Northern oblasts

Kyiv

A rally was held in Kyiv to support the marines who defended Mariupol. The peaceful action “In support of the captured marines – Heroes of Mariupol” was organized by the NGO “501st Battalion”. The event was joined by the relatives of all the marines who defended the city from the occupiers.

Kyiv Oblast

The first house for a large foster family will be built in the Kyiv Oblast as part of the Address of Childhood project of Olena Zelenska’s Foundation. The construction of fourteen houses for large foster families who lost their homes due to the war has begun in 8 oblasts.

Reconstruction of the building of the “Kashtan” kindergarten started in Byshiv with the funds from the Fund for the Elimination of the Consequences of Armed Aggression. Before the start of the full-scale invasion, the kindergarten, which consists of two buildings, was attended by 110 children. As a result of shelling, one of the buildings suffered significant damage, the other was completely destroyed and beyond repair. The building, which was badly damaged, was repaired thanks to charitable assistance: windows and doors were replaced, the roof was overhauled, and internal repairs were carried out. They also arranged the simplest shelter.

Zhytomyr Oblast

The staff of Zhytomyroblenergo donated five motorcycles to the Armed Forces of Ukraine for use at the front line. The motorcycles were fully serviced and painted, and the wheels were replaced. The vehicles were purchased at the request of the paratroopers, as the motorcycles are maneuverable and easy to maintain.

Chernihiv Oblast

During the day of September 12, russians shelled the border areas of the Chernihiv Oblast with mortars. Nine explosions were recorded.

In Chernihiv, russian soldier Orlan Dorzh was charged in absentia with brutal treatment of the civilian population and violation of the laws and customs of war. Orlan Dorzh, together with other russian servicemen, temporarily occupied the village of Viktorivka, Chernihiv Raion, starting March 5, 2022. The man armed with an automatic weapon, illegally entered the territory of a private household, approached the cellar, where there were people with children, and simulated a grenade explosion. He threw the pan he found on the stairs, made a bang when it fell. After that, he threatened to kill them.

Sumy Oblast

Over the past 24 hours, the russian military carried out 203 strikes on the border communities of the Sumy Oblast.

At night and in the morning of September 13, the russian army shelled 2 communities of the Sumy Oblast with mortars. Five explosions were recorded.

Eastern oblasts

Kharkiv Oblast

The occupiers launched more than 20 artillery and mortar attacks on civilian infrastructure and the population of the border areas.

In the village of Kozacha Lopan, Kharkiv Raion, the shelling partially damaged the two-story front part of the fire and rescue post, smashed windows in the building, and damaged one official vehicle and four private cars. There were no casualties.

In the village of Vovchanski Khutory, Chuhuiv Raion, dry grass and coniferous litter burned as a result of the shelling.-In the village of Vilkhuvatka, Kupiansk Raion, a John Deere harvester was on fire as a result of the shelling. There were no casualties.

Over the past day, the pyrotechnic units of the oblast conducted a survey of 4.6 hectares of territory and neutralized 85 explosive devices. The work involved 33 bomb squads of the State Emergency Service (165 people and 65 pieces of equipment).

Donetsk Oblast

On September 12, the russian military shelled ten settlements in the Donetsk Oblast, killing three people wounding another three, and damaging 12 houses.

Kramatorsk and Kramatorsk Raion

In a field near the village of Yakovlivka, Kramatorsk Raion, a person was injured when an unknown explosive device exploded.

A civilian was killed in Vodiane as a result of an artillery strike.

Bakhmut and Bakhmut Raion

Volnovakha and Volnovakha Raion

Police officers delivered drinking water and evacuated two women who had been living in a dungeon in Vugledar for over a year. The russians attack the city daily with heavy artillery and aircraft. Despite this, 159 people remain here. Under fire, the police broke into the city with a humanitarian cargo. 

Luhansk Oblast

Bilohorivka suffered from russian artillery and mortar shelling.

The specialized ministry of the russian federation announced that the number of coal-mining enterprises in the so-called “LPR” and “DPR” was decided to be reduced from 114 to only 15. Almost 100 mines were recognized by the russians as unprofitable. A significant number of these enterprises were driven to disappointing economic indicators by the invaders themselves. At first, forced mobilization, when, for example, at the “Red Partisan” mine, they could barely assemble six men per shift. Many coal-mining enterprises were stopped due to multimillion-dollar debts for electricity supply.

Men who have not yet been mobilized, but who are on military registration in the so-called “LPR”, are forced to visit the military commissariat every month.

Southern oblasts

Mykolaiv Oblast

Zaporizhzhia Oblast

The russian army fired 101 times on the towns and villages of the Zaporizhzhia Oblast yesterday, September 12. They fired missiles at Zaporizhzhia and the territory between Soniachne and Volodymyrivske and used six air shells on Orikhiv. Novoandriivka, Mali Shcherbaky and Pavlivka were shelled seven times with anti-aircraft missiles. In total, more than 20 settlements came under fire.

A 49-year-old man was wounded as a result of artillery shelling in Orikhiv yesterday.

The russians transferred about 200 former prisoners from Mariupol to the area of ​​the temporarily occupied village of Ilchenkove of the Zaporizhzhia Oblast. They will be used as stormtroopers to capture Robotyne.

The russians have caused more than 12 billion 820 million 556 thousand hryvnias of damage to the environment of the Zaporizhia Oblast since the beginning of the full-scale invasion.

In Zaporizhzhia, the “Your Donor” chatbot became operational. It is a program that will automatically collect data on donors and those who need donated blood, and then form a corresponding database. In addition, it allows you to avoid queues.

Odessa Oblast

Air defense forces shot down 32 “Shahed-131/136” type drones over Odesa.

At night, several groups of drones attacked the Izmail District of Odesa. Port infrastructure was hit, non-residential buildings were damaged, and there was a fire at the truck parking lot. The fire was extinguished. It is known that seven people were injured – six people in Reni and one in Izmail. They were taken to the hospital. 

A man was detained in Odesa. He was collecting data on the deployment of air defense and military personnel. The man gave the administrator of the pro-russian Telegram channel data on the location of Ukrainian military personnel and equipment in Odessa. He also tried to “hack” a military woman’s phone to obtain intelligence.

An online conference of members of the Association of Cities of Ukraine with the Commissioner for Human Rights of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine Dmytro Lubinets was held in Odesa. The main topic is citizens’ access to public information under martial law.

Kherson Oblast

During September 12, the russian army shelled the Kherson Oblast 85 times. Kindergartens in the Kherson Raion and an enterprise in Kherson were hit, houses were damaged. Four people are injured.

In the morning, russian troops from aviation attacked Odradokamianka in the Kherson Oblast. Two people were injured. 

At noon, the russian army struck another blow at Odradokamyanka. A 41-year-old man is injured. He was taken to a medical facility with injuries to his head and legs.

In the Kherson Oblast, a man blew himself up with russian explosives in a forest strip near Beryslav. He was hospitalized with numerous injuries. Doctors amputated the injured man’s left hand.

After lunch, the russian army dropped explosives from a drone on Zmiivka in the Kherson Oblast. A volunteer and a local resident were injured. Both were taken to the hospital.

Central oblasts

Dnipropetrovsk Oblast

Four private houses, an outbuilding and gas pipelines were damaged in the Nikopol Raion as a result of shelling during the night and morning of September 13. With heavy artillery, russian troops struck the Nikopol, Myrove and Marganets communities. There are no dead or injured. 

24-year-old fighter of the Third Assault Brigade Ihor Ivanchuk from the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast received the “Golden Cross” badge from the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhny. In June 2023, a soldier was seriously wounded near Klishchiivka in the Donetsk Oblast. Currently he is undergoing rehabilitation.

Kirovohrad Oblast

In Kropyvnytskyi, the heating system is 84% ready for the heating season. Generators and modular boiler rooms are available in case of power outages.

Residents of the Dobrovelychka community, the Novoukrainka Raion, continue to help the Armed Forces of Ukraine. 10 FPV drones with a total cost of UAH 226,000 were purchased through joint efforts. These drones have already been transferred to the 196th Separate Battalion and the 124th Separate Territorial Defense Battalion.

Poltava Oblast

In Myrhorod, a street was renamed in honor of the soldier Oleksandr Fedorchenko, who defended Ukraine from the first days of the full-scale war and took part in the “Hadiach Safari”. The man served in the hottest spot in the east of Ukraine. In March 2023, he completed his last combat mission.

Relatives of the young soldier Oleksii Bilobrovka are asking to support the petition on the president’s website to award him the title of Hero. Before the full-scale war, the defender was fond of football and martial arts and taught them to children. However, after February 24, he joined the Kyiv Territorial Defense, as part of which he initially defended the Donetsk Oblast. The soldier died near Bakhmut.

On Kashtanova Alley, information boards will be placed about fallen defenders from the Poltava community. Information boards will be installed as part of the “Poltava Remembers Heroes” project. The first ones will appear on the avenue by the end of this year.

At the Poltava Oblast Military Administration, a Council on IDPs was formed. The focus of tasks is protection of the rights and interests of internally displaced persons, promotion of community activities in the development of effective mechanisms for their adaptation and integration. Currently, councils on resettlement issues are functioning in all raions of the oblast.

The Kotelva community is preparing to rename 33 streets. 26 streets and 7 alleys named after russian military leaders, writers and scientists are to be renamed. Among them are Vatutina, Pushkina, Lermontova, Mayakovskogo, Dekabrystiv and others streets.

Cherkasy Oblast

The “Freedom to the defenders of Mariupol” march reached Cherkasy. The relatives of the defenders of “Azovstal” organized it in order to attract the attention of international organizations, so that they intervene in the exchange process and help free about 2,000 Mariupol defenders from captivity. Participants of the march follow the route from Kremenchuk to Kyiv.

Modular bomb shelters are being installed in Cherkasy. In a few months, 18 of them will appear in the city. These reinforced concrete protective structures are designed to ensure the safety of residents in the event of an air alert, falling debris and a blast wave. Each such structure is designed for 20 people.

Vinnytsia Oblast

Captain of the medical service Tetyana Novikova received the “Defender of the Fatherland” medal. Since the beginning of the full-scale russian invasion of Ukraine, she has been saving the lives of defenders on the front lines.

800 Hasidic pilgrims arrived in transit through Vinnytsia. They are going to Uman, the Cherkasy Oblast, for the celebration of the Jewish new year Rosh Hashanah.

Sofia Sobko, a 9-year-old girl from Kamianets, cut off her braids, which she had grown since birth, and donated the UAH 4,000 she received for the needs of the 87th battalion.

The sixth International Film Festival “Brukivka” took place in Kamianets-Podilskyi. The event was opened by the feature film “Phosphorus” directed by Kostiantyn Linartovych, which was shot on the territory of Khmelnytskyi and Chernivtsi oblasts. UAH 12,500 were collected at the event.

Chernivtsi Oblast

The Chernivtsi Raion Military Administration awarded the “Golden Cross”, the Order “For Courage” and the Order of Bohdan Khmelnytskyi to relatives of 18 soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine who died in battle.

The head of the Chernivtsi Oblast Council held meetings with the president-elect of the Association of Implantologists of Ukraine, Viorel Radukan, regarding the initiation and implementation of the joint project “Mobile dental surgery for the military” and the President of the Luxembourg-Ukrainian Chamber of Commerce (LUCC), Evgenia Paliy, regarding the ways of attracting European investments to the development and reconstruction of Ukraine.

Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast

Since the beginning of 2023, the charitable foundation “Caritas Ivano-Frankivsk” has issued 15 grants to internally diasplaced people to start and develop their own business. Each of them is UAH 37,000.

Zakarpattia Oblast

The 4th International Festival of Monologues “Monologues on the Uzh” will take place on September 13-18, before Uzhhorod Day. Most of the plays are on military themes. Playwrights were among the first to reflect on the war in their works. Theaters of Kherson, Mykolaiv, Drohobych, Odesa, Lviv, Uzhhorod, Mukachevo, as well as Slovakia, Poland and France will present works at the festival.
