Northern oblasts

At night, the russian military shelled the Sumy Oblast four times. 15 explosions were recorded.

In the Sumy Oblast, border guards shot down a russian kamikaze drone. The border patrol used an anti-drone gun and opened fire with small arms. The kamikaze drone exploded while falling to the ground.

Voluntary evacuation of the population continues in the 5-kilometer zone in the Sumy Oblast.

Eastern oblasts

Kharkiv Oblast

A series of explosions thundered in the Zmiiv community, which was attacked by at least six russian Shahed UAVs. Two men were wounded. The attack damaged a civilian enterprise and residential buildings.

The russians also dropped an aerial bomb on a cheese factory in Velykyi Burluk. The plant was out of operation, yet the strike damaged administrative and industrial buildings, as well as 10 private homes.

The city council estimates that Kharkiv’s war-related damage has reached 10 billion US dollars.

Donetsk Oblast

On January 29, the russian military shelled ten settlements in the Donetsk Oblast. The occupation forces used aircraft, missiles, S-300 air defense systems, and artillery against the civilian population.

24 attacks by the russian army were repulsed by the Armed Forces of Ukraine near Avdiivka, which is more than half of all battle engagements that took place on the frontline in the Donetsk and Luhansk oblasts over the last day.

Kramatorsk and Kramatorsk Raion

Yesterday, the enemy bombarded Kostyantynivka from artillery, damaging three private houses and disrupting utility lines.

Pokrovsk and Pokrovsk Raion

A 38-year-old man died as a result of shelling in Myrnograd. According to preliminary data, the russian army struck late in the evening, firing from the S-300 air defense system. The dead man was riding his bicycle home from work. A 50-year-old woman was also injured.

On the morning of January 30, the russian army struck the city with artillery. A woman died. Private houses and a high-rise building were damaged.

The russians hit Ocheretyne with three missiles, damaging five apartment buildings.

The invaders fired two S-300 missiles at Tsukuryne, damaging six private homes and a transport facility.

Bakhmut and Bakhmut Raion

The occupying forces attacked Chasiv Yar with drones and struck New York with artillery. Three people are injured.

Luhansk Oblast

The Ukrainian military reported the downing of a russian Su-34 fighter jet in the Luhansk Oblast.

Mykolaiv Oblast

Zaporizhzhia Oblast

Yesterday, russian military personnel struck 159 attacks on 19 towns and villages of the Zaporizhzhia Oblast. Nine reports were received about the destruction of residential buildings and infrastructure facilities. There were no casualties.

Two attacks by the russian military to the west of Verbove and Robotyne in the Zaporizhzhia direction were repulsed by the Defense Forces.

In the temporarily occupied Berdiansk of the Zaporizhzhia Oblast, the russians have not paid salaries to public sector employees for two months.

Odessa Oblast

In Odesa, “Shakhed” was defused. It was found unexploded after the russian attack on the city on January 24. The weight of the explosive substance in the drone was more than 50 kilograms.

Kherson Oblast

Over the past 24 hours, russian troops shelled the Kherson Oblast 67 times, firing 272 shells from mortars, artillery, anti-aircraft guns, tanks, aviation and unmanned aerial vehicles, including two of the “Shahed” type. Residential quarters were targeted, and the company’s territory in the Kherson Raion was attacked with “shaheds”. One person died, another was injured.

On the evening of January 29, russian troops attacked Shliakhove in the Kherson Oblast from aviation. They dropped two guided aerial bombs. Residential buildings and commercial buildings were damaged. There are no casualties or injuries.

russian troops dropped explosives from a drone near the building of the humanitarian headquarters in Beryslav of the Kherson Oblast. A man was injured. He was taken to the hospital with an explosive injury and a shrapnel wound in his leg.

As a result of another russian attack on the village of Tokarivka in the Kherson Oblast, a woman was injured. She was diagnosed with an explosive injury, a partial amputation of a finger on her hand, a shrapnel wound to the head and abdomen, and a leg. The injured woman was hospitalized.

Special operations forces destroyed with strike drones a russian infantry fighting vehicle that tried to hit the crews of the Ukrainian unmanned aviation complex in the Kherson Oblast.

Central oblasts

Dnipropetrovsk Oblast

On the night of January 30, russian troops attacked Kryvyi Rih raion with drones. One of them was shot down by defenders. Another targeted civilian infrastructure. The Chervonogryhorivka community in Nikopol raion was also hit with artillery. A private house, three outbuildings, and a car were damaged.

As a result of shelling by russian troops, a fire broke out at one of the Ukrenergo substations in the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast. A local enterprise was de-energized.

On the night of January 29-30, russia once again attacked Ukraine with attack drones. Units of the Air Defense Forces shot down two enemy “shaheds” over the Kirovohrad Oblast.

On January 30, during the session, the deputies of the Golovanivsk settlement council allocated 7 million hryvnias for the needs of territorial defense. The funds will be used for the purchase of quadcopters, generators, a minibus and automotive equipment.

The diaspora of Ukrainians in Canada handed over nine new Toyota pickups to the Air Defense Forces of the Kirovohrad Oblast.

Cherkasy Oblast

At night Cherkasy was attacked by two russian UAVs. In Uman Oblast, a hit by a “shahed” on an abandoned building was recorded. Another attack drone was destroyed by air defense. It passed without casualties.

A free Volunteer School was launched in Cherkasy. Lecturers will be experienced volunteers from Cherkasy and all over Ukraine. At the end of the School, all volunteers will be able to join one of the volunteer initiatives and will receive a certificate.

In Cherkasy, adaptive sports for disabled soldiers were demonstrated. The event called “Invincible” was attended by the Minister of Veteran Affairs of Ukraine, Yulia Laputina. According to her, sports are a good opportunity for veterans to integrate into society. Veteran prize-winners of the “Invincible Games” and All-Ukrainian competitions also took part in the event.

Vinnytsia Oblast

In Vinnytsia, ten fallen servicemen were awarded the Order “For Courage” of the 3rd degree. Awards were presented to the families of fallen defenders.

Khmelnytskyi Oblast

Chernivtsi Oblast

85-year-old Maria Paladiychuk from Chernivtsi bought a military drone. The pensioner spent 98 thousand hryvnias on this.

Volunteers from the village of Dynivtsi in the Novoselytsia community delivered another aid to the front. This time, wage earners, who have been working abroad for about 15 years, collected funds and purchased a Mercedes ML car. Products were also added to the necessary equipment.

The armored SUV, for which Maryna Strelnikova and her friends raised money, saved the lives of six soldiers. Among them was her husband, who went to war as a volunteer. The woman is a volunteer from the Zastavna community, who started helping the military in 2022. Over the years, the volunteer, together with her friends, handed over two dozen cars to the military and helped buy monoculars and thermal imagers.

The Chancellery of the Marshal of the Lodz Voivodeship handed over humanitarian aid to the Chernivtsi Oblast Military Administration: an ultrasound machine, functional medical beds, aluminum walkers, crutches, wheelchairs for children and adults, medical first-aid kits and bed linen. The received equipment was distributed according to needs to institutions and institutions of social protection of the population of Bukovyna.

Ternopil Oblast

Parishioners of Vyshnivets, Borsuky, and Lanivtsi communities donated more than 250,000 hryvnias for FPV drones. Residents of eight villages joined the fundraising. In particular, the parishioners of Bilozirka initially collected one hundred thousand hryvnias for the repair of the church facade, but then decided to give these funds to the Armed Forces.
