Northern oblasts
Kyiv
The photo exhibition “Defining Futures: People, Tech and Teams for a Mine-Free Ukraine” was opened in Sofia Square in Kyiv. The exhibits demonstrate the impact of explosive ordnance on life in Ukraine. The exhibition was organized with the support of UNDP. It features pictures by photographer Giles Duley, UN Commissioner for the rights of people with disabilities in the context of war and peace development.
Kyiv Oblast
Last night, the air defense forces were busy in the Kyiv Oblast. No damage or casualties have been reported.
The Makariv community joined the nationwide project “Grove of Children’s Dreams” for the second time. The goal is to plant as many trees as the number of children killed in the war between russia and Ukraine. Currently, 100 paradise apple trees are already growing on the territory of the local hospital.
Zhytomyr Oblast
An infrastructure facility was attacked during a night air raid in the Zhytomyr Oblast. According to preliminary information, there were no casualties.
In Zhytomyr, citizens organized a rally to honor those killed in the war. The participants gathered to call on Zhytomyr residents to honor the memory of soldiers every day during a nationwide minute of silence.
Chernihiv Oblast
Yesterday, the russian army attacked the border villages of the Chernihiv Oblast with an aircraft and mortars.
Sumy Oblast
Over the past day, 173 explosions were recorded in the oblast. As many as 11 communities came under fire. Two people were wounded.
At night, the russian army shelled the Shalyhyne community.
A total of 5.7 thousand consumers in the oblast were cut off from power supply due to the hostilities. In the Sumy Raion, a fire and rescue unit of the State Emergency Service suffered damage due to shelling by the russian federation. At the time of the attack, the rescuers were in a shelter, no one was injured.
This afternoon, Sumy was hit by aerial bombs. The consequences are being clarified.

Kharkiv Oblast
In the evening of April 7, russians targeted the village of Budarky in the Vovchansk community with a drone, wounding a man. Four residential buildings, a children and youth arts center, and several cars were damaged.
Eight communities came under russian shelling. Residents of the village of Lyptsi have neither mobile communication nor electricity.

On the night of April 8, the russians hit Borova with a guided aerial bomb, the territory of the farm was damaged.
Also, the russian army opened fire on Riasne of the Zolochiv community, damaging four private houses, four high-rise buildings, and power lines.
This afternoon, the russians struck Chuhuiv with an Kh-59 missile. Two private houses were damaged by the blast wave. They also hit the Borova community with a rocket.
A truck with a trailer exploded while working in the field near Ivanivka of the Chuhuiv Raion, the driver was not injured.
A 67-year-old man suffered a leg injury when he stepped on an anti-personnel mine on the territory of the garden society in Borshchova of the Lipetsk community.
Donetsk Oblast
In the Donetsk Oblast, one person was killed by russian shelling on April 7 in the town of Chasiv Yar. Another resident was injured in Yelyzavetivka.
Defense forces repelled 68 attacks by russian occupation troops on the fronts of Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts during April 7. In the direction of Novopavlivsk, the russian army attacked with the support of aviation.
In the Donetsk Oblast, more than 10 boiler houses were damaged by shelling of the russian army during the winter.
Kramatorsk and Kramatorsk Raion
This morning, the russian army shelled Kostiantynivka. There are no dead or injured.
Pokrovsk and Pokrovsk Raion
The occupiers carried out two airstrikes on Ocheretyne. A five-story residential building and an enterprise were damaged.
Bakhmut and Bakhmut Raion
On April 7, the russian army dropped a KAB-250 bomb on Toretsk, as a result of which nine private houses were destroyed.
Luhansk Oblast
In Rubizhne, employees of the Military Commissariat of the occupation authorities obliged male persons to voluntarily appear every month. The lack of a fresh mark when checking documents is another reason to mobilize.
Southern oblasts
In the Mykolaiv Oblast, 14 settlements were cut off due to a russian attack on the night of April 8: power lines were damaged by the wreckage of the downed Shahed-131/136 UAV.

Zaporizhzhia Oblast
On April 7, the russian army carried out 357 strikes on eight towns and villages of the Zaporizhzhia Oblast.
Three people were killed and three were wounded as a result of russian shelling in the Polohy Raion of the Zaporizhzhia Oblast.
A drone exploded on the territory of the Zaporizhzhia nuclear power plant on Sunday, April 7. The first and sixth reactors were damaged, and one person was injured. This was announced by the International Atomic Energy Agency.
Six people were injured as a result of a russian missile attack on an industrial facility in the city of Zaporizhzhia this afternoon. Seven apartment buildings and a medical facility were damaged.
Odesa Oblast
Four unmanned aerial vehicles of the “Shahed-131/136” type were destroyed by the air defense forces over the Odesa Oblast this night. There is a hit in the Odesa Raion, a logistics and transport facility and a gas station are damaged.
This afternoon, explosions rang out during the air alert in Odesa. Consequences are established.
Kherson Oblast
The russian army shelled 15 settlements in the Kherson Oblast during the day. A critical infrastructure object, a shopping center, a public catering establishment, a hairdresser and six private houses were damaged. Three people were injured.
The russian military dropped explosives from a drone on a 63-year-old man in Beryslav. He received an explosive injury, a contusion, and injuries to his arms and legs.
As a result of the morning shelling in Kherson, a fire broke out on the territory of the garage cooperative in one of the districts of the city. The fire was extinguished, there were no injuries.
A 60-year-old man was injured as a result of a drone attack in Belozerka in the Kherson Oblast. He was diagnosed with an explosive injury. The injured man was hospitalized in moderate condition.
Central Oblasts
Dnipropetrovsk Oblast
During the night, russian troops attacked Nikopol 8 times with kamikaze drones and artillery. A utility company, a private house, and a car were damaged. There were no casualties or injuries.
At night, air defense forces destroyed 17 out of 24 drones and a Kh-59 guided air missile. As a result of falling fragments of the downed missile, an explosion occurred on the territory of the gas infrastructure object.
Two people were injured during the morning shelling of Nikopol. They are in the hospital in a moderate condition. A two-story building was destroyed in the city. Private homes, farm buildings, cars were damaged. An infrastructural facility was damaged, a gas pipeline and power lines were affected.
Kirovohrad Oblast
Air defense forces destroyed one drone in the Kirovohrad Oblast this night.
Vinnytsia Oblast
The wreckage of a downed drone was found in a field in the Vinnytsia Oblast. They were removed by specialists of the explosives service.

Lviv Oblast
