Northern oblasts

Zhytomyr Oblast

The 49th evacuation train with IDPs arrived at the Berdychiv railway station. This time it carried 52 residents from the frontline areas of Ukraine, including 13 children and eight people with disabilities.

Chernihiv Oblast

Yesterday, russians shelled two border communities in the Chernihiv Oblast. They attacked with UAVs, FPV drones, and mortars.

Sumy Oblast

On February 29, russian troops shelled the Sumy Oblast 27 times, a total of 157 attacks using various weapons were recorded. 10 communities came under fire. One man was wounded, and three private houses, an outbuilding, and enterprise premises were damaged.

During the night and in the morning, russian troops conducted 16 attacks on 5 communities. Aerial bombs, mortars, and artillery were used.

Eastern oblasts

Kharkiv Oblast

Over the last day, 15 settlements in the Kharkiv Oblast were hit by russian airstrikes. The russians carried out air strikes targeting Bolohivka, Osynove, Mytrofanivka, and other localities.

Vovchansk came under enemy attacks six times over the course of the day, as a result of which two people were wounded. During the last attack, a warehouse and four hangars of the bakery were damaged.

In the afternoon, russians shelled Mytrofanivka in the Kupiansk Raion. Three local residents were injured by a drone-dropped munition.

The defense forces repelled two russian assaults in the area of Petropavlivka and Tabaivka in the Kharkiv Oblast over the past day.

In the morning of March 1, russians again shelled the border town of Vovchansk. At least 30 explosions were heard in the city. The roof of a residential building, a garage and a car caught fire. A 68-year-old man was wounded.

This morning, enemy artillery shelled the village of Morozova Dolyna. Three private houses, outbuildings, and power lines were damaged.

A 70-year-old man tripped a mine on the road between Barvinkove and the village of Arkhanhelske. According to preliminary data, he picked up the explosive device from the ground, after which it detonated. He was hospitalized with a mine blast injury to his right arm.

Donetsk Oblast

During February 29, the occupying forces of the russian federation shelled seventeen populated areas of the Donetsk Oblast 18 times. 46 civilian objects were destroyed and damaged by shelling.

During the past day, three people were injured in Shcherbynivka from shelling by the russian army in the Donetsk Oblast.

The Ukrainian military repelled 72 attacks by the russian occupying forces on the fronts of the Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts. Most of the battles took place in the Avdiivka and Novopavlivka directions.

Kramatorsk and Kramatorsk Raion 

On the night of March 1, the russian army hit Kostiantynivka with missile. Residential buildings, administrative buildings and infrastructure facilities were damaged in the city. Rescuers saved a person from a fire that broke out after a misile hit the city.

Bakhmut and Bakhmut Raion

After the loss of Bakhmut, the Ukrainian military began to prepare Chasiv Yar for defense. Today, the city has several defense rings, concrete structures, equipped positions for platoons, minefields and various engineering obstacles for russian equipment.

Southern oblasts

Mykolaiv Oblast

​​In the Mykolaiv Oblast, on the night of February 29 and March 1, the russian military struck the Ochakiv and Kutsurub communities. People were not injured.

Zaporizhzhia Oblast

200 strikes were carried out by the russian army on 11 towns and villages of the Zaporizhzhia Oblast yesterday, February 29. It used missiles, MLRS, drones and artillery.

One person died, six were injured as a result of yesterday’s russian airstrike on the village of Yulivka in the Zaporizhzhia Oblast. Guided aerial bombs of the russian federation hit three two-story buildings.

Four fires broke out in the Pology Raion last night as a result of russian shelling. There were no casualties or injuries.

The commander of the National Guard of Ukraine, Oleksandr Pivnenko, visited the positions of units fighting in the Zaporizhzhia Oblast. In particular, he visited the location of the “Spartan” and “Chervona Kalyna” operational brigades.

Odesa Oblast

In the morning, pyrotechnicians of the State Emergency Service destroyed a mine on the coast of the Black Sea. An explosive object was discovered on the beach of Odessa yesterday. It was identified as an anchor river mine.

Kherson Oblast

Over the past day, russian troops attacked 19 settlements in the Kherson Oblast. Residential blocks, a high-rise building and 32 private houses, an educational institution building, farm buildings and cars were damaged. There is also a hit to utility equipment. Two people were injured.

Central Oblast

Dnipropetrovsk Oblast

Three russian drones were destroyed by the air defense forces in the Synelnykove and Dnipro raions on the night of March 1. The russian army shelled the Nikopol Raion with heavy artillery. The enemy hit Nikopol and the Marganets community.

Kirovohrad Oblast

In Kropyvnytskyi, the “Social Cupboard” started working. IDPs from the communities of the Donetsk Oblast can take clothes there for free. It was opened in the Yednania humanitarian hub. The items were received from international humanitarian organizations. In total, more than five tons. If necessary, IDPs can be provided with medical equipment – carts and crutches, mattresses.

Cherkasy Oblast

In Cherkasy Oblast, craftsmen prepare combat motorcycles for the military. The repair battalion has been working for a year and a half. Since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the masters went to serve in the local Territorial Defence. But they were demobilized due to age and they began to repair equipment for the front.

Western Oblasts

Lviv Oblast

On March 1, Polish farmers refused to let all trucks into Ukraine and Poland in the direction of the “Medyka-Shehyni” checkpoint. Previously, there was already a critical minimum of crossing the border by trucks in this direction.

Khmelnytskyi Oblast

The 81th “Return Heroes from Captivity” action took place in Khmelnytskyi. Its participants today were 50 people, most of whom are relatives of prisoners of war and missing defenders.
