Northern Oblasts

Kyiv

NATO Secretary General Jens Stoltenberg arrived in Kyiv on an unannounced visit. He met with Ukrainian President Volodymyr Zelenskyy. The officials discussed the initiative to create a special fund for financial support of Ukrainian defense worth 100 billion euros for five years.

Chernihiv Oblast

Yesterday, russians shelled seven villages in three border communities in Chernihiv Oblast. There were no casualties.

Sumy Oblast

127 explosions were recorded per day in Sumy Oblast. 10 communities in the Oblast were under fire. A drone strike in Krasnopillia damaged a private house and a barn.

At night and in the morning of April 29, the russian military shelled Sumy Oblast 6 times, 41 explosions were recorded.

Eastern Oblasts

Kharkiv Oblast

Over the course of the day, russians struck Vovchansk, Hlyboke, and Lyptsi. On the night of April 29, a guided aerial bomb damaged a private house in Zahryzove, Izium raion.

A 59-year-old man in the village of Strilecha, Lyptsi community, was injured as a result of russian shelling on the afternoon of April 28.

A mini-petal explosion occurred near the village of Bayrak in Izium raion. The 52-year-old man was sent to hospital with an injury to his right eye.

In the Kupyansk sector, Ukrainian troops repelled six attacks, including in the area of Berestove in Kharkiv Oblast.

Donetsk Oblast

Seven settlements in the region were under shelling by the russian army yesterday.

On April 28, three people were wounded by shelling from the russian military in Donetsk Oblast.

The Ukrainian military repelled up to 100 attacks by russian occupation forces on the fronts of Donetsk and Luhansk Oblasts during April 28. Most of the attacks were in the Avdiyivka direction.

Pokrovsk and Pokrovsk raion

Yesterday, the russian military dropped a guided aerial bomb on Ptyche and shelled Krasnohorivka and Zhelanna in the Donetsk Oblast with artillery.

Bakhmut and Bakhmut raion

As of April 29, 682 people remain under fire in Chasiv Yar. Recently, people have stopped sending evacuation requests. They do not want to leave their home, the place where their parents and relatives are buried.

Luhansk Oblast

The invaders are intensifying the pressure on the schoolchildren of the occupied Luhansk Oblast. The other day, educational institutions received a document from the so-called “Ministry of Education and Science of the People’s Republic of China” with recommendations regarding conducting educational work with high school students on the topic of countering alleged cooperation with Ukrainian special services and “pro-Western organizations.”

From now on, it is impossible to leave Luhansk without an appropriate certificate from the Military Commissariat.

Southern Oblasts

Mykolayiv Oblast

On April 28, the russian army directed an FPV-type kamikaze drone over the territory of the Vesnyanka community. The industrial enterprise was damaged, there were no casualties.

Zaporizhzhia Oblast

Russian troops shelled 346 towns and villages in Zaporizhzhia region yesterday, April 28. One person was injured as a result of russian shelling of Zaporizhzhia Raion.

In Orikhiv, three apartments in a five-story residential building burned down, and in Gulyaypole, the roof of a private house and an outbuilding burned down as a result of russian shelling yesterday, April 28.

Four attacks by the russian army were repelled by the Defense Forces in the Orikhove sector.

Kherson Oblast

Over the past day, russian troops shelled 19 settlements in Kherson Oblast. An educational institution, a kindergarten, a critical and transport infrastructure facility, an agricultural enterprise, and five houses were damaged. No one was killed or injured.

Today, russian troops shelled Kizomys in Kherson Oblast. A wounded 60-year-old man died on the way to the hospital. A 37-year-old local resident was also wounded.

Central Oblasts

Dnipropetrovsk Oblast

In the evening of April 28, russian troops shelled Nikopol with heavy artillery. The gymnasium was damaged. A power line was hit. No one was killed or injured.

Poltava Oblast

Sounds of explosions were heard in Myrhorod Raion during the air raid. There were no hits to civilian or critical infrastructure, and no one was killed or injured.
