Northern Oblasts


294 units of special equipment clear the capital from snow. The entrance to Kyiv was closed for trucks due to snowfall until the weather improved. In the morning, traffic in the city was complicated.

In Kyiv, a gusty wind damaged the largest flag of Ukraine, the canvas has already been replaced with a new one.

There will be no big fairs and celebrations on Christmas and New Year in Kyiv. All expenses for the main Christmas tree of the country are covered by patrons. It will be installed on Sofia Square until December 6.

Kyiv Oblast

In Kyiv Oblast, 40,000 houses lost power due to bad weather.

Due to worsening weather conditions and snowfall on November 27, children studied remotely in schools of the Kyiv Oblast.

In Irpin, Kyiv Oblast, the “Acting for Survivors” race took place, timed to the International action “16 days of activism against violence”. More than 1,000 people took part, covering different distances – from 200 meters to 6 kilometers.

Chernihiv Oblast

On November 26, the russians shelled the border of Chernihiv Oblast from their territory in seven cases. Border guards recorded 86 explosions. The communities of Novgorod-Siversk, Semenivka and Snovsk came under fire.

Due to bad weather, 60 settlements of Chernihiv Oblast were left without electricity. Rescuers freed 84 cars from the snow, including an “emergency”. About 70% of bus flights have been canceled.

Sumy Oblast 

In the morning, the russian army shelled the Krasnopil community. Five mortar explosions were recorded.

As a result of the strikes by the russian army, almost 3,000 consumers were left without electricity. In addition, more than 7.5 thousand consumers are without electricity due to the effects of bad weather. 

Eastern Oblasts

Kharkiv Oblast 

On November 26, at least nine settlements in the Kharkiv Oblast were attacked by the russian federation.

The General Staff reported seven attacks by the russian federation in the Kupyansk direction during the day: the assaults were repulsed in the Synkivka areas of the Kharkiv Oblast.

In the Kupyansk direction, the russians involve former members of the private military company “Wagner” in the assaults: they storm the positions of the Defense Forces together with former prisoners.

In the Kharkiv Oblast, as of 12:00 p.m., due to bad weather, electricity was completely cut off for consumers in eight settlements, partially in 11. In total, about 5,800 households were without electricity.

Donetsk Oblast 

In the Donetsk Oblast, one person was injured in Toretsk during the day. As a result of russian shelling. There were no casualties.

On November 26, the occupiers destroyed a school, a music school, a dispensary and residential buildings in the Donetsk Oblast with shelling.

Since February 24, 2022, the russians have killed 1,780 civilians of Donetsk Oblast, injured another 4,331 people. The number of victims in Mariupol and Volnovakha is currently unknown.

More than 61,000 subscribers lost power due to bad weather and russian shelling in the Donetsk Oblast.

Kramatorsk and Kramatorsk raion 

Serebryanka of the Siversk community, Torske and Zarichne of the Lyman community were shelled in the Lysychansk direction.

Pokrovsk and Pokrovsk raion

In the Donetsk direction, Krasnohorivka, Novomykhailivka and Kostyantynivka were fired upon in the Maryinka community. Kurakhivka and Girnyk were fired upon in the Kurakhove area, the industrial zone was also affected. In the morning, Avdiyivka was hit by missiles and shelling from “Grads” and artillery.

Heavy fighting continues near the Avdiyivka industrial zones. The territory of the Avdiyivka Koksokhim is under the control of the Ukrainian military. Due to bad weather, the russian occupiers reduced the use of kamikaze drones and artillery.

In Pokrovsk, Donetsk Oblast, this year the authorities decided not to organize mass events for Christmas and New Year holidays. The decision about the city Christmas tree is the same.

Bakhmut and Bakhmut Raion

In the Horlivka sector, 1 person was wounded in Toretsk, 10 houses, 5 administrative buildings, and 2 infrastructure facilities were damaged in the city. A private house and 2 non-residential buildings were damaged in the Chasiv Yar community. In Soledar community, Rozdolivka, Vasiukivka, and Minkivka were shelled.

In Kostyantynivka, Donetsk Oblast, boiler houses that were de-energized due to the bad weather have been restarted, and utility companies continue to eliminate the consequences of the weather, including removing fallen trees. They are also repairing damaged power grids.


In the temporarily occupied Mariupol, six russian soldiers, one of whom was an officer, were killed in a few days. Russian propagandists suspect a group of partisans.

Luhansk Oblast

Russian troops resumed their assaults in Luhansk Oblast in Svatove area, near Novoselivske, where the Defense Forces repelled seven attacks. The occupants also attacked Serebrianka forestry. Nevske and Bilohorivka were shelled with artillery.

Southern Oblasts 

Mykolaiv Oblast 

On November 26, the russian army shelled the waters of the Kutsurub community with artillery in Mykolaiv Oblast. No one was injured or killed.

In Mykolaiv Oblast, emergency workers evacuated 283 people who were trapped in the snow due to bad weather. 

Zaporizhzhia Oblast

Over the past day, the enemy struck 97 times in 20 localities in Zaporizhzhia Oblast. A residential building and cars were damaged. No civilians were injured.

In the temporarily occupied village of Myrne, Melitopol Raion, resistance forces blew up a russian military vehicle.

In Zaporizhzhia sector, the russian army conducted assault operations west of Verbove but failed.

In Zaporizhzhia Oblast, over 19 thousand consumers were supplied with electricity after the bad weather. Another 12 thousand customers remain without power supply.

Odesa Oblast 

On November 26, a pipe over 100 meters high collapsed at a high-capacity boiler house in Odesa as a result of bad weather. Rescuers continue to clear the rubble. 

The bad weather in Odesa brought down 117 trees and large branches and damaged more than 120 contact and power lines.

The bodies of three men were found in Odesa after the storm. All three had no signs of violent death. Law enforcement officials are checking the version that they died due to hypothermia.

Kherson Oblast

Over the past day, russian troops fired 56 times at Kherson Oblast. They hit an administrative building, a medical facility, and a shop in Kherson. One person was wounded.

In the evening of November 26, russian troops struck again in Kherson. They hit residential buildings, an administrative building, and a medical facility. A woman who was in the yard was injured. She sustained an explosive injury and a head wound.

Two residents of Kherson will be tried for disseminating information about the location and movement of Ukrainian army units. They collected information and transmitted it via Telegram to a man they knew, who sent the data to a curator in russia. The suspects face up to eight years in prison.

In the temporarily occupied Kherson Oblast, activists of the “Yellow Ribbon” movement continue to oppose russia: they burn russian flags and distribute yellow ribbons and patriotic leaflets.

As of 13:00, 46 settlements in Kherson Oblast remain without electricity due to bad weather. After the shelling by the russian federation, 264 subscribers in the region are disconnected from electricity.

Central Oblasts 

Dnipropetrovsk Oblast 

In the evening of November 26, the russian army struck the Nikopol raion of the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. The Marganets community was shelled from heavy artillery. There are no casualties or injuries.

44,000 homes in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast remain without electricity due to bad weather. As of the morning of November 27, 178 settlements in the region were completely de-energized, and another 92 were partially de-energized.

Kirovohrad Oblast 

Over the past day, rescuers from the Kirovohrad Oblast have pulled out 164 cars stuck on snow-covered road sections. There were 293 people in them.

Due to strong wind and wet snow, 184 settlements of the Kirovohrad Oblast are without electricity.

Vinnytsia Oblast 

Land worth 1.6 million hryvnias was confiscated from russians in Vinnytsia Oblast.

Soldiers who lost their sight in the war need to adapt to life in their own towns and villages. And in their own homes. The “Modern View” public union teaches veterans of the Armed Forces of Ukraine to move around the house and cook food.

Western Oblasts 

Khmelnytskyi Oblast 

Due to strong gusts of wind in the Khmelnytskyi Oblast, there were disruptions in the operation of electrical networks. As of the morning of November 27, 45 settlements were disconnected from the power grid. Four thousand consumers remained without electricity.

In memory of the fallen hero of the russian-Ukrainian war – Khmelnytskyi Andrii Chernytskyi – a children’s playground will be built in the regional center according to the drawings that the soldier made during his lifetime.

Chernivtsi Oblast 

Natalia Husak, head of the National Health Service of Ukraine, is in Chernivtsi on a working visit. Today, she held a meeting with media representatives, where she talked about the expansion of the state drug reimbursement program “Affordable Medicines”.

Since the beginning of the year, more than 6 million hryvnias have been collected in schools, kindergartens and extra-curricular institutions in Chernivtsi to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine. In particular, this was done at charity fairs and concerts. In addition, the institutions provided the military with hygiene products, medicines, bed linen, clothes and food, wove camouflage nets and made trench candles.

At the Chernivtsi emergency hospital, the trauma center was renovated with the funds of philanthropists (64,000 euros).

Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast 

In Dolyna and Horodenka in Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast, two chess tournaments were held in memory of servicemen of the Ukrainian Forces Oleksandr Goshilyk and Mykhailo Chornopyskyi.

Ternopil Oblast 

Due to strong gusts of wind, 7 settlements were left without electricity today in Ternopil Oblast. One of them is partially without electricity.

Zakarpattia Oblast 

Students of the Ukrainian Leadership Academy visited the Uzhhorod City Council to learn more about local self-government. 51 students from 16 Oblasts of Ukraine met with the city authorities and city council members. This meeting is one of the forms of preparation for the forum of state-makers “Sofia of Kyiv”, which takes place in Kyiv, when students of the Ukrainian Leadership Academy communicate with state leaders of the national and local levels.

The Meritorious Academic Zakarpattia People’s Choir and the Academic Pop and Wind Orchestra of the Zakarpattia Regional Philharmonic performed in Uzhhorod for a charitable purpose. The funds collected during the performances will be transferred to the Zakarpattia Military Support Movement to help our defenders.
