Northern Oblasts

Kyiv

In Kyiv, the memory of the Hero of Ukraine, the commander of the “Da Vinci Wolves” special unit Dmytro Kotsyubailo with the call sign “Da Vinci”, was commemorated near the Askold grave. He died on March 7, 2023 in the battle near Bakhmut. The Kyiv City Council supported the decision to allocate a plot of land for a park named after Dmytro Kotsyubailo. 

Almost 500 drones of various types were purchased by the capital for the 112th brigade of territorial defense of Kyiv. They are already on their way to Donbas, where fighters are currently fighting.

Zhytomyr Oblast

A charity event was held in the Berdychiv barbershop – free stylish haircuts were given to the sons of fallen servicemen.

Chernihiv Oblast

The russian army attacked three border communities of Chernihiv Oblast with mortars and barrel artillery.

Sumy Oblast

Aerial bombs, mortars and artillery shelling – russian troops shelled the territory of Sumy Oblast 19 times during the day. There were launches of four air bombs of the “KAB” type over the Seredina-Buda community. One bomb had cluster ammunition.

On March 7, the russian army shelled Sumy Oblast seven times. 72 explosions were recorded. Four communities were hit.

At night, the border guards stopped a russian sabotage and reconnaissance group in the Sumy Oblast: the Ukrainian military opened fire on them with small arms and grenade launchers.

This afternoon there were explosions in Sumy. Consequences are established.

Eastern Oblasts

Kharkiv Oblast

After midnight, russian troops struck Borova in the Izyum Oblast. They were hit by a guided aerial bomb, the facade of a residential building, a fence and a car were damaged.

At night, the russians hit Malynivka with Shaheds, a one-story administrative building was damaged, law enforcement officers recovered the wreckage of two unmanned aerial vehicles.

In the Kupyansk direction, the Defense Forces repelled four attacks by russian in the areas of Sinkivka and Tabaivka settlements of the Kharkiv Oblast, three communities were hit by airstrikes.

On the morning of March 7, the russians struck Vovchansk with three guided aerial bombs. As of 5:00 p.m., it is known that a woman died under the rubble, and another person was injured.

In the Kharkiv Oblast, the russians are using a new type of aerial bombs – spherical fragmentation aerial bombs weighing about half a kilogram and 7 centimeters in diameter. One cluster bomb can contain 565 such balls. 30% of them detonate if moved. In early March, the russians dropped a cluster bomb near a forest in Kupyansk.

Donetsk Oblast

In Donetsk Oblast, one person was killed in Netaylove, and three residents were wounded in Kleban-Byk and Pokrovsk.

Defense forces repelled 63 attacks by the russian army in Donetsk and Luhansk Oblasts. Most of the fighting took place in the Avdiyivka and Novopavlivka sectors.

Kramatorsk and Kramatorsk raion

On March 6, the russian military dropped a guided missile on Kleban-Byk and hit Zarichne with another KAB-500.

Pokrovsk and Pokrovsk raion

Around 6:00 am on March 7, russian military personnel fired Uragan rocket launchers at the town of Ukrainsk in the Selydovecommunity in Donetsk Oblast. No one was killed or injured, and seven apartment buildings were damaged.

Bakhmut and Bakhmut raion

Yesterday, the occupiers attacked Toretsk with a 500-kilogram bomb and artillery, destroying houses.

This morning, Toretsk came under fire again – the russian military dropped a guided aerial bomb on the private sector. Three residents who were on the street were wounded. Several houses were also damaged, and a fire broke out in one of them after the shell exploded.

Southern Oblasts

Mykolayiv Oblast

On March 6, the russian military shelled the waters of the Ochakiv community in Mykolayiv Oblast with artillery. Last night, the russian army fired artillery at the Kutsurub community. People were not injured.

Zaporizhzhia Oblast

The russian army launched 253 attacks on 12 towns and villages in Zaporizhzhia Oblast over the course of a day on March 6. In particular, it fired 228 times at 5 communities with artillery, and also used aviation, drones and MLRS at other settlements.

16 attacks by the russian army in the areas west of Verbove and Robotyne in Zaporizhzhia Oblast were repelled by the Defense Forces yesterday.

Odesa Oblast

According to updated information, during the morning attack on Odesa on March 6, a russian missile exploded 500 meters from the motorcade of President Zelenskyy and Greek Prime Minister Mitsotakis. The convoy carrying the leaders felt the effects of the attack.

A strike on port infrastructure in Odesa yesterday killed five people and injured others.

This morning, the russian army attacked Odesa Oblast from tactical aircraft from the Black Sea, sending an X-31P missile. It lost its combat capability on approach to the coast. No damage or injuries were reported.

Kherson Oblast

Four people were wounded as a result of shelling of Kherson Oblast by russian troops over the past day. 16 houses, a critical infrastructure facility, a university and a gas pipeline were damaged. The russian army shelled 12 settlements in Kherson Oblast over the last day.

In Myroliubivka, Kherson Oblast, an agrarian exploded on a russian mine. The 60-year-old man was injured.

This morning, the russian military shelled Kherson – the central part of the city and Korabelny district. A man with a mine-blast injury was admitted to the hospital. A private house, garages, and cars parked nearby were damaged.

Central Oblasts

Dnipropetrovsk Oblast

On March 6, a fire broke out in a shopping center in Nikopol as a result of artillery shelling. 4 thousand square meters of the building burned down. At the time of the shelling, there were about 30 employees and customers in the building. All of them were in the shelter. No one was killed or injured.

Kirovohrad Oblast

After the heating season, a modular town for IDPs will be settled in Kirovohrad Oblast. The modular town is designed for 70 people. Its cost is UAH 28 million.

Poltava Oblast

On the night of March 7, air defense forces near the village of Hoholeve, Myrhorod Raion, shot down an X-59 missile from the russian army. There were no consequences.

In Poltava, volunteers are selling flowers to raise money for the military. All profits will be used to buy a car for Poltava residents serving in the 77th Airmobile Brigade.

Vinnytsia Oblast

Police explosives experts neutralized a russian drone shot down by air defense forces in Vinnytsia Oblast. The wreckage of the UAV was found on March 6 in a field in one of the Vinnytsia Raions.

Lviv Oblast

The main building of the Lviv railway station will be adapted for the needs of people with limited mobility. Auxiliary buildings will be placed there, and high platforms and elevators will be arranged for unimpeded access to trains and tunnels.
