Northern Oblasts
Kyiv
The SSU exposed a former Communist People’s Deputy in Kyiv who signed an appeal to Putin regarding the recognition of the “L/DPR”. Kyiv Oblast
Today, in the Vyshgorod raion, the destruction of explosive objects was carried out.
In Buchi, they want to build a rehabilitation center for people with post-traumatic stress disorder. The visualization of the HUTIR center was presented by the Martin Architects studio. It is planned to be placed near the reservoir in Bucha. They want to build dome-shaped houses, a food court, a co-working space, a child care center, recreation and sports areas on the territory of the center.
30 young people aged 18-35 arrived in Kyiv Oblast to create a community youth space as part of the implementation of the “VIDNOVA:UA” youth involvement program for the restoration of Ukraine. The task of the project is to create opportunities for young people to participate in the reconstruction of the country and restore infrastructure facilities.
Chernihiv Oblast
Two border communities were subjected to russian shelling during July 9. On the territory of the Semenivska community, three rounds of self-propelled guns, eight mortar rounds, and 50 infantry fighting vehicles were observed. The russians fired unguided air-launched missiles at the Novgorod-Siverskyi community — they observed two raids near Gremyach. Also, 12 arrivals from ACS near Mykhalchyna Sloboda were recorded.
On July 10, the russians shelled the village of Girsk in the Snovske community of Chernihiv Oblast. As a result of the shelling, a private car was damaged and grain caught fire on a private plot of land.
Today, explosive devices were detonated near the village of Shestovytsia.
Sumy Oblast
During the day of July 9, the russian military shelled the communities of Bilopolska and Seredina-Buda in the Sumy Oblast. 11 explosions were recorded. There were no injuries among the population and no destruction of civil infrastructure.
Sumy deputies allocated money for the victims of the russian drone strikes in Sumy on July 3. UAH 15 million will be allocated for the repair and dismantling of the destroyed part of the building on Petropavlivska Street. UAH 250,000 will be given to the families of the victims.
The Defense Council of the Sumy Oblast decided on the need to prepare and carry out the evacuation of local residents of the settlements of the region located in the five-kilometer border zone. Currently, the regional military administration is preparing orders for the evacuation of people from this zone. The evacuation will be carried out under the appropriate cover of the Armed Forces. It will begin after each family has been explained their rights, the necessary facilities and resources have been provided, and when people are ready to move.
Eastern Oblasts
Kharkiv Oblast
During the past day, the russian occupiers shelled the settlements of Kupyansk, Chuguyiv and Bogodukhiv raions.
In particular, Kupyansk, Vovchansk, Udy, Dvorichna, Krasne Pershe and other settlements were under enemy fire. Private residential and apartment buildings were damaged.
In the districts of Kolodyazny and Kislivka of the Kupyansk raion, the enemy used combat aircraft.
No casualties among the civilian population were recorded during the day.
Demining continues. Over the past day, the pyrotechnics of the State Emergency Service have neutralized 16 explosive objects.
Specialists of “Kharkivoblenergo” completely healed the village of Synycheno of the Izyum territorial community. Energy workers started repair work immediately after demining. The settlement is located almost on the border with the Donetsk Oblast, so the destruction here is significant – up to 70% of the power grids were damaged. More than 10 destroyed pillars had to be replaced.
Donetsk Oblast
Over the past day, on July 9, the russian army struck 115 strikes on Vugledar and at night shelled Kramatorsk, targeting the enterprise.
On July 9, the russians wounded 1 resident of Donetsk Oblast. There were no casualties.
Since February 24, 2022, the russian military has killed 1,606 civilians of Donetsk Oblast and injured 3,823 more. The number of victims in Mariupol and Volnovakha is currently unknown.
Kramatorsk and Kramatorsk raion
In the middle of the night, the russians attacked Kramatorsk — they aimed at the territory of the enterprise.
One person was injured in Yampil of the Lyman community as a result of shelling by the russian military.
In Kramatorsk, Donetsk Oblast, a monument to the Soviet MiG-17 aircraft was repainted. The plane was “dressed” in the blue “pixel” that modern Ukrainian planes are painted in.
Pokrovsk and Pokrovsk raion
During the analysis of rubble at the Kurakhove TPP in the Donetsk Oblast, the bodies of two more workers were found. In total, three people died and three were injured due to the collapse of the roof of the boiler-turbine workshop on July 7.
Today, in the Donetsk direction, 2 massive shellings of Avdiyivka took place in the morning – 4 streets were in the affected area. Shellings of Krasnohorivka and Kostyantynivka of the Maryinka community, the outskirts of the Ocheretyne community were recorded.
Bakhmut and Bakhmut raion
On July 10, the russian military was trapped in Bakhmut, the city came under fire control of the Defense Forces.
A house was damaged by russian shellings in Pleshchiivka of the Illinivka community in the Horlivka direction. Toretsk community under intense fire: 4 houses and a boiler house were damaged in Toretsk, 5 houses were destroyed in Druzhba. 2 houses were damaged in the Chasiv Yar community.
Volnovakha and Volnovakha raion
In the Volnovakha direction, the russians shelled Vugledar 115 times — without casualties.
Luhansk Oblast
The enemy is not successful, does not add up personnel, but continues to throw reserves into battle. It shellings populated areas and positions of the Ukrainian military around Serebryanka Forestry. Airstrikes were carried out on this territory yesterday. Nevske and Belogorivka came under the fire of russian artillery.
In occupied Severodonetsk, the locals have to use walkie-talkies due to the russians shutting down mobile communications.
Compulsory passporting of citizens in Luhansk Oblast continues. Thus, in Starobilsk, the occupiers issued so-called «resident cards of the russian federation» valid for three months to all employees of the local multidisciplinary hospital who do not yet have a russian passport. At the same time, they threaten that if they do not receive the specified documents within this period, they will be deported from the temporarily occupied territory with the confiscation of housing.
Southern Oblasts
Mykolayiv Oblast
On the night of July 10, Mykolayiv was hit by a missile strike. The enemy used ballistics. The strike struck the infrastructure object, presumably, with an «Iskander-M» missile. Detailed information is being clarified.
Yesterday, July 9, artillery shelling of the water area of the Ochakiv community was recorded. There are no casualties.
In the Pervomaisk, Bashtanka and Voznesensk raions, the day and night passed relatively calmly.
Zaporizhzhia Oblast
Russian troops hit a guided aerial bomb during the delivery of humanitarian aid in a residential quarter of Orikhiv, Zaporizhzhia Oblast. Four people died, another 13 were injured.
During the past day, on July 9, the russian military shelled 10 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia Oblast.
In a week, the Ukrainian military advanced more than one kilometer in the Melitopol and Berdyansk directions in the Zaporizhzhia Oblast. Since the beginning of the offensive in these directions, the Ukrainian defenders have advanced 8.6 kilometers.
Odesa Oblast
The number of people killed due to the russian attack on residential buildings in the Peresypsky district on June 9, 2023 increased to four. A young man born in 1999 died in the hospital. Doctors fought for his life for a long time, but the shrapnel wounds were very serious.
Kherson Oblast
On July 9, russian troops shelled the Kherson Oblast 51 times with artillery, mortars, aircraft, tanks, Grads, grenade launchers, and drones. Eight shells were fired in Kherson. They hit residential quarters, a trade establishment in Beryslav. Five people were injured.
On the night of July 10, the russian army attacked Inzhenerne, Antonivka, Zelenivka, and Sadove. Artillery shelled the Antonivka Bridge area on the left bank. In total, during the day, the russian military made 17 strikes on the Kherson community. One person is injured.
Over the past day, three fires broke out in Kherson due to russian shelling. Two residential buildings and warehouses were on fire. Rescuers extinguished the fire.
Philanthropists donated 12 mobile water purification units to the communities of Beryslav Raion. The Tyahynka community received four units, and the Mylivka, Beryslav, Kalynivka, and Novooleksandrivka communities received two units each.
In Kherson, 143 consumers who were disconnected after the flooding were reconnected. Currently, 12.9 thousand consumers are still without electricity.
Central Oblasts
Dnipropetrovsk Oblast
On the night of July 10, russian troops attacked Nikopol Raion with heavy artillery. In the evening, they hit the Marhanets community. And after one in the morning – on Nikopol. No one was killed or wounded. The consequences of the shelling are being investigated.
Kirovohrad Oblast
In Kropyvnytskyi, a court approved a sentence for a pensioner who justified russia’s armed aggression and disseminated relevant information on a social network banned in Ukraine. The woman agreed to a plea bargain with the prosecutor, whereby she pleaded guilty and was sentenced to 3 years in prison.
The lyceums of the Haivoron community in the Holovaniv Raion are planning to teach drone piloting. The transformation of the educational network of pre-school and out-of-school education institutions was discussed at a working table meeting with community educators, heads of education centers, and mayors, with the participation of the Minister of Education and Science of Ukraine Oksen Lisovyi.
There is a center for rescued people in Kropyvnytskyi. People who have fled the war zone and residents of the region can get free and anonymous help there. The center operates in three areas: psychological assistance, legal advice, and information support. Over the two months of its operation, the staff has received almost half a thousand requests of various kinds.
As of July 10, 400 subscribers in Oleksandriya, Kirovograd Oblast, were left without electricity due to strong winds.
Poltava Oblast
A fallen commander from a helicopter squadron in Poltava has been awarded the title of Hero of Ukraine. Captain Vladyslav Horban defended Ukraine from the first days of the war. On March 6, the occupiers shot down two helicopters of the Ukrainian military, one of which was carrying a defender. The President awarded him the highest “Hero of Ukraine” title with the Order of the Golden Star.
Cherkasy Oblast
The Department of Automation and Computer-Integrated Technologies laboratory of the Bohdan Khmelnytsky Cherkasy National University has developed automatic turrets for the military. The turret can be controlled remotely. This allows the operator to stay safely at a distance of 50-100 meters, observe the positions, and fire to kill. The devices are already being actively used in the East.
Residents of the village of Shaulyha in the Talniv Raion raised 27 thousand hryvnias at a charity fair.
They sold home-cooked meals, baked goods, and local craftsmen’s products. As a result, they managed to raise about 27 thousand hryvnias for the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Vinnytsia Oblast
Volodymyr Zelenskyi posthumously awarded the title of “Hero of Ukraine” with the Order of the Golden Star to fallen soldiers from Vinnytsia Oblast – Andrii Soroka, Mykola Yanyshyn, Denys Labunskyi, and Valentyn Klymchuk.
By the decision of the session, solar power plants will be built for six municipal buildings in Vinnytsia. This is necessary to reduce energy consumption and CO2 emissions.

Khmelnytskyi Oblast
Kamianets-Podilskyi
Representatives of the Department of Architecture were sent to Kherson to record the damage and destruction of buildings as a result of the man-made disaster caused by the invaders.
In Kamianets-Podilskyi, inspections of the shelters are ongoing. The persons responsible for each shelter have been identified.
The German town of Bad Brückenau established a charity foundation “Bad Brückenau hilft e. V.”, which since the beginning of the full-scale war in Ukraine has been taking care of the city hospital and the Care Social Center in Kamianets-Podilskyi. The benefactors donated a specialized fire truck for the community rescuers. In addition to medicines and bandages, the hospital received a centrifuge for rapid diagnostic tests and surgical instruments.
Chernivtsi Oblast
Residents of the Sokyriany and Brusnytsia communities, Rustam Honchar and Lyubomyr Barbir, were awarded the Golden Cross badge of honor by Valeriy Zaluzhnyi.
The Toporivska community will now be able to accommodate 75 people who came to Bukovyna from regions where active hostilities are taking place. The shelter was converted into a building that used to be a preschool “Sonechko”. It has everything necessary for people to live there: new furniture and appliances.
Zakarpattia Oblast
Six million hryvnias were allocated from the budget of the Zakarpattia Oblast to restore the infrastructure destroyed by the russian occupiers in two settlements in the Kherson Oblast.
Representatives of the Uzhhorod City Council, as part of a working group from Zakarpattia, are visiting the Chornobayiv community in Kherson Oblast. The goal is to study the real state of the affected houses, collect information about the population living in these houses, and identify opportunities for restoring or reconstructing housing.
