Kyiv

Kyiv Oblast

To date, in high-rise buildings in Irpin, the current repairs of almost 90% of the roofs that were damaged by shelling have been completed, and about 70% of the damaged windows have been replaced. In addition, repair work is being completed in the city’s schools, which are subject to repair, as well as the replacement of destroyed engineering communications.

Yesterday in Irpin, workers were working on about 30 high-rise buildings. They install windows and doors, and repair the roof.

Damaged objects at various addresses are being repaired in the village of Borodyanka. Work continues despite difficult weather conditions and power outages.

According to the order of «Ukrenergo», emergency shutdowns are ongoing in the Kyiv Oblast.

Zhytomyr Oblast

Zhytomyr said goodbye to three Heroes who returned home on the shield. Oleksandr Skorokhod volunteered to defend Ukraine. Since February 28, he has been a member of one of the military units. Died in a battle with russian invaders near Vyskopillia, Beryslav raion, Kherson Oblast. Roman Shilkin defended Ukraine in the Kherson Oblast as part of the Armed Forces. He died heroically near Vysokopillia, Kherson Oblast. Oleg Kosik voluntarily joined the ranks of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. He died defending the Motherland.

In Zhytomyr, state awards were presented to the relatives of the fallen defenders. Orders «For Courage» III degree (posthumously) were awarded to: Serhiy Kuzmenko, Gennadiy Nechytaylo, Dmytro Yakovets. Oleksandr Kovnatsy was awarded the «Steel Cross» badge. Eternal glory to the Heroes.

«Zhyvi lysty [Living letters]» – an action under this name for the Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine for wounded servicemen who are being treated in the Oblast, was organized by “LITtera” city public libraries. The children of Zhytomyr Oblast and immigrants take part in the action.

Chernihiv Oblast

Yesterday, December 1, russian troops shelled the border of Chernihiv Oblast. The military recorded three approaches from tube artillery in the Novgorod-Siverskyi community.

In Chernihiv Oblast, on December 1, the defender, senior soldier Ihor Movchan, who died in Donetsk Oblast, was taken on his last journey.

Also, yesterday in Mykhailo-Kotsyubynske, they said goodbye to the dead 21-year-old soldier of the National Guard Maksym Butsko.

Sumy Oblast

Yesterday, the russian military released 180 shells and mines on the territory of Sumy Oblast. Shalygyne, Esman, Yunakivka, Znob-Novgorodske and Myropil communities came under fire.

A fire broke out in the Yunakivka community. Later, the State Emergency Service reported that a private home was on fire. Firefighters extinguished the fire.

In the Znob-Novgorodske community, a granary and power lines were damaged.

Eastern Oblasts

Kharkiv Oblast

Kupyansk raion is again under enemy fire. The occupiers continue to destroy civilian infrastructure. As a result of the shelling, fires broke out in garages, cars and household buildings burned.

In Vovchansk and the settlements of the community, the russians are also launching artillery strikes, as a result of one of the shellings, private agricultural machinery was damaged.

Around midnight, the occupiers hit a residential building with a S-300 rocket in the village of Klugyno-Bashkyrivka. The injured woman, 67 years old, was hospitalized in a medical institution and provided with medical assistance, the patient will continue treatment on an outpatient basis. Another 24-year-old woman was treated on the spot. There is partial destruction of a five-story residential building.

Donetsk Oblast

On December 1, the russians wounded 6 civilians in Donetsk Oblast: 4 in Bakhmut and 2 in Kurakhove.

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion of the russian federation into Ukraine, 1,235 people have died in Donetsk Oblast, and 2,671 people have been injured. It is currently impossible to determine the exact number of dead and wounded in Mariupol and Volnovakha.

Pokrovsk and Pokrovsk raion

In the Donetsk direction, Kurakhove and Berestky came under fire. Fortunately, there were no casualties, but there is a lot of damage to private and multi-apartment buildings – we are establishing the exact consequences.

During the day, the occupiers shelled settlements in the east of the Pokrovsk raion: the cities of Avdiivka, Krasnohorivka, Kurakhove, the villages of Karlivka, Berestky, and Memryk.

On the occasion of the Day of People with Disabilities, an entertainment and educational event was held for pupils of the Pokrovsk Center «Myloserdia [Mercy]».

Kramatorsk and Kramatorsk raion

On December 1, the russian military hit Kostyantynivka with S-300 missiles. No one was injured, but 3 administrative buildings and 2 three-story buildings were damaged in the city.

The President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyi, awarded the Order «For Courage» III degree to the military serviceman from Kramatorsk Valery Gerovkin, who died in the JFO zone on December 1 last year. The award was presented to his relatives.

In the de-occupied Lyman, medics of the international organization «Likari bez kordoniv [Doctors without borders]» receive locals in the premises of a converted recreation center, since the city’s hospitals were destroyed by the russian military.

On December 1, the Department of Neonatal Pathology resumed work at the Kramatorsk Children’s Hospital, which underwent major renovations. The department is designed for 30 beds, including 6 intensive care beds and 10 beds for leaving premature babies.

Bakhmut and Bakhmut raion

In the Horlivka direction, the arrival in the center of Chasovoy Yar was recorded — the roof and windows of the house were damaged. It was also loud on the outskirts of the Toretsk and Soledar communities. No victims.

Luhansk Oblast

In the directions of Kreminnaya and Svatovoy, the Security Service of Ukraine (SSU) , as before, is moving forward.

In the Starobil raion, the russians are looking for all possible hangars to house as much equipment as possible. And it doesn’t matter what was located there before – agricultural machinery or production.

In Stanytsia Luhanska, lists of men suitable for mobilization are being formed. They are collected in organizations and enterprises of all forms of ownership.

Patrol police officers together with volunteers deliver rubber aid to de-occupied villages every day. Despite the constant shelling from the enemy, a significant number of people still remain in the liberated territories, they are not going to leave their homes and plan to spend the winter there.

Southern Oblast

Kherson Oblast

The shelling of Kherson by the russian military began on the 1st of December at around 11 p.m. Later there was another one. The center of Kherson was also shelled. Wherever the shells hit, there was destruction.

In Kherson, a woman died in her own apartment from shelling by the russia. The prosecutor’s office has started a pre-trial investigation.

In the temporarily occupied territory of Kherson, the russian military has intensified filtering measures.Russian occupiers check all vehicles, documents and telephones of local residents at checkpoints for entry and exit from the city of Henichesk.

Explosions are heard in Skadovsk, the russian military reports that training is being conducted.

In the Kherson Oblast, centralized gas supply was restored in 50 de-occupied settlements out of 86. In Kherson, the work of 9 base stations of Ukrainian mobile operators was restored. Residents of Korabelny, Suvorovsky and Dnipro districts can use voice communication and mobile Internet. After the de-occupation of Kherson, medicines began to be imported into the city. Currently, there are two pharmacies, you can get free medicines at Distribution Points, which are open on the basis of hospitals and polyclinics.

Every day, people who leave for Khmelnytsky by evacuation train gather at the Kherson railway station. Up to 200 people are sent for a flight in four reserved carriages.

Mykolayiv Oblast

Yesterday, the enemy struck the water area of ​​the Ochakiv community. There are no casualties.

In Mykolaiv, Pervomaisk, Voznesensk and Bashtanka districts, the day and night passed relatively calmly.

Roads are being restored in the liberated territories of the Mykolaiv Oblast. Currently, road workers are improving three sections of the highway P-81 Kazanka – Snigurivka – P-47. On the section of the road from the village of Berezneguvate to Snigurivka, a gravel-sand mixture is being laid. In the village of Pryshyb, work has already been completed.

Odesa Oblast

There was an explosion in Odesa in the evening. Eyewitnesses reported that a grenade exploded. Locals saw the ambulance taking away the bodies of people. The law enforcement agencies confirmed that among the injured are police officers with fractures and shrapnel injuries. Two employees are in serious condition.

An ex-policeman from Mariupol, who tortured and intimidated Ukrainians, will be tried in Odesa. In 2014, the man fled to Crimea and got a job in the russian guard, and after a full-scale invasion, he became the deputy chief of the occupation commandant’s office in the Kherson Oblast.

In the “Point of Invincibility” of the European Lyceum, the “Warm Wave” charity fair was held in support of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Among the lots were many works made by teachers, children and their parents with their own hands, as well as pastries and goodies. All funds collected at the charity event were donated to the needs of the military.

Central Oblasts

Dnipropetrovsk Oblast

On the night of the 2nd of December, the russian army shelled the Nikopol raion of the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. There are no dead or injured. The extent of the destruction is being clarified.

Dnipropetrovsk Oblast sent several trucks to the residents of the Visokopillya community. 80% of settlements and infrastructure were mutilated by russian missiles. After the liberation of the community from the russian occupiers, people return to the villages and towns. And they need help. Generators, chainsaws and groceries are in the cars. The kits include flour, oil, pasta and much more. The plans include new departures for the Kochubeyiv and Beryslav communities.

The patriotic film festival “Our Land” will be held in Dnipro. Screening of Ukrainian-made films will start on the 2nd of December. The film “Sniper. White Raven” directed by Maryan Bushan.

Kirovohrad Oblast

On the 1st of December, Ukrainian defender Viktor Dikonenko was released from russian captivity. The guy comes from the Onufriiv community of the Oleksandriya district of the Kirovohrad Oblast. For almost five years, he was brought up in the “Living Pearl” orphanage. His younger brother lives there now. After the beginning of the full-scale russian invasion, the soldier was sent to Mariupol. The connection with the boyfriend disappeared in March of this year.

The staff and deputies of the Priyutiv settlement council of the Oleksandriya raion took part in the purchase of a car for the military. Together with local businessmen, the regional union of veterans of the war in Afghanistan, and religious communities, we managed to collect money for a car and make an important purchase in the shortest possible time. The Citroen Berlingo multi-functional station wagon is the best option for use in combat conditions. The car has a large van and wide rear hinged doors. It can be used to transport goods or the wounded. The transport has already been sent to the front line.

Poltava Oblast

Maksym Korchomakha, a warrior from Poltava oblast , was killed in the battle for Ukraine. The 35-year-old soldier was a native of the Hadiach community. The senior soldier was killed near Stelmakhivka of Luhansk oblast.

In the village of Knyshivka, a senior soldier of the missile troops, senior driver of the A4020 military unit Serhiy Udovychenko was laid to rest. The 33-year-old serviceman was killed during an artillery shelling in Kharkiv oblast.

Soldier Serhii Marynych, a native of the village of Lypianka, of the Karlivka community, was killed near Bakhmut.

A 26-year-old sapper, who died because of an enemy trap, returned to Poltava oblast for the last time. Oleksandr Korpan went to war in late March and received numerous injuries as a result of an explosion while inspecting a building. He died while being transported to hospital.

Vinnytsia Oblast

Khmilnyk and Khmilnyk raion

The teachers and students of the lyceum of village of Kordelivka in Vinnytsia oblast are making army “cats” – a special device for removing tripwires of explosive devices and demining the territory. They decided to make such gifts for the defenders on the occasion of the Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The lyceum №3 in the town of Kalynivka of Khmilnyk raion, will be full of life again. The works on arrangement of temporary shelter for students have started here. Due to its absence, children study online, the new shelter will allow them to return to their desks.

Khmelnytskyi Oblast

Kamianets-Podilskyi

There are currently 7968 people with disabilities in the Kamyanets-Podilskyi community. 630 people with disabilities have found shelter here since the beginning of the full-scale war. In order to improve the conditions of movement of this category of citizens, the deputies of the city council allocated an additional UAH 250 thousand for the arrangement of exits on the sidewalks.

On the eve of the International Volunteer Day, a video contest of the City Association of School Volunteer Groups “Children Do Good” was held, which collected video works of students about their volunteer activities. The jury watched 14 videos and determined the best works. The first place was won by the lyceum №15 with an emotional story about a heartbreaking meeting of one of the schoolgirls with her military father.

Ukrainians from the island of Crete, who organized the first Ukrainian Saturday school for 30 children, applied to the initiative group, which is part of the “Active Community of Kamianets-Podilskyi”. They need modern textbooks in Ukrainian. The activists handed over books worth 5 thousand UAH.

Western Oblasts

Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast

The focus topic of the event: “Internally displaced persons and the real estate market. Loyalty. Support. Help”. Its purpose is to provide assistance to fellow citizens who have found shelter in the region. As of today, 42500 IDPs are registered here.

Rivne Oblast

Rivne Executive Committee allocated UAH 10 million for the arrangement of heating points and ensuring the functioning of the city in blackout conditions. The money will be provided from the budget reserve fund.

Rivne received two generators from the municipality of Singenfinger. They will be placed in the school and kindergarten in Kvasyliv. These institutions have been designated as strongholds for heating and assistance in case of emergencies. 

Chernivtsi Oblast

Bukovyna saw off the Heroes who died a brave death defending freedom and independence of Ukraine. Junior sergeant Bohdan Semenyuk said goodbye in the village of Bilivtsi, senior soldier Ivan Rusnak – in the village of Kruglyk, soldiers Volodymyr Panteleev – in the village of Nyzhni Synivtsi, Andriy Slyvka – in the village of Mykhailove.

Bukovinian defenders Sergeant Oleksandr Bykhovets, senior soldier Volodymyr Boyko, soldiers Aslan Bagirov, Oleksandr Balanetsky and Roman Vitanchuk were posthumously awarded with the Order “For Courage” of the III degree.

Within the framework of the “eRobota” program, 69 microgrants for a total amount of UAH 16 million have already been implemented in the Chernivtsi Oblast.

In Bukovyna, works on the overhaul of the premises where it is planned to accommodate internally displaced persons continue. Six buildings have been identified in Chernivtsi oblast, where repairs are being carried out at the expense of the regional and local budgets for a total of 24 million hryvnias. Thus, 440 places for long-term residence of IDPs will be created there.

Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, about 200 children and 300 adults have been sheltered in the sports and recreation camp “Your Camp” in the Yurkovetska community. These are, in particular, students from Bucha, Mykolaiv and other oblastss of Ukraine. Among them are also orphans and those who are in difficult life circumstances. Currently, about 50 children from Yuzhnoukrainsk, Pervomaisk and Mykolaiv live in the camp. About 100 more are ready to be accepted. In addition, a building is being completed on the territory, which, if necessary, will be able to accommodate another hundred people.
