Northern Oblasts

Kyiv Oblast 

Bucha handed over five Mavic drones for border guards on the front line. More than 800 thousand hryvnias was spent from the local budget to purchase the UAVs. The community has also launched a charity fundraiser called “A Flock of Drones” to support the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

Zhytomyr Oblast

A new volunteer project called Polissia Birds was launched in Zhytomyr to make FPV drones. The first drone assembled by the project participants is already being tested. Within a week, the volunteers plan to make 11 more drones.

Chernihiv Oblast

On February 18, the russian army shelled the Semenivka community in Chernihiv Oblast with tube artillery and mortars.

Sumy Oblast

Yesterday, the russian military fired 12 times at the border of Sumy Oblast, 81 explosions were recorded from mortars, artillery, MLRS and AGS. Five communities came under fire.

16 settlements in Sumy Oblast were left without electricity, affecting a total of almost 2,500 consumers.

Yesterday, a man was killed during the shelling of Velyka Pysarivka by russian troops. About 10 households were damaged. The Humanitarian Mission “Proliska” brought to the village materials for quick repairs and non-food items.

Today the russian army resumed shelling Sumy Oblast. Nine mortar explosions were recorded. Two communities were shelled.

Eastern Oblasts

Kharkiv Oblast

Four Shahed drones were destroyed in Kharkiv Oblast last night. The enemy launched the drones from the territory of Belgorod Oblast.

A 50-year-old resident of Vovchanski Khutory, who was wounded during russian shelling on February 16, died in hospital.

Two security guards of a civilian enterprise in Vovchansk were wounded in the shelling. The russians struck with mortars, damaging buildings and cars. The wounded were hospitalized.

President Zelenskyy visited Kharkiv Oblast and visited the battalion command post of the 14th separate mechanized brigade named after Prince Roman the Great, which is performing combat missions to defend Kupyansk.

Donetsk Oblast 

On February 18, the russian army shelled nine settlements in Donetsk Oblast. They fired from the S-300 anti-aircraft missile systems and artillery. Selidove, Krasnohorivka, and Ocheretyne came under fire.

The Ukrainian military repelled 41 attacks by russian troops in Donetsk and Luhansk Oblasts. Most of the fighting took place in the Maryinka direction.

In the morning, air defense forces shot down two russian planes in the eastern direction – a Su-34 fighter-bomber and a Su-35S fighter-bomber, which were attacking the positions of our troops with guided air bombs.

Pokrovsk and Pokrovsk raion

During the battles for Avdiyivka, the servicemen of the 3rd Separate Assault Brigade were completely surrounded, but were able to get out.

Southern Oblasts 

Mykolayiv Oblast 

During the day of February 18, russian troops struck the communities of Mykolaiv Oblast with drones and artillery. People were not injured.

Zaporizhzhia Oblast 

402 strikes were made by the russian army in 12 towns and villages of the Zaporizhzhia Oblast during the day.

In particular, it shelled 5 communities with artillery 241 times, and used drones, anti-aircraft missiles and aviation in other settlements.

In the Zaporizhzhya Oblast, the russian army unsuccessfully tried to attack the positions of Ukrainian troops in the Robotyne area 10 times.

IAEA experts visited Energodar to assess the consequences of an alleged UAV attack claimed by russia. The agency’s team was escorted to two of the four alleged attack sites.

Odesa Oblast

The Ukrainian Danube Shipping Company renamed 23 vessels: they were named after the temporarily occupied cities of Ukraine, such as Mariupol, Henichesk, Oleshky, and Sevastopol. 

Kherson Oblast

Over the past day, russian troops fired 21 times at Kherson Oblast. They attacked the port infrastructure of Kherson. No one was killed or wounded.

At night, the russian military shelled the settlements of the Zelenivsky starosta district of the Kherson community. Houses and an educational institution were damaged. No one was killed or injured.

Central Oblasts

Dnipropetrovsk Oblast

At night on February 19, russian troops fired twice at Nikopol Raion with artillery. They fired about a dozen shells. Nikopol and Marhanets communities were attacked. Two private houses were damaged. No one was killed or injured. 

In Dnipro, 32 power engineers and utility workers who eliminated the consequences of the russian army’s strikes in Dnipropetrovsk Oblast were awarded.

Kirovohrad Oblast

This afternoon, an explosion was recorded in Kropyvnytskyi Raion during an air raid alert, with no injuries or damage.

Cherkasy Oblast 

Law enforcers detained a russian intelligence agent who was preparing air attacks on railways and military hospitals in Cherkasy Oblast. The man, a native of Luhansk Oblast, moved to Cherkasy Oblast, where he established contact with a representative of the General Staff of the russian armed forces. He is currently in custody.

Poltava Oblast

Explosions were heard in Poltava Oblast during an air raid alert. No hits were recorded in the region. No one was killed or injured.
