Soldiers of the Armed Forces of Ukraine and Territorial Defence are preparing to meet the enemy.

An interview with the Secretary of the Kramatorsk City Council Igor Stashkevych has been published.

Residents of the community were informed about the planned power outages in some areas of the city.

More and more people are returning to the city, despite the approach of the front line. But after spending a few days in the city and hearing distant explosions, they leave again.

The situation is alarming. The anxiety of the population is added by reports of bloggers and military experts about possible enemy attacks in the direction of the city.

The Active Community Coordinator continues to coordinate the work of the Humanitarian Aid Center. Today, more than 500 food kits have been issued.

Pokrovsk and Pokrovsky Raion

During the day, the enemy fired on settlements – Avdiyivka, Kurakhove, Ocheretino.

The russian occupiers are calling from an unknown number to the residents of Avdiivka asking for the address and number of people in the house (they ask directly, as if they were old acquaintances, and are worried about the fate of the city). The man answers, and a few minutes after the call, the house is covered by enemy artillery. This was reported by the press service of the Avdiivka city military administration.

The last day in the Pokrov community was relatively calm. There are no casualties or damage. Utilities work in a regular mode.

Unprotected categories of residents of the Pokrovsky community receive electric stoves with a grant from the Danish Council.

The city of Pokrovsk in the Donetsk oblast has always been called the western gate of Donbas, today it is a kind of evacuation hub.

Bakhmut

In the Bakhmut direction, the enemy increased the intensity of the use of operational-tactical and army aircraft. It shelled the positions of Ukrainian units with mortars, artillery and rocket-propelled grenade launchers in the areas of Pokrovske, Berestove, Zolote-4, Vrubivka, Travneve, Yakovlivka and Dolomitne. Inflicted air strikes by Ka-52 helicopters in the areas of Pokrovske, Vidrodzhennya and Yakovlivka.

There was an air strike on Bakhmut: there are victims. The occupiers shelled the city around 8 am. Russian shells hit an educational institution and an administrative building where people were staying. There is damage in the centre and on the outskirts of the city. The target school was previously badly damaged – in 2003, military depots exploded next to it. After that, the school was rebuilt so that the children could return to their desks. Now the school is completely destroyed. Before the full-scale war, almost 400 children studied there. Police, rescuers and explosives technicians continue to work on the site. Disaster analysis and survey of the territory is underway. Previously, there is information about the victims. Investigators together with the SBU documented Russia’s war crime under Art. 438 of the Criminal Code (Violation of the laws and customs of war). The work continues.

The coordinator of the Active Community AUI provided advice to citizens on receiving humanitarian aid.

Mariupol

The Russians continue to plunder Mariupol. They are loading another batch of Ukrainian metal on ships that will deliver the stolen goods to Rostov-on-Don, russia. At the same time, the humanitarian situation in the temporarily occupied Mariupol is difficult. The Russians cannot rebuild important infrastructure and provide the necessary assistance to the citizens. They supply water through rusty pipes from fire trucks. There are catastrophically few doctors in the city.

The occupiers built a new cemetery for cars on the penalty area in Illichivsk raion.

Luhansk Oblast

The hottest spot in the Luhansk oblast is Severodonetsk. Fierce battles are taking place there, and Ukrainian defenders are fighting for every inch of the city. The russians are trying to capture the city by June 10. The russians are constantly shelling the Lysychansk-Bakhmut highway. Therefore, this road is not used for evacuation.

In Lysychansk, it is dangerous even in the city centre. It was on one of the central streets of the city yesterday that a local resident was killed and one woman was wounded after artillery shelling. Several high-rise buildings were damaged.

Also over the past 24 hours, 25 houses in Vrubivka and Zolotoye were damaged by russian shelling.

Southern Oblasts

Zaporizhzhia Oblast

The situation remains tense. An air alarm is often heard in the area.

In the Melitopol district, the russian occupiers left almost all checkpoints. There is a possibility that the russians are afraid of an attack by Ukrainian defenders. On the other hand, such behaviour can be explained by partial rotation.

On June 6, russian troops shelled the towns of Huliaipole, Orikhiv, and the village of Preobrazhenka. A 10-year-old child was injured in the shelling. The enemy also fired on the village of Stepnogirsk (Vasyliv district). The housing stock of the third micro district and the kindergarten were destroyed. One person was injured and hospitalized.

Yesterday, on June 7, at half past seven in the morning, air defence forces shot down a missile. During the day, russian troops shelled Gulyaipole and Pologi districts and destroyed civilian objects. In particular, the main gas pipeline to the Polohy and Huliaipole gas distribution stations was damaged. The Zaporizhzhia Oblast Military Administration reported that 14,822 consumers were left without a gas supply.

During the past 24hrs, the Armed Forces of Ukraine destroyed 2 russian munitions depots, 6 armoured combat vehicles, 1 mortar and 3 units of motor vehicles in the Zaporizhzhia direction.

In Energodar, the russian occupiers continue to kidnap people. In the last week alone, they have detained and taken away about 20 locals in an unknown direction, 11 of them – employees of the Zaporizhzhia NPP.

The IAEA Director General said that Ukraine had allegedly asked him to come to the Zaporizhzhia NPP. Energoatom denies this information. Such statements can be interpreted as a step towards legalizing the stay of russian invaders at the power plant.

A deputy of the village council of Velyka Bilozerka, who agreed to help the russian occupiers to fight against the Armed Forces of Ukraine, was informed about the suspicion of collaboration. The man was detained, and the court chose a measure of restraint in the form of detention.

In the Zaporizhzhia oblast on the front line between Ukraine and russia, the bodies of the dead were exchanged according to the “50 to 50” formula. 37 of them are Azovstal defenders.

The team of AUI “Active Community” in Zaporizhzhia over the weekend held art therapy classes “Jewelry with flowers made of foamiran” for children and adolescents.

Kherson Oblast

There is still no connection to the Kherson oblast. The situation is critical in many communities. There are villages where people have been living in basements for months, there is no light, and all possible stocks are running out. The russians do not allow to help.

There are reports that people are once again being able to leave the occupied territories, but these are not green corridors. This is a huge risk, in which there are no guarantees to get to the controlled area safely.

About 600 people are being held hostage in the oblast. These are mostly activists and journalists who organized pro-Ukrainian rallies in the Kherson region. Or those who refused to cooperate with the russians.

Residents of the oblast are resisting the occupation. Pro-Russian posters are torn down, and covered with paint, and Ukrainian leaflets are distributed.

Mykolaiv Oblast

Over the past day, the russians fired at a number of settlements of the oblast, except for the city of Mykolaiv. The town of Bashtanka and the villages of Kaluha, Zelenyi Hai, Zasillia and Murakhivka came under shelling. Three fires broke out as a result of the shelling.

On the night of June 8, the armed forces of the russian federation once again fired at residential areas and industrial districts of Mykolaiv with Uragan multiple launch rocket systems.

In Mykolaiv, almost 50% of billboards were removed for the needs of defense of the city. 300 dismantled structures became anti-tank hedgehogs, and structures for dugouts or embankments.

The Mykolaiv municipal services workers receive bulletproof vests to be able to carry out their work and be safe. These vests will be provided by the French organization Gilet Ukraine.

In Mykolaiv there is still a lack of drinking water. The city recently received five brand new water tank trucks from the International Committee of the Red Cross in Ukraine. The city will also have a mobile kitchen from the World Central Kitchen project. Internally displaced persons (IDPs), the elderly, members of large families, and other residents of the city who need help will be able to get hot meals daily at the distribution points. The project team includes local chefs of one of the Mykolaiv public catering facilities, which since the beginning of war has been engaged in volunteer activities in the field of making lunches.

Odesa Oblast

The day in the oblast passed quietly.

The danger of missile attacks remains. Air defense units are constantly on high alert. The Armed Forces of Ukraine are conducting exercises. The Territorial Defense units build fortifications to defend the oblast.

People are united and active, and are engaged in volunteer activities.

The coordinator of the AUI “Active Community” informed the citizens on receiving psychological counseling, informational assistance, and humanitarian aid.

Central oblasts

Dnipropetrovsk Oblast

The village of Velyka Kostromka came under fire from the russians. As a result, residential buildings, the gas pipeline, and the power grid were damaged, and one person was wounded.

Soldiers of the detached brigade of the Dnipro territorial defense units seized an armored personnel carrier of the russian invaders.

In the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast, the Security Service of Ukraine (SSU) detained the administrator of Internet communities that justified the aggression of the russian federation.

Near Kryvyi Rih, the National Guard detained a 60-year-old collaborator who was leaking the information on the Ukrainian military positions to the enemy. He traveled with a working DVR, filmed military installations and passed information to the occupiers via messenger. Another traitor, a 55-year-old resident of Zelenodolsk, was detained while on duty. He also collected information about the location of our troops.

The SSU exposed frauds from the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast who came up with a scheme to sell the “humanitarian aid” for 60 million hryvnias. A group of young men fled Ukraine on forged documents after a full-scale russian invasion. Already abroad, they sold Western military equipment and dual-use items intended for the needs of the Armed Forces, at least three times inflating their cost. In order not to pay customs duties in Ukraine, the perpetrators imported the above equipment under the guise of charitable assistance, forging documents on behalf of charitable organizations.

Emergency crews of the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast received 3 new vehicles – off-road Land Cruisers, provided to them by the World Health Organization and the UK Government.

Stanislav Hubkin, a photographer from Dnipro, helps the Armed Forces of Ukraine with military ammunition. On February 24, he decided that he decided that his audience could be of great benefit. For 3 months since the beginning of the full-scale war of the russian federation against Ukraine, Stanislav has been collecting donations for ammunition for the Armed Forces of Ukraine and, together with his friends, is buying, delivering and handing over this aid directly to the defenders of our country.

Kirovohrad Oblast

An air alert was sounded – there was a threat of a missile strike.

In general, the situation is calm and controlled.

Deputy Mayor Oleksandr Mosin noted that Kropyvnytskyi continues to receive forced migrants who leave their homes in combat zones. Many locals provided free housing for the temporary accommodation of IDPs. The state supports such homeowners and compensates them for utilities.

The IDPs carried out a toloka – a joint cleaning of the embankment in Kropyvnytskyi. Thus, they thanked the city for shelter and care. The organizer of the toloka is Bohdan Ponomaryov, a native of Rubizhne. Now his city is occupied and broken. Residents of Kropyvnytskyi greeted him and other Ukrainians fleeing the war very warmly. And now they have joined the cleaning. Side by side they cleaned the territory. They painted and repaired old benches and arranged a playground on the banks of a picturesque river.

A charity event was held in Pavlysh (Onufpiivka community). Housewives of the region prepared dumplings with potatoes, cabbage, strawberries, poppies and even beans, to which they offered a variety of seasonings and sauces. Large and small producers brought flour, oil, bread and bakery products, cheese, fish. The saleswomen in embroidered shirts offered all this to the buyers. They managed to raise 61,000 hryvnias for the Armed Forces of Ukraine.

The coordinator of AUI “Active Community” took part in weaving camouflage nets.

Poltava Oblast

A resident of Poltava has been declared wanted for misappropriation of property worth 900,000 hryvnias. In June 2021, a man and the former colleagues of the state enterprise “SETAM”, the head and employees of the executive service engaged in the sale of seized property, complied with court decisions. They described and seized the agricultural machinery of the “CSENSM” company so that it could pay off its salary arrears. The defendants forged a statement about the storage of equipment and sold it. The prosecutor’s office informed them of the suspicion, the investigation is underway.

Prior to that, the church belonged to the Ukrainian Orthodox Church of the Moscow Patriarchate. The first service in the Ukrainian language as part of the Orthodox Church of Ukraine will be held in the church on June 12, the day of the Holy Trinity.

I am Marty Lokatyr of Ukraine.

Ivano-Frankivsk City Court found four people guilty of treason and support of the armed aggression of the Russian Federation. The traitors were sentenced to 15 years in prison with confiscation of property. Prosecutors proved in court that the convicts – three shooters and a machine gunner of the 115th Regiment of the 3rd Battalion of the 2nd Company of the 2nd Platoon of the so-called DNR Army, as citizens of Ukraine, sided with the enemy under martial law. They participated in the preparations for the fighting of the invaders against Ukraine. The convicts also recognized the legitimate armed aggression of the Russian Federation against Ukraine, which began in 2014, and the temporary occupation of part of the state. In March 2022, they arrived in the Kharkiv region in order to further occupy the territory of Ukraine by the armed forces of the Russian Federation.
