Kyiv

A 48-kilowatt solar power plant was put into operation at Zhytomyr Hospital No. 1. It will work in tandem with a generator to improve the security of the hospital’s power supply. The project was implemented as part of the Solar Aid to Ukraine initiative. This is Zhytomyr’s first experience in installing solar power plants at critical infrastructure facilities.
Chernihiv Oblast
On July 7, russians shelled two border area communities of the Chernihiv Oblast, namely Semenivka and Novhorod-Siversk, with mortar and artillery shells. In total, over the last day, russians carried out eight shelling attacks. 72 explosions were recorded.
Sumy Oblast
At night and in the morning, the russian military shelled eight communities in the Sumy Oblast. A total of 69 explosions were recorded.
In the Shostka Raion of the Sumy Oblast, the Armed Forces of Ukraine shot down a russian drone.

Kharkiv Oblast
During the day, the occupiers carried out air, mortar and artillery strikes in the Kupiansk, Kharkiv, Izium, Chuhuiv, and Bohodukhiv raions.
The enemy launched 7 mortar attacks on the village of Tymofiivka, Bohodukhiv Raion. A private house and outbuildings were damaged.
The occupiers also shelled the village of Ivashky with artillery. About 10 attacks were made on the territory of civilian agricultural enterprises. There were no casualties.
As a result of the enemy shelling, a coniferous forest caught fire near the village of Kucherivka, Kupiansk Raion. The coniferous litter was burning on an area of about 3 hectares.
The occupiers shelled the city of Vovchansk. A 9-storey residential building was damaged. A 62-year-old man was wounded. He received a shrapnel wound and was hospitalized.

At night, the russian army attacked Kherson, Inzhenerne, and Zelenivka. Artillery shelled the left bank in the area of the Antonivsky Bridge. In total, on July 7, the Kherson community was hit 24 times.
In the Kherson Oblast, within the framework of the “Side by Side” program, the restoration of 26 settlements has begun. Experts from the Rivne, Khmelnytskyi, Cherkasy, Dnipropetrovsk , Ternopil, and Chernivtsi oblasts joined it.
An open art festival of murals in bomb shelters “From the Constitution to Independence” is being held in Kherson. It was organized to support the Kherson people and give an attractive look to the concrete shelters. The festival will last until August 24.

Dnipropetrovsk Oblast

Poltava Oblast

Poltava Oblast allocates 50 million for the reconstruction of de-occupied villages of Kherson Oblast. The destroyed infrastructure will be restored within the framework of the “Side by Side” pilot project. It is about Chkalov and Pravdyna. Chkalov was under occupation for 9 months, 126 houses and 5 social facilities should be restored there, Pravdyne was under occupation from February 24 to November 9, 2022, and 424 damaged houses need to be restored here.

Lviv Oblast
In Lviv, urgent emergency response work was started in buildings destroyed by russian missiles. Next, the destroyed buildings, which belong to the UNESCO World Heritage buffer zone and are architectural monuments of local importance, are awaiting restoration.
Khmelnytskyi Oblast
Kamianets-Podilskyi
Khmelnytskyi will help restore the village of Visokopillya of Beryslav raion. About 4,000 people lived here in peacetime. This settlement was occupied and was liberated by the Armed Forces of Ukraine last September. Destruction in the community is about 80%. First of all, people’s housing and social infrastructure facilities will be restored.
Chernivtsi Oblast
Cooperation between Ukraine and Romania and partnership at the regional level were discussed during the meeting by the head of the Chernivtsi regional military administration, Ruslan Zaparanyuk, and the State Secretary of Romania for Strategic Affairs, Julian Fota.
