Northern Oblasts

Kyiv Oblast

The head of the NATO Representation in Ukraine, Mrs. Karen Mctear, visited Kyiv Oblast. On her trip to the Oblast, she was accompanied by the head of the Kyiv Oblast Military Administration, Ruslan Kravchenko, representatives of KOMA and local self-government bodies. The members of the delegation visited Borodyanka, Bucha and Irpin – the cities that suffered the most from the occupiers.

In Gostomel, fishermen found a machine gun of the occupiers in a reservoir – the police of the Kyiv Oblast. Law enforcement officers once again call on citizens to be careful during outdoor recreation in de-occupied communities.

Chernihiv Oblast

On July 26, russian troops shelled the border community of Semenivka in Chernihiv Oblast. Border guards recorded 25 explosions in the direction of the village of Bleshnya.

On July 27, the President of Ukraine, Volodymyr Zelenskyi, on the occasion of the Day of Medical Workers, honored the doctors of Chernihiv Oblast with state awards.

Sumy Oblast

During the day of July 26, the russian military carried out 14 shellings on the border of Sumy Oblast, 96 explosions were recorded. 10 settlements in six communities of the Oblast were shelled: Bilopillia, Krasnopillia, Velyka Pysarivka, Nova Sloboda, Esman, and Znob-Novgorodske.

During the night and morning of July 27, the russians shelled the border areas of Sumy Oblast four times: settlements in Bilopillia, Khotin, Seredyna-Buda, and Shalygyne communities. 16 explosions were recorded. Previously – without injuries and destruction.

Eastern Oblasts

Kharkiv Oblast

Last night, the enemy attacked the village of Kivsharivka in the Kupyansk raion with a KAB-250 guided air bomb. A hit was recorded next to a 5-story residential building. The house was damaged, a wall collapsed in one of the apartments. A nearby 9-story building was also damaged. A 74-year-old woman died. Women aged 35, 81 and 71, and a 74-year-old man, in average condition, were injured.

Also, at night, a S-300 missile hit a non-residential building in Velykyi Burluk village of Kupyansk raion. The building was damaged, there was a fire.

During the past day, the russian invaders fired artillery, mortars and other weapons at populated areas of Bogodukhiv, Kharkiv, Izyum, Chuguyiv and Kupyansk raions.

There were forest fires, the lyceum building was damaged by mortar fire in the village of Ivashky, Bogodukhiv raion. In the village of Perovske, a critical infrastructure object was damaged by mortar shelling. No casualties.

Donetsk Oblast

During July 26, the russian military shelled 16 settlements in the Donetsk Oblast with aircraft, «Hrads», artillery, and «Hurricanes». As a result of shelling, one person died, nine people were injured. Photo 

Since February 24, 2022, the russians have killed 1,635 civilians of Donetsk Oblast, injured another 3,905. The number of victims in Mariupol and Volnovakha is currently unknown.

Kramatorsk and Kramatorsk raion

In the Lysychansk direction, a house in Siversk and 2 houses in Torske of the Lyman community were damaged as a result of russian rocket fire.

A house was damaged in Bilokuzmynivka of the Kostyantynivka community.

Pokrovsk and Pokrovsk raion

In the Donetsk direction, 2 houses were damaged in Kurakhove yesterday.

On the morning of July 27, the russian army shelled Avdiyivka with “Grads” and artillery and rockets aimed at the coke chemical plant. 

2 people were injured in the Maryinka community: in Krasnohorivka and Novomykhailivka; 1 person was injured in Solovyove of the Ocheretyne community.

Volnovakha and Volnovakha raion

The defense forces were successful in the area of ​​Staromayorske of the Volnovakha raion and are entrenched at the achieved boundaries.

Bakhmut and Bakhmut Raion

In the Horlivka direction, the Toretsk community suffered numerous shellings: 12 houses were damaged in New York, 5 in Toretsk, 1 in Zalizne. In the Chasovyi Yar community, 5 houses were destroyed. One person was injured in Vasiukivka, the Soledar community.

Ukrainian troops continue to advance north and south of the city of Bakhmut.

Southern Oblasts

Mykolaiv Oblast

Yesterday, July 26, the enemy launched a mortar shelling, and today, July 27, an artillery shelling of the water area in the Ochakiv community. There were no casualties.

Also, yesterday, July 26, artillery shelling of the settlement in the Kutsurub community was recorded. As a result, residential buildings and farm buildings were damaged. There were no casualties.

In the Mykolaiv, Pervomaisk, Bashtanka and Voznesensk raions, the day and night passed relatively calmly.

Zaporizhzhia Oblast

During the past day, July 26, the russian army shelled populated areas of the Zaporizhzhia Oblast 72 times. Today, July 27, planned controlled explosions were carried out in Zaporizhzhia. It was loud.

Odesa Oblast

At night, the russian army launched a missile attack on the port infrastructure of the Odesa Oblast. One of the port’s administration buildings was hit. A 43-year-old employee died in the explosion. The production equipment of one of the cargo terminals was damaged.

It became known about one more person killed as a result of a missile attack on July 23. Dog rescuers found a woman’s body near a destroyed house on Parkova Street after residents complained about a “corpse smell.”

The Odesa City Council will increase funding for the needs of military air defense units and mobile fire groups by UAH 43.2 million and UAH 150 million, respectively. In total, this is almost UAH 200 million. Such a decision was made at a meeting of the executive committee.

In the Odesa Oblast, 42 settlements were left without electricity due to bad weather at night, four of them partially.

Kherson Oblast

Over the past day, the russian army shelled the Kherson Oblast 40 times. The enemy hit Kherson with these projectiles. The building of an educational institution and the territory of two farms in the Beryslav Raion were damaged. There were no casualties or injuries.

On July 26, 12 fires were recorded in open areas of 9.14 hectares in the Kherson Oblast. Half of them were caused by shelling of the russian army.

Around 8:00 a.m., the russian army hit Havrylivka, the Novooleksandrivka community, 30 times. Hits were recorded on the outskirts of the village, a local cemetery and a critical infrastructure facility. There were no casualties or injuries.

Yesterday, the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed a large-caliber cannon, an unmanned reconnaissance vehicle “Orlan-10” and 16 russian servicemen on the left bank of the Kherson Oblast.

Central Oblast

Dnipropetrovsk Oblast

On the night of July 27, russian troops fired nearly three dozen shells from heavy artillery in the Nikopol Raion. In total, the enemy hit the area 7 times. An educational institution, an administrative building, a communications company, a post office and a church were damaged. Two 2-story houses and an outbuilding and power lines were also damaged. There were no casualties or injuries.

Russian troops also attacked the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast with a drone. The Armed Forces of Ukraine shot down the Orlan unmanned aerial vehicle in the sky.

In Dnipro, patrol police officers opened a children’s camp “Cop Camp”. Participants are taught self-defense, first aid, tactics and fire safety. Boys and girls aged 9 to 12 attend the camp.

Poltava Oblast

Repair crews from the Poltava Oblast have already started installing windows in 23 houses of Kherson residents. For this, they brought the first 48 windows. Entrance doors were also installed in five houses. 23 workers are involved in the process. In addition, 16 houses were provided with building materials.

The Poltava lyceum with enhanced military and patriotic training will be named after the Hero of Ukraine Vitalii Hrytsaenko, a compatriot, soldier of the “Azov” battalion who defended Mariupol. This decision was supported by the commission on education, science and culture of the oblast council. Later, this issue will be considered at the session.

Switzerland within the project “DECIDE: Reconstruction. The initiative to restore schools” will help the Poltava Oblast to equip shelters in schools. It is planned to create an educational co-working space in each of the equipped protective structures.

One of the constant needs of the military on the front lines is camouflage nets. Therefore, in Poltava, fundraising for fabric was announced to help the defenders remain invisible to the enemy.

Vinnytsia Oblast

Five people were injured in Vinnytsia by fragments of russian Kalibr missiles. Air defense systems shot down two missiles in the suburbs on July 26 during an air raid in the region. Commercial and technical premises were also damaged.

Vinnytsia is introducing a system for automatically opening locks in apartment building shelters. This work started with the city’s educational institutions.

In Vinnytsia, writer and crisis psychologist Daria Palamarchuk conducts fairy tale and art therapy for displaced children and Ukrainian soldiers. These classes are part of the charity project “Ecological Fairy Tales Come to Life.” The project is based on augmented reality fairy tales about nature that teach children environmental awareness and help them cope with the stress of war.

Western Oblasts

Rivne Oblast

In the Rivne Oblast, the mother of a fallen soldier donated new clothes from her boutique to a volunteer headquarters. In this way, she decided to support other mothers and women whose relatives were killed defending Ukraine.

Lviv Oblast

American philanthropists have donated a mobile blood collection unit to the First Medical Unit of Lviv. Four donors will be able to donate blood there simultaneously.

Khmelnytskyi Oblast

At night in the Khmelnytsky Oblast, air defense forces destroyed Iranian Shahed-136/131 kamikaze drones launched by russia from the direction of prymorsk-akhtarsk.

Chernivtsi Oblast

“Serhiy Popovych, a resident of Kitsman, Oleksandr Kostiuk, a resident of Klivodyn village, and Yevhen Babiuk, a resident of Miliyeve village, received the Golden Cross from the Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Valeriy Zaluzhnyi, and Ruslan Kolomiets, a resident of Sokyriany community, received the badge “For Saved Life”.

Thanks to entrepreneurs, farmers, and residents of the Verenchansk community, 600 kg of nails, 3000 meters of insulated wire, 10 rolls of film, 1500 bags, and 150 liters of diesel fuel were purchased for one of the military units. In addition, a village resident of Borivtsi purchased a thermal imager at his own expense.

The Center for Emergency Medical Care and Disaster Medicine received 13 new ambulances. The transport for the service was purchased by the Ministry of Health.

The Dergachiv community in Kharkiv Oblast received 44 tons of humanitarian aid in the form of food from the community of Chernivtsi.

Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast

On July 27, on the Day of Medical Workers, the President of Ukraine awarded the title of “Honored Doctor of Ukraine” to two doctors from Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast – Oksana Makarchuk and Volodymyr Petrash.

Ternopil Oblast

Jonas Andersen Sayed, the head of the Sokndal community, came to the Zalozetska community by bike from Norway. During this bike ride, he raised more than 500 thousand hryvnias for the Armed Forces. 

In Ternopil, an aerial reconnaissance man from Kalush, Vladyslav Nimak, presented a photo exhibition “Landscapes we did not deserve”. The author chose the photos from thousands of hours of video of the occupied territories filmed with quadcopters.

Zakarpattia Oblast

Land plots belonging to russian citizens were confiscated in Berehove and Mukachevo Raions. These are land plots of almost 6 hectares.

18 children from the Novokakhovka, Tavriya, and Khrestiv communities of the Kherson Oblast were sent to Zakarpattia for rehabilitation. There they will undergo rehabilitation and attend excursions.
