NORTHERN OBLASTS
Kyiv
Another action in support of prisoners of war took place in Kyiv. Every weekend, relatives and friends gather in different locations and demand to speed up the release of the defenders, who have been in captivity for more than 2 years.
Kyiv Oblast
At night, the russians launched kamikaze drones into the Kyiv Oblast. Air defense forces worked in the region. All targets are destroyed outside the population centers. There were no hits to residential or critical infrastructure objects. It passed without casualties or injuries.
Zhytomyr Oblast
That night, air defense forces shot down “shahedy” over Zhytomyr Oblast.
Chernihiv Oblast
On May 18, the russians shelled four border communities of Chernihiv Oblast. 11 villages were under fire. One man was injured, an uninhabited two-story building, a kindergarten, an outbuilding, and a car were also damaged.
Sumy Oblast
During the past day, 284 explosions were recorded in Sumy Oblast. Five private houses and a water tower were damaged.
This morning, the russian army fired mortars at the civilian infrastructure of the Khota community of the Sumy raion. As a result of the attack, a 64-year-old man was injured.
EASTERN OBLASTS
Kharkiv Oblast
The military of russia continues to use anti-aircraft missiles for attacks on populated areas of the Kharkiv Oblast. During the day, two guided air bombs hit Kharkov, five KABs hit Vesely, and four — in the Lyptsi raion.
There were 12 combat clashes in the Kharkiv direction, the Defense Forces repelled six attacks south of the settlements of Hlyboke and Lukyantsi.
In the Kupyansk direction, the number of combat clashes per day increased to 11. The defense forces successfully repelled enemy attacks in the areas of Sinkivka, Ivanivka, and Berestov settlements. Residential buildings, a store, gas pipes, power lines, a children’s camp were damaged.
10,314 people were evacuated from Chuguyiv, Kharkiv, Bogoduhiv raions of Kharkiv Oblast since May 10.
Today, the russian army struck the villages of Novoosynove and Kivsharivka in the Kupyansk raion of Kharkiv Oblast with Uragan surface-to-air missile defense systems. Six civilians were injured in Novoosynovo. One woman and three men were injured in Kivsharivka.
There is a hit on the territory of the Malodanyliva community. The village of Cherkaska Lozova suffered a double blow from the enemy: the second was 15–20 minutes after the first. Russian soldiers were hit by two Iskander-M missiles at their summer vacation spot. As of 18:00, there are 6 dead and 27 wounded. Among the dead is a pregnant woman. Among the injured are a paramedic and two police officers who arrived at the scene after the first blow.
A series of explosions rang out in Kharkiv. The russian army fired two rockets: one hit a cemetery, the second hit the ground near a football field in the Shevchenkivskyi district of Kharkiv, in a recreation area. So far, it is known about 8 wounded.
The air alarm in the Lyptsi and Vovchansk communities of the Kharkiv Oblast has been going on for more than a week. It was announced on May 12.
Kharkiv direction — eight combat clashes took place during the day. The occupiers do not stop trying to break through the defenses of the Ukrainian forces near Vovchansk, Staritsa, and Lyptsi. Ukrainian soldiers hold their positions, inflict significant losses on the russian troops and carry out their own counterattacking actions.
Kupyansk direction — Defense forces repelled five russian attacks near Synkivka, Ivanovka, Berestovo and Stelmakhivka, two more attacks are ongoing.
Donetsk Oblast
On 18 May, the russian military shelled seven settlements in Donetsk Oblast with artillery, Uragan and Smerch systems. In Shakhtarske, the shelling damaged three private houses, an educational institution, a water supply system, and power lines.
In Donetsk Oblast, one man was killed by russian army shelling in Kurakhivka yesterday, and another resident was wounded in Vesele.
A team of power engineers in Donetsk Oblast came under fire from a russian Lancet drone during repairs – no one was injured or killed.
Bakhmut and Bakhmut raion
On 19 May, the russian army shelled the village of Pivnichne probably with two guided aerial bombs. A man and a woman were injured as a result of the shelling.
Luhansk Oblast
On 18 May, the russian army shelled all the de-occupied settlements in Luhansk Oblast where local residents live. In particular, there were about 30 explosions in Nevske and Novolyubivka.
SOUTHERN OBLASTS
Mykolayiv Oblast
On the night of 19 May, air defence forces conducted combat operations in Mykolayiv Oblast. One Shahed 131/136 drone was destroyed.
On 18 May, in the morning, an artillery shelling took place in the waters of the Ochakiv community. In the afternoon, russian troops attacked the village of Dmytrivka in the Kutsurub community with an FPV-type kamikaze drone, hitting a private house. No one was killed or injured.
Zaporizhzhia Oblast
The russian army conducted 459 attacks on seven towns and villages in Zaporizhzhia Oblast yesterday, on 18 May.
Odesa Oblast
20 russian drones destroyed air defence forces in the skies over Odesa Oblast last night. An administrative building in Odesa Oblast was damaged by falling debris. In Odesa, debris fell into a yard in a residential area. Also in the morning, russian air defences shot down a russian Orlan-10 reconnaissance drone.
Kherson Oblast
The russian army shelled 12 settlements in Kherson Oblast yesterday. Eight private houses, a multi-storey building, four cars and port infrastructure were damaged. Two people were killed and two wounded.
Air defense forces destroyed three drones in the skies over Kherson Oblast during a night attack by the Russian army.
A 75-year-old man was wounded as a result of russian shelling of Kindiyka. He was hospitalized with contusion, explosive and closed head injuries, and a shrapnel chest wound.
Russian military dropped explosives from a drone on Beryslav in Kherson Oblast. Five wounded were hospitalized.
As a result of russian shelling, nine settlements in the Beryslav Raion of Kherson Oblast were temporarily cut off from electricity.
CENTRAL OBLASTS
Dnipropetrovsk Oblast
At night on May 19, the russian army attacked Nikopol Raion three times. A sanatorium, seven private houses, two outbuildings, and a scooter were damaged. A power line and a gas pipeline were damaged. No one was killed or injured.
A 55-year-old woman was wounded in the shelling of Nikopol on May 19. An industrial enterprise, several infrastructure facilities, and a five-story residential building were damaged in the area.
Russian troops attacked the Zelenodilsk community in Kryvyi Rih district with artillery and a rocket. Debris fell in one of the settlements. The consequences are being investigated. No one was killed or injured.
Cherkasy Oblast
Last night in the sky over Cherkasy Oblast, air defense forces shot down two “Shahids”. There were no casualties or infrastructure damage. The inspection of the territory continues.
Vinnytsia Oblast
Air defense forces were operating in the region last night. There are no reports of consequences or casualties.
