsk community has received more than 2,600 food kits from charitable funds for the residents of preferential categories. That were cereals, canned meat, and sunflower oil. Today, humanitarian aid was delivered by volunteers.

The 10-year-old Darya Shapoval, from Pokrovsk, became a star of the clip on the Ukrainian song ‘Там біл тополі калина росте’ (‘There the viburnum grows near the poplar’). She has been taking singing lessons for 2 years, this is her first professional video. The young singer was born in Avdiivka, however, she with the family had to leave because of constant shelling.

Bakhmut

In the Bakhmut raion, russians fired at the Bakhmut community, the private sector of Bakhmut and Khromove were hit – 2 people were wounded, 6 houses were damaged.

In the Svitlodar community, there was a lot of noise in Odradivka and at Mayorsk station – no information about the victims was received.

Mariupol

Yesterday evening, an exchange of prisoners took place, during which Ukraine returned more than 200 defenders from russian captivity. Among them – 108 fighters of “Azov”, in particular 5 commanders from “Azovstal”.

The occupiers continue to take everything they see from the houses of Mariupol residents. So, the occupiers took all the furniture out of one house, but they forgot the ammunition. This situation once again shows the true nature of the occupiers and collaborators. For them, the main thing is to rob the houses of peaceful residents of Mariupol. But as the militarians they did not succeed.

In Mariupol, leaflets are already appearing with a call for women to join the military service.

Despite patrols and increased security measures, the city continues to fight and resist. The city’s resistance in honor of the liberation of the Mariupol Garrison expand the Ukrainian flag!

 

Luhansk Oblast

In the Svatovo raion, in order to hide the military equipment without witnesses, the occupiers forcibly evicted the residents of the Honcharivka and Kuzemivka settlements. It is unknown where they are now.

Mobilization continues in the occupied Luhansk Oblast, the occupiers are taking almost all men into the army. 

Under the procedural guidance of the Svatovo and Shchastya raion prosecutor’s offices of the Luhansk Oblast, two pseudo-policemen of the so-called “LNR” were notified of suspicion of collaborative activities. During the period of martial law, the suspects began to cooperate with the russian occupation authorities and took positions in illegally created law enforcement agencies.

Southern Oblasts

Zaporizhzhia Oblast

In the morning, around 7 o’clock, the russian military hit Zaporizhzhia with 9 rockets. The enemy targeted civilian infrastructure facilities. Two hits by S-300 missiles were recorded at the hotel in one of the central parks.

Another hit was in the television tower. There was also an “arrival” at an energy facility of critical infrastructure. For some time, it was necessary to connect a backup generator, including in the regional hospital. This problem is currently solved. The infrastructure will still have to be restored.

As a result of shelling, 21 residential buildings were damaged. It is known about 5 wounded, a 65-year-old man died. Employees of communal services work at the sites of destruction together with city residents, handing out glass and OSB plates to people.

In the Zaporizhzhia region, the occupiers continue to concentrate on maintaining the captured territories. During the past day, the invaders once again destroyed peaceful houses in the settlements of Pology, Vasylivka, and Zaporizhzhya raions. In total, law enforcement officers received 53 reports of the destruction of civilian objects.

Kherson Oblast

To date, in the Kherson Oblast, russian troops have destroyed or damaged more than 2,600 infrastructure facilities, including power lines, transformer substations, gas pipelines, water pipelines, boiler houses, and pumping stations.

The russian military kidnapped a volunteer from Chornobayivka. First, they tortured the man and his wife. And after searching the house, they took all the food and drinks, the car and took it to an unknown destination, the police of the Kherson Oblast reported.

In the temporarily occupied Kherson Oblast, the illegal authorities announced that they would hold “referendums” on joining the russian federation this week — September 23-27. It is already known that the russian central election comission will help the so-called authorities, and voting will take place “outside the polling stations.”

In Kherson, the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed two command posts of Russian troops. They also hit two command posts in Novovoskresenske and Dudchany, ammunition depots in Pyatikhatki and Kherson, three places of accumulation of weapons and personnel in Dudchany and Nova Kakhovka, and a radar station.

The Armed Forces of Ukraine stopped attempts by the russian military to cross the Dnipro by a bridge over the Kakhovka Dam and sail away on a barge from Kherson.

Anti-aircraft missile units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed the russian drones “Orion” and “Orlan-10” in the area of ​​Novovoskresenske and Arkhangelske, where the russian military was conducting aerial reconnaissance. Attempts by the russian military to set up alternative crossings across the Dnipro in the raions of Nova Kakhovka and Kozatske were stopped by fire control of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Explosions are constantly heard in the Skadovsk community, and air-raid sirens sound. Ukrainian banks do not work in the city, instead, the occupiers installed new signs with the names of russian banks. Most shops are closed. The prices for products and basic necessities are exorbitant. Internet and electricity work with interruptions. 25-30% of the citizens remained in the city, they are mostly unemployed and elderly people. 

The mayor of Skadovsk reminded the citizens that the communal enterprises of the community are under the leadership of the occupation administration. Their work is suspended. Electricity and gas continue to come from Ukrainian suppliers, so he called on citizens to honestly pay for these services.

The team of “Active Community” in Skadovsk joined the collection of funds for the support of the Armed Forces. The coordinator, together with the activists, sent the collected amount to the “Return Alive” Army Competent Assistance Fund.

Mykolaiv Oblast 

At night around 00:15, Mykolaiv came under enemy rocket fire. As a result, high-rise buildings were damaged, windows were broken, gas pipelines, water pipes, cinema and theater courtyards, and administrative buildings were damaged. Also, at 01:21, a fire broke out in a warehouse as a result of missile attack.

Yesterday, at 12:20 p.m., the village of Polygon of the Shevchenkove community came under enemy fire.

Also yesterday, enemy attacks were carried out on the Kutsurub community. Hits were recorded mainly outside of localities and in open areas. During September 21, the enemy attacked the area of ​​the National Historical and Archaeological Reserve “Olvia” in the direction of Parutyne three times with rockets.

Yesterday, the enemy made artillery attack at the coastal zone of the city of Ochakiv. As a result, a fire broke out on the tugboat.

During yesterday’s day, the village of Pervomaiske of the Pervomaiske community was under enemy fire. Mostly hits were recorded in open areas, a residential building was partially destroyed.

In the morning at 05:55 in the village of Kalynivka of the Voskresenske community, a fire broke out at the post office as a result of the missile attack by the russians.

Villages located on the dividing line of the Berezneguvate community remain under constant fire.

Yesterday, the enemy shelled the outskirts of the village of Novooleksandrivka of the Ingul community.

Tonight, the village of Shiroke and the village of Chervona Dolyna of the Shiroke community came under enemy fire.

Odesa Oblast

During the exchange, Odessa doctor and arbiter Dmytro Kubryak was released from russian captivity. At the end of March, Dmytro worked in the Dnipro hospital, where he operated on wounded soldiers. Later, he went to Mariupol with a group of medics, where he was captured. During his captivity, Dmytro was in the colony in Olenivka. 

Volunteers from Odesa help Mykolaiv municipal workers to clear debris after russian shelling. They work on the territory of the Mykolaiv Drama Theater, which was damaged by enemy rockets during the night shelling.

Central Oblast 

Kirovohrad Oblast 

Oleksand Muzynskyi, born in 1963, was released from russian captivity. He is a member of the “Svoboda” Valley organization, fought in the “Azov” regiment. Together with the defenders of Mapiupol, Oleksand was captured by the Soviets. He is currently in Ukraine.

The people of Kropyvnnytskyi paid their last respects to their compatriots – the Heroes. Junior sergeant Ruslan Molyapenko, sergeant Oleg Hpechany and senior sergeant Sephii Dep’yanko found eternal rest in the Alley of Honorable Military Burials of the Far Eastern Cemetery today.

Poltava Oblast

Oleksiy Strebkov, a soldier of “Azov” and the husband of Natalia Strebkova “Zoryana” from Poltava, returned from captivity. Poltava State Bureau of Investigation exposed traitors in Vovchansk and Kupyansk. In Vovchansk, the chief forester who agreed to cooperate with the occupiers was detained. He helped them build dugouts. Two more traitorous law enforcement officers from Vovchansk and Kupyansk worked in the punitive squads of the occupation police, searched the local population, seized weapons and patrolled the cities.

Poltava Oblast’s Military Administration has banned mass events with more than 10 people. This also applies to peaceful meetings, rallies, marches and demonstrations. This decision is due to the recommendations sent by the central military command: during the quasi-referendums in the temporarily occupied territories, minimize the number of measures for security reasons.

In the universities of the Poltava Oblast, studies for first-year students have started. This year, there are 5,731 of them, of which 264 are immigrants. Vocational and technical education is in demand this year. 3,676 people, including 56 immigrants, have already been enrolled in specialized institutions of the Oblast. The most sought-after professions are agricultural tractor-machinist, motor vehicle driver, information and software processing operator, cook, electric gas welder.

Western Oblast

Rivne Oblast 

Of the 205 Ukrainians released from captivity, four are from the Rivne Oblast. All of them are from Azovstal. They are a native of the Dubensky Raion, captain of the medical service Maryana Mamonova (Cherepushko), a resident of Rivne, captain Dmytro Kozinsky, a student of the Ostrozka Academy, senior soldier Dmytro Kozatskyi, and a native of the village of Smiga, Dubensky Raion, lieutenant colonel Vitaly Danylevich.

Last night in the Rivne Oblast, two Heroes-defenders were taken to the last journey. In Rivne, they said goodbye to 29-year-old soldier Bohdan Nikitin. Oleksiy Andreev with the call sign “Kurt” was buried in the Sarnen community.

The “Teneta” volunteer center works in the Duben Raion. Camouflage suits (kikimori), nets and military equipment are woven here. Local residents and forced migrants work together here. In 100 days, they disguised more than a hundred units of military equipment. In addition, advanced products, household chemicals, first-aid kits, construction materials for trenches and dugouts are transferred.

Khmelnytsk Oblast

The SUV worth over one million hryvnias was received by the employees of the Anti-Terrorist Center under the regional administration of the Security Service of Ukraine. They bought a car within the framework of the “Program for ensuring anti-terrorist protection of the Khmelnytskyi urban territorial community”.The car will help the military to perform tasks in various parts of our country under any weather conditions.

“Rescue alphabet” was presented in Khmelnytskyi. With the help of 33 letters, emergency workers explain complex words to children, familiarize them with their equipment, and describe man-made disasters and natural phenomena. The guide can be downloaded to a smartphone or viewed online. It is aimed at preschoolers and elementary school students.

Kamianets-Podilskyi 

$18,000 was donated for fuel for trucks by Andrii Goncharov, the owner of UKRLED LLC. The company moved from Mykolaiv to Kamianets-Podilskyi several months ago. Thanks to this material support, humanitarian aid arrived in Mykolaiv without delays. Currently, he has allocated another $19,000. These funds went to the vehicles of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to fulfill the tasks of liberating Ukrainian territories from the occupiers. Preschool Week has started in the kindergartens of the Kamianets-Podilskyi community. And he started with the city-wide charity fair “Together to Victory!” and fundraising for Ukrainian soldiers. Everyone could buy homemade baked goods, various delicacies, various patriotic trinkets, jewelry, souvenirs and works of art. As part of the events, children also make gifts-talismans for the Armed Forces, record video appeals to defenders, and prepare an online marathon of children’s vocal groups.

Chernivtsi Oblast 

According to the order of the Minister of Defense of Ukraine Oleksiy Reznikov, defender from Bukovyna Serhiy Sukhomlin was awarded the badge “For Military Valor”. The soldier went to the front from the first days of the full-scale invasion of the russia into Ukraine. There he demonstrated steadfastness of spirit and selfless service to the Motherland.

In Chernivtsi, lawyers of the “Right to Protection” charitable foundation help displaced people to obtain documents about the death of relatives or the birth of children in temporarily occupied territories and war zones. Employees of the fund provide consultations and represent people from other regions in court.

Yaroslav Vitsky moved to Chernivtsi from Zhytomyr Oblast when russian troops attacked Ukraine from the north, and immediately got a job at the “Bukovynska Kniga” Regional Communal Enterprise. Today, the immigrant man is successfully implementing his idea of ​​popularizing comics. He says that this is a separate form of art, which is gaining wide popularity among readers.

Zakarpattia Oblast 

Almost 8 kg of bread rolls were baked by the settlers during the master class in Uzhhorod. The event of baking Zakarpattia’s bagels was held by the Slovak organization “Man in Need”, which helps displaced people during the war in Ukraine. It was held to distract fellow citizens from the war and introduce Zakarpattia’s cuisine. The master class lasted two hours, and was attended by 27 participants – children and parents.

The writer Andrii Lyubka presented his new book “What’s wrong with me” in Uzhgorod. The texts for it were written during 2020-2021. It continues the series of ultra-short prose and tells about adventures and moods, real stories and autobiographical fictions, is a universal advisor and atlas of tourist routes. “The year 2022 is when we fight for our culture, for the right to publish books, create and stage plays, for the right to walk around the city, live and not be afraid of air pollution, drink coffee and speak Ukrainian,” the writer commented.
