Northern oblasts
Kyiv

After being evacuated from Bucha, the Sulimovskys lived in Uzhhorod, where the girl was inspired by other children to help the Ukrainian Armed Forces.
Chernihiv Oblast

On January 5, the Ukrainian Defense Forces repelled 39 attacks by russian troops in the Donetsk Oblast, shelling 7 settlements. Most of the fighting took place in the Avdiivka and Maryinka sectors. Twenty-nine civilian buildings were damaged.
In the Donetsk Oblast, one person was wounded in Krasnohorivka as a result of shelling by Russian troops on January 5.
Pokrovsk and Pokrovsk Raion
On the night of January 6, the russian army attacked Pokrovsk twice. S-300 missiles hit the territory of the enterprise. Six hits causing damage were recorded. There are casualties.

Yesterday, the enemy made 131 strikes on 18 towns and villages of the Zaporizhzhia Oblast. There were no casualties. Ten reports were received about the destruction of residential buildings and infrastructure facilities.
In the Zaporizhzhia direction in the Robotyne area, the Defense Forces repelled an attack by the russian military.
Odesa Oblast
The Odesa community of defenders of “Azovstal” went to Deribasivska Street to the Christmas tree to remind people about the captured defenders of Mariupol. The participants chant: “Glory to the marines!”, “Don’t let them die!”, “Free the Mariupol garrison!”, “Free the Azov regiment!”.
Kherson Oblast
The russian army shelled the Kherson Oblast 112 times during the day. They aimed at an enterprise in the Kherson raion. One person died, five were injured.
The Tiahynka community came under fire from the russian military today. The village council building, modular houses where internally displaced persons lived, a warehouse with humanitarian aid, as well as private cars were destroyed. A man is wounded. He was hospitalized with a mine-explosive injury, a broken arm.
The troops of the russian federation shelled the Darivka community in the Kherson Oblast. Two nine-year-old brothers received shrapnel wounds. They were hospitalized.
The enemy army attacked Ivanivka in the Kherson Oblast. A man is wounded. He was in the yard of his own house. He was hospitalized with multiple injuries.
Central oblasts
Dnipropetrovsk Oblast
On the evening of January 5, russian troops shelled the Nikopol Raion of the Dnipropetrovsk Oblast with heavy artillery. There are no dead or injured.

Zakarpattia Oblast
Mobile fire groups from the Zakarpattia anti-aircraft machine-gun battalion began to perform the combat task of protecting the airspace.
