Northern oblasts

Kyiv

In Kyiv, they began to register all those willing to attend a one-day training course on preparation for national resistance. Classes are free. Trainings will be held in several areas.

Six more Warsaw railcars arrived in Kyiv as part of technical assistance from Polish colleagues. In total, the Kyiv metro has received 18 cars, and 42 more are planned to be delivered by the end of this year.

Kyiv Oblast

The Security Service of Ukraine (SBU) reported the opening of criminal proceedings against the rector of the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate in Borodianka. He is suspected of helping the russian military during the occupation of the region last year. In particular, he set up a torture chamber on the territory of the temple in Borodianka.

In the Bucha, Bila Tserkva, and Vyshhorod raions, units of the State Emergency Service were busy destroying explosive ordnance. Residents of the raions and the outskirts of the capital could hear the sounds of explosions.

Zhytomyr Oblast

The Zhytomyr Oblast will help rebuild a village in the de-occupied Kherson Oblast – 12 construction crews have gone to the Velyka Oleksandrivka community.

Due to bad weather, 81 settlements in the Zhytomyr Oblast were left without electricity.

A charity auction will be held in Zhytomyr to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This decision was supported by the members of the executive committee of the City Council. The auctioneer is Yuriy Horbunov, and the guest stars are Oleksandr Ponomariov and Mykhailo Khoma (DZIDZIO).

Chernihiv Oblast

On July 6, russian troops shelled the border area of the Novhorod-Siversk community in the Chernihiv Oblast. Also, in the afternoon, russians fired artillery at the village of Hirsk in the Snovsk community. Border guards counted eight hits. There were no reports of casualties among the local population or damage to civilian infrastructure.

Lightning strikes caused fires in three communities in the Chernihiv Oblast.

As a result of weather conditions, 240 settlements with more than 66 thousand consumers are de-energized in the oblast.

Sumy Oblast

Over the past day, 103 explosions were recorded in the Sumy Oblast as a result of russian shelling of six communities.

At night and in the morning of July 7, the russian military shelled the Sumy Oblast 5 times. 18 explosions were recorded.

As of July 7, 136 settlements in the Sumy Oblast are without electricity. This is due to bad weather and russian shelling.

Eastern oblasts

Kharkiv Oblast

This afternoon, the russian military shelled Tymofiivka in the Zolochiv Raion. There is no power supply in the village, a private house and outbuildings were damaged. The russian federation also carried out about 10 shelling attacks on the Ivashky incubator and the territory of the Alfa enterprise. No one was injured.

Three of the 45 fighters who were returned from captivity on July 6 are residents of the Kharkiv Oblast.

In the Kharkiv Oblast, the area is being cleared of mines with the help of special equipment. Four harvesters are currently used for demining. The most heavily mine-contaminated areas in the Kharkiv Oblast are those where the line of contact used to run.

Out of 450 settlements in the Kharkiv Oblast that were cut off from power supply as a result of shelling, 83 remain without electricity. Most of them are frontline settlements.

Kindergartens, schools, colleges and universities in the Kharkiv Oblast got the permission to return to offline education. Classes will resume in those institutions that have specialized shelters.

The ban on holding mass and cultural and entertainment events has been lifted in the Kharkiv Oblast. It will be possible to hold performances and concerts in buildings with existing protective structures.

Donetsk Oblast

On July 6, russian troops conducted 26 attacks on 16 settlements in the Donetsk Oblast. They dropped FAB-250 bombs, attacked with drones, and fired artillery, tanks, mortars, and MLRS.

On July 6, one person was killed and five other residents of the Donetsk Oblast were wounded as a result of the shelling by the russian army.

Since February 24, 2022, the russians have killed 1,596 civilians of the Donetsk Oblast and wounded another 3,804 people. The number of victims in Mariupol and Volnovakha is currently unknown.

Ukrzaliznytsia launches an additional train to the Donetsk Oblast. Starting July 11, the train will stop in Sloviansk and return the next day. The decision was made due to high demand for tickets on this route.

Farmers in the Donetsk Oblast have started harvesting early grain and leguminous crops. This year, due to hostilities, it was possible to sow only a little more than half of the fields.

Kramatorsk and Kramatorsk Raion

In the Lysychansk sector, there were 16 shelling attacks on the Lyman community: 2 houses were destroyed and 1 damaged in Kolodiazi, 1 house was destroyed and 1 damaged in Yampolivka.

Pokrovsk and Pokrovsk Raion

In the Donetsk sector, Avdiivka came under a missile attack. Shelling of Krasnohorivka and Kostiantynivka of the Maryinka community, as well as the outskirts of the Ocheretyne community was recorded. Last day, russians shelled the Kurakhove community 5 times, damaging 3 houses in Illinka and an infrastructure facility in Hirnyk.

Bakhmut and Bakhmut Raion

In the direction of Horlivka, the Toretsk community was subjected to numerous shelling. In Toretsk, one person died and two were injured, 11 houses, kindergartens and two shops were damaged; in Pivnichne, one person was injured, four houses and three infrastructure objects were damaged.

A high-rise building, a private house and two non-residential buildings were damaged in the Chasiv Yars community. Vasiukivka and Rozdolivka were under fire in the Soledar community.

In the direction of Bakhmut, the Ukrainian military continues to advance. In the Klishchiivka area, they are successful. They are gaining ground in new positions.

Volnovakha and Volnovakha Raion

In the Volnovakha direction, Vuhledar and Prechystivka came under fire. There are no casualties.

Luhansk Oblast

Private houses in the occupied Kreminna and the outskirts of the city in the Luhansk Oblast are taken by the russian military. They don’t let the owners into the yard of houses occupied arbitrarily.

In the occupied Luhansk Oblast, the occupiers will take away driver’s licenses for failure to appear at the so-called military commissariat. Such innovations will come into effect on July 11.

Mariupol

Southern oblasts

Mykolaiv Oblast

On the night of July 7, the russian army shelled Ochakiv. As a result of the impact of ammunition and debris from them, three fires broke out. Information about the injured and dead is being clarified.

On July 7, the russian army struck the Horokhiv community, and also attacked Ochakiv with “Shahed-136”.

In Mykolaiv, an exhibition of burned russian equipment is taking place on Admiralska Street.

Among the destroyed russian armored vehicles are a reconnaissance and surveillance vehicle, an infantry fighting vehicle, an armored personnel carrier and a light multi-purpose transporter-tractor.

Zaporizhzhia Oblast

During the past day, on July 6, the russian military shelled 11 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia Oblast. So far, 20 reports of the destruction of residential infrastructure have been recorded.

A 56-year-old woman died as a result of shelling by the russian military in the city of Huliaipole of the Zaporizhzhia Oblast.

Today, July 7, the russian army launched a missile attack on Zaporizhzhia. S-300 projectiles hit the infrastructure facility, causing one of the buildings to catch fire. There were no casualties or injuries.

As of July 7, the water level in the cooling pond of the ZNPP has not changed since yesterday and remains at 16.54 meters. This is enough for the needs of the station.

In the Zaporizhzhia Oblast, the water level in the lower pool of the Dnipro HPP has decreased and is 12 m 3 cm, which is 2 m 47 cm below the norm.

Odessa Oblast

The Odesa Oblast will join the “Side by Side” project, which will help restore three villages in the Kherson Oblast: Novodmytrivka, Kyselivka, and Blahodatne. They were under occupation, the Armed Forces deocupated them last fall. In total, 257 facilities are planned to be restored in these villages, including kindergartens, schools, medical facilities and residential buildings.

The Office of Urban Planning and Restoration under the patronage of the Odesa Mayor is conducting a series of consultations with world-class architects regarding the reconstruction of Kateryninska Square. Marco Ardielli, an Italian architect and senior director of the architectural company Ardielli Fornasa Associati, provided his suggestions and advice on the future appearance of the square and the architectural ensemble.

Kherson Oblast

During the day, russian troops shelled the Kherson Oblast 77 times with all types of weapons. 37 shells were fired in Kherson. Residential quarters, the House of Culture in Tavriysk and a shop in the regional center were hit. Ten people were injured.

On the night of July 7, russian troops hit the right bank of the Kherson Oblast with a S-300 missile. There is destruction of residential buildings and educational institutions. Data on the victims has not yet been received. Also at night, the russian military shelled Ingulets, Vysoke and Oleksandrivka, located deep from the front line.

At night, the army of the aggressor country launched rocket attacks on populated areas in Darivka and Tiahynka communities. They targeted the school and the territory of a private house. There are no casualties or injuries.

Antonivka and the area of ​​the bridge on the left bank were also under artillery fire of the russian army at night. Mortars were fired at the enemy in Korabelny District. In total, 29 strikes were carried out on the Kherson community during the day. Five residents of the community were injured

Today at around 10 a.m., the russian army attacked Kozatske and Vesele. Four guided aerial bombs were released on populated areas. The facade of cultural monuments, the premises of a manufacturing enterprise and houses were damaged. There are no casualties or injuries.

During the past day, fires broke out on 44 hectares in the Kherson Oblast as a result of russian shelling. Crop fields and ecosystems burned. 

15 oblasts of Ukraine will help individual communities of the Kherson Oblast to rebuild damaged housing and social facilities. The restoration of settlements destroyed by the russian military will take place within the framework of the all-Ukrainian pilot project “Side by Side”.

Central Oblasts

Dnipropetrovsk Oblast

In Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, two men died due to debris from a downed drone falling on a car traveling on the highway. One drone targeted a private enterprise in the Kryvyi Rih raion. There was a fire. The flames covered more than 100 square meters.

In total, on the night of July 7, the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed 6 drones of the russia that attacked the region.

On the night of July 7, russian troops struck Nikopol four times with barrel artillery. There are no casualties or injuries.

Dnipropetrovsk Oblast will help rebuild three of the 26 villages and towns of Kherson Oblast that suffered the most from russian aggression and occupation. More than 150 specialists will be involved in the process.

In Dnipro, a special redemption of the “To the fight!” stamp took place. from Ukrposhta. It depicted a sculpture by the Dnipro craftswoman Iryna Gubanova – a doll with a weapon in her hands.

The circulation of the stamp is limited to one thousand copies. You can buy it only in the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.

A personal exhibition of photos by a lieutenant colonel of the National Guard of Ukraine Andrii Karpenko “Paths to peace — roads of war” opened in the Dnipro House of Arts. It presented 20 photos taken by the author during the hostilities in Ukraine. The photos show winter, spring, summer and autumn in the war zone in Donbas. 

Kirovohrad Oblast

Resident of the village of Stara Osota, Kropyvnytskyi district, senior soldier Vitaly Maletych, born in 1998, was posthumously awarded the III degree “For Courage” Order. The defender died in May 2022. The state award was handed over to the family of the fallen defender.

Tetyana Shchepban, a resident of the village of Bezvodnya, Sokolivka community, Kropyvnytskyi raion, donated the funds paid by the state for her son who died in the Ukrainian-russian war, for the repair of the hall in the school in the village of Ivanovka, which was completed by the fallen soldier and is currently being studied by his son and nieces.

Kirovohrad Oblast undertook to rebuild the village of Mala Oleksandrivka in Kherson Oblast as part of the “Side by Side” project.

Poltava Oblast

Three defenders of Mariupol were awarded “For Courage” orders posthumously: their families received their awards. 19-year-old Pavlo Skirda served in the 36th brigade as a gunner of the marine division. Together with Pavel, 24-year-old Dmytro Shramko served in the same brigade. He was the commander of the marine corps. Andriy Hreba was a technician of a reactive artillery battery.

Defender Serhii Avramenko from Poltava Oblast was returned from captivity. He was among 47 Ukrainians who were returned from russian captivity on July 6. Voin lives in the Hrebinka community.

The “Veteran” center appeared in Poltava – the result of the hospital joining the Sklifosovsky regional hospital. The reorganization of the hospital for war veterans has almost been completed. The employees of the institution have joined the staff of the hospital, and one of the buildings will be turned into a rehabilitation center.

Additional funding was directed to the arrangement of Heroes’ Alley in Zaturyn. The decision to allocate 11 million 300 thousand hryvnias was made by 25 deputies. Project and estimate documentation should be ready by the end of next week. Then they will start announcing tender purchases. Paths, lighting and a monument in the form of a large cross will be installed on Heroes’ Alley.

Western Oblasts

Lviv Oblast

The search and rescue operation in Lviv was completed. As a result of a rocket attack on Lviv, 10 people died, 42 were injured.

During the night, rescuers unblocked the bodies of five victims, most of them on the first floor of the destroyed residential building. The work was complicated by the high density of construction debris on the lower floors. The last found body of a woman was freed from the rubble with the help of a crane.

Khmelnytskyi Oblast

Kamianets-Podilskyi

96 young people from Kamian went on vacation to the “Forest Song” children’s camp. Children of the military, from large families, orphans, and other privileged categories received vouchers from the city council. Another group of children of Ukrainian defenders, 17 people, was sent to the partner city of Sanok (Poland). They will be abroad during the week.

Fodder, vitamins and cages for four-legged friends were brought by representatives of the Kamianets-Podilskyi “Town Hall” Public Organization, which takes care of homeless animals, during another trip to the Kherson Oblast. Chernivtsi Oblast

Zakarpattia Oblast

At the “Owl’s Nest” humanitarian aid center, this week volunteers gave out more than 300 sets of products, hygiene products, and things for children under 2 years old to displaced persons registered in Uzhhorod. You could also get clothes, bed linen, and dishes here (a total of 1,800 items were issued).
