Tonight, the enemy shelled Novotroitske – starosta district of the Pokrovsk community. About 10 residential buildings and several social facilities were damaged. Defense forces of Ukraine continue to move forward in Luhansk Oblast, “slowly but surely”. As the head of the Luhansk OVA, Serhii Haydai, said, the Ukrainian defenders did not make major breakthroughs, but at the same time, they successfully repelled all attempts to break through our defenses by the enemy. Today at about 8:00 am the enemy launched missile attacks on Zaporizhzhia. The first strikes were carried out by missiles with the use of aircraft. During the second strike, the enemy used S-300 air defense systems. Due to the shelling, critical infrastructure sites were damaged. As a result, almost the entire city of Zaporizhzhia – more than 200 thousand subscribers – remained without an electricity supply. Due to the lack of electricity supply, water supply was also absent in some areas. In one of the villages about 10 detached houses were damaged, in another – the territory with the buildings of the local farm.
Thanks to the prompt work of rescuers and electricians, the fire was quickly eliminated and the networks were repaired. As of 3:00 pm, the power supply has been restored in most parts of the city. As of now, no victims have been reported.

Last night, Zaporizhzhiaoblenergo and local authorities warned that to stabilize the situation in the unified energy system of Ukraine, starting from October 31, by the order of NPC Ukrenergo, hourly outage schedules will be introduced in Zaporizhzhia oblast (on the territory controlled by Ukraine). Subscribers were to be disconnected from a power supply in 4 stages (on average for 3 – 5 hours). However, due to the emergency shutdown as a result of missile strikes, the planned rolling blackouts have been canceled.

This led to the mass death of fish in the pond, which is inhabited by warm-water tilapia and Asian catfish. They are necessary to ensure environmental cleanliness: fish perform a sanitary function, destroying green algae and ensuring the cleanliness of the cooling tubes of the turbine condenser. If the water temperature in the cooling pond does not rise shortly, about a thousand tons of dead fish will be washed ashore.

Since the beginning of the full-scale war, Rivne Oblast has received 80 000 refugees, 38 000 have remained in the region as of October.
At 08:40 in the morning, as a result of an enemy missile attack, a critical energy infrastructure facility in Chernivtsi Oblast was damaged: a fire occurred.
