Northern oblasts

Kyiv

Prime Minister of Poland Mateusz Morawiecki arrived in Kyiv today and honored the memory of the Holodomor victims.

Prime Minister of Lithuania Ingrid Šimonite also came to the capital. The heads of governments of neighboring countries met with Ukrainian Prime Minister Denys Shmyhal.

MPs of the “Servants of the People” faction will inspect more than 530 “Centers of Invincibility” in the capital at the request of Kyiv residents to bring the work of Centers of Invincibility in the city of Kyiv in line with the information.

Kyiv Oblast

British Foreign Secretary James Cleverley also visited Irpin.

Forensic experts completed their work at the site of the missile’s hit in Vyshhorod. Commissions are already working to survey the destruction and determine the need for building materials required for reconstruction.

In the Kyiv Oblast, pyrotechnicians of the State Emergency Service destroyed 73,885 units of explosive devices. During the last day, measures were taken to detect explosive devices in 6 settlements of the Bucha, Fastiv and Vyshhorod raions.

Yesterday, on the eve of the Holodomor Victims Remembrance Day, an action was held in the center of Irpin to honor the memory of Ukrainians who died from the artificial famine organized by the communist authorities. The Mayor of Irpin Oleksandr Markushyn and other representatives of the City Council placed symbolic bread and flowers at the memorial cross and lit lamps.

By the decision of the “Ukrenergo”, emergency power outages continue in the oblast.

Chernihiv Oblast

Yesterday, on November 25, late in the evening, russians shelled the Semenivka community in the Chernihiv Oblast. The shelling was probably carried out from self-propelled artillery systems. Border guards recorded three explosions.

Sumy Oblast

During the night and in the morning, there was no shelling from russia in the Sumy Oblast, the military administration reported.

The Sumy Oblast sent aid to the Mykolaiv Oblast. In particular, an ambulance based on a Renault Master was delivered.

The aid also included backpacks for paramedics, equipped with everything necessary.

Eastern oblasts

Kharkiv Oblast

No russian attacks on Kharkiv were recorded over the day. 

The occupiers carried out missile and artillery strikes on the border areas of the oblast during the day.

Around 5 p.m., the russians hit Chuhuiv several times with S-300 missiles, causing damage to non-residential premises. There were no casualties. 

After midnight, 6 garages caught fire as a result of the strikes on Kupiansk. There were no casualties either.

Already in the morning, the occupiers again launched artillery strikes on Kupiansk. According to preliminary information, one person was wounded. 

Pyrotechnic units defused 297 explosive devices during the day.

Donetsk Oblast

On November 25, the russians wounded 4 civilians in the Donetsk Oblast: three in Bakhmut, and one person in Kramatorsk.

In total, since February 24, the russians have killed 1,223 civilians of the Donetsk Oblast, and wounded another 2,638. The number of victims in Mariupol and Volnovakha is currently unknown.

Kramatorsk and Kramatorsk Raion

In the Lysychansk sector, the shelling of Torske and Zarichne in the Lyman community continues: more than 70 hits were recorded there over the previous day. The number of casualties and the extent of damage are being clarified.

Gas supply was provided to residents of half of the houses in the Kostiantynivka community. Every day, experts connect the gas supply pipelines to more than ten apartment buildings.

Pokrovsk and Pokrovsk Raion

During the day, settlements in the east of the Pokrovsk Raion came under shelling. The russians targeted residential buildings. The enemy fired shells at the towns of Avdiivka, Ocheretyne, and the village of Karlivka. The occupiers fired from the S-300 air defense system, the Grad MLRS, artillery, and tanks.

Another batch of fuel briquettes was delivered to Novohrodivka community of the Pokrovsk Raion as part of the project “Response to emergency situations due to hostilities in Ukraine 2022” with the support of the International Charitable Foundation Caritas Ukraine, which is implemented by the Charitable Foundation Caritas Mariupol.

Bakhmut and Bakhmut Raion 

Russian troops fired at Chasiv Yar. Three people were injured, the section of a five-story residential building was destroyed by a direct hit, the outbuilding and the warehouse were damaged.

Isolated shelling of the Soledar community was recorded: a house was damaged in Blagodatne, and there were no damage or casualties in Paraskoviivka and Bakhmutske.

In general, the occupiers continue to focus their main efforts on conducting offensive actions in the Bakhmut and Avdiivka directions. Shelling was recorded in the areas of the settlements of Soledar, Bakhmutske, Bakhmut, Klishchiivka, Krasnohorivka, Vesele, Avdiivka, Opytne, Vodiane, Nevelske and Mariinka in the Donetsk Oblast.

Volnovakha and Volnovakha Raion

In the Volnovakha direction, periodic artillery shelling of Vuhledar and its surroundings was recorded. One house was damaged. No one was injured.

Mariupol

In Mariupol, people still live in tents. Their houses were bombed by the russians and new housing was not provided, because it is primarily “for their own” [for occupiers]. The tents are located near the Savona cinema, where the city’s residents hid during russian shelling. The people of Mariupol still cook food on the bonfires and sleep in the basements of the cinema.

Luhansk Oblast

Currently, more than 90% of the territory of Luhansk Oblast is still occupied. The Armed Forces of Ukraine are advancing, but due to weather conditions, it is not happening quickly.

The occupiers are shelling the de-occupied settlements of Nevske and Makiivka. There is still a civilian population there – more than 30 locals in Makiivka and 150 in Nevske. About 30 people remain in Makiivka, although there is not a single house in the village that has not been damaged by shelling.

In the cities of the Luhansk Oblast temporarily occupied by the russians, hospitals are full of wounded invaders. In Alchevsk, the oncology department is being closed in order to expand the military hospital.

Zaporizhzhia Oblast

Over the past day, November 25, the russian military shelled civilian infrastructure in the areas of 16 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia Oblast. 19 reports were received about the destruction of houses, apartments of citizens and infrastructure facilities.

The russian occupiers continue to put pressure on Zaporizhzhia NPP workers. According to the available information, individual employees who refuse to cooperate with the occupation authorities are not allowed to work.

The General Staff of the Armed Forces of Ukraine confirmed the losses of the russian army on November 24 in the temporarily occupied part of the Zaporizhzhia Oblast. In the city of Melitopol, the occupiers’ ammunition depot was destroyed, and about 50 invaders were injured of varying degrees of severity. In the Vasylivka Raion, two warehouses were destroyed, up to 130 occupants were injured, and 7 units of military equipment of various types were also destroyed.

Kherson Oblast 

In Lubymivka (Beryslav Raion), in the forest, a local resident blew herself up on an explosive device installed by the russian occupiers. She died on the spot.

Police sappers examined almost 450 hectares of liberated territories of the oblast and seized more than 3.5 thousand explosive items.

In Bilozerka, the police exposed three collaborators. They held the illegal positions of “deputy head of the local occupation authority”, “head of the utility company” and “responsible for economic issues” and were paid for this.

In the Kherson Oblast, traffic was restored on the road near Klapaya and a pontoon crossing was built near Dariivka.

In Kherson, electricity was supplied to the main sewage pumping station and treatment facilities.

Gas supply was restored in Fedorivka and Ulianivka. Work is also underway to connect subscribers in Nova Oleksandrivka and Velyka Oleksandrivka.

The International Committee of the Red Cross delivered to Novovorontsovka three truckloads of building materials sets for the reconstruction of houses after shelling by the russian military.

Mykolaiv Oblast 

As of 7:50 a.m. on November 26, no enemy shelling was recorded on the territory of the Mykolaiv Oblast.

As of the morning of November 26, there are 254 people in Mykolaiv hospitals who suffered from the shelling by russian troops.

Central oblasts

Dnipropetrovsk Oblast

In the morning, the russians launched 2 missiles on Dnipro. More than 20 private houses were damaged. 13 people sought medical help, one woman was in serious condition. The dog died. Several thermal points were disabled due to enemy attack.

During the night, the russians shelled the Nikopol Raion 5 times with Grad multiple rocket launchers and heavy artillery. Almost 60 shells were fired at Nikopol, Marganets and surrounding villages. It passed without casualties or injuries.

Due to the blackout, the Dnipro residents lined up for water and collected it from the river. The city of Dnipro was without water and electricity and partially without heating for 2 days.

“ArcelorMittal Kryvyi Rih” has suspended steel production until the stabilization of energy supply in the country.

The Dnipropetrovsk Oblast helps the cities and villages of Southern Ukraine. Four trucks with water, flour, oil, sugar, milk, canned food, and baby food arrived in Kherson. 15 excavators, dump trucks, and truck towers were provided with assistance from the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. And also 5 passenger buses. This was realized thanks to the work of the oblast military administration and the leadership of the cities of the oblast.

The city authorities of Dnipro together with the TAPS-Ukraine Foundation and the Coordination Headquarters of Volunteers handed over dry rations, canned goods, porridge with meat, sweets and juices to the defenders. And also dishes, kettles and thermoses. Volunteers brought warm clothes, hygiene products, mattresses and bed linen to one of the Dnipro shelters, where internally displaced persons were housed.

In Dnipro, schoolchildren weave camouflage nets and make trench candles for the Armed Forces. Parents and teachers help children. 

In the city of Pokrov, 5th grade student Ksenia Maliutina sings and fundraises money for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. For several months now, almost every day, the girl goes outside and sings patriotic songs to help the military shell the enemy out of our country as soon as possible.

Kirovohrad Oblast

In the Kirovohrad Oblast, the number of patrols that monitor law and order in the oblast has been doubled. Currently, there are 107 foot and car patrols – police officers, national guard, representatives of volunteer formations. Photo 

In Svitlovodsk of the Kirovohrad Oblast, a sewing factory from the Kherson Oblast will start operating. 200 people are employed. The minimum wage at the enterprise will be 12 thousand hryvnias. The company has been working in the light industry for more than ten years. Their customers are the power structures of Ukraine. 

Poltava Oblast

On June 18, near the village of Novobakhmutivka, a senior soldier from Horishni Plavni Viacheslav Kinder died. In 2015-2016, 2018, he participated in ATO/JFO (Joint Forces Operation). He defended the country on the front line in the Donetsk Oblast.

The Secret Service of Ukraine exposed residents of the Poltava Oblast who called the murders of Ukrainians “purification of russia from the devil” and justified russia. The suspects spread anti-Ukrainian content on social networks and among their acquaintances, called the Ukrainian defense forces “punitive forces” on social networks, and captured military personnel as nazis. The suspects are residents of the Kremenchuk Raion, Myrhorod and Reshetylivka.

The monument to Pushkin in Poltava was painted with red paint and the inscriptions “Rusnia”, “Znesty”(demolish) and “PSHK PNH” (Pushkin go f*** yourself). In Ukraine, since the beginning of the full-scale war, de-russification has begun: monuments to russian figures, memorial plaques, and renaming of streets that are somehow associated with russia are being demolished. In Poltava, only one plaque to Paskevych was dismantled, but no other steps were taken to de-russify the city.

Western oblasts

Rivne Oblast

The energy companies managed to revive the lines for the movement of trolleybuses, from November 26, part of the electric transport went back to the routes.

Starting Monday, classes in lyceums, gymnasiums and kindergartens in Rivne will resume. In the absence of electricity, the study will continue during daylight hours.

A pensioner donated 10,000 hryvnias to the Armed Forces. 87-year-old Viacheslav Naydenov from Varash handed over 10,000 hryvnias of his own savings for our defenders to the Volunteer Headquarters of the Varash community. In August of this year, the man also donated over 35,000 hryvnias to the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Chernivtsi

Bukovyna said goodbye to the Hero, who defended the freedom and independence of Ukraine at the cost of his life. Residents of the village of Yordaneshty led soldier Oleg Opaiets to his last journey.

More than 1,400 displaced people are safe thanks to the “Help For Ukrainians” fund. Its director, Dmytro Maksymovich, moved to Chernivtsi from Kyiv after the beginning of the full-scale war. Since April, the fund has been helping people with limited mobility who lost their homes find shelter due to the war.

The team of the AUI “Active Community of Chernivtsi” in cooperation with the Bukovyna Center of Culture and Art organized a master class on creating jewelry in the style of vytynanka. The goal of art therapy is the psycho-emotional relief of the participants thanks to joint creativity, self-knowledge, overcoming anxiety and increasing vitality. People’s Master of Ukraine Vasyl Bezhenar taught how to create beauty. The event brought together almost 20 volunteers, including 13 forced migrants from Kharkiv, Zaporizhzhia, Balaklia, Kyiv, and Uman.

Zakarpattia Oblast

In Chop, they said goodbye to the fallen soldier Oleksandr Oliynyk. The soldier died while performing a combat mission to protect the city of Izium of the Kharkiv Oblast. He had his wife, daughters, parents and brother.

In Uzhgorod, an exhibition of drawings on the topic of resisting domestic violence was organized. Students of the Zakarpattia Academy of Arts took part in the exhibition. Thus, they joined the campaign “16 days against violence”, the purpose of which is to draw attention to the need to overcome violence in families, child abuse, combating human trafficking and protecting women’s rights.
