Kyiv

A resident of Kyiv, who promoted the “russian world” and called for the occupation of Ukraine, will face justice. According to the investigation, in the period from March to May 2022, the suspect, using his own accounts in a banned social network, distributed materials supporting russia’s armed aggression against Ukraine.

Tomorrow, a memorial action will be held in Kyiv to mark the anniversary of the murder of Georgiy Gongadze. The action will be held in the Illinskyi public garden near Kontraktova Square. Participants who knew Georgiy personally will be able to once again tell the audience what he was like and what he is remembered for. Others will remember the journalist’s contribution to the development of the Ukrainian media and the oppression of journalists by the occupation authorities in the occupied Crimea and other territories temporarily not controlled by Ukraine.
