Northern oblasts
Kyiv Oblast
Today, explosive devices were destroyed in the Vyshhorod Raion.
Ruslan Kravchenko, Head of the Kyiv Oblast Military Administration (KOMA), congratulated the military of the Kyiv Oblast on the occasion of the Day of Defenders of Ukraine. Representatives of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, the National Guard of Ukraine, the National Police of Ukraine, the State Emergency Service of Ukraine, and the Security Service of Ukraine received certificates of honor and commendations from the Kyiv Oblast Administration.
Today, another residential unit is being restored on the Hostomel Highway. The apartment building was heavily damaged during the active hostilities. Its facade and floors were damaged, windows and doors were smashed, and internal utilities and communications were destroyed. The overhaul of the apartment building has already begun. Here, it is planned to restore the floors, masonry and insulation of the facade, as well as interior decoration of apartments and common areas. Windows and doors will also be installed. In addition, internal power, water and heating networks will be replaced in the damaged areas. Currently, the dismantling of the affected parts of the building is underway.
Zhytomyr Oblast
In Zhytomyr, 18 stationary and one modular “Points of Invincibility” have been prepared to be used in the event of possible blackouts. They will be operational from October 1.
In Olevsk, five million hryvnias, which were going to be used for repairing roads in the community, were redirected to the needs of the military.
In the Vasyl Zemlyak Central City Library, children help adults weave camouflage nets. They weave up to 30 nets every month.
Chernihiv Oblast
During the day of September 28, russians shelled the border areas of the Chernihiv Oblast eight times. The military recorded 61 explosions in the territories of the Novhorod-Siversk, Semenivka, Snovsk, and Horodnia communities.
Six new warning systems were installed in the Mena Raion.
Sumy Oblast
During the day of September 28, the russian military carried out 30 shelling attacks on the Sumy Oblast. A total of 188 explosions were recorded. The territories of the Bilopillia, Krasnopillia, Khotyn, Velyka Pysarivka, Seredyna-Buda, Nova Sloboda, and Putyvl communities came under fire.
At night and in the morning of September 29, the russian military shelled three communities in the Sumy Oblast. 42 explosions were recorded.
Eastern oblasts
Kharkiv Oblast
Yesterday, the enemy bombarded the civilian population of the front-line and border towns and villages of the Chuhuiv and Kupiansk raions of the oblast.
The enemy attacked the city of Kupiansk with a Grom E-1 missile. An infrastructure facility was damaged, with no casualties reported.
As a result of the shelling of the villages of Kindrashivka and Kutkivka in the Kupiansk Raion, wildfires broke out.
In the village of Zapadne, Kupiansk Raion, a residential building was damaged by shelling.
An MTZ-82 tractor hit an explosive device near the village of Nova Husarivka, Izium Raion. Two men, aged 31 and 68, who were in the tractor, were injured and hospitalized in moderate condition.

Donetsk Oblast
Russian troops shelled 12 settlements in the Donetsk Oblast on September 28, using aerial bombs, S-300 missile system, Grad MLRS, artillery, and mortars. The shelling damaged 41 civilian objects.

Since February 24, 2022, russian weapons have taken the lives of 1,726 civilians of the Donetsk Oblast, and another 4,184 people have been wounded. The number of victims in Mariupol and Volnovakha is currently unknown.
Kramatorsk and Kramatorsk Raion
In the Lysychansk sector, 4 houses and 4 outbuildings were destroyed in Zvanivka over the last day. In the Lyman community, 20 shelling attacks were recorded, resulting in dry grass catching fire near Novoselivka.
On the night of September 29, the russian army struck Kostiantynivka with an S-300 missile – no one was killed or injured, but an administrative building and warehouses of some enterprises were damaged.
In the morning, russians shelled Rai-Oleksandrivka of the Mykolaivka community – no information about casualties was received.
In Sloviansk, photos of Ukrainian soldiers who lived in the city and fell in the war were installed near the city council. The installation was dedicated to the Day of Defenders of Ukraine, which will be celebrated this year on October 1.
Pokrovsk and Pokrovsk Raion
Yesterday, 2 people were killed and 3 wounded in Krasnohorivka. In the Kurakhove community, Hostre and Kurakhivka were shelled, and a medical facility was damaged.
Bakhmut and Bakhmut Raion
In the Chasiv Yar community, two high-rise buildings were damaged. Kostiantynivka suffered two airstrikes, artillery shelling, and a missile attack, as a result of which 3 people were injured, while 6 buildings, a cafe, a shop, 2 school buildings, and an administrative building were damaged. The village of Markove was also shelled in the community – 5 houses were ruined.
The detained resident of Toretsk, who, according to the SBU, gave the occupiers information about eight locations of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, which were moving towards the front line near Bakhmut, faces life imprisonment.
Luhansk Oblast
The occupiers do not stop bombarding Nevske and Bilohorivka. The territories of these settlements are under daily artillery and mortar fire.

Mykolaiv Oblast

Zaporizhzhia Oblast
The russian army struck 116 towns and villages in the Zaporizhzhia Oblast yesterday. Almost 20 front-line villages and towns were subjected to missile, air and artillery shelling.
A powerful explosion rang out in the temporarily occupied Berdiansk, which could be heard in several areas of the city. Details have not yet been announced.
In the Zaporizhzhia direction, russian troops tried to restore lost positions in the Chervone area of the Zaporizhzhia Oblast, but it was unsuccessful.
Odesa Oblast

During the day, the russian military carried out three airstrikes on Burhunka and Olhivka in the Kherson Oblast. They released 20 guided air bombs. One person was injured, 24 private houses were damaged.
During field work between the villages of Tryfonivka and Piatykhatky on September 28, the tractor driver ran into a russian mine. The man was injured and admitted to a hospital.

The russian military shelled an agricultural enterprise in the village of Inzhenerne in the Kherson Oblast. Shells destroyed agricultural machinery. There are no casualties or injuries.

Dnipropetrovsk Oblast

An Alley of Memory of Heroes was planted in one of the schools of Pavlograd in the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. The action was held on the Day of Defenders of Ukraine. Each viburnum bush symbolizes a fallen soldier. This year the action took place for the first time. It was initiated by the Memorial platform. Students and educators of 122 institutions will plant such alleys throughout Ukraine.
Kirovohrad Oblast
In Kropyvnytskyi, 365 cadets, who are the future police officers from 22 oblasts took an oath of loyalty to Ukraine.
Poltava Oblast
From October 1, 61 “points of invincibility” will be operational. They will be provided with everything necessary: food, equipment, water, heating.
New roofs, windows and doors have already been installed in 44 homes of residents of Pravdyne and Chkalove in the Kherson Oblast. Workers from the Poltava Oblast continue to rebuild de-occupied villages. Currently, they work in more than 90 households. Specialists inspected 100% of the damaged objects in the other four subordinate settlements. Currently, an expert on the inspection of destroyed buildings works there.
A documentary film about the deceased Natalia Strebkova will be shown in Poltava. “Zoriana” is a sergeant of “Azov”, Poltava, who died during the bombing of Mariupol in April 2022. “Memorial” created a documentary film about the heroine.
