Kyiv

Eastern regions

Kharkiv Oblast

Over the past day, the enemy fired artillery and mortars at the frontline and border settlements of the Bohodukhiv, Chuhuiv, and Kupiansk raions.

In the area of the villages of Morozova Dolyna and Lemishchyne of the Bohodukhiv Raion, the wheat field was burning as a result of mortar shelling.

The enemy attacked the village of Blahodativka, Kupiansk Raion, with a S-300 missile. It hit the ground outside the village. There were no destructions or casualties.

In Vovchansk, a private house was damaged by enemy shelling, and a fire broke out.

A 30-year-old civilian man was wounded in Velykyi Burluk, Kupiansk Raion, as a result of shelling. He was hospitalized in the state of moderate severity.

A remote-controlled K-750 tractor hit an explosive device near the village of Turove, Bohodukhiv Raion. There were no casualties.

Demining continues. During the day, pyrotechnics of the State Emergency Service surveyed more than 8 hectares of territory and neutralized 61 explosive devices.

Donetsk Oblast

Over the past day, the occupiers shelled 9 towns and villages in the Donetsk Oblast.

On July 21, six people were killed and five other residents of the Donetsk Oblast were wounded in shelling by the russian army.

Since February 24, 2022, the russians have killed 1,625 civilians of the Donetsk Oblast, and wounded another 3,974 people. The number of victims in Mariupol and Volnovakha is currently unknown.

The SBU suspects three residents of Donetsk region of working for the occupation forces. Two men received positions in the occupation administrations of Mariupol and Berdiansk from the russians, and a woman was engaged in “educating” Ukrainian children in Mariupol according to the russian federation standards.

Kramatorsk and Kramatorsk Raion

Yesterday, russians attacked Kramatorsk with S-300 missiles, hitting the territory of an enterprise.

Kostiantynivka came under fire: 1 person was wounded, 5 high-rise buildings, 30 private houses, a kindergarten, and gas and water supply pipelines were damaged.

In the Lysychansk sector, Torske, Zarichne, and Yampil of the Lyman community, as well as Siversk came under fire. There were no casualties.

Pokrovsk and Pokrovsk Raion

In the Donetsk direction, Krasnohorivka and Novomykhailivka came under the fire of the occupiers in the Marinka community. Four houses were damaged in Kurakhivka, and a wheat field was burned on the outskirts of the community.

Mykolaiv Oblast

Zaporizhzhia Oblast

Odessa Oblast

Kherson Oblast

Today, the russian army air force bombarded Zmiiivka of the Berislav community. It targeted the cemetery, the residential quarter and the farm. At least four houses and farm premises were damaged. Previously, one man was injured.

Defense forces hit the sector of concentration of russian troops in the temporarily occupied Skadovsk Raion of the Kherson Oblast and killed 24 russian servicemen, two S-300 anti-aircraft missile launchers, three units of armored vehicles and a warehouse of drones.

In Kherson, they continue to overcome the consequences of flooding, which was caused by the undermining of the Kakhovka HPP by russian troops. Communal workers and volunteers cleared almost one hundred hectares in a week in the Korabel neighborhood and removed more than 1,000 tons of garbage and sludge.

In Kherson, 800 consumers were reconnected after flooding. Currently, 12,000 subscribers remain without electricity.

Central oblasts

Dnipropetrovsk Oblast

On the evening of July 21, three people were injured due to shelling of Nikopol. A man and a woman are admitted to the hospital. Another man will be treated on an outpatient basis. Eight houses and nine outbuildings were damaged. A power line, as well as an industrial enterprise, were mutilated.

Three fallen soldiers from Kamianske of the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, were awarded state awards. Serhii Hnutik, Artem Fedenko, and Ihor Kovryga were awarded the Order of Courage III degree.

“SvitloGray” space for children operates in Kamianske. It was founded in November 2022 by Olga Prokhorova, a forced immigrant from Mariupol. Most of the teachers are immigrants. The space is constantly visited by 40-50 children from 2 to 10 years old. In the summer, a kindergarten, a camp and reading courses operate.

Kirovohrad Oblast

One russian kamikaze drone over the Kirovohrad Oblast was destroyed this night by servicemen of the 174th separate battalion of the 121st Territorial Defense brigade. Previously, there were no deaths or injuries and destruction of civilian buildings.

Poltava Oblast

Specialists from the Poltava Oblast continue to eliminate the consequences of the explosion of Kakhovka HPP in the Kherson Oblast.

During the month, a total of 210 specialists were involved in the work. Among them are drivers, doctors, utility workers, architects and plumbers. They restore heating and gas supply systems in buildings.

The Poltava Oblast authorities, together with representatives of socially responsible business, handed over the car to the soldiers of the 116th Territorial Defense brigade. Soldiers from the Poltava Oblast were also provided with five Mavic 3 Enterprise drones. The drones were purchased for UAH 800,000 from the oblast budget.

In the Poltava Oblast, a project of the regional Comprehensive program of social protection, rehabilitation and integration of defenders of Ukraine was developed. The program will cover seven areas: psychosocial, medical rehabilitation, career guidance and employment, housing, leisure. One of the directions is the rehabilitation of disabled veterans with their families in sanatorium-resort facilities of the Poltava oblast for 10 days and individual support of families. Attracting UAH 2.5 million from the oblast budget will allow providing these services for 250 people.

Western Oblasts

Lviv Oblast

In Lviv, more than UAH 56 million were allocated for the restoration of 14 buildings damaged as a result of a rocket attack on the city on July 6. The money comes from the reserve fund of the city budget. They will be directed to the repair of roofs, windows, doors and partitions in 14 residential buildings, 13 of which are architectural monuments.

The Sorochyntsi Fair, which used to be traditionally organized in the Poltava Oblast, will be held in Lviv in 2023. This was done due to the fact that the site where the event used to take place does not have a shelter.

Khmelnytskyi Oblast

The 49th campaign “Bring the heroes home” was held in Khmelnytskyi. Relatives and friends of prisoners of war took part in the event. This campaign has been held every week since August last year.

Chernivtsi Oblast

Two soldiers from the Sokyriany community – Serhii Choban and Petro Shkuta – were posthumously awarded the “Defender of the Fatherland” state awards.

The community of the village of Terebleche received a fire engine. The truck was handed over by Polish colleagues from the fire brigade of the city of Klodawa, Greater Poland Voivodeship.

In Chernivtsi, archival documents were found confirming the activities of the Organization of Ukrainian Nationalists in Bukovyna right at the beginning of the war between the Soviet Union and the German Reich. The rebels started fighting already on June 23.

Zakarpattia Oblast

In the Zakarpattia Oblast, seven Ukrainian citizens who cooperated with russia in the Luhansk and Kherson oblasts will be tried for collaborationism and treason.

Twenty volunteers from different regions of Ukraine are participating in the creation of a hub for education and recreation of young people in Mukachevo. The youth space is being arranged as part of the all-Ukrainian project VidNOVA:UA. Ten volunteers from Mukachevo also joined the creation of the hub.
