Northern Oblasts
Sumy Oblast
During the day of June 18, the russian military shelled 10 border territorial communities of Sumy Oblast. 119 explosions were recorded.
During the night and morning of June 18, the russians shelled the territories of Khotyn, Krasnopillya, Yunakive, Esman, Seredino-Buda, and Velikopysarivka communities. A private house was damaged in Seredyno-Buda as a result of one of the mortar attacks.
Eastern Oblasts
Kharkiv Oblast
This morning the enemy shelled Kupyansk. A private residential building was damaged. There were no casualties.
During the past day, the enemy shelled the settlements of Kharkiv, Kupyansk, Chuguyiv and Bogoduhiv raions.
In the village of Novoosynove, Kupyansk raion, a residential building and farm buildings were damaged.
A house and a cellar were damaged in the village of Kolisnikivka, Kupiansk raion.
2 people – a 42-year-old man and a 53-year-old woman, who were volunteers, were killed near the Guryiv Kozachok Selvs of the Bogoduhiv raion as a result of a direct hit from an ATGM into a civilian car.
In the village of Odnorobivka, Bogoduhiv raion, as a result of artillery shelling, a recreation park was damaged and a gas network was damaged.
As a result of shelling, 3 residential buildings and commercial buildings were damaged in Vovchansk, Chuguyiv raion.
4 houses and power lines were damaged in Vilcha town of Chuguyiv raion. Fortunately, there were no casualties.
Demining continues. During the day, pyrotechnics of the State Emergency Service inspected almost 7 hectares of territory and neutralized 176 explosive objects.
Donetsk Oblast
Last day, the russian military fired “Hurricanes”, “Hrads” and artillery 10 times at nine populated areas of Donetsk Oblast- damaged power lines, gas pipelines, schools, houses, cars.
On June 17, the russians killed 2 residents of Donetsk Oblast: in Novoukrayinka and Bogoyavlenka.
3 more people in the region were injured during the day.
Since the day of the full-scale war of russia against Ukraine, there have been deaths from enemy weapons
1,565 civilians of Donetsk Oblast, another 3,705 people were wounded. The number of victims in Mariupol and Volnovakga is currently unknown.
The project “Active parks — locations of a healthy Ukraine” has been launched in four communities of the Donetsk Oblast. At the locations, people, together with the coordinators, conduct exercises, competitions, play sports games, engage in fitness and athletics.
Kramatorsk and Kramatorsk raion
In the Horlivka direction, 2 people were injured in Kostyantynivka, including 1 child. 11 private houses and a gas pipeline were destroyed in the city.
In the Lysychansk direction, houses on three streets in Siversk were damaged. During the day, there were 6 shellings of the Lyman community.
Currently, there are 135 precinct police officers serving in the Kramatorsk district, who serve more than 200,000 people. Despite daily shelling and being busy with evacuations, law enforcement officers carry out tasks to combat crime.
Pokrovsk and Pokrovsk Oblast
In the Donetsk direction, isolated shelling by the russian military of Avdiyivka was recorded.
Near Avdiyivka, over the past two weeks, Ukrainian troops have advanced more than one kilometer.
Bakhmut and Bakhmut Raion
Around Bakhmut. Ukraine continues to conduct offensive operations in all directions. No details are available.
On June 18, 26 people, including two children, were evacuated from the Toretsk community. The next evacuation is scheduled for June 20.
Volnovakha and Volnovakha Raion
On June 17, russian troops fired artillery at Novoukrainka in the Vuhledar community, hitting a private house, and killing one person. Also, the russian army shelled Bohoyavlenka with “Grad” systems, where a civilian died.
Southern Oblasts
Mykolaiv Oblast
At night, on June 18, the forces and means of air defense of the “South” Air Command destroyed an enemy drone at the operational and tactical levels.
Yesterday, on June 17, artillery shelling was recorded in the water area of the Ochakiv community and in the open territory of Ochakiv. There were no casualties or damage.
The day and night were relatively calm in Mykolaiv, Pervomaisk, Voznesensk, and Bashtanka Raions.
Zaporizhzhia Oblast
Over the past day, June 17, the russian army shelled 20 localities in Zaporizhzhya Oblast. As a result of the shelling of Orikhiv, a 56-year-old man was wounded. He was taken to the hospital.
Yesterday, three fires broke out in frontline Orikhiv as a result of shelling by russian troops: two residential buildings and an outbuilding burned.
Russian troops are moving equipment and manpower from Kherson Oblast via Melitopol to the Zaporizhzhia direction.
Odesa Oblast
The russian army has reduced the number of missile launchers in the Black Sea to one. Its total volley can be up to eight Kalibr missiles. In total, nine russian ships remain on combat duty in the Black Sea, and one more in the Azov Sea.
The Commission on Technogenic and Ecological Safety and Emergencies has declared Odesa’s beaches unsuitable for swimming. Eggs and larvae of helminths were found in the water, as well as a 1.4-fold excess of suspended solids. The water salinity is 2.4 times lower than normal.
In Odesa, the trade in fish and other seafood of unidentified origin near markets, shopping centers, etc. has been banned. This decision was made by the Commission on Technogenic and Environmental Safety and Emergencies of the Odesa City Council.
Clubs and other entertainment venues have been banned in Odesa from 10:00 pm to 9:00 am. It is also forbidden to use lighting and music systems at this time.
Kherson Oblast
Over the past day, the russian army fired 68 times at Kherson Oblast. They fired 29 shells at Kherson. They hit residential areas. One person was killed, four were wounded, including a child.
Yesterday, in the temporarily occupied Kherson Oblast, russian soldiers fired at a car in which a man and his 15-year-old son were traveling from Oleshky to the village of Sagy. Both were killed. A 17-year-old boy was also wounded by russian shells in Kozatske. According to the Prosecutor General’s Office, 113 children have been injured in Kherson Oblast since the beginning of the war.
In the morning, the Defense Forces destroyed another russian Zala drone over the Kherson Oblast. They also struck at the air defense positions and manpower concentrations of russian troops in Skadovsk and Kherson Raions. The losses of the russian army are as follows: 9 soldiers, a boat, a cannon, a tank and eight armored vehicles.
Six settlements on the right bank of Kherson Oblast remain flooded, and 17 on the occupied territories. Over the past day, rescuers have pumped out more than 24 thousand tons of water from 82 houses and basements.
Central Oblasts
Dnipropetrovsk Oblast
At night, air defense forces shot down two drones of the russian army over Dnipropetrovsk Oblast.
In Nikopol, Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, during the full-scale war, about 4,500 homes were damaged due to shelling by the russian army. 16 people died, more than 120 were injured.
In Dnipro, a house destroyed by a rocket on Peremoha is being restored. However, part of the house will still remain uninhabitable.
A delegation of the Senate of the Parliament of the Czech Republic visited Oles Honchar Dnipro National University. The Czech partners met with the leadership of the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, discussed deepening cooperation with business and educators, overcoming the consequences of the russian sabotage of the Kakhovka HPP.
Over the course of a week, IDPs from Luhansk Oblast in Dnipro received 1,669 food packages in the Severodonetsk hub. The Lysychansk hub provided humanitarian aid to 601 displaced people from the Luhansk Oblast in the Dnipro Oblast.
In Dnipro, as part of the «PIRS» art project, funds are being collected to help military musicians and families of fallen military musicians. Events take place every week in Mystetsky lane in the city center.
Iryna Severyn, a craftswoman from the village of Rosishky in the Synelnykove raion, weaves figurines from hay, sells them and donates them to the Armed Forces. She even teaches her trade to migrant children.
Kirovohrad Oblast
In the town of Pomichna, Novoukrainka raion, Kirovohrad Oblast, they met compatriots Oleksandr Nelyub and Yury Ruban, released from russian captivity. The meeting was held in the central square of the city. Ukrainian flags, embroidered towels and flowers were handed to the fighters.
A bicycle race was held in Kropyvnytskyi in support of the Armed Forces. The organizer of the event is the Sports Tourism Federation of Ukraine and the Ministry of Youth and Sports of Ukraine. About a hundred participants – local residents and internally displaced persons – took part in the event.
Poltava Oblast
One of the units of the Poltava Separate Territorial Defense Brigade was awarded an award by the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. Currently, the military is carrying out combat missions in Donetsk Oblast. For their heroism during the defense of the Motherland, the soldiers of the unit were awarded the Golden Cross.
Fallen soldier Viktor Danchenko was awarded the Order «For Courage» III degree. The soldier commanded the first intelligence unit of military unit A 3488 and was killed during a combat mission in Donetsk Oblast.
In the honor of Yulian Matviychuk, military exercises were held near Poltava. Those present here were taught how to fly drones and told about the grenade launcher and shooting case, to which Yulian Matviychuk himself was involved. The school was organized by Yulian Matviychuk’s wife and friends from the SOLOVEY unit. At the training, they also collected money to support the Poltava SOLOVEY unit, where a military man served. All collected money (75 thousand 902 hryvnias) will be used for the purchase of drones.
Western Oblasts
Lviv Oblast
British volunteers handed over 23 off-road vehicles for the soldiers of the Armed Forces. The car was donated as part of the charity initiative of farmer Mark Laird «Pickups for Peace». The transport is equipped with important cargo, which will come in handy on the front line.
Khrystyna Mykhailiuk from Lviv Oblast went on a walking journey to raise money for a drone for the Armed Forces of Ukraine. The girl walked 500 kilometers, she had a 12-kilogram backpack with her.
Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast
Volunteers of the «Union of Volunteers of Prykarpattia» organized the collection of necessary items for the residents of Kherson Oblast, who were flooded due to the russian troops undermining the Kakhovka HPP. As of yesterday, 20 tons of cargo were collected, which will soon be sent to the people.
Zakarpattia Oblast
In the Oblast center of Zakarpattia, the Prosecutor General of Ukraine Andriy Kostin met with the Prosecutor General of Slovakia, Marosh Zhilinka. They talked about helping in the investigation of crimes committed by the russian military.
Maria Ivanyo, an 85-year-old resident of the city of Chop, knitted 900 pairs of socks for the Armed Forces. The woman has been knitting socks since 2014.
