Northern Oblasts
Kyiv

Chernihiv Oblast
Yesterday, on August 9, russian troops shelled the Snovsk hromada in Chernihiv Oblast. The enemy fired mortars from the russian settlement of Chornozemny Horodok around 1:00 p.m. 8 explosions were registered.
In Novoselivka, which is near Chernihiv, a modular town should be operational within a week. This was reported by the Head of Chernihiv Oblast Military Administration Vyacheslav Chaus.
A two-story modular town is also planned to be built in Chernihiv on Drozda Street. There will be settled local residents who lost their homes due to the armed aggression of the russian federation.
A museum of russian crimes is planned to be created in the village of Yahidne.
Sumy Oblast
In the morning, the russian military began shelling Sumy Oblast: they shelled Bilopillia Raion for two hours with small arms, grenade launchers and mortars. According to the border guards, more than 25 artillery shells and mortar shells were fired. The mayor of Bilopillia, Yuriy Zarko, warned the community that due to the unstable situation, humanitarian aid will not be provided today. Later, 30 barrel artillery shots were registered in the Shalyhyne hromada.
Around 3:20 p.m. in the Khotyn hromada, the villages of Verkhne and Nizhne Pishchane, Stetskivka of the Sumy hromada announced the threat of artillery fire. Due to shelling from the russian side, the gas pipeline was damaged and part of the settlements of the Khotyn community remain without gas. This was announced by the head of the Sumy Oblast Military Administration, Dmytro Zhivytskyi.
Three more militants of the terrorist organization “dpr” were found guilty of treason and sentenced to 15 years in prison with confiscation of property. All of them were part of the illegal armed formation of the so-called “4 separate motorized rifle battalion 119th dpr regiment.” They were captured at the end of March, during the liberation of Severia of the Sumy region.
Eastern oblasts
Kharkiv Oblast
No shelling was recorded in Kharkiv over the past day.
Russian occupiers shelled populated areas of the Kharkiv, Izium, and Chuhuiv raions.
The largest amount of destruction from enemy shelling was recorded in the village of Tsyrkuny, Kharkiv Raion. Yesterday, during the day, the village was shelled almost continuously. Private households, outbuildings, garages, and a store were destroyed. Enemy shells caused 16 fires; rescuers worked in an intensified mode.
In Tsyrkuny, a 64-year-old woman was wounded, she is in a moderate condition now. On the line of contact, the enemy is actively using tanks, tube and rocket artillery against our defenders. In the Kharkiv sector, the enemy tried to conduct an offensive in the Veterynarne – Udy area, but then retreated with losses under the fire of the Ukrainian troops. Fighting is still going on in the Bairak-Husarivka area.
Donetsk Oblast
The enemy is trying to resume the offensive in the Donetsk – Pisky area, hostilities continue. The enemy was advancing in the areas Mineralne – Avdiivka and Spartak – Avdiivka. The russians had no success, suffered losses and withdrew.
In the Ocheretyne community, periodic shelling was carried out in the area of Pisky during the night. In the morning, hostilities intensified, heavy artillery was used. According to preliminary information, there are no casualties among civilians.
In Siversk, all districts of the city came under shelling: a sports complex and a night club were partially ruined, some private houses are also known to be damaged. Information about the casualties is being clarified.
In the Zvanivka community, the russians used multiple rocket launchers in Pereizne, hitting a private house. No casualties reported.
On August 9, the russians killed 2 civilians of the Donetsk Oblast: in Ocheretyne and Shevchenko. Six more people were wounded.
Since February 24, the russians have killed 705 civilians of the Donetsk region, and wounded another 1,823.
Kramatorsk
No enemy activity in the city was recorded.
In addition, the morning was restless in Kostyantynivka and Mykolaivka. In Kostyantynivka, a russian projectile hit car shop, where a watchman was slightly wounded. In Mykolaivka, a rocket fell on a former sawmill: the fence was damaged, but there were no casualties.
The general situation in the community remains alarming. Today, another group of Kramatorsk residents went to Pokrovsk on an evacuation train.
From August 11, a special regime for the entry, exit and movement of vehicles will be in effect in the Donetsk Oblast. The special regime will provide for two main conditions: the unauthorized export from the Donetsk Oblast of special equipment that can be used for defense purposes (excavators, tractors, trawlers, etc.) is prohibited, and the ban is still valid on the entry and movement across the Donetsk Oblast of vehicles transporting alcoholic drinks and alcohol-based substances (except for medicines and disinfectants).
The corresponding order was issued by Colonel-General Oleksandr Syrskyi, the commander of the operational-strategic group of troops “Khortytsia”. This move is aimed at strengthening the Ukrainian defense capabilities. The special regime is established for the period of martial law, in accordance with the legislation.

In the Pokrovsk Raion, the Avdiivka, Ocheretyne, and Marinka communities are under fire. It is known that at least one person was wounded, but the exact number of casualties and the extent of damage are yet to be established.
In the Pokrovsk community, the past day was relatively quiet. No facts were recorded regarding the victims and destruction.
From August 10, humanitarian aid will stop to be issued in the Kurakhove community of the Pokrovsk Raion. According to the mayor Roman Padun, this is due to the threat of missile strikes. “Due to the high probability of enemy rocket attacks on the city center and congestion of people, the issuance of humanitarian aid will be suspended on August 10. Every day, the enemy inflicts rocket attacks on infrastructure facilities and residential buildings throughout the territory of Ukraine.”
Food packages and hygiene products continue to be issued in the Myrnohrad community of the Pokrovsk Raion.
Bakhmut
In the Bakhmut sector, the invaders shelled the areas of the settlements of Kostyantynivka, Bakhmut, Ivano-Daryivka, Pokrovske, Zaitseve, Kodema, Kurdiumivka, Bakhmutske, Soledar, Yakovlivka, and Vershyna with tube and rocket artillery, as well as tanks. Air strikes were carried out by assault and army aviation forces near Spirne, Soledar, Bakhmut, Zaitseve, and Vershyna.
The enemy made attempts to conduct assault operations in the directions of Novoluhanske – Spirne, Volodymyrivka – Yakovlivka, and Striapivka – Soledar, but had no success and retreated.
Bakhmut was shelled at night: a fire broke out in one of the buildings. The russians also attacked the city market the night before, damaging 35 retail outlets. This is another deliberate attack on a place where civilians gathered. This time there were no casualties.

Mariupol
Mariupol residents are still without electricity at home. Despite the loud statements of the invaders that the city is illuminated, local residents write that the occupiers supply electric power to their institutions, but not to residential buildings.
In occupied Mariupol, at 12:00, a powerful explosion was heard in the Tsentralnyi district near the ECO market. This was reported on the Telegram channel of the Mariupol City Council, but they can neither refute nor confirm the information about the activity of the Mariupol resistance group.
In Mariupol, the invaders planted mines even on children’s playgrounds. Now residents are finding them.
Luhansk Oblast
The russian occupiers decided not to restore Popasna, as they had promised the people who remained in the city the day before. Starting in February, the russians wiped out Popasna, and subsequently entered the city. Loud promises had been made for several months, until the decision was made to leave everything as it is – that is, not to rebuild the destroyed city at all. This was announced by Serhii Haidai, the head of the Luhansk Regional Military Administration.
Over the past day, the russian forces carried out nine sorties of assault and army aviation aircraft. The Ukrainian military neutralized several reconnaissance groups of the russian army, and the latter’s assault operations in three directions at once also failed – the Ukrainian army forced the invaders to retreat.
Soldiers of the International Company of the Armed Forces of Ukraine, Yevhen Olefirenko and Stanislav Koval, took some books out of Lysychansk on the eve of the capture of the city by the russians. The rescued books were transferred to the Kyiv Central Library named after T.G. Shevchenko for children. These fighters wanted to hand them over together, but 33-year-old Yevhen was killed a few days after the capture of Lysychansk in the battle near Bakhmut. On one of the saved books (the comic book “Confrontation: Red Terror”) the fighters left their wishes for future readers. On behalf of Yevhen, the book was signed by his family
Southern oblasts
Kherson Oblast
Yesterday, in the south, the aviation of the Armed Forces of Ukraine attacked five places of concentration and two strongholds of the russian troops. An ammunition depot in Novooleksiivka, Henichesk Raion, was also destroyed. This was announced by Vladislav Nazarov, the speaker of the Operational Command “South”.
Today, the Armed Forces of Ukraine attacked the Kakhovka bridge. After the strikes, this bridge over the Kakhovka hydroelectric power plant is not suitable for use. Now the Armed Forces of Ukraine keep the Kakhovka Bridge under fire control.
The occupation authorities of the Kherson Oblast announced the introduction of a permit system for the transportation of agricultural produce of the oblast. Mykolaiv Oblast
At night, around 01:40, the enemy shelled Mykolaiv with Smerch rocket launchers. According to preliminary information, three people were injured. Among them is a 13-year-old girl. Residential buildings were damaged as a result of shelling. There were also hits on the territory of the enterprise, warehouses, and the depot.
Yesterday, in the first half of the day, because of enemy shelling of the Shevchenkove community, residential buildings and farm buildings were damaged in the village of Shevchenkove and the village of Luch.
Also, on August 9, in the afternoon, shelling of the Pervomaiske hromada in the village of Kostyantynivka caused fire in the nearby territories of residential buildings. In Pervomaiske, the consequences of damage after enemy shelling are being clarified.
In the afternoon, August 9, and at night, August 10, the russians shelled the populated areas of Halytsynivka hromada. As a result, residential buildings were damaged and coniferous litter and forest plantations of Halytsynivka forest tract caught fire.
The Shyroke community was shelled yesterday. So, around 16:00 there were shelling outside the village of Poliyana which led to fire in the fields. Also, at approximately 9:30 p.m., fields caught fire due to shelling outside the village of Shyroke.
Settlements of the Berezneguvate community, located on the demarcation line, remain under constant fire.
Odesa Oblast
The day in the community passed peacefully. The threat of rocket attacks remains.
A mobile medical center has started working in the humanitarian center of the Kyiv region (school #27). There you can get a family doctor’s consultation, measure your blood pressure and sign a declaration. Other mobile medical centers work in all districts of Odesa: humanitarian center of the Primorsky district – school No. 117; the humanitarian center of the Malinovsky District – H. Gamov Square; humanitarian center of the Suvorov district – school #22.
People are united and active, volunteer, and take part in charity events.

Kirovograd Oblast
There was an air raid alarm in the community, there was a threat of a missile attack on Kropyvnytskyi. Currently, the situation in the communities is calm and under control.
The head of the Kirovograd Regional Military Administration, Andrii Raykovych, gave official information about the explosions, which are so actively reported by Telegram channels. He emphasized that there was no need to worry. Explosive objects were being destroyed at the landfill, not far from the regional center. This work is planned for another 5-7 days. Therefore, the official asked all citizens to remain calm and not to panic.
In Kropyvnytskyi, the “Angel of Life” charitable foundation is starting a project for children who were forced to leave their homes – “Dream of School”. The organizers want to collect school supplies for the new school year for the little migrants.
The executive committee of the Kropyvnytskyi city council allowed a local company, the name of which has not been disclosed, to place a quickly assembled shelter in the center of the city. “Each such protective object significantly increases the chances of survival for the city’s residents and forced migrants, because it effectively protects against the blast wave and missile fragments during air attacks. It is important that the manufacturer of such shelters is a regional enterprise, so the structural elements will be delivered to Kropyvnytskyi promptly,” said Oleg Kolyuka, secretary of the Kropyvnytskyi City Council.

Poltava Oblast

Khmilnyk and Khmilnyk Raion
Air raid sirens sounded throughout the day. The past day was relatively calm in the Khmilnyk community.
The chess club “White Black” opened its doors in the Center of Culture and Leisure of the Glukhiv Township Council of the Kozyatyn Territorial Community of the Khmilnyk Raion. Chess tournaments and training for novice athletes will be held here. Mykola Lukomskyi and Serhiy Semenyuk will teach everyone to play chess.
Activist and volunteer Serhiy Sivakivskyi from Kozyatyn once again organized a fundraiser to help the Ukrainian military. This time they are collecting funds for the repair of a car that came under fire.

Lviv Oblast
There were no air alarms in the region.
Another 306 people arrived in Lviv by two evacuation trains. 761 people were sent from Lviv Oblast to Przemyśl by four trains. 17 thousand 947 people left through checkpoints in Lviv oblast. Instead, 17,983 Ukrainians returned.
Limited liability company “AGK Ukraine”, which has been actively working in Luhansk oblast for 20 years, moved to Chervonohrad raion. The enterprise specializes in the production of primary pharmaceutical packaging (production of plastic packaging for medicinal products). Soon, the business from Luhansk oblast plans to work at full capacity again.
The Lviv National Philharmonic Society collected 50,000 hryvnias for the needs of the Armed Forces of Ukraine. This amount was collected thanks to the holding of the 41st International Festival of Musical Art “Virtuosos”, the 6th International Music Marathon in memory of Vasyl Slipak and the musical and literary event “Between the Sirens”.
5,000 hryvnias were transferred to the volunteer association “Dobrochynets” and 50,000 hryvnias to the Military Chaplaincy Center of the Ukrainian Greek-Catholic Church of the Lviv Archdiocese.
At night, an exhibition of russian military equipment, which was destroyed by the Armed Forces of Ukraine, began to be mounted on Rynok Square in Lviv. Among the russian scrap metal is a T-72 tank, a self-propelled artillery mount 2C1 “Gvozdika”, an anti-tank missile complex “Sturm”, a self-propelled anti-aircraft missile complex “Buk”, a self-propelled artillery mount 2C19 “Msta – S”.
Drohobych
The situation is calm. A plan for enhanced defense of the Drohobych raion was discussed. Specialists work every day to make the country stronger. Therefore, the army is being strengthened and becoming even more combat-ready, and the Drohobych raion is always ready to repel the enemy.
The special commission under the Drohobych raion military administration will continue to inspect the hotels of Truskavets and Skhidnytsia regarding the registration of internally displaced men who temporarily live in the raion. This happens because the hoteliers do not conscientiously fulfill their duty to send lists and notices about the men who have settled in hotels and about the need to be registered.
In the community, educational institutions are inspected for the presence of shelters. The special commission should make its conclusions at the end of this month regarding the recommended educational institutions and their safety for children during the educational process.
Work with internally displaced citizens is intensifying. Recently, 17 children of IDPs and children of Ukrainian soldiers living in the Drohobych raion went to a summer camp in France, Poland and Croatia. 2 more children will go on a health vacation from August 12.
Care is also provided for children in territorial communities who need support. Since the beginning of 2022, hundreds of thousands of hryvnias have been allocated from the state budget for rehabilitation measures for children with disabilities. Already 7 children with disabilities from Drogobych raion were able to undergo rehabilitation in the relevant centers in Kyiv and Truskavets.
Ivano-Frankivsk Oblast
The situation in the oblast is stable and under control.

In Ivano-Frankivsk, many organizations work to make the stay of people who have been forced to move to the community as comfortable as possible. Thus, a month ago, in the premises of the former Department of Education, the joint efforts of the Charitable Foundation “Caritas”, the Greek Catholic Church and the city managed to open a center for the reception of internally displaced persons. And a week ago, a free laundry for vulnerable categories and IDPs was opened on the basis of the center.
Rivne Oblast
The general situation is relatively calm, there were no air alarms as of 17:00.
After February 24, 10 employees of Rafalivka Forestry of Rivne Oblast volunteered for the front. These are employees of the state forest protection, drivers, mechanics. They know how to hold a weapon in their hands and make a fire in the forest in rain or snow. Also, men became skilled military firefighters. After all, there are a lot of fires after shelling.
The staff of the Derman educational complex, employees of the library, cultural center, local entrepreneurs and caring villagers held a charity fair to buy a car for Ukrainian defenders. They auctioned 57,100 hryvnias, which have already been handed over to volunteers. However, the collection of funds was continued, because there were still many willing to help financially. 11-year-old Victoria Greben also joined the fundraising. She brought 611 hryvnias from her piggy bank. The girl’s brother died in the war. So she wanted to help his congeners.
