Northern oblasts

Kyiv

The pedestrian and bicycle bridge, which was damaged by russian shelling on October 10, is being restored in Kyiv. The glass for the railing and the floor glass panels have been manufactured and delivered. And specialists are already installing new glass elements to replace those damaged by a russian missile explosion. Out of 16 elements of the floor glass, 14 have already been replaced. The railing lighting is also being repaired.

In Kyiv, repairs are being completed in the high-rise buildings most damaged by russian shelling in March. In particular, in the building on Svobody Avenue, the facade has been completely repaired and insulated, the utility networks have been restored, and the “social repairs of apartments and common areas” have been almost completed. Also, the utility networks have been restored in the high-rise building on Irpinska Street, and the repairs of the damaged apartments have been almost finished.

In total, more than 650 infrastructure facilities and residential buildings have been damaged in the capital to varying degree as a result of missile attacks. 

The monuments to Bolshevik leader Nikolai Shchors on Taras Shevchenko Boulevard and Soviet military leader Nikolai Vatutin in Mariinsky Park are being dismantled “with their removal from public space and subsequent museumization.”

At today’s meeting, deputies of the Kyiv City Council renamed another 11 streets, the names of which are associated with russia and the Soviet past.

Kyiv Oblast

Scheduled works on demining of territories continue in the Kyiv Oblast. Today, explosive devices were destroyed in the Bucha Raion. 

Yesterday the Day of Ukrainian Writing and Language was traditionally celebrated in the Kyiv Oblast. On this day, solemn events were held in general secondary education institutions of the Kyiv Oblast: commemoration of Venerable Nestor the Chronicler, opening of the Petro Yatsyk International Ukrainian Language Contest, meetings with famous people. Also, students and teachers of the oblast participated in writing the 22nd Radio Dictation of National Unity.

As part of her official visit to Ukraine, U.S. Representative to the United Nations Linda Thomas-Greenfield visited Irpin. She got acquainted with the life of people who, as a result of the russian aggression, became homeless and now temporarily reside in the “Dubky” health center. Ms. Linda assured that America will do everything possible to help the most vulnerable Ukrainians survive the cold winter.

The world-famous American architecture and design company Gensler will help rebuild Irpin. The relevant memorandum was signed at the company’s office in Washington.

Zhytomyr Oblast

In Zhytomyr, law enforcement officers detained a suspect in illegal smuggling of draftees abroad under the guise of volunteers. According to the information available to the operatives and investigators, he has just handed over the documents on the possibility of crossing the border by persons liable for military service. The personal data of the man as the driver of the vehicle were entered into the official databases on traveling outside Ukraine to receive humanitarian aid.

Today in Zhytomyr, in the House of Ukrainian Culture, during the open charity auction “Ukraine through the eyes of children” 48 lots of paintings with the symbols of Ukraine were raffled off. All funds raised at the auction were transferred to the needs of the 95th detached assault brigade.

The educational project “We Speak Ukrainian” focused on IDP children was launched in Zhytomyr. Speaking clubs, which operate on the basis of three lyceums, are attended by students from the first to the eleventh grade.

Chernihiv Oblast

Russian troops once again shelled the border areas of the Chernihiv Oblast. Border guards recorded 16 explosions: 8 tube artillery shells hit the area of the villages of Berylivka and Moshchenka, and 8 MLRS rockets hit the territory near the village of Hasychivka.

The money planned in the budget of the city of Nizhyn for the Christmas and New Year holidays will be transferred to the Armed Forces of Ukraine. At the same time, a modest celebration will be arranged for children – first of all, for those who need it the most.

Sumy Oblast

Yesterday, the Russian military hit the border village of the Esman community 20 times with anti-aircraft guns, using incendiary ammunition. As a result of the shelling, a field with corn caught fire; no one was injured.

The bridge over the Desna River, destroyed as a result of hostilities, was rebuilt in the Sumy Oblast. Now the bridge again connects the Sumy and Chernihiv oblasts by the shortest route.

The Sumy Oblast received 2,733 sets of clothes for children of internally displaced persons who are in difficult life circumstances.

Eastern oblasts

Kharkiv Oblast 

Yesterday, the enemy shelled the civilian population of the towns and villages of the Kharkiv Oblast, which are located not far from the line of contact and the border with the russian federation. In particular, the cities of Kupiansk and Vovchansk, the village of Dvorichna and other settlements of the Kupiansk, Chuhuiv and Kharkiv raions came under bombardment.

An infrastructure facility was damaged in Vovchansk, a fire broke out in a store building in Kupiansk as a result of shelling. A 36-year-old resident of Kupiansk was hospitalized with injuries. It took 19 rescuers to extinguish the fire in the store.

The central hospital is being rebuilt in Balaklia. The building was heavily damaged by enemy shells. During the occupation, the russians deployed a barrack here; the occupiers took away or destroyed almost all the equipment there. And while retreating, they fired at the hospital buildings. The infectious diseases department has already been restored. After the heating system in the complex is launched, doctors will be ready to receive patients. Currently, the works on restoration of the supporting walls, roofing and destroyed roof of one of the buildings are underway. This will make it possible to restore the integrity of the structure.

Mine clearance in the liberated territories of the oblast continues. During the day, pyrotechnicians of the State Emergency Service defused 238 explosive devices.

Donetsk Oblast

During the past 24 hours, the russian military in the Donetsk Oblast shelled Avdiivka, Bakhmut, Toretsk, Lyman, Marinka, Velyka Novosilka, Pivnichne, Lastochkine, Novoselivka Persha, Karlivka, Druzhba, Pavlivka.

On November 9, it became known about 3 civilians killed by russians in the Donetsk Oblast. They were 2 in Bakhmut and 1 in Pavlivka. In addition, law enforcement officers discovered the bodies of 5 people killed by the russians during the occupation in Yarova. Another 12 people in the oblast were injured.

Since the start of the full-scale war, russian missiles have killed 1,185 civilians in the Donetsk Oblast and injured another 2,578. The number of victims in Mariupol and Volnovakha is currently unknown.

Pokrovsk and Pokrovsk Raion

In the Donetsk direction, the previous evening and at night there were isolated hits in Avdiivka. There is one dead. Shelling was also recorded in the Marinka community. There was no information about victims and destruction.

Residents of the Pokrovsk community received 4,000 loaves of bread for free. Such assistance was provided by international partners ADRA Ukraine and the World Food Program (WFP) in cooperation with the heads of the Community Development Agency and CCSN. Each inhabitant can receive 2 loaves of bread.

The Pokrovsk community received first-aid kits from the international organization Doctors Without Borders. 280 first-aid kits were handed over to the population self-organization committee to provide the simplest shelters.

Bakhmut and Bakhmut Raion

On the Horlivka direction, Bakhmut was the most affected. During the previous day, one civilian was killed in the city, two more were wounded. Four private houses and an administrative building were damaged. The outskirts of Toretsk, Svitlodar and Soledar communities came under shelling at night. There were no victims there.

Volnovakha

The russian army hit Vuhledar with a missile. The aircraft also shelled Soledar, Bakhmut, Marinka, Novomykhailivka and Nevelske. One person died in Pavlivka. https://t.me/suspilnedonbas/9529 Photo

Mariupil

Residents complain that they have to freeze in houses with damaged gas pipes. It is already +5 degrees in the apartments. The occupiers do not respond to the statements of the residents of Mariupol. It is especially difficult for retired people to survive.

The occupiers have not yet demined Mariupol. Explosive objects continue to be found in the city even on the roofs of their own homes. At the same time, the occupation authorities do not respond to reports from residents. People are desperately already writing on the walls of houses to somehow attract attention to themselves.

Luhansk Oblast

The occupiers are taking away looted property and stolen cars from Siverodonetsk. They are taking what is left. Looting takes place under the cover of representatives of the so-called state security agencies. In the city, there are tens of thousands of apartments without owners who were evacuated, which are used by the occupiers.

The occupiers have been claiming the capture of Bilohorivka for several weeks, but Ukrainian military personnel are currently in the village. Battles are fought there exclusively for the territory. The settlement itself was practically destroyed by the occupiers.

Southern oblasts

Zaporizhzhia Oblast

During the day, the russian military shelled the Zaporizhzhia Oblast 71 times, 35 infrastructure facilities in 16 settlements came under attack. 11 objects were destroyed. One person was injured.

In particular, at around 7:00 in the morning, the occupiers shelled Vilniansk with anti-aircraft missiles. Four hits of S-300 type missiles were recorded. A private agricultural enterprise is ruined. Farm buildings and equipment are damaged.

In settlements located on the demarcation line and under constant fire from the invaders, most of the buildings were damaged or destroyed.

Kherson Oblast

The occupying authority dismantles elements of the mobile equipment system and removes wi-fi routers, sets up artillery positions directly in residential areas, carries out engineering and fortification works, destroying private homes of citizens.

In Skadovsk, all the buildings are inhabited by immigrants, without the consent of the owners. Medicines and foodstuffs are delivered only from the Crimean side.

Russian troops plunder Kherson and the right-bank part of the Oblast. Looted property is loaded into trucks in broad daylight.

During the night from November 9 to 10, the movement of russian military equipment was observed in Kherson towards Antonivka, where the crossings of the russian troops are located. But the situation in the city is now disturbing. There is partly no electricity, water, heat, communication interruptions.

The President of Ukraine created four more military administrations in the Kherson Oblast: urban — Hola Prystan and Kakhovka, rural — Dolmativka and Khrestivka.

Mykolaiv Oblast

Yesterday, the enemy bombarded the city with the “Smerch”multiple rocket launcher. As a result, one person received shrapnel wounds. A bakery, a private enterprise and the private sector were damaged.

Enemy shelling of the territory and adjacent settlements of the Bereznehuvate community, located on the demarcation line, continues.

Odesa Oblast

The situation in the operational zone in the South Buz direction is tense and dynamic in development. The Armed Forces of Ukraine hold the initiative and control.

The enemy continues defensive actions and fire damage to Ukrainian positions.

Odesa and Venice (Italy) signed an agreement on sisterly relations. The initiator was an Italian city. During the meetings with the mayors of both cities, Odesa received support for the inclusion of the historic center of the city in the main list of UNESCO World Heritage.

In Odesa, on the monument to Alexander Pushkin (a russian poet) the inscriptions “Het’” (“Get away”) appeared.

Central oblasts

Dnipropetrovsk Oblast

As a result of the russian attack on Dnipro on the night of November 9, the depot of “Nova Poshta” [non-state postal operator] was destroyed. Four employees of the enterprise are in the hospital. The equipment and almost all the parcels were destroyed.

On the night of November 10, russian troops shelled the Nikopol Raion (Dnipropetrovsk Oblast). An 80-year-old woman was injured. In Nikopol, 10 houses, a gas station, a gas pipeline, and a power line were damaged.

Three men injured during the attack by kamikaze drones on Dnipro are in intensive care. One of them is in an extremely serious condition. Another wounded person is being treated in the trauma department. His condition is assessed as moderate.

Two soldiers from Dnipropetrovsk Oblast died in the battles for Ukraine: Yurii Silakov from Novomoskovsk community and Vyacheslav Polyvianyi from Kamianske.

Kirovohrad Oblast 

In the village of Sonyachne (Pervozvanivska community, Kropyvnytskyi Raion), the parents of the fallen soldier Oleksandr Bikmurzin were presented with the Order “For Courage” of the III degree. On May 14, 2022, the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyi, signed the decree on rewarding the soldier (posthumously).

On November 11 and 12, tactical training will be held in the Dobrovelychkivka community (Kirovohrad Oblast).  

Poltava Oblast

Poltava Oblast continues to bury its sons, defenders of Ukraine. Maksym Zinchenko, a native of the village of Yahnyky (Lokhvytsia community), was killed during artillery shelling near Zvanivka (Donetsk Oblast).

Two more defenders were killed in Donetsk Oblast. 48-year-old Ihor Svyshch was a senior soldier, a rifleman of a mechanized company. In 2014, he volunteered for ATO (Anti-Terrorist Operation). Ihor died during the storming of Ukrainian positions near Vodyane. 54-year-old Yurii Shuvalov was originally from Kremenchuk. He died as a result of mortar shelling.

Oleksandr Naumenko was a soldier of the Armed Forces of Ukraine from the Shyshaky community. He was born in Budapest (Hungary) in a military family. In 2014, Oleksandr served in the 92nd separate mechanized brigade of the Ground Forces of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, and was wounded. On February 24, the man was mobilized again. His heart failed at the front. The defender was buried in the village of Sahaidak, where his family lives.

During the meeting of the executive committee, a decision was made to create a city conscription commission for the period of martial law and to organize socially useful works under martial law.

In Poltava, due to the decrease in street lighting, the police have increased the number of working groups during night patrols. For this, mobile groups and foot patrols are formed daily.

On the wall of a nine-story building in the Podol district, artists painted a portrait of Major of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and Acting Commander of the 36th Separate Marine Brigade Serhii Volynskyi.

The agrarians of the Poltava Oblast reached the equator of harvesting late grain and industrial crops. More than 2 million tons of cereals and legumes were threshed. Sugar beet harvesting continues, more than 690,000 tons have been dug up. Work in the corn fields is gaining momentum. To date, about 550,000 tons of corn have been collected. Sowing of winter crops in the oblast is being completed. 99% of the planned areas have been already sown.

Khmelnytskyi Oblast

Kamianets-Podilskyi

Yesterday, a coaching event “Managing the quality of education: from theory to practice” was held in the session hall. It was organized by the Department of the State Service of Education Quality in Khmelnytskyi Oblast.”

In Kamianets-Podilskyi, a start-up school for students is starting to work. This is happening within the framework of the project “Promoting economic growth in the Kamianets-Podilskyi community”. The project is financed by the European Union.

Today, on the eve of Poland Independence Day, residents of Kamianets gathered for a toloka (joint cleaning rally) to tidy up the territory of the Polish cemetery. Communal workers, representatives of the cultural sector, internally displaced persons and all those willing worked together.

Western Oblasts

Rivne Oblast

Two defenders who gave their lives for Ukraine and its future were ceremoniously buried in the Rivne Raion. Oleg Kutsenko was from Zdolbuniv. Taras Krokhmalyuk was from the village of Pustomyty (Goshcha community). He died on November 2 during artillery shelling near the city of Bakhmut (Donetsk Oblast).   

In Rivne, on November 10, a report was received about explosives in a supermarket. The special services are checking all supermarkets for the presence of explosives, as the unknowns did not specify in which one they allegedly planted them. So far, no explosive objects have been found in the inspected facilities.

PJSC “Rivneazot” has partially resumed work after an emergency shutdown following the shelling of energy infrastructure facilities by russian troops on October 22.

Winter clothes for the Ukrainian military were brought to the Rivne Oblast from the Czech Republic. This aid was handed over by the delegation from the Czech Republic. Also, 10 buses go to the oblast. At the same time, the cooperation between the states will continue, including at the regional level. It will apply to both the social and economic spheres.

Chernivtsi Oblast

On the border with Romania, the checkpoint “Krasnoilsk” was opened. The Prime Ministers of Romania Nicolae Ciucă and the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal came to the opening. By the end of the year, all checkpoints will have electronic queues. Currently, in the test mode, electronic queues are being tested at two checkpoints.

Since February 24, the inpatient department of the Chernivtsi Oblast Children’s Hospital has treated more than 700 patients who are internally displaced persons.

The staff of the Economic Court of Chernivtsi Oblast handed over the car for the Ukrainian defenders. The children of the workers filled the trunk of the car with various treats. 

In Chernivtsi, 15-year-old Viktoria Mandrykina from Kharkiv creates patriotic clay icons. Part of the money from the sale is sent to help the Ukrainian army, internally displaced persons and funds for homeless animals. 

Zakarpattia Oblast

Maxym Chomolyak, a soldier from the village of Ruski Komarivtsi (Uzhhorod Raion), died at the front.

In Zakarpattia, the students of the tourism center, together with their head Adelina Kasynets, made guardian angels for the soldiers on the front lines.
