Northern Oblasts
Kyiv
On Maidan Nezalezhnosti, relatives of the marines defending Mariupol gathered for a peaceful rally.
The Kyiv City Council has banned russian-language cultural products in public places of the capital. In particular, this applies to music, cinema, books, theater and circus performances, concerts.
On July 11, training on preparation for national resistance for residents of the capital began. The first participants learned about the basics of mine and explosive safety, marksmanship training, the basics of tactical medicine, and during practical classes they learned the skills of firing from an AK-74 machine gun on a laser simulator.
Women’s field military uniform from the Ministry of Defense was protested in Kyiv. Specialists of the Ministry of Defense, as well as manufacturers and volunteer organizations worked on the uniform. Among the innovations: a drawstring on the petticoat to adjust the excess volume of fabric on the back, a shortened petticoat and slits on the sides for the convenience of bending and squatting, an inflated waistline in pants with a «tunnel» belt, etc. The test participants passed the «young fighter’s course», which includes tactical military techniques, overcoming obstacles, march-throw and shooting.
Another 14 toponyms were de-russified in Kyiv. In particular, Pushkin Park now bears the name of Ukrainian writer Ivan Bagryany.
Kyiv Oblast
Explosive objects were destroyed in Boryspil raion today.
Chernihiv Oblast
During the day, the russians shelled the Semenivka, Snovsk and Novgorod-Siverskyi communities. As a result of shelling of the village of Zaliznyi Mist, an agricultural enterprise was damaged.
On the morning of July 14, russian troops shelled the Semenivka community in Chernihiv Oblast. Border guards recorded six explosions in the direction of the city of Semenivka and eight explosions in the direction of the village of Zaliznyi Mist.
Sumy Oblast
During the day of July 13, the russians shelled Sumy Oblast 23 times. A man was killed in Velyka Pysarivka community, two private houses and power lines were damaged. In Krasnopillia, a house caught fire as a result of shelling, and two houses were damaged.
On the night and morning of July 14, the russian military shelled the border areas of Sumy Oblast three times, 15 explosions were recorded. The communities of Yunakivka, Khotin and Nova Sloboda came under fire.
Eastern Oblasts
Kharkiv Oblast
During the past day, the enemy continued shelling the settlements of Bogodukhiv, Kharkiv, Chuguyiv, Izyum and Kupyansk raions. In particular, the areas of Muravske, Oliynykove, Riznykove, Bologhivka, Krasne Pershe, Novomlynsk, Dvorichna, Zapadne, Kupyansk and others were under enemy fire.
In the area of Kislivka and Kotlyarivka of the Kupyansk raion, the russian occupiers used combat aviation.
No victims or victims among the civilian population were recorded.

Donetsk Oblast
During July 13, the occupiers shelled 11 towns and villages of the Donetsk Oblast. The russian army hit civilians 17 times with aviation, Uragan, Smerch, Grad, and artillery.
In Donetsk Oblast, one person was killed in shelling by the russian army yesterday. Four others were injured.
In total, since February 24, 2022, the russians have killed 1,610 civilians of Donetsk Oblast, and injured another 3,846 people. The number of victims in Mariupol and Volnovakha is currently unknown.
In the Eastern direction of the front, the most active situation remains in the Bakhmut and Lymano-Kupyansk directions. There, the russian army fired more than 1,000 artillery strikes. Instead, the Ukrainian military destroyed about 400 invaders, three tanks and other heavy equipment.
Kramatorsk and Kramatorsk raion
One person was injured in the Lysychansk direction in Siversk, and 4 infrastructure objects were damaged. 10 shellings of the Lyman community were recorded.
In Kostyantynivka, a house was damaged, Predtechyne was shelled.
Defense forces with the help of HIMARS destroyed the expensive russian S-400 Triumph air defense system, which was located near Debaltseve. According to the information available at the Center for Strategic Communications, this is the same S-400 from which the Iskander missile was fired at a pizzeria in Kramatorsk. On June 27, 12 people, including three children, died because of a missile strike.
Pokrovsk and Pokrovsk raion

The law enforcement officers detained a resident of Dobropillya, who was filming the movement of military equipment from his balcony and passed it on to a russian FSB agent. The man faces up to 15 years in prison.
Bakhmut and Bakhmut raion
In the Horlivka direction in the Toretsk community, 1 person was injured and 3 houses were damaged in Shcherbynivka, 2 buildings were damaged in New York.
In the Chasiv Yar community, 1 person was injured, 3 private houses and a high-rise building were damaged. 10 houses were destroyed in Kleban-Byk of the Illinivka community.
The defense forces continue offensive actions to the south and north of Bakhmut: they were successful in the direction of Bila Hora — Avdiyivka and are entrenched at the achieved boundaries.
Volnovakha and Volnovakha raion
In the Volnovakha direction, the russians damaged farm buildings in Bogoyavlenka, shelled Vuhledar with artillery 26 times.
Mariupol
In occupied Mariupol, the creation of a mural with a girl on whom “NATO shells are falling” was completed. The author is an Italian artist who actively paints murals in russia. The Italian artist Jorit painted a portrait of a girl on the 9th floor in the Kirov district. On the wall is a picture of the girl Nastya, whom he saw at one of the racist propaganda exhibitions. According to the artist’s idea, the girl is crying because “NATO shells are falling on her”.
Southern Oblasts
Mykolayiv Oblast
On the night of July 14, in Mykolaiv Oblast, the forces and means of anti-aircraft defense destroyed two Shahed-136/131 type attack UAVs.
At night, on July 13, the enemy fired artillery at the water area of the Ochakiv community. There are no casualties.
In Mykolaiv, Pervomaisk, Bashtanka and Voznesensk raions, the day and night passed relatively calmly.
Zaporizhzhia Oblast
During the past day, July 13, the russian military shelled 21 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia Oblast. One person died, four were injured.
The Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine supported the request to the President of Ukraine regarding the award of the “Hero City of Ukraine” award to Gulyaipole, Zaporizhzhia Oblast.
Odesa Oblast
At night over Odesa Oblast, anti-aircraft defense shot down eight drones.
In the region, due to night weather, 11 settlements remained without electricity, 5 of them – partially. The largest number of outages occurred in the Izmail district. Currently, energy workers are working on restoring the electricity supply.
Kherson Oblast
During the past day, the russian military shelled the Kherson Oblast 76 times. 40 shells were fired in Kherson. They hit residential quarters, an administrative building in the Novooleksandrivka community, two enterprises and a garage cooperative in the Kherson raion. One person died, another was injured.
During the past 24 hours, 4.5 hectares of fire broke out in the Kherson Oblast as a result of russian shelling. Commercial buildings and open areas were burning.
During the day, on the left bank of the Kherson region, the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed four electronic warfare stations and two video surveillance complexes of the russian army. They also eliminated 11 military personnel who were maneuvering on three boats.
In the Kherson Oblast, the so-called “deputy head of the Chornobayivka community” will be tried for collaborationism. He managed the company’s property and paid wages to employees in russian rubles. He faces up to 10 years in prison.
In the Kherson Oblast, on July 13, a local fire department was opened in Borozenske. This is the eleventh station that became operational in the de-occupied communities of the region. It will serve all settlements of the Borozenske community and is equipped with a fire truck, special clothing and fire extinguishers.
Central Oblasts
Dnipropetrovsk Oblast
At night on July 14, russian troops attacked Dnipropetrovsk Oblast with drones. There were hits in Kryvyi Rih. A 56-year-old man was wounded. He will be treated at home. A utility company was damaged. One administrative building on its territory was destroyed, and three more were damaged. Special equipment was damaged. A transport company and two two-story buildings were also damaged.
The russian military also shelled the Synelnyky Raion with artillery. A warehouse, a private house, and a power line were damaged. No one was injured or killed.
Kirovohrad Oblast
In Kirovograd Oblast, families of missing and captured soldiers will be paid 10 thousand hryvnias. The money will be paid from the community budget. This decision was made during a session of the city council.
Construction workers from Novoukrainka Raion, Znamianka, Ustynivka, and the city of Dolynsk in Kirovohrad Oblast have begun to repair damaged homes for residents of Mala Oleksandrivka village in Kherson Oblast. They are doing this as part of the “Side by Side” project. So far, builders from Kirovohrad Oblast have repaired the roofs of private houses in the village damaged by the explosions and installed new windows and doors.
Poltava Oblast
Poltava has completed the construction of a modular town for IDPs with 500 beds. It was built on the territory of one of the regional medical institutions. In addition to the houses, there are two playgrounds, one sports ground, and four wooden gazebos. The town will be opened by the Vice Prime Minister of Ukraine and the ambassadors of the countries that helped to build it.
The tradition and technology of embroidering women’s shirts in Hadiach were included in the national list of the intangible cultural heritage of Ukraine. This will allow us to popularize the embroidery technique from Hadiach internationally, hold festivals and embroidery workshops, and participate in international grants and projects.
Western Oblasts
Khmelnytskyi Oblast
Today, residents of Starokonstiantyniv heard explosions. The community was working on the disposal of unusable ammunition.
More than three dozen Shepetivka and Khmelnytskyi Raions residents joined the weekly action “Bring the Heroes Home” in Khmelnytskyi. The participants, holding placards, marched peacefully along one of the city’s central streets.
Kamianets-Podilskyi
The “Active Community” team held a volunteer school in Kamianets-Podilskyi. Its goal is to promote the development of volunteer organizations and initiatives that were created after February 24, 2022. The participants were told how to activate and engage citizens in volunteer activities, about the psychology of people in crisis, non-conflict communication, the specifics of interaction with local authorities, etc. Trainers with many years of experience in volunteering shared their knowledge with the school students.
Chernivtsi Oblast
The city authorities signed a Memorandum of Cooperation with the International Foundation for Health and Environment “Carpathian Region” NEEKA. This should help solve the problems of IDPs who have taken refuge in the Chernivtsi Oblast, as the foundation has been providing humanitarian, counseling, psychological, and legal support to IDPs since the beginning of the full-scale invasion.
The foundation purchased 28 school buses for the region’s educational institutions. UAH 28 million was allocated from the regional budget and UAH 41 million will be financed by the Ministry of Education and Science of Ukraine. We also managed to purchase 16 school buses, and Bukovina received 4 more as humanitarian aid.
Zakarpattia Oblast
Preparation of the population for national resistance starts in Zakarpattia. With the support of foreign partners, the Zakarpattia Regional Center for Preparing the Population for National Resistance has received material and technical means and the necessary equipment. Work is underway to organize the educational process, train instructors, and set up a training facility. Enrollment for the first year is complete.
A new vehicle for the newly created local fire brigade was transferred to the community of Uzhhorod. It was purchased by representatives of the German charitable foundation Help for the People of Ukraine. The benefactors also donated the necessary firefighting equipment and uniforms for local rescuers.
Uzhhorod National University is undergoing a large-scale modernization of its buildings. For several years now, a joint international project has been implemented here with the support of the Nordic Environment Finance Corporation (NEFCO). Currently, the work is being carried out in the largest, 4th dormitory of the university, where, in addition to students, internally displaced persons also live.
