Northern Oblasts

Kyiv

The electricity deficit in Kyiv decreased from 50% to 30-35%. However, currently the deficit is too large to switch to planned blackouts according to schedules.

The capital authorities, together with mobile operators, have developed an algorithm for uninterrupted communication in the event of a blackout – stations and towers of a national scale are provided with generators. Delivery of more than 40 Starlink satellite communication systems is also planned. They will be provided to district state administrations and hospitals.

In Kyiv, the number of fires is increasing due to non-compliance with safety rules when using gas appliances.

5,000 boxes will be placed in Kyiv high-rise buildings in case of blockage in the elevators. As reported by the KCSA, the boxes will be placed in buildings that are most often subject to stabilization and emergency power outages and where there is the greatest risk of getting stuck in elevators. Each box includes wet towels, dry wipes, trash bags, cookies, water, disposable cups, and a sedative.

The Security Service of Ukraine reported the suspicion to a priest from the Lavra who glorified “russkyi mir [russian world]”. During the investigation, the fact of illegal actions of one of the priests and his accomplices who participated in the divine service was established. This is confirmed by relevant expert studies.

Buses received by Kyiv from European partners continue to operate on the capital’s routes. Starting tomorrow, December 2, 18 Mercedes buses from those donated to us by the German cities of Munich, Zeven, Hanover and Regensburg will be operating on the routes of the capital.

The collective of the Zhytomyr City Council prepared gifts for the military for the Day of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. 200 kilograms of lard with garlic, spices and pepper, as well as honey, warm flasks, socks, thermal underwear will go to the front line.

“Cats for cats”. In Zhytomyr Oblast, sculptor Oleksiy Markovskyi from Korostyshev makes concrete cats, paints them and puts them up for a raffle on social networks. Together with volunteers, he collects money for a car for one of the Armed Forces brigades.

A small Zhytomyr boy bakes bread at home after school, spending 3-4 hours every day on this. Anyone could place an order. The first bread was sold while it was still hot in a small shop next to the house, and after that, mother was engaged in delivery around the city. After the boy collected 10,000 hryvnias, he gave them to Serhiy Prytula.

Chernihiv Oblast

Yesterday, russian troops shelled the Novgorod-Siversk community with tube artillery and dropped two munitions from drones. The military recorded 9 explosions.

In Nizhyn, they said goodbye to the defender who died in battle in the Kherson Oblast — senior soldier Serhiy Krykun.

Sumy Oblast

The night and morning in Sumy Oblast were free of shelling from the russian side. During the day, the enemy shelled three settlements of the Sumy Oblast: Khodyne and Vovkivka (Shalygyne community) and Novovasylivka (Znob-Novgorodske community).

Eastern Oblasts

Kharkiv Oblast 

The intensity of enemy shelling in the Kupyansk raion has increased several times.

During the day, the russians constantly fired artillery at settlements in the border communities of the raion. Fires broke out in houses, outbuildings, warehouses, and open areas were hit.

The border communities of Vovchansk and Lipetsk were also under shelling – garages were burned, facades of private houses were damaged.

Donetsk Oblast

The russian occupiers announced the shelling of the Voroshilovsky district of Donetsk. There are wounded.

On November 30, the russian military wounded 3 civilians in Donetsk Oblast — in Bakhmut.

Since the day of russia’s full-scale invasion of Ukraine, 1,235 civilians of Donetsk Oblast have been killed by enemy missiles, and another 2,665 have been injured. The number of victims in Mariupol and Volnovakha is currently unknown.

Pokrovsk and Pokrovsk raion

Russian invaders continue their offensive in the Avdiivka direction and are trying to capture Marianka.

In the east of Pokrovsk raion, there were a few random hits on the old part of Avdiivka at night, and in the morning the city center came under massive artillery fire. Also in the morning the enemy launched a missile attack on an infrastructure facility in Kurakhove – two people were wounded.

During the day the russian army shelled Krasnohorivka.

4000 loaves of bread for the residents of Rodynske of the Pokrovske community were brought today by the employees of the “Community Development Agency”. Such assistance was received by the Pokrovska community from the UN World Food Programme (WFP) and the Charitable Foundation “ADRA Ukraine”. They will distribute 2 loaves of bread per person.

Kramatorsk and Kramatorsk raion

In the Lysychansk direction, one person was injured and one house was destroyed in Torske of the Lyman community.

A woman was detained in Lyman who offered local residents to vote in a pseudo-referendum for food and handed over lists of local patriots to the invaders.

Bakhmut  

Bakhmut suffered the most in the Horlivka direction: two people were wounded, a house, a warehouse and an administrative building were damaged. In addition, sporadic shelling was recorded near Rozdolivka, Yakovlivka and Bakhmutske in the Soledar community.

Volnovakha and Volnovakha raion

In the Volnovakha direrction, russians shelled Vuhledar. At least six houses were damaged, no casualties.

Mariupol

The invaders turned Mariupol into a ghetto city, where people survive without professional medical care. There are almost no pharmacies in the city. It is very difficult to get medicines, and some are simply impossible. The residents with frostbite are often admitted to hospitals because there is no heating and windows in the houses.

Mariupol resistance reminded the invaders whom they really expect and trust. 

Luhansk Oblast

In order to stop the advance of Ukrainian soldiers in Svatove direction russians are engineering the defense line. They also continue to move personnel, ammunition and fuel there to man and supply new units and those that have suffered losses.

In Khrustalne, the russian authorities announced the completion of mobilization. However, patrolling of the city does not stop, men are thoroughly checked at the exits from the inhabited locality.

The crimes of the invaders in Nevske are documented by investigators of the Luhansk oblast police – they have been working directly in the village for a week. Since the beginning of work, on November 25, investigators have documented and opened criminal proceedings on 22 facts of violation of the laws and customs of war.

The enemy took almost 900 tons of grain (2021 harvest) from Starobilsk Elevator LLC. In particular, more than 600 tons of wheat grain and 275 tons of sunflower grain were stolen.

Southern Oblasts 

Zaporizhzhia Oblast

During the last day, on November 30, the russian military shelled 13 inhabitted localties in Zaporizhzhia oblast. There were 24 reports of destruction of houses and apartments, as well as infrastructure facilities as a result of shelling.

Deputy Chief Engineer of Zaporizhzhia NPP Yuriy Chernichuk was dismissed from his post by the relevant order of December 1. This decision is due to the presence of “confirmed information about his collaboration activities in favor of the invaders”.

Kherson Oblast

As a result of the shelling of Kherson by the russian troops on the night of November 30 to December 1, three houses in the KhBC district were damaged. In the liberated Lyubymivka, of Beryslav raion, law enforcement officers found the graves of two local residents who were probably killed by russian shelling. The police opened criminal proceedings under the article “Violation of the laws and customs of war”.

In Kherson direction russian troops are defending the previously occupied borders. They shelled Kachkarivka, Respublikanets, Matrosivka, Tokarivka, Antonivka and Kherson.

Police opened criminal proceedings against a couple from Kherson for cooperation with the invaders. The man and the woman denounced ATO participants, law enforcement officers who refused to cooperate with the russian authorities and served them for the sake of a position in law enforcement.

Police explosive experts inspected 14 hectares of the liberated territories of Kherson oblast and seized 75 explosive devices, destroyed 11. SES pyrotechnics inspected more than 43 hectares of territories, seized and defused 233 explosive items

Mykolaiv Oblast

As of 08:00 am on December 1, no shelling was registered in Mykolaiv oblast. 

On the territory of the Snihuriv community, works on inspection and demining of the territories from explosive objects left by the russian military continue. As of November 30, more than 300 hectares have been surveyed.

The residents of the liberated inhabited locallties of the Snihuriv community receive free bread and canned food twice a week. The supply of humanitarian aid began immediately after the de-occupation in November 2022.

Odesa Oblast

A monument to Oleksandr Suvorov is being dismantled in the city of Izmail. According to the decision of the city council, it should be transferred to the territory of the utility company.

In Odesa, the city’s electric transport resumed operation: trams and trolleybuses began to enter the routes.

On World AIDS Day, HIV testing campaigns were held in Odesa. This year, about 23,000 people have been tested for HIV in the city, and 1,462 cases of HIV infection have been detected. Odesa even exceeded European recommendations, according to which 95% of HIV patients should be under the supervision of doctors, and 95% of them should receive therapy. In Odesa, these indicators are currently 98 and 100 percent, respectively.

Central Oblasts

Dnipropetrovsk Oblast

On the night of the 1st of December, russian troops shelled the Nikopol raion of the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast from “Hrad”. There is damage to private houses, a gas pipeline, and a power line. 

On the afternoon of the 1st of December, due to the shelling of Nikopol by russian troops, an apartment in a high-rise building was occupied. Her owner, a 56-year-old man, was injured. Several high-rise buildings and power lines were damaged in the city. 

In Dnipro, there are “points of invincibility” in 40 schools where there are basic shelters. Here you can warm up, charge your phones, drink tea, etc.

Poltava Oblast

On the 24th of November, senior sergeant Oleksandr Piven from Poltava Oblast died near the city of Bakhmut, Donetsk Oblast.

Stanislav Halyava, a senior soldier, a senior rifleman of military unit A4020 from the village of Denisivka, was taken on his last journey. He died during a combat clash with a russian subversive group in the area of ​​the settlement of Uda in the Kharkiv Oblast.

Ihor Gerashchenko was drafted into military service in 2019. He had the rank of junior sergeant. A soldier died in battle on the 23rd November in the area of ​​Novomykhailivka settlement in Donetsk Oblast.

Oleksandr Pivnya was buried in Poltava Oblast, he heroically died on the 24th of November near the city of Bakhmut in Donetsk Oblast. In 2014-2015, he took part in an anti-terrorist operation. When he learned about the full-scale invasion of russia, he went to the military commissar as a volunteer.

The artist from Poltava, Kara Minasyan, and her charity fund UA WORLD ART FUND in Krakow collected almost 16,000 zlotys for the Armed Forces. Canvases of Ukrainian artists are bought by Ukrainians, Germans, Belgians, Dutch, French and Poles. The fund has already purchased one generator for defenders in the Kharkiv direction. And now he opened the collection for the second one.

Vinnytsia Oblast

A training was held in Kozyatyn, Khmilnyk raion, where they learned how to save lives. The emergency workers showed how to perform a heart massage, how to act if a person has suffocated, and how to make a tourniquet out of improvised materials if it is necessary to stop the bleeding. The training participants also had practical sessions.

Five hundred kilograms of fresh fish were processed by residents of the Cherepashyntsi community into canned food and home-made herring. All the fish were caught in a public pond. The product is intended for Ukrainian defenders.

In the Pikovets Starosta district, the Kozyatyn community of the Khmilnyл raion completed the distribution of charitable aid in the form of additional sets of barley and wheat groats, which were provided by the Public Association “Heart’s Call”.

Khmelnytsk Oblast

Kamianets-Podilskyi

At the regular session, the deputies of the Kamianets-Podilskyi City Council voted for several more programs designed to close military issues. More than 2 million hryvnias will be spent on vehicle repair, transportation, etc. In general, since the beginning of the full-scale war, more than 20 million hryvnias have been allocated to the defenders. In addition, another 12 wounded servicemen were given UAH 10,000 each. To date, 37 fighters have already submitted applications for such assistance to the Department of Social Security.

Today, by order of NEC “Ukrenergo”, the authorized capacity of the Khmelnytsk Oblast has been increased to 65% of the amount that the region consumed before the massive attacks. Residents of Kamianets-Podilskyi live in the conditions of not only planned and emergency power outages, but also problems with providing heat, water and drainage.

Municipal Enterprise “Miskteplovodenergia” together with the city authorities is working on equipping critical infrastructure facilities with generators. But in case of a complete blackout, it will be possible to supply the city with water only partially.

In accordance with the order of the mayor, measures have been organized to help single citizens in case of an emergency. Additional beds have been prepared in the “Turbota” center, which will take care of these people and provide them with everything they need.

The coordinators of “Active Community” Slavko Polyatynchuk and Halyna Boyko, together with students of the local vocational college of culture and arts, organized the documentary theater “Don’t cry, my house, let’s try…” One of the actors was Slavko Polyatynchuk. During the performance, 12 stories of people from Volnovakha, Bakhmut, Bucha, Mariupol, Mykolaiv Oblast, Kharkiv Oblast, Severodonetsk, Kherson were told. On Volunteer Day, which is celebrated on December 5, the entire cast was invited to perform another performance for the volunteer center.

Western Oblasts

Rivne Oblast

In the Rivne Oblast, they said goodbye to three defenders. Yury Melnychuk, a resident of the village of Pitushkiv, who was killed on the 26 of November during artillery shelling in the Bakhmut raion of the Donetsk Oblast, was carried out in the Mlyniv community for the last time.

In Volodymyrka, two fallen soldiers were buried – Oleg Bondar and Ivan Marchuk. Oleg Bondar served in the 14th separate mechanized brigade as a machine gunner. Died on the 10th of September, liberating the Kharkiv Oblast from occupation – as a result of enemy fire during the assault on the village of Male Vesele. Senior soldier Ivan Marchuk died on the 28th of November in a car accident while on duty.

In Rivne, 21 support lyceums were identified, which will receive people in the event of a complete blackout. Two facilities for the elderly and those in wheelchairs were also prepared. These premises will be equipped with generators, heat and Internet access. In the event of a power outage, people will be able to turn to the “Points of Unbreakability” for help, as well as to these institutions, the addresses of which will be published later. In particular, in the city, two facilities for people with reduced mobility and the elderly were identified and equipped with beds, mattresses, and generators.

Chernivtsi Oblast

In Khotyn, a farewell was held for the Hero, who defended the freedom and independence of Ukraine at the cost of his life. Soldier Denys Shevchenko, originally from Melitopol, defended his native land as part of military unit A0536.

Rescuers went from Chernivtsi to the south of Ukraine. The consolidated detachment includes 20 personnel and 7 units of equipment. They will carry out work on the restoration of life in the de-occupied settlements of the Kherson Oblast.

About 1,000 residents of Chernivtsi Oblast have visited “Points of Unbreakability” since its inception. The list of them has been expanded, here you can warm up, charge electronic gadgets, drink tea or get first aid.

Pupils, parents and teachers of Novoselytsa Lyceum No. 1 bought a car for the military. The group earned money for transport – selling sweets at a charity fair, collecting waste paper. In addition, the teachers transferred their daily earnings for the purchase.
