Northern oblasts
Kyiv
The Kyiv Regional Center for Training the Population for National Resistance conducted a one-day training course. The instructors conducted tactical and fire training, and taught the basics of tactical medicine. A full course will start in March, during which volunteers will study 16 areas of military training for seven consecutive weeks.
During the week, journalists from India, Indonesia, Malaysia and the Philippines will visit the cities of the Kyiv Oblast, which were occupied by russian troops in February-March 2022. They are going to record war crimes and then tell the world about it.
The Brovary community from the Kyiv Oblast donated 11 cars for the needs of the Armed Forces. They were purchased with funds from the local budget, taking into account the wishes of the military.
Chernihiv Oblast
Russians attacked three border communities of the Chernihiv Oblast with FPV drones, barrel artillery and mortars of the past era.
Sumy Oblast
On February 26, the russian federation attacked 32 settlements. A total of 404 hits were recorded. One person died and one person was injured in the Bilopillia community. 16 houses, a church, a library, a school, agricultural machinery, a gas pipeline, and power lines were damaged.
At night and in the morning, the russian army carried out seven hits of the Sumy Oblast. 18 explosions were recorded.
An 86-year-old woman was wounded in the head as a result of a russian attack on the town of Seredyna-Buda in the Sumy Oblast. Her son, a 52-year-old man, was shocked.
In the sky over the Sumy Oblast at night, the Air Defense Forces destroyed one russian unmanned aerial vehicle of the “Shakhed” type.
In the border of the Sumy Oblast, police explosive devices destroyed a russian drone that crossed the state border, fell near a village and did not work.
Eastern oblasts
Kharkiv Oblast
At night, an educational institution was damaged by shelling in Dovzhyk of the Zolochiv community. Two russian Shakhed drones took aim at it. There are no injured or dead. In total, more than 15 settlements of the Kharkiv Oblast were hit by the russian federation.
In Kurylivka in the Kupiansk Raion, there is a hit on farming. There was a hangar on fire, no one was injured.
In the Kupiansk direction, the defense forces repelled 20 attacks near Synkivka and two more in the Ivanivka and Tabaivka raions. The military notes that the russian army has increased assault attempts in the Kupiansk direction since February 25. They replenished the lost supplies of equipment and personnel.

Donetsk Oblast
On February 26, russian troops shelled residential areas of the Donetsk Oblast ten times. Apartment buildings, hangars of an agricultural enterprise and cars were destroyed or damaged. Three people were injured.
Ukrainian troops repelled 67 attacks by russian occupation forces in the Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts. Most of the hostilities took place in the Maryinka and Avdiivka sectors.
Kramatorsk and Kramatorsk Raion
A rescue and search operation is underway in Kramatorsk for the seventh day at the site of the enterprise building destroyed by shelling on February 20, with a person potentially trapped under the rubble.
Pokrovsk and Pokrovsk Raion
Ukrainian troops withdrew from the villages of Severne and Stepove in the Avdiivka sector, while they also pushed back russian troops from the outskirts of Berdychi.
Southern oblasts
Mykolaiv Oblast
In the Mykolaiv Oblast, the russian military attacked the aquatic area of the Ochakiv community, as well as the Kutsurub community. No one was killed or wounded.
Zaporizhzhia Oblast
Russian troops carried out 259 shelling attacks on the cities and villages of Zaporizhzhia Oblast yesterday, February 26. In particular, 5 communities were shelled 196 times with artillery, while drones, aircraft and MLRS were used to attack other settlements.
In the Zaporizhzhia sector, border guards destroyed 10 russian FPV drones and downed two more.
In the temporarily occupied Berdiansk, an “official” wave of mobilization to the russian army will begin on March 1.
Kherson Oblast
The russian army shelled the territory of the Kherson community 17 times over the past day.
In Kherson, a high-rise building and two private houses, an administrative building and four cars were damaged. One person was wounded.
On February 27, the so-called “pre-term voting” in the russian federation presidential elections began in the temporarily occupied territory of the Kherson Oblast. It will last until March 3.
Central Oblasts
Dnipropetrovsk Oblast
25 shells from heavy artillery were directed by the russian military at the Nikopol Raion on the night of February 27. They hit the city of Nikopol, the Myrove and Chervonohryhorivka communities. There were no dead or injured. One of the lyceums was damaged. There are broken windows. A truck and an excavator were damaged.
47 times, the power line on the shore of the Kakhovka Reservoir was repaired after russian shelling.
Kirovohrad Oblast
In the evening of February 26, air defense forces destroyed 4 “Shahed” drones in the Kirovohrad Oblast. It passed without consequences.
Poltava Oblast
At night, the remnants of a drone launched by the russian military damaged a power line in the Lubny Raion. As a result, more than 200 consumers were left without electricity. Now the line is being restored.
Western Oblasts
Khmelnytskyi Oblast
At night, an anti-aircraft defense was operating within the Khmelnytskyi Oblast and shot down one enemy drone.

Chernivtsi Oblast
During the air alert on the night of February 27, a drone flight from Moldova was recorded over the territory of Ukraine. He also violated the airspace of the Chernivtsi Oblast. The drone was launched in the Odesa direction. He crossed the state border and flew over the territory of the unrecognized republic of Transnistria. Then it again entered the airspace of Ukraine, where it was destroyed by air defense forces.
Ternopil Oblast
In the Museum of the russian-Ukrainian War in Zbarazh, the exhibition “New York – Ilovaisk: The Choice” is on display. It is dedicated to Markiian Paslavskyi, an American of Ukrainian origin, nicknamed “Franko”. In order to go to the front, he renounced his American citizenship. The defender died near Ilovaisk in 2014.
Zakarpattia Oblast
Volunteers of the “Zakarpattia Military Support Movement” produced more than a hundred drones in a few months. Money for components for drones was collected in Uzhhorod supermarkets. About a hundred drones are already being used at the front.
Representatives of the public organization “Creative Volunteers of Uzhhorod” held charity events “Photo for Donation with the Patriotic Angel”, “LED Dance” and “Aqua Grimm for Children” in Uzhhorod to raise money for cars for the military. The volunteers managed to collect more than UAH 22,000.
