Northern Oblasts

Kyiv

A meeting with military attachés within the framework of the IT coalition took place in Kyiv. Representatives of more than 30 participating countries of the Contact Group on Defense of Ukraine took part in the event. Participants bet on technologies that can bring Victory.

Kyiv continues to be under the influence of adverse weather conditions. After the last snowfall in the capital, utility equipment is working hard.

On December 1, 2023, the Residence of St. Nicholas will start operating in the Kyiv-Pechersk Lavra National Reserve. It will be located in the Great Lavra bell tower, which has become accessible to Kyiv residents and guests for the first time in 30 years.

Kyiv Oblast 

In the evening of November 28, russia launched strike drones over the Kyiv Oblast. Thanks to the work of the air defense forces, all “shaheds” were shot down. No damage was recorded, and there were no casualties.

Six russian soldiers who robbed the houses of civilians in the village of Bohdanivka during the occupation of the Oblast will be tried in Kyiv Oblast. The occupiers filmed the looting on video to show off to their relatives in russia.

The construction process of 2 educational institutions will be checked in the Bucha raion. They are being built at the expense of the Fund for Elimination of the Consequences of Armed Aggression. The Commission has already inspected 23 objects financed by the Fund.  

Zhytomyr Oblast

In Zhytomyr, the “Heroes Among Us” student volleyball tournament was held for the sixth time in memory of paratrooper Dmytro Ilnytsky, who died on November 29, 2014, on his birthday in Donbas.

Chernihiv Oblast

The russian military shelled two border communities of Chernihiv Oblast, 64 explosions were recorded.

In Chernihiv, 50 units of equipment and almost 400 utility workers are cleaning the outskirts of the city from snow. The most precipitation fell in the direction of Bakhmach, Mena, Novgorod-Siversky and Snovsk.

More than three thousand subscribers in Chernihiv Oblast were again left without electricity due to bad weather.

Sumy Oblast 

During the day, the russian army shelled Sumy Oblast 22 times. 106 explosions were recorded. In the Seredyna-Buda community, three people were killed and three others were injured.

At night, russian servicemen attacked three communities of Sumy Oblast, 9 explosions were recorded.

Due to bad weather, 17 settlements in the Oblast in 3 communities are temporarily without electricity. The reason is the accumulation of wet snow and wind gusts of 17-22 m/s.

Eastern Oblasts 

Kharkiv Oblast 

During November 28, the russian federation carried out at least two airstrikes on the territory of the Kupyansk raion: an educational institution was damaged at Podol, and a building was destroyed in Kurylivka. Russian airstrikes on Ivanivka and Stepova Novoselivka were recorded.

Twice during the day, rescuers put out fires in the border town of Vovchansk. As a result of russian shelling, 10 garages and a store were occupied in the city around six in the evening. The rescuers could not put out the fire – they had to leave due to repeated shelling after the fire was contained. The second fire after the russian strikes broke out in a private house — the roof was on fire.

The defense forces repelled five russian attacks in the Synkivka and Petropavlivka areas in the Kupyansk direction.

1,700 consumers in the Kharkiv Oblast lost power due to bad weather. Energy workers are working to restore electricity supply.

In Kharkiv, the roof of a non-residential building collapsed due to gusts of wind. The wind in Kharkiv reached 13 m/s. The consequences of the roof collapse took about four hours to clean up. 

Donetsk Oblast 

During the day, the russian army shelled 11 settlements in Donetsk Oblast. 

In total, the russians wounded 7 residents of Donetsk Oblast in one day. Since February 24, 2022, the russians have killed 1,780 civilians of Donetsk Oblast, wounded another 4,338. The number of victims in Mariupol and Volnovakha is currently unknown.

Ukrainian fighters made 27 russian attacks on Avdiyivka, 17 on Maryinka, 16 on Bakhmutske and 4 attacks on Lyman directions during November 28. In the Shakhtarske direction, the russian army stormed the southwestern part of Staromayorske and Vodyane.

Kramatorsk and Kramatorsk raion 

In the Lysychansk direction, Siversk is under shelling – there was no information about casualties and destruction.

The russian army shelled the Kostyantynivka community three times during November 28. The enemy hit the city and damaged three private houses, and also shelled the Novodmytrivka starosta`s district, where two houses were damaged. Virolyubivka was under fire. There are no dead or injured, information about the destruction is being clarified.

Pokrovsk and Pokrovsk raion

In the Donetsk direction, Kurakhivka and the outskirts of Petrivka of the Selydove community came under fire.

On November 28, russian troops attacked Pokrovsk for the third time in a month. This time, the russian army bombarded the city with a missile from an airplane. A pharmacy, a garage, and cars were damaged.

Bakhmut and Bakhmut raion

In the Horlivka direction in the Toretsk community, Toretsk, Pivnichne, New York, Druzhba and Shcherbynivka are under fire. 7 people were injured in the community: 5 in Toretsk and 2 in Pivnichne; 12 houses and 5 infrastructure objects were damaged.

In the Chasiv Yar community, 2 houses and an industrial building were damaged. In the Soledar community, Rozdolivka, Vasyukivka and Minkivka were fired upon.

Volnovakha and Volnovakha raion 

In the Volnovakha direction, Novoukrainka of the Vugledar community was fired upon — without casualties.

Southern Oblasts 

Mykolayiv Oblast 

During November 28, the army of russia fired artillery at the Kutsurub community and the water area of ​​the Ochakiv community. There are no injured or dead.

During the day, the air defense forces and means destroyed two guided air missiles of the “X-59” type, two strike and one reconnaissance drones.

As of November 29, 32 settlements were without electricity, and five were partially without electricity. Power engineers are working.

Zaporizhzhia Oblast 

Last day, russian military personnel struck 153 strikes on 26 settlements in the Zaporizhzhia Oblast. 10 reports were received about the destruction of residential buildings and infrastructure facilities. A 25-year-old woman and a 39-year-old man were injured as a result of a rocket attack on Zaporizhzhia. In Stepnohirsk, men aged 38 and 58 were wounded.

An enemy kamikaze drone attack took the life of a 67-year-old resident of Stepnohirsk.

In the Zaporizhzhia direction, the russian army conducted unsuccessful assaults west of Verbove and Robotyne, where the Ukrainian military repulsed nine attacks.

Odesa Oblast 

On the night of November 29, one russian drone was shot down over Odesa.

Over the past day, the russian army attacked Odesa Oblast with the Kh-31 cruise missile, it lost its combat capabilities and did not hit the target.

54,000 families remain without electricity in Odesa. The most difficult situation is in Izmail and Odesa raions.

In Odesa on the morning of November 29, 398 trees and large branches were felled.

President of Ukraine Volodymyr Zelenskyy visited Odesa. During the visit, he presented awards to military personnel serving in the south of the country, and also listened to the reports of the military leadership on the protection of the region. Zelenskyi also visited the regional center for assistance to displaced people in Odesa, where he talked with people.

In 2024, Odesa plans to pay a one-time benefit to people who were mobilized into the Armed Forces. The corresponding change to one of the city’s programs was approved at the session of the city council. A total of 20 million hryvnias were pledged for this.

Kherson Oblast 

The army of russia shelled the Kherson Oblast 128 times last day. It fired 778 projectiles on its territory, 21 on Kherson. The administrative building in the Berislav raion was destroyed, there are hits in residential quarters. Four people were injured. They were fired upon by multiple rocket launchers, artillery, mortars, aviation and unmanned aerial vehicles.

Yesterday, the russian army carried out eight airstrikes and dropped 80 guided and 20 unguided aerial bombs on the right bank. Beryslav, Kozatske and Zmiivka in the Kherson Oblast were hit.

Also, the russian military dropped 21 cluster munitions from drones on populated areas of Beryslav and Kherson raions.

Today, the russian military attacked the suburbs of Kherson. A man who was in his own yard during the shelling was killed.

In the temporarily occupied territory of the Kherson Oblast, the russian occupiers refuse to storm the positions of the Defense Forces. Thus, one of the units of the 810th separate marine brigade of the russian troops refused to attack in the Krynyk area due to a lack of coordination with artillery, intelligence and bad weather.

As a result of the shelling of Kherson, power outages occurred in some areas of the city.

For five days, specialists of the international organization “Doctors Without Borders” conducted receptions for residents of seven settlements of the Beryslav raion. They provided people with about 100 outpatient consultations and the necessary psychological assistance.

Central Oblasts

Dnipropetrovsk Oblast 

8 “Shahed-136/131” drones were destroyed by air defense of the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast in the Pavlograd, Novomoskovsk, Kryvorizky and Dnipro raions. On the night of November 29, the troops of russian shelled Nikopol raion with heavy artillery. There are no casualties or injuries.

About 15,000 homes in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast remained without electricity. Because of the bad weather, electricity was cut off overnight in about 100 settlements.

Kirovohrad Oblast 

In Kropyvnytskyi, the Regional Veterans Forum “The Way of Return” was held, where experiences and information about the reintegration of military personnel into peaceful life were exchanged. It was attended by veterans and military servicemen, family members of missing, captured, and dead soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, representatives of authorities, public organizations, and others. For their social support, the decision of the Deputies Corps approved the relevant regional program, for which expenditures in the amount of over UAH 78 million are foreseen in the regional budget for 2023 alone.

This year, instead of buying a city Christmas tree worth UAH 3 million, the Kropyvnytskyi City Council will redirect the allocated funds to the needs of the Armed Forces. Instead of one large Christmas tree, they will decorate the square in front of the city council. In addition, Christmas trees will be installed and decorated on Heroes’ Square of the Maidan in honor of the city-heroes.

Cherkasy Oblast

Criminalists of the National Police were given 12 more devices for quickly establishing a person’s DNA profile “ANDE 6C” as part of the international technical assistance project “Strengthening the Capacity of the National Police the edge of the fight against the invaded russian federation.”

Volunteers from Poltava are collecting winter outerwear, sneakers and boots for the military who are in the hospital.

In Poltava, money can be raised from sponsors to install a Christmas tree before the New Year, but the community budget will not be spent. Installation and maintenance of a New Year’s tree can cost approximately 400 thousand hryvnias.

Vinnytsia Oblast

A serviceman from Vinnytsia was awarded the “Golden Cross” – an honorary award of the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valery Zaluzhnyi. Defender from the city of Lypovets.

In Vinnytsia, law enforcement officers are checking information about the bombing of several educational institutions in the city. Bomb technicians and an investigative team are working on the spot. Everyone was evacuated from the premises.

Western Oblasts

Lviv Oblast

The forces of the Air Command “West” received five vehicles for air defense work within the project “Hunters for Shaheds”. Cars will be equipped with automated turrets capable of firing at aerial targets without direct human intervention. In particular, the cars are already equipped with searchlights, thermal imagers, thermal imaging nozzles and lasers.

Khmelnytskyi Oblast

On the night of November 28, air defense forces worked in Khmelnytskyi Oblast during the air raid, and there were no reports of casualties. As a result of the night shelling of the region, the roof, windows and doors of an agricultural enterprise were damaged in Shepetivka Raion.

Chernivtsi Oblast

Ruslan Rybak, a soldier from the Novodniester community, received an award from the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Valery Zaluzhny, for the successful performance of combat missions – the “Golden Cross” badge.

Zakarpattia Oblast

In Zakarpattia, the operation of the traffic regime was checked on the newly built modular bridge over the Teresva River, which was opened to traffic recently. Now the passage is available for passenger vehicles with a weight limit of up to 3.5 tons 24 hours a day. This is the longest modular metal bridge in Ukraine. The structure consists of seven spans of different lengths. It was established thanks to the support of the Howard Buffett Foundation.

“We create different things, we create our own!” – the conference-presentation “Made in Uzhhorod” was held in the ‘Owl’s Nest’ in the regional center of Zakarpattia. It is dedicated to the development of a local enterprise in Uzhhorod. The participants discussed the communication strategy of local producers of Uzhgorod. About two dozen local manufacturers presented their products, their online catalogs and production.

The “Dorcas Ukraine” charitable foundation plans to implement the “MHpss” psychosocial assistance project in Zakarpattia.
