Northern Oblasts

Kyiv

Kyiv received the distinction of City Partner 2023 at the largest professional event on digital transformation, Digital Enterprise Show 2023.

Experienced specialists and instructors of the Center for Emergency Medical Aid and Disaster Medicine will teach the skills of first aid to the residents of Kyiv. Kyiv Oblast

Explosive objects were destroyed today in Bucha and Vyshgorod raions.

Zhytomyr Oblast

Another evacuation train with nine forced migrants from the eastern Oblasts of Ukraine arrived in Berdychiv. Among them is one person and one child with disabilities.

Students and teachers of the Zhytomyr Lyceum, together with parents and volunteers, bought an SUV worth $6,500 for the frontline fighters. Students collected 140 thousand hryvnias at charity fairs, and the rest of the necessary funds were added by parents of schoolchildren and volunteers.

Chernihiv Oblast

On June 14, the russians shelled the border village of Yanzhulivka with mortars. Two private houses were damaged. A woman died.

Today, explosive devices were detonated near the village of Shestovytsia.

Sumy Oblast

During the day of June 14, the russian military carried out 19 shellings of the border communities of Sumy Oblast. 122 explosions were recorded. In the Seredyna-Buda community, one private and multi-apartment house, utility premises were damaged. As a result of another mortar attack, two high-rise buildings, 7 private houses, non-residential premises, 4 private cars, and a shop were damaged. One person was injured and hospitalized.

A power line was damaged in Bilopolska hromada. In the Esmansk community, a water tower on the territory of an agricultural enterprise, a warehouse, and a power line were damaged.

During the night and morning of June 15, the russian military shelled the communities of Nova Sloboda, Bilopillia and Yunakivka. Two private residential buildings were damaged in Bilopillia community. In the afternoon, the russians shelled the villages of Budivelne and Fotovyzh of the Shostka raion. There were no reports of casualties among the local population or damage to civil infrastructure.

Eastern Oblasts

Kharkiv Oblast

Last night, the enemy carried out another attack with the help of Shahed kamikaze drones. 2 drones moving in the direction of Kharkiv were shot down by air defense forces over the Kharkiv raion. No hits were recorded in Kharkiv and the Oblast at night.

During the day, the enemy fired artillery, mortars and rocket weapons at the settlements of Kharkiv, Kupyansk, Chuguyiv and Lozova raions of the Oblasts.

In particular, the areas of the settlements of Ivashky, Vysoka Yaruga, Starytsa, Krasne, Gatyshche, Vovchansk, Vilkhuvatka, Zemlianka, Novomlynsk, Dvorichna, Zapadne, Lyman Pershyi, Masyutivka and others were under enemy fire.

Yesterday morning, the village of Stepove, Lozova raion, was shelled by rockets. Power line wires are damaged. Fortunately, there were no casualties or extensive damage.

Yesterday, in the village of Kamyanka, Izyum raion, a 57-year-old civilian blew himself up in his own yard using an unknown device. He was hospitalized with moderate injuries.

Demining continues. During the day, pyrotechnics of the State Emergency Service inspected 8.7 hectares of territory and neutralized 106 explosive objects.

Donetsk Oblast

Over the past day, June 14, the russian army struck 16 towns and villages in the Donetsk Oblast. 25 shellings were recorded, 102 civilian objects, private houses, businesses and a church were damaged.

On June 14, shelling by the russian army in Donetsk Oblast killed one person in Pereizne, and three others were wounded.

Since February 24, 2022, the russians have killed 1,562 civilians of Donetsk Oblast and wounded another 3,692. The number of victims in Mariupol and Volnovakha is currently unknown.

Kramatorsk and Kramatorsk Raion

A lyceum and a church in Markove were damaged in the Kostyantynivka community.

In the Lysychansk sector, 1 person died in Pereizne of the Zvanivka community, and 7 houses were damaged.

More than twenty modular shelters are planned to be installed in Kostyantynivka, eight of them are already on the streets. They are designed for nine people and cost UAH 275 thousand each. The military administration is also planning to purchase 12 more shelters, that are larger for 18 people each.

Pokrovsk and Pokrovsk Raion

In the Donetsk sector, russians shelled Yelyzavetivka and Katerynivka in the Maryinka community; at least 6 houses were damaged in Krasnohorivka.

“Doctors Without Borders” is helping to equip shelters in the Pokrovske community. There are 232 simple shelters in the Pokrovske community. With the support of the Pokrovsk city authorities, the international medical humanitarian organization “Doctors Without Borders” brought 50 dry closets, hygiene products, water purification tablets, and blankets to Pokrovsk.

The Pokrovsk City Center for Social Services in Donetsk Oblast hosted an event for children in difficult life circumstances and for displaced children in need of psycho-emotional support. The event was held with the participation of specialized experts.

Bakhmut and Bakhmut Raion

In the Horlivka sector, 2 industrial buildings in New York and 1 building in Nelipivka were damaged in the Toretsk community.

In the Chasiv Yar community, 1 house was damaged.

Russia moves troops from the south to the Bakhmut direction to prevent the advance of the Ukrainian Armed Forces. The Armed Forces have to simultaneously defend and attack in several directions. Over the past week and a half, the Khortytsia unit has advanced more than three kilometers in the south.

Volnovakha and Volnovakha Raion

In the Volnovakha sector, outbuildings in Novoukrainka of the Vuhledar territorial community were damaged, and Maksymivka and Vuhledar were under fire.

Luhansk Oblast

The enemy continues to be active in the Luhansk Oblast. Russians do not stop shelling villages for a day. This time, Novoselivske, Nevske, and Bilohorivka came under fire.

More than nine hundred children from Luhansk Oblast will be able to rest and improve their health this summer. The money for this was provided by the regional communities together with international organizations. The program is designed for displaced children, children from large and low-income families, orphans, and children deprived of parental care, as well as children of fallen participants in the Anti-Terrorist Operation and Joint Forces Operation.

Southern Oblasts

Mykolaiv Oblast

Yesterday, on June 14, the town of Ochakiv of the Ochakiv community came under enemy artillery fire. As a result, residential buildings, a multi-storey residential building, and outbuildings were damaged. There were no casualties.

Also yesterday, the enemy launched artillery strikes on the water area of the Ochakiv community. There were no casualties or damage.

The day and night were relatively calm in Mykolaiv, Pervomaisk, Voznesensk and Bashtanka districts.

Zaporizhzhia Oblast

Over the past day, on June 14, the russian military shelled 17 settlements in Zaporizhzhia Oblast: they launched a missile attack and attacked from the air, using drones, MLRS and artillery. A 58-year-old woman died as a result of the shelling.

In the Zaporizhzhia Oblast, the water level in the lower reaches of the Dnipro hydroelectric power plant is 92 cm below the permissible level and is 13 meters 58 cm (the permissible level is 14 meters 50 cm). Overall, since the Kakhovka HPP explosion, the water level has dropped by 3 meters 58 cm.

Rafael Grossi, Director General of the International Atomic Energy Agency, started a visit to the temporarily occupied Zaporizhzhia NPP. The goal is to present the assistance program after the explosion of the Kakhovka HPP and assess the situation at Zaporizhzhya NPP, as well as to rotate the IAEA mission representatives.

Odesa Oblast

At night, 13 Shahed-136/131 drones were shot down over Odesa Oblast by the russian army.

The Gulf of Odesa is infested with a complex of potentially toxic cyanobacteria.

While cleaning the beaches in Odesa from the debris that washed up on the coast after the explosion of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant, city utilities find snakes and newts, among other things.

Kherson Oblast

On June 14, the russian army shelled more than 50 settlements located on the contact line. In total, russian troops fired 40 times at Kherson Oblast with mortars, artillery, and Grad systems over the past day. They fired 11 shells at Kherson. Residential areas were hit, and two people were wounded.

Today around 6 am the russian army struck Kherson. Two X-59 missiles were fired from tactical aircraft. An administrative building and an educational institution were destroyed. No one was killed or injured. A short time later, the russian military shelled a village in Kherson Oblast with mortars. A woman was killed and another wounded.

As of 5 p.m., the average level of flooding in Kherson Oblast is 1.93 meters. On the right bank, 1919 residential buildings in 26 settlements are flooded.

In the de-occupied Kherson Oblast, 2,079 houses remain flooded. Water has been pumped out of 157 of them. Rescuers have cleaned 240 square meters of the territory from the remains of lubricants. Rescuers evacuated 2,782 people and 264 animals from the flooded areas.

The situation remains critical in the Hola Prystan community. In the central part of Hola Prystan, the outflow of water has slowed down, while in the eastern part, up to 30 centimeters of water remains in some places. The city is without gas, electricity, and water. All houses in the villages of Kardashinka and Kohany are flooded. In other settlements of the community, the situation has not changed.

The streets of Kherson are being cleared of mud and debris. Utilities and volunteers are working. People came from different cities of Ukraine. They are helping the residents of Kherson to overcome the consequences of the flooding caused by the explosion of the Kakhovka hydroelectric power station. 

Central Oblasts

Dnipropetrovsk Oblast

On the night of June 15, russian troops hit two industrial enterprises in Kryvyi Rih with rockets. A 38-year-old man was injured. He is hospitalized in a moderate condition. Industrial buildings were destroyed, gas pipelines were broken, a tire repair shop and a bus were destroyed. One missile was shot down by air defense forces. Debris damaged the car. 

At night, air defense forces destroyed all 7 Shahed-131/136 type attack drones in the sky over Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.

The number of injured as a result of a rocket attack on Kryvyi Rih on the night of June 13 increased to 40 people. Currently, 9 people are in the city’s hospitals, all of them are in serious condition. One is injured – in an extremely serious condition. Doctors are now fighting for his life.

Residents of the Nikopol Oblast were forbidden to go to the coastline and the water area of ​​the Kakhovka Reservoir that had been freed from water. Fishing, recreation, and photo or video recording of the shoreline of the Kakhovka Reservoir are also prohibited.

Kirovohrad Oblast, Ternopil Oblast, Volyn, Vinnytsia, Bukovyna and Khmelnytskyi Oblasts handed over 15 water carriers to Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. Three of them have already arrived in the region. They will be sent to Nikopol to provide water to the locals. In total, there are more than 60 water carriers operating in Nikopol raion. Bottled water is donated daily by benefactors. There are also 169 distribution points in the district.

A hospital has been identified in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast that will become a hub in case of potential outbreaks of infectious diseases. The same procedures were carried out in the hospitals of Kherson region and Mykolaiv Oblast. As of June 14, no cases or suspicions of cholera have been registered in Ukraine.

Cherkasy Oblast

In Cherkasy Oblast, they want to open civilian support centers and launch a program for employment of forced migrants, veterans and their families, and youth. Currently, there are 95,000 displaced people in the region. The work has already started.

The communal enterprise “Cherkasyvodokanal” received 4 modern transformers from benefactors. They will improve the stability of the enterprise’s facilities. The equipment was provided as part of the international technical assistance project “International Platform for Strengthening Partnerships of Municipal Enterprises in Water Management”, implemented by the German Society for International Cooperation (GIZ).

Kirovohrad Oblast

Yesterday, russian drones attacked an industrial facility in the city of Svitlovodsk, Kirovohrad Oblast. The fire was promptly contained. It passed without any casualties or injuries.

The simplest shelters in educational institutions of Kropyvnytskyi will work around the clock until August 31. This decision was made by the executive committee of the city council. Employees of schools, kindergartens and after-school education institutions will be on duty in the warehouses for an additional fee.

During the full-scale war, female students of the Central Ukrainian State University named after Volodymyr Vynnychenko sent 455 litters, 257 unloaders and 575 first-aid kits to the Ukrainian defenders. To improve the educational process and further volunteer assistance, benefactors donated three Bernina sewing machines to the institution.

Poltava Oblast

A young fighter of the Black Zaporizhzhya Kozaks brigade from Poltava Oblast wants to be awarded the title of Hero of Ukraine. The corresponding petition appeared on the President’s website. Oleksandr Pakulov served as a senior rifleman of the 72nd separate mechanized brigade named after the Black Zaporizhzhia Kozaks. Laid down in February 2023 near Vugledar.

In Kremenchuk, they decided to dismantle a monument in honor of fighters for Soviet power. Such a decision was made at a meeting of the city renaming commission. The height of the obelisk is 10 meters. It was established in 1938. 

Since the beginning of the year, about seven thousand people have become donors in Poltava Oblast. Half of them donated blood for the first time.

Western Oblasts

Lviv Oblast

Animals rescued from the flooded part of the Kherson Oblast were brought to Lviv. Volunteers traveled to the south of Ukraine with a humanitarian mission. 72 dogs and 96 cats from Kherson are currently adapting in Lviv, where they are already looking for families.

Khmelnytskyi Oblast

Netishyn’s rescuers received a fire truck from nuclear workers. This is already the second unit of special equipment during the full-scale war, which was handed over by representatives of Energoatom for the fire and rescue squad. From now on, this special equipment will serve to protect an important critical object of the Khmelnytskyi Oblast.

Kamianets-Podilskyi

In Kamianets-Podilskyi, the team of the Regional Center for Disease Control and Prevention carried out field vaccination of people. In three hours of work, more than half a hundred Kamian residents received vaccinations against COVID-19, diphtheria and tetanus. In addition, local doctors measured passers-by’s blood pressure and blood glucose levels, tested them for HIV and hepatitis B and C.

Zakarpattia Oblast

The first Zakarpattia military man received an interest-free loan for housing under the “eOselya” state program. Mortgage compensation at 7% per annum will come from the regional budget and from the Savings Bank within the framework of the signed memorandum.

In Uzhgorod, they continue to create an affordable urban environment. In past years, during major street repairs, the city authorities took into account the needs of people with disabilities and other groups of the population with reduced mobility. This year, work in this direction has been continued – it is planned to lower 25 pedestrian crossings, 14 will be installed with tactile tiles.

Uzhhorod National University signed a memorandum of cooperation with the Proektna 3 Recycling Station. From now on, sorting tanks have appeared near the educational buildings.
