Northern oblasts
Kyiv
Last night saw the most massive drone attack on Kyiv since the start of the full-scale invasion. The air defense forces destroyed more than 60 aerial targets. The air raid alert in the capital lasted more than 6 hours. Five people were injured, including an 11-year-old child. Damage to electrical equipment in Kyiv left 77 residential buildings and 120 institutions without power. Currently, all residents of the capital have electricity again. As a result of the downing of enemy drones, debris fell in different parts of the city: residential buildings were damaged, a fire broke out on the territory of a kindergarten and in another location – in a non-residential building with an area of 100 square meters.
The aggressor country, russia, used so-called “black drones” during the night attack, whose surfaces are coated with carbon fiber, which absorbs radar signals. This hampers the effectiveness of air defense systems.
In connection with the Holodomor Memorial Day and the 90th anniversary of the Holodomor of 1932-1933 in Ukraine (the famine genocide of the Ukrainian people), the national flags of Ukraine with mourning ribbons are flown at half-mast on the buildings of state authorities and local self-government bodies.
President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy had a meeting with President of the Swiss Confederation Alain Berset, who is on a visit to Ukraine.
Kyiv Oblast
At night, the enemy launched a massive drone attack on the oblast. The air defense was actively working.
The falling debris damaged four private houses and two apartments in one of the multi-story buildings. All the damage incurred was minor.
A new modular boiler house was installed in the Bucha community. It is designed to supply heat to residential and social facilities in the village of Myrotske. Sponsors helped to purchase the equipment.
Zhytomyr Oblast
Another train with IDPs was welcomed in Berdychiv. Five people arrived, three of whom are people with disabilities. All of them are residents of the Donetsk Oblast.
On the occasion of the 90th anniversary of the Holodomor in Ukraine, the Center for Out-of-School Education for Children and Youth of the Zhytomyr Oblast Council hosts an exhibition of creative works by children from different parts of the Zhytomyr Oblast, called “A Grieving Angel.”
Chernihiv Oblast
Over the past day, russians shelled two border villages of the Chernihiv Oblast with mortars.
In the Chernihiv Oblast, the air defense units shot down four kamikaze drones.
In Pryluky, law enforcement officers detained three local residents who reported a fake bomb threat against the gas service. They were detained and placed in a temporary detention facility. Two of the suspects work at the same company and are dissatisfied with the management.
Sumy Oblast
On November 24, the russian army shelled 5 border communities of the Sumy Oblast. A total of 35 explosions were recorded. Five communities were shelled.
At night and in the morning, the russian military shelled three communities in the Sumy Oblast. 22 explosions were recorded. The artillery shelling damaged a house in the village of Yunakivka, two households in Znob-Novhorodske, as well as the premises of the local lyceum, the village council, the outpatient clinic, and also a private car.
On the night of November 25, the air defense forces destroyed 7 russian Shahed drones in the sky over the Sumy Oblast.
Eastern oblasts
Kharkiv Oblast
Over the past day, eight settlements came under russian shelling.
In the Kupiansk sector, russia conducted aviation-assisted assault operations in the areas of Synkivka and Petropavlivka in the Kharkiv Oblast, and Stelmakhivka in the Luhansk Oblast. The defense forces repelled 15 attacks.
This afternoon, russian troops fired artillery at the village of Baranivtsi in the Zolochivsk Raion. As a result of ten explosions, two private houses were damaged, and the village was left without electricity. There were no injuries or fatalities.
Donetsk Oblast
During November 24, the russian army shelled five settlements of the Donetsk Oblast seven times. Due to shelling, residential buildings and a boiler house were mutilated.
On November 24, one person was injured by shelling of the russian military in the Donetsk Oblast. There were no casualties in the Oblast the previous day.
Since February 24, 2022, the russians have killed 1,778 civilians of the Donetsk Oblast, wounded another 4,329. The number of victims in Mariupol and Volnovakha is currently unknown.

In the Donetsk direction, Avdiivka was hit by two rockets. Two houses were damaged. Krasnohorivka, Heorhiivka and Maksimilianivka are under fire in the Marinka community. In the Novodonetsk community, five houses were damaged, two cars were destroyed.
Bakhmut and Bakhmut Raion
In the Horlivka direction, six houses were damaged in Shcherbynivka of the Toretsk community, and a house and an infrastructure object were damaged in Toretsk. In the Chasiv Yar community, three private houses and a high-rise building were damaged.
Ukrainian soldiers repelled the morning attack of russian troops in the direction of Bakhmut. For the assault, the russian army used lightly armored and armored vehicles and assault groups, which were eliminated.
Colonel-General Syrskyi visited the servicemen of the airborne assault troops in the Bakhmut and Kupiansk areas, and also awarded paratroopers of the 80th, 81st, 95th, and 25th airborne assault brigades.

Mykolaiv Oblast
On the night of November 25, air defense forces shot down a russian drone of the “Shahed-136/131” type in the Mykolaiv Oblast. The russian military also struck the water area of Ochakiv and Kutsurub communities.
Zaporizhzhia Oblast
Yesterday, the occupiers made 118 attacks on 22 towns and villages of the Zaporizhzhia Oblast.
11 reports were received about the destruction of residential buildings and infrastructure facilities. There are no casualties.
The army of the russian federation has once again launched rocket attacks on the Matviivka and Shyroke communities of the Zaporizhzhya Raion. There were no casualties or injuries. The first missile of an unknown type landed on the territory of the Matviivka community, the second — in gardens on the territory of the Shyroke community.
The russian military began handing out summonses to employees at utility companies in the temporarily occupied Berdiansk of the Zaporizhzhia Oblast.

Kherson Oblast
The russian army shelled the Kherson Oblast 100 times in the past day. Libraries in Kherson and the Beryslav Raion were destroyed, houses of local residents were damaged. One person died, three were injured.
During the day, the enemy dropped 60 guided aerial bombs on the settlements of Novoberyslav, Zmiivka, Olhivka, Lvove, Mykhailivka in the Kherson Oblast. About 20 private houses were destroyed as a result of aerial bombardment.
19 people, including two children, were evacuated from the de-occupied settlements of the Kherson Oblast yesterday.
For three days, doctors of the Public Health Alliance Foundation received patients in Novokairy, Mylove, Dudchany, and Kachkarivka. A specialist in ultrasound diagnostics also worked in Borozenske with the support of the NGO “Casers”. He has examined 70 people in two days.
Odesa Oblast
The Odesa Oblast will be protected by additional air defense systems, Volodymyr Zelenskyi said at the Grain from Ukraine conference in Kyiv. Volumes and security will be increased in the Odesa Oblast.

Dnipropetrovsk Oblast
Russian troops hit the Nikopol Raion with artillery. In the evening, the enemy fired at the raion center. and around midnight – at the Marganets community. There were no casualties or injuries.
The missile and 5 drones were shot down by the air defense over the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast on the night of November 25.

Oleksandr Baranov, a resident of Nikopol, rescues abandoned animals. During the full-scale russian invasion, the man sheltered more than 20 dogs. Some of them were given by friends and neighbors who evacuated from the city. Sometimes he found abandoned dogs near his house.
Kirovohrad Oblast
The “Father’s Heart” silver charm to the children of fallen heroes and the “Order of the Soldier’s Mother” award to mothers whose sons gave their lives in the russian-Ukrainian war were presented in the Kropyvnytskyi City Council.
In Znamianka, a shelter is being built at the “Dyvosvit” lyceum with state subvention and at the expense of the city budget. The deadline is until the end of the year. UNICEF helped to equip the shelter at the “Kryla Ukrainy” lyceum. It is designed for 400 people. More than 25 projects in the oblast center are currently in the works.

“800 million for the army” march took place in Lutsk. Almost 70 citizens of Lutsk and the Volyn Oblast, as part of the “Drones instead of cobblestones” initiative, marched from the Volyn Oblast State Administration to the city council. People demanded to allocate funds from the remaining budget of Lutsk and the budget for 2024 for the military.
Khmelnytskyi Oblast
Kamianets-Podilskyi
A business forum “Support and promotion of business in Kamianets: export, recovery, scaling” was held in Kamianets-Podilskyi. It was organized by the city council with the financial support of the European Union and the German government. More than 70 people took part in the forum: businessmen of the Kamianets community, representatives of the Agency for Oblast Development of Khmelnytskyi, chambers of commerce and industry of Canada, Latvia and Lithuania, the Enterprise Development Fund.
Chernivtsi Oblast
In the village of Zarozhany of the Nedoboivtsi community, a memorial plaque was opened to the fallen defender Andrii Bozhek. They placed it on the facade of the lyceum in which the soldier studied.
In 2023, UAH 10.5 million were allocated from the budget of Bukovyna for social support of the participants of Anti-Terrorist Operation/Joint Forces Operation, defenders and their family members. Of these, UAH 3.5 million is intended for financial assistance, UAH 2 million for dental prosthetics, UAH 5 million for medical and psychological rehabilitation.
Ruslan Domnitsak, Deputy Chief of the Chernivtsi Oblast Military Administration for Defense Affairs, met with the mothers of servicemen of the 107th Separate Brigade of the Bukovyna Territorial Defense Forces. Zakarpattia Oblast
Together with the leaders of the national communities of the region, the heads of the Zakarpattia Oblast Military Administration joined the consultations with the participation of the Prime Minister of Ukraine Denys Shmyhal. The topic is the norms of the draft Law of Ukraine “On Amendments to Some Laws of Ukraine Regarding Taking into Account the Expert Assessment of the Council of Europe and its Bodies on the Rights of National Communities in Certain Areas”.
The Uzhhorod City Children’s Clinical Hospital received another grant from the NGO “Light of Help” (Slovakia, Kosice). A wide range of reagents, a microscope, centrifuges and other medical equipment for modern laboratory diagnostics worth about EUR 20,000 will help to conduct timely and high-quality examinations of children.
More than four hundred books for UAH 95,000 were purchased with the funds of the city budget to replenish the library funds of the Uzhhorod Public Library. The funds were allocated under the “Program for the development of the Ukrainian language in all spheres of public life of the Uzhhorod urban territorial community for 2023-2025”.
