Kyiv

For the first time, variations of the song “Shchedryk” (originally a Ukrainian New Year`s song, now also known as “Carol of the Bells”) performed by the Academic Choral Chapel of the Ukrainian Radio were played on the large Lavra bell tower.
Kyiv Oblast
Clearing and anti-icing of roads continues in Kyiv Oblast. As of the morning of December 25, 124 units of equipment were working to overcome the consequences of precipitation.
Bucha allocated 35 million hryvnias to support the Armed Forces. This decision was supported by the deputies of the Bucha City Council during an extraordinary session.
More than 8,700 hryvnias were collected at the charity concert “Gatherings at Horyslava”, which took place in Bucha. The money was given to a volunteer who actively helps our soldiers at the front.
Zhytomyr Oblast

On December 24, the russian army shelled 7 communities of Sumy Oblast. 68 explosions were recorded.

Eastern Oblasts
Kharkiv Oblast
During the day, 10 communities came under artillery and mortar fire. The russian military used “Uragan” and “Pion” to hit Vilkhuvatka and Pidseredne. Civil infrastructure objects were damaged in Vovchansk as a result of russian shelling.
In the Kupyansk direction, the russians do not reduce the intensity of their assaults, but they suffer losses.
The Armed Forces of Ukraine in the Kupyansk direction repelled 21 russian attacks near Synkivka in Kharkiv Oblast and Stelmakhivka in Luhansk Oblast. Three villages in the region were hit by airstrikes.

Kherson Oblast
Russian troops shelled Kherson Oblast 71 times per day. They hit residential areas, hit the territory of the factory in Kherson. One person died, two were injured.
As a result of yesterday’s shelling of Chornobayivka, 26 houses, a gym, educational and medical institutions, an agricultural facility, road infrastructure, and three communal buses were damaged. At least 25 artillery strikes of the russian army on the village were recorded.
Air defense forces destroyed three “Shahed-136” type drones over the Kherson Oblast at night. It was not possible to avoid being hit in the Beryslav raion. A fire broke out in the warehouse, which the rescuers have already extinguished.
At night, the russian army attacked Kherson again. As a result of russian projectiles, a car was on fire in one of the neighborhoods, and a garage was on fire in the suburbs. The fires were extinguished.
As of December 25, 5.2 thousand subscribers remain without electricity in Kherson. In the Kherson Oblast, 45 settlements were cut off.
Central Oblasts
Dnipro Oblast
At the night of December 25, five russian drones were shot down over Dnipro Oblast by the Ukrainian Armed Forces: two in Synelnyky and Dnipro Raions, and one in Pavlohrad Raion. The falling debris damaged an outbuilding and a grain loader. A one-story building caught fire and was extinguished. No one was killed or injured.
Today, the military of the “East” Air Command destroyed an X-59 guided missile in Kryvyi Rih Raion.
Due to reports of a bomb threat in Dnipro, 32 colleges and a shopping center were checked over the past day. No explosives were found.
The police in Kryvyi Rih received a bomb threat to all schools in the region.
Philanthropists from the “Raise of Ukraine” foundation are holding drawing workshops for IDPs in Dnipro. The meetings are aimed at psychological support and communication. In particular, women from Luhansk Oblast attended art therapy.
Kirovohrad Oblast
Christmas gifts were delivered to Ukrainian defenders by partners from the Lower Silesian Voivodeship of the Republic of Poland. They were delivered to leading medical institutions where the soldiers are currently undergoing treatment and rehabilitation.
Residents of the Kropyvnytskyi Raion’s Znamianka community assembled seven minibusses of aid for the defenders and sent two drones. The Kropyvnytskyi Special Forces recorded a video for Ukrainians with Merry Christmas greetings. The soldiers’ message was posted on the official Facebook page of the 3rd separate Special Forces regiment named after Prince Sviatoslav the Brave.
Poltava Oblast
The first nine veterans’ assistants appeared in the region as part of a pilot project of the Ministry of Veterans. They received certificates after the training. Subsequently, the specialists will accompany veterans in communities and help them in the process of transition from military to civilian life.
In Poltava, they plan to set up a live Christmas tree near the Hohol Theater. A collection to help the military will also be organized near it. The money will be used to repair vehicles for the Armed Forces.
Western Oblasts
Khmelnytskyi Oblast

Today, December 25, the first Christmas service in Ukrainian was held at the Holy Protection Cathedral in Khmelnytskyi.
Chernivtsi Oblast
A New Year’s photo zone was set up on Philharmonic Square in Chernivtsi. This is the only location in the city that was decorated for the Christmas and New Year holidays. It was decorated with colored balloons and Christmas paraphernalia. All the decorations are from last year, so no money was spent on it.
Ternopil Oblast
Ternopil artist Natalia Basarab has painted more than fifty portraits of servicemen who defend Ukraine in the Armed Forces. She launched the charity project Their Eyes Look into the Soul this summer. The artist presents her works to the military by heart. This has a positive effect on their psychological state and evokes joyful emotions.
Zakarpattia Oblast
In the village of Neresnytsia, Tyachiv Raion, on December 25, children carol and raise money to support the Armed Forces. The proceeds will be transferred to the front for the needs of the military.
