Northern oblasts

Kyiv Oblast

The International Medical Corps and the Kyiv Oblast State Administration signed a Memorandum of Cooperation. The parties agreed to jointly implement projects for the social and economic development of the Kyiv Oblast. Thus, since the beginning of the full-scale invasion, the International Medical Corps has been providing assistance to 11 medical institutions in the Kyiv Oblast. The organization also supports rehabilitation units in the near-capital region, where military personnel receive rehabilitation treatment. These are the Kyiv Oblast Mental Health Center in Vorzel and the Brovary Multidisciplinary Intensive Care Hospital.

97 facilities will be restored in the Kyiv Oblast at the expense of the Fund for the Elimination of the Consequences of the Armed Aggression. Work has already begun on 7 facilities, the customer of which is the Department of Regional Development of the Kyiv Oblast State Administration. Restoration of another 23 facilities will be started in the near future.

Zhytomyr Oblast

Household appliances and furniture will be donated to families in the Zhytomyr Oblast who lost one or two breadwinners in the war. The material assistance is provided as part of the pilot project by the In Touch Ukraine Foundation. Everything was purchased with the support of UNICEF. In three weeks, 500 families will receive the essentials.

In Zhytomyr, a woman was digging up potatoes and found an arsenal of World War II weapons: 82 mortar shells, three anti-tank mines, and eight grenades.

Chernihiv Oblast

Chernihiv plans to allocate premises for representatives of the Bakhmut City Council. The secretary of the Bakhmut City Council addressed the acting mayor of Chernihiv, Oleksandr Lomako. She asked to allocate a small room on preferential terms so that representatives of the city hall could be there to help their displaced people solve various problems (social, cultural, and humanitarian), and possibly communicate with local authorities.

Sumy Oblast

In total, during the day of September 11, the russian military shelled 10 border communities in the Sumy Oblast. 122 explosions were recorded. A local resident was injured as a result of shelling in the Znob-Novhorodske community. 

A dog died in Sumy after being injured by a missile attack on the city on September 8. According to doctors, the dog was over 10 years old. 

Work on the construction of protective structures continues in the Sumy Oblast. Over the past two months, the number of protective structures in the oblast increased by 298. Currently, 1,902 shelters are registered in the communities of the Sumy Oblast.

Eastern oblasts

Kharkiv Oblast

During the day, the occupiers carried out air and artillery strikes on the settlements of the Kharkiv, Izium, Chuhuiv, and Kupiansk raions.

In the village of Kutkivka, Kupiansk Raion, an outbuilding on the square and a hayloft burned down as a result of shelling, and also a garage was damaged. There were no casualties.

In the town of Vovchansk, Chuhuiv Raion, a house was on fire due to hostile shelling. There were no casualties.

In the village of Snizhkivka, Izium Raion, on the bank of the Donets River, a 70-year-old man hit a butterfly anti-personnel mine. He received injuries of moderate severity, and his lower leg was amputated upon hospitalization. 

Over the past day, pyrotechnic units of the State Emergency Service of the oblast conducted a survey of 4.6 hectares of territory and neutralized 67 explosive devices. The work involved 33 bomb squads (165 people and 65 pieces of equipment).

Donetsk Oblast

Over the last 24 hours, russian troops shelled 14 settlements. 19 facts of violation of the laws and customs of war were documented. The occupiers fired from aircraft, Grad MLRS, and artillery. 12 civilian facilities were damaged, including 8 residential buildings, hangars, and outbuildings.

Kramatorsk and Kramatorsk Raion

Another resident of Kostiantynivka, who was heavily wounded in the missile attack on September 6, died in the hospital. She had been in critical condition all this time. This brings the total number of casualties in Kostiantynivka to 17.

The humanitarian center of the Kramatorsk City Council continues registration for the 10th stage of providing the city residents with humanitarian aid received from partners, such as WFP, ADRA, WCK, and GEM. The humanitarian aid is delivered to one address — one family.

Pokrovsk and Pokrovsk Raion

Yesterday, one person was killed in the village of Kostiantynivka as a result of enemy shelling.

This morning, September 12, russian occupiers attacked Krasnohorivka and Avdiivka. Two people were killed, and three were wounded.

Bakhmut and Bakhmut Raion

The occupiers shelled Toretsk and Dyliivka with artillery. Five private houses were destroyed.

Volnovakha and Volnovakha Raion

Russians dropped a KAB-500 guided aerial bomb on Velyka Novosilka, destroying hangars. There has been no information on casualties.

Mariupol

From September 8 to 10, fake elections were held in Mariupol, organized by the russian invaders to legitimize the government. No democratic standards were observed. There were no voter lists, and “polling stations” were organized on the hoods of cars, at bus stops, and spontaneous markets. Military personnel with weapons were on duty near them. 

Residents of Mariupol complain about the conditions of children’s education at the medical college. The building at 42 Mytropolitska Street is in a state of disrepair after russian shelling. Broken windows, a broken roof – these are the conditions in which Mariupol residents continue to study.

Luhansk Oblast

Another shelling by the occupiers took place on the evening of September 11. They hit Makiivka. An elderly man died.

The enemy also carried out airstrikes near Nadiia, Novoyehorivka, Dibrova, and Bilohorivka. Bilohorivka was also affected by artillery and mortar fire.

Southern oblasts

Mykolaiv Oblast

Yesterday, September 11, the enemy shelled the town of Ochakiv of the Ochakiv community. As a result, residential buildings and infrastructure objects were damaged. There are no casualties.

Also, on September 11, enemy shelling on open territory was recorded between the settlements of the Kutsurub community. There are no casualties.

Yesterday and today, the enemy struck the water area of the ​​Ochakiv community. There are no casualties.

In Mykolaiv, the Pervomaisk, Voznesensk and Bashtanska raions, the day and night passed relatively calmly.

Zaporizhzhia Oblast

103 times the army of the russian federation shelled the cities and villages of the Zaporizhzhia Oblast in the past day. In particular, the enemy used seven air shells on Orikhove and Malynivka; MRLS shelled Stepnohirsk; 87 artillery strikes were carried out on the territory of more than ten settlements.

Today at noon, the russian army fired a missile (the type of missile is being determined) at an open area in the Zaporizhzhia Oblast.

In the direction of Melitopol, the Defense Forces continue their offensive operation. Yesterday, the Armed Forces of Ukraine repelled more than ten enemy attacks in the Robotyne and Novodanylivka raions of the Zaporizhzhia Oblast.

Yuri Soldatenkov, a beekeeper from the village of Novosofiivka in the Zaporizhzhia Oblast, made a honey trident, which he dedicated to the defenders of Mariupol. He wants to give it to them. Today, the beekeeper’s daughter and son-in-law protect Ukraine. 

Odesa Oblast

In the Black Sea, the russian army keeps two missile carriers with a total salvo of up to 16 Kalibr missiles on combat duty.

Kherson Oblast

During September 11, the russian military invaded the territory of the Kherson Oblast 75 times. Some houses, an object of critical infrastructure, an administrative building, a dispensary and an educational institution are damaged. Six people were injured.

Yesterday, after 21:00, the enemy attacked Kherson. Aimed at residential quarters in the middle of the city. There are no data on victims.

At night, the russian military shelled the villages of Sadove and Prydniprovske of the Kherson community. Around four in the morning, the russian army shelled Bilozerka. Private houses and a kindergarten building were damaged.

In the villages on the left bank of the Kherson Oblast, pseudo-policemen are looking for people who refused their russian passports. During the searches, the movement of the local population is restricted in populated areas.

Three more members of the russian guards are suspected of illegally imprisoning and torturing people in the seized building of the detention center during the occupation of Kherson. Two of them are charged with the intentional killing of a civilian.

As of September 12, sappers discovered and neutralized more than 96,500 explosive items in the de-occupied territory of the Kherson Oblast. In total, almost 88,500 hectares of territory have been surveyed since the beginning of de-occupation, of which more than 74,000 are agricultural lands.

Central oblasts

Dnipropetrovsk Oblast

The russian army attacked two districts of the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. In the evening of September 11, Nikopol was shelled, a shop was hit. Closer to night, they attacked Marganets. Seven houses, two farm buildings, power lines and gas pipelines were damaged there. They also attacked the Velykomykhailivka community of the Synelnykove Raion.

Five fighters from Kamianske of the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, were posthumously awarded state awards. Soldier Yevhenii Liakh, senior sergeant Hennadiy Matukhno, junior sergeant Yevhenii Bondarenko, soldier Kostiantyn Kanto, senior soldier Ihor Shemet were awarded Orders of Courage III degree.

Poltava Oblast

About 30 people from different oblasts of Ukraine gathered near the Kremenchug City Council on September 12. These are relatives of soldiers who were captured during the defense of Mariupol in 2022. Relatives of captured soldiers are planning to walk to Kyiv. They start from Kremenchuk, because some soldiers were called up for service from this city.

Kirovohrad Oblast

The Kirovohrad Oblast Council decided to allocate an additional UAH 5 million for the needs of the military. They will be transferred to the state budget for further assistance to the military units of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In addition, UAH 322,000 were allocated for the survey of damaged and destroyed social infrastructure in the Kherson Oblast. Another UAH 900,000 were earmarked for replenishing the reserve with construction materials and other necessary means.

In the Svitlovodsk community, the Oleksandria Raion, training shootings for Territorial Defense soldiers took place.

Another team of specialists from the Kirovohrad Oblast inspects housing damaged or destroyed due to the explosion of the Kakhovka HPP. Houses are inspected, the level of damage is assessed, and each object is carefully prepared for restoration planning.

Cherkasy Oblast

UAH 300,000 of material aid will be paid to the families of the participants of the anti-terrorist operation (ATO) who died before February 24, 2022. Previously, the families of ATO soldiers did not receive such a payment. 35 families can receive such aid in Cherkasy. This year they will receive UAH 150,000, the rest – in the next year. City council members still have to vote for this decision.

In Cherkasy, fighters who have returned from the front and family members of fallen defenders can learn a new working profession or improve their qualifications. This year, 21 servicemen and their relatives took advantage of the opportunity for professional adaptation provided by the state. For the implementation of this service, Cherkasy received more than UAH 280,000 from the state budget.

Vinnytsia Oblast

State awards were handed over to the families of nine fallen defenders from Vinnytsia. These are, in particular, orders of Bohdan Khmelnytskyi (III degree), orders “For Courage” (III degree) and the “Defender of the Fatherland” medal.

The wall of memory of those who died in the russian-Ukrainian war was opened at O. Sukhomovskyi Lyceum No. 7 in Vinnytsia. In this way, the institution wants to honor the fallen heroes who studied at their lyceum.

Western Oblasts

Volyn Oblast

A knitted yellow-blue flag was presented in the Central Park of Lutsk. It was created by almost 80 women from different regions of Ukraine over the course of two months as part of the “Thread of Unity” campaign. The flag consists of 432 pieces and has a size of 2.4×7.2 meters.

Khmelnytskyi Oblast

Kamianets-Podilskyi

On September 11, the burgomaster of Wiesbaden Gert-Uwe Mende and the mayor of Kamianets-Podilskyi signed a twinning agreement between the two cities. For more than 30 years, the two cities have been connected through the “Partnership Union Wiesbaden – Schierstein – Kamianets-Podilskyi e.V.”. During this time, many humanitarian aid shipments were organized and donations were collected to support local projects.

Yesterday in the cinema “SCALA” (Warendorf, Germany), the cinema “MASK” (Odessa) and Brovary Lyceum No. 3 screenings of national and international programs of short films were held as part of the second day of the VI International Film Festival “Brukivka”. Screenings take place for a donation. For the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the team of the Kamianets-Podilskyi film festival “Brukivka” collected more than UAH 20,000. Today, the festival will continue its work in Kamianets-Podilskyi.

Chernivtsi Oblast

Vitalii Demchuk, a resident of the village of Revne, received the President’s Award “For the Defense of Ukraine”.

Volunteers from Bukovyna delivered humanitarian aid to the Sumy Oblast. Residents of the Vanchykivtsi community collected warm clothes, food and other necessary things and handed them over to military personnel serving in the northern direction.

In Chernivtsi, the photo exhibition “Stronger than bricks” was opened in Popivskyi Square. The photos show volunteers who help the affected residents of Irpen, Moschun, Borodianka, Makarov and other settlements of the Kyiv Oblast. The purpose of the exhibition is to inspire viewers with the indomitability of Ukrainians and to motivate them to join “recovery volunteerism”.

Ternopil Oblast

The fourth ambulance substation was opened in Ternopil. 5 medical teams will work there. They will also go to nearby villages.

The action “I respect the soldiers, I run for the Heroes of Ukraine” took place in Zbarazh. The participants of the event ran two kilometers and paid their respects to the fallen servicemen of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. 239 people took part in the race.

Zakarpattia Oblast

The deputy mayor and the heads of structural subdivisions of the city council discussed with experts and representatives of public organizations the details of the action plan within the framework of the implementation of the City Strategy in 2024-2026. The updated “Strategy for the development of the city of Uzhhorod-2030” will be submitted to the deputies for consideration in the session hall by the end of the year.
